Has a very upscale feel without being too pretentious. It’s welcoming and extremely clean and well maintained. They no longer do hair but all other services are available. Optional wine or champagne is available at an additional charge. Very friendly staff that treats you like top priority.

They have very variable quality. My mom and I showed the same reference picture (below). Unfortunately, mine were of poor quality, although are okay from a distance. The white tips were sloppy and had excess residue left on the nail. There was white paint left on my skin on several nails. The pink acrylic was way too dark for the nude reference picture I showed. I gave two stars instead of one because my moms nails (done by a different tech) were beautiful and of high quality.

I was shocked and amazed to walk in to find that owner, many staff members and lots of customers are NOT wearing masks. I had not been there in a while since COVID, so I thought to treat myself. There is no specified social distancing except on the manicure side. They do a good job, techs are friendly, but prices are outrageous. I was happy with mani/pedi but face waxing fell short!

Azulene is always clean, relaxing and my favorite place to go get a pedicure. I personally always ask for Yuki, she does an amazing job!

I had an appointment and was on time, my nail tech was assigned to someone else by Management and then the super nice front desk girl had to give me the bad news. The front desk girls are always super sweet and so are the techs. I dont understand why Management didnt come over himself to let me know what happened. I had to wait, take another nail tech or come back later which is completely unfair, as if it were the other way around, and I had been late to my appointment they would have given my tech away, this is what they always say. So pretty much their time is more valuable than mine? This is not right and management does not care!I’ve been a long time customer and their service has been lacking for a while now. I pay good money yet their service has been getting worse and worse. I pay for a 55 min pedicure and the tech is done in 40 min. Not right at all. Its time to move on!Do yourself a favor, save some money and go elsewhere. There are many other salons in the area that are not as expensive and appreciate their customers! Pro Nails, Premier Nails, etc.

Ben is THE BEST. My dips last 3 to 4 weeks or longer. He is always open to my crazy nail design requests. He gives a delightful pedicure to. Go see him if you want an amazing nail tech. Hes funny to.

After living here for 6 weeks and having bad experiences at 2 different salons, I came to Azulene on a recommendation. Lilly did my pedicure and dip nails. She was wonderful!! I have found a new home for my services. I highly recommend her. The spa was very clean and everyone was professional. The prices are a little higher about 10% , but I will gladly pay because the experience was 100% better!!

First if all, I went to Azulene after going to Escape nails because they made a mess!!!!. Im pretty sure any first grader could have done a better job than that place. I asked for a specific design ,they said they couldnt do it so I then requested something simple and gave the colors I wanted ..I got one of the colors I requested and the simple design was nowhere near what I requested. I didnt have time to argue or complain as I only had a few minutes to be at my next appointment. Im adding a photo to my review so people can see how you do nails. Word of mouth is the best advertising,dont ya think?! The pink in this photo is not what I requested. Im not sure if you can see the camel 🐫 hump in my nails. They wont refund anything so Ill give them $50 of marketing. The design is nothing compared to what I requested that the tech said he could do. So remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.i have posted a picture of what I requested next to what I got...you be the judge.

I really enjoy my appointments with my nail tech. I have never been disappointed. My daughter joined me on my last visit, she had her nails done in gel polish for the first time. She’s turning 21, it was a birthday present. They made sure we could be side by side to enjoy this time together. They were so accommodating and kind. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This was my first time at this spa. First, let me say this place is beautifully decorated. I sat and waited for a short time to be called for my nails to be done. As I waited, other customers who came in for services was offered something to drink...I was not. Hmmm.During this time of getting a fill on my nails, the person asked if I wanted her to clean my cuticles (as they were a mess) so I agreed. She cut me 3 times and made my fingers bleed. Days later and they are still hurting. Things happen and she apologized, but what was upsetting is that she charged me to cut my cuticles. First of all she didnt tell me cutting my cuticles would be a separate charge, but have the nerve to charge me after cutting me several times. Then at the end while paying the bill finding out that shaping my nails during a fill service (which should be included) is also a separate charge. What on earth!?!?! SMH. Dont think Ill be returning.

I took my mom for the Coconut Pedicure here. We both got french gel pedicures. My nail technicians name was Vicky. She was very professional. I work in a nail salon with my mother so seeing her following every guideline was very much appreciated. I will definitely be returning here for my next spa day.The only reason Im rating four stars is because my moms technician didnt put bond below the base coat for the gel. She also skipped some massage and one of the hot rocks. This made me sad because the day was really meant to pamper my mom who had just had surgery a few weeks ago, but I was really the one who ended up getting the five star treatment.Long story short, if youre looking for someone who gives good pedicures, Vicky is the one to ask for.

OMG best facial Ever and I have had a lot. My gel color lasted on my nail a for two weeks. Thats a first. Nail tech was a fantastic Asian Guy. Great personality and very funny. I am horrible with remembering names. But they know they exist in all their grandeur.

