Called last minute. Was told to make an appointment. While doing so, they changed their mind and had me come in.Sha (like sha-na-na) was assigned to my pedicure.When asked about the stenciling, he said no problem.It took him over an hour to do my pedicure. I was not at all happy with the work he had done but was going to let the art go. However, at the time, it felt as though he had rounded my big toe nail too much and had the feeling of being ingrown for the first 4 weeks. I have attached photos of what my big toe looks like after nearly 6 weeks.Update as of 10.05.2021(6mos after initial service)Toe nail is slowly growing out. Its dead and will eventually fall off. Both big toenails were damaged. Added last photo collage showing damage as of now.

Ive finally found a place that gives good customer service and not treat me as a number. I always get top notch service and friendly conversation with everyone.

I absolutely love this nail shop! Jimmy does an amazing job on my nails and feet every time I come to see him! Everyone is always so nice and pleasant to me I truly enjoy the atmosphere when I’m here. I’ll never frequent another nail shop in Normal again!

I have been going here for more than 6 months now. I love this place. They are reasonably priced and do a great job. I always go to tech, Jimmy. Ive never unhappy with his work. He gives the best pedicures.

I have gone to Amy for many, many years—before she and Lang opened Star Nails. I have had other pedicures in other states that cost SUBSTANTIALLY more money, but Amy is the only person I trust to take care of my feet. Take care, she does—I fight ingrown toenails, but she removes them without destroying my toes. Despite not being able to afford pedicures every month, she proceeds to care for my feet as if I were a more regular customer with more sandal-ready feet. She is caring, professional, and a gem; she and Lang run their shop with integrity. I am so thankful to her for caring for my feet; I will not go to anyone else.

Excellent and professional service. The manicures and pedicures are flawless and very relaxing. This is also a place that takes sanitation seriously and I have never known anyone who goes here to have an issue. The staff is also very friendly as well.

The massage chairs here are very simple and do not provide relief. The workers are pleasant, but the chairs ruined it for me. I look forward to the massage aspect of visiting a salon just as much as the pedicure. We will not be going back.

Danny who did my nails told me 5 times he was going to slap me because my nails were so short...rather taken back by this since I have never had such a negative response to keeping my nails short before...a little awkward. Had another friend who he asked how much she weighed. All other staff is very friendly and sweet.

I came in on a Saturday and was concerned about an ingrown toenail. I was seated immediately and the person who did my nails took care of it gently and thoroughly. Very pleased with my visit. I would recommend Star Nails in Normal.

This place is horrible!! The workers don’t listen and give you what you asked for and then when you express yourself they become very rude. I took my 2 teenage daughters I. There a week ago. My one daughter just wanted a manicure and polish to be a French manicure. When the tech finished her nails looked sloppy and bad so I asked that they change it and they started arguing with me. My other daughter wanted a set of nails out on then painted white with blue snowflakes on 2 fingers. She got a set with white tips and a white snowflakes. When expressed this as well they got all upset saying this is what we asked for when we clearly didn’t. I will never set foot in this establishment again.

I went last Saturday to this place and they took FOREVER to do my friend and my nails! I got acrylic nails and after only 2 days 1 already came off! It’s been a week and 4 have came off! I called and they said if I came back they would fix them. I have gone back twice and both times they said they are busy and I need to come a different day. Funny how they can’t make time for me when they said they will “fix them for free”. Not accommodating at all and very unapologetic about wasting my time! I am done wasting my time with these people so I’m just going to deal with the broken nails but I’m beyond mad that I wasted $40 on nails that didn’t even last 2 days!

Made an appointment for 530p so my daughter could get her nails done for her 13th birthday & was going to get our toes done as well but the lady doing my daughters nails was so rude and mean to her. I refused to add a tip when service was completed... first & last time ever taking my daughter to this nail shop!!

Many problems with the acrylic fill I got today. 2 had to be replaced since they were coming off and the new ones were put on very crooked and different lengths than the rest. Some nails oddly shaped when they were supposed to be coffin shaped. A couple nails bumpy because the powder was not spread evenly throughout the nail. Lady doing my nails did not seem to care enough to fix any of these problems

I got a no chip manicure on Saturday... 3 days later, one of my nails is already breaking, since they are now weak... from sitting in a bowl of acetone to take the polish off...

When I Got my nails done 2 of them were put on crooked and they werent even shaped right. I wanted almond nails and she mixed almond and coffin shape

Well ...pretty bad experience