As a client for over a decade, I can tell you with certainty... they do not care about their clients. Customer loyalty and giving a great experience does not matter to them. At all. They dont allow complaints and you are not permitted to speak to the owner and there are no refunds on anything no matter the reason. You can speak to the associates at the counter, they will pretty politely tolerate you while they kind of listen... and then basically tell you that your feedback does not matter, it will not be implemented in any way and they will do nothing to make bad service right and are actually not permitted to do anything per the owner.Over the years I have had great service but also multiple incidents of TERRIBLE service. So a fair assessment is, if you get someone great, they are really great (Diane, Mike, Lilly and Lee are the best to ask for) …. if you get anyone else they pretty much do not do so great and...well …. thats kind of just too bad according to them. Azulene is in a convenient location with long business hours and with my busy schedule that is really the reason I kept trying to overlook the bad business practices but over the years they get pricier and pricier with many up charges for things that are part of the regular services anywhere else. They also get busier and busier and the wait is longer and far more difficult to get an appointment with a consistent and skilled technician. After a few instances of paying top dollar but getting sub par work and also having my nails damaged through terrible over filing and bad shaping (I wear natural nails with an overlay ), being treated rudely, being up charged for every little thing, not being listened to when things went wrong, I finally just said enough is enough.

Customer service is just non existent!!!My partner and I made appointment for made an appointment for manicure and pedicure so we can have a nice relaxing afternoon together but instead the person who was in charge decided to separate us (my boy friend and I don’t get much time together and this was his treat to me Thy day) the person in charge was rude to him and short and just did not care. The workers were nice and u can tell the smiles were forced because I am sure they did not want to look like they agreed with us!!! They probably need someone at the front with more guest relation experience as we feel we were badly treated and disappointed which made the relaxing time turn into more of a frustrated time!! If u could give the place ZERO stars I would!

My good friend treated me to a spa day. She paid a pretty penny for us to be pampered. This was my first time at a spa,and having my nails done. The facial tech was nice ,but it was a little strange with the sounds she said were supposed to be relaxing. The massage was nice ,as was the lady. I picked out reg. polish for my toes and nails. The tech was nice but tried to push gel polish ,and its a higher price,I refused. My fingernails started chipping the very next day,Sunday. By Monday big pieces started chipping off. My toes,a week later are still in tact. But when I use dollar tree polish it usually stays a while too. I would expect this place to have nail polish that lasts longer than a day. I definitely wont be back.

I love coming here for pedicures. They have so much to offer, I also get dip manicures here as well. I have not had a bad experience here so far.I highly recommend.

Mia has done an awesome job! I’ve never been happier with my nails. She’s quick and very helpful. She helped me find the perfect color to match when I brought in a picture for reference. I haven’t had any nails break and they’re even and not thick at all! Will be going to her from now on. The girls at the counter are very attentive and sweet as well and Mia has been ready for me with my appointment time.

Had an awesome visit today. The coconut pedicure was perfect. Lily had my feet feeling great with her unique massage technique. I will be back to see Lily.

She is very professional, kind and an amazing technician.I recommend making an appointment and the spa is very popular! My appointments have always run on time. They also have wine available for purchase by the glass. Perfect for a girls Saturday or Sunday Funday beginning. I recommend the Riesling :)

Love this place. This place is super clean and affordable. The staff does a great job, completely unrushed both mani pedi. The massage was done properly and the masseuse knows exactly what she is doing. Only word of caution is you will probably make this place a routine.

I went to the counter and the lady asked what I needed. I told her that I needed my nails filled and was going to get a few other things done. She then informed me that I needed to wear a face diaper and that I also needed to go buy one in order to have my nails done. Well....do you know how many nail salons there are in Ocala? My nails turned out beautiful and I wasnt required to wear a 😷 at Nail Boutique!

Sent my daughter to get her nails done. She asked for them to be shorter and was told they couldnt be shorter. She asked for them to be square and they up-charged her for length and shape. (almond) She did not ask for this and was not told how it would impact her pricing. When she approached them about the misunderstanding they told her that is their pricing and there is nothing they could do. She had Peter. Thanks Peter.Thanks salon. We will not be back.

Nail tech had no idea how to do acrylic nails. He didn’t listen to what I wanted. They were misshapen and uneven. Pedicure, although done by someone else, was the same. The salon is on the expensive side and their service does not stand up to their prices!Never going back.

My husband and I went in for a couples pedicure. It was wonderful...his lady had to work extra hard but did a great job.

It would have been nice to be told about the 1.75 debit card fee now for paying with a card at the desk when I checked in. And the increase of 2.00 at the appointment. But as always, I came out with a smile because I loved my nails. I like the calm atmosphere the most.

What can I say? Aesthetically Awesome. From the moment you walk in people are diligently working. Ambiance beautiful. Impeccably clean. Had the best facial I have ever had!! Including NYC, and many more. A lil bit of upselling but that is expected. A good experience. If you are getting a facial ask for Martha you will be pleased!!

Have been going here for a couple years, they provide the best pedicures in town! We even went on a Disney cruise, expecting Azulene level pedicures and were disappointed lol they have a solid list of services and work with you so you leave with something you love. My husband and I regularly schedule with Zoey and Bau. Check it out!

Got a gift card and decided to use it on my birthday. I just dont know how to feel after spending $73 for a mani (gel color) and pedicure. The pedi was decent. Despite upgrading, it was nothing to rave about. The manicure was even more underwhelming. I will be back since I have a balance on my gift card. See picture of my my left hand. Ive had a lot better job done for much less. If the service matches the price, I dont mind paying it. This wasnt worth it.But it is a clean and nice looking place though.Edit: despite getting gel color - that was done poorly - my nail is chipped already. 4 days later. All in all, including tip, this cost $83. Overpriced for absolutely no reason. What a waste.

While I appreciate the staff somewhat attempting (if I can even call it that?) to fix the disastrous situation, I will not be returning and will have to let others know how disappointing the service was here. It seemed like nobody knew how to handle the situation at all, and both husband and wife nail technicians were acting passively-aggressively towards me when I only wanted them to do their job. Asking to change my color, my nails to be an even size (which they are still embarrassingly uneven), and asking to see the nail samples, etc., all should have been completely normal and a non-issue as it is part of their JOB. Instead of trying to make up for the whole nightmare and acknowledge Mikes unacceptable behavior, the (whom I assume) manager just kept referring to the whole thing as a mistake. And I never did once see her again after I went with her second employee to fix my nails. How awful, insulting, and extremely unprofessional. Should this situation ever arise again, the manager should be sure to never let another client leave this unhappy, this unsatisfied, and this disappointed ever again.

I have been going to Azulene for many years on and off. This is the only shop that I’m always 💯 percent satisfied. Sometimes I have tried other salons. And never completely satisfied. I always recommend them to anyone. Today was my birthday and I got 10 percent off.

Amazing customer service experience. Came in near closing time in desperate need of a pedicure and they squeezed me in a for a basic pedi. But it wasn’t basic at all, Mr. T hooked me up! Incredible foot massage! Very attentive. Highly recommend!!!!

Today was the first time I have been to Azulene. From the moment you walk in you feel part of their family they are very friendly fast and efficient. My technician was Mister Andy and he did a fabulous job, I got the dip nails for the first time and will definitely be going back. I also got the $35 lash extensions they went on very easy and look very natural I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality work!

Part 2. Not my proudest moment. I was just so irritated that no one seemed to want to acknowledge what was so obvious. The first lady asks me to take a seat, and I notice a group of employees gather around her, and I can hear some escalated conversation with who I can only assume to have been between her and Mike, but I could not clearly see behind the wall partition. She returns with another employee and says she will help fix my nails for me. I hesitantly walk over with her, and as were walking she informs me that shes Mikes wife... She sits me down and rubs my shoulders and laughingly asks me to try and calm down. You cannot make this stuff up. And I really wish I could say it gets better from here and everything gets resolved. She starts to try and make me feel comfortable I guess, soaks my chopped off nails, gets me water, etc. She sits down and asks, so what happened? What went wrong? Im surprised she asks me this with all the people on both sides of us but I oblige. I start to explain and as I get to the part about him randomly cutting my nails off, she starts to shush me. She shushes me and I dont know what to do, so I stop talking. She asks me to pick a color, I do. She begins to apologize for the situation and for the first time and only time, admits that Mike had a bad morning and that she has no idea where this came from because her husband has never done this sort of thing before. I said I understand and that we all have bad days, but that I was shocked as I have never experienced anything like this before either. Shes seemingly sympathetic.Now, I dont know if its the lighting in that place but I think I notice the color she comes back with appears darker. I ask, and she firmly and briskly responds theres only one this number and she has the right color. She cuts and starts to shape my new nails, and I can tell theyre significantly much longer than my other nails. I figure shes probably not finished and let it be. Then she reaches for the gel color so I start to ask if she plans on making making my nails even. She responds, oh no Im not finished just yet. Ill get to them. I say, oh okay, I figured. Thanks. She proceeds to file a little more, holds up my fingers and asks if theyre good. Im astonished. Theyre little to barely recognizably any different. I mutter sure because I feel like Im being treated unfairly, as if I’m being difficult for even asking. She notices and files a little more. I ask if it would be too much trouble to see the nail samples again (so I could check that I get the right color!). She becomes noticeably irritated and starts calling me Maam very rudely and states she will paint one nail and see if I like it, and if I dont she will take it right off. I had no choice in the matter basically. So I suck it up and just go with the color. I ask what her husbands name is and she tells me Mike, why are you going to have him arrested? Shocked I say no, of course not. I would never do something like that. And I pray to get out of this place as soon as I can. She finishes, and she appears annoyed I have to use the restroom before I go up front to pay her. I return and proceed to pay because obviously having someone almost assault you is no big deal in this place. I decide just to pay and get out of there. She quickly apologizes once more as she hands me the receipt. I had no intentions on tipping, but paying for the services despite how awful they were, seemed like the right thing to do at the time. However, she stood there staring at me as I was signing. And I didnt want to subject myself to any more unfair treatment so I caved and tipped 10% anyway. I leave only to realize I had been charged $5 extra than what I was originally quoted but whatever at this point. There’s no way I’m going back in there EVER again.

My nail appointment with Li was very nice. The thing I like best about Azulene is it’s always very relaxing and incredibly clean.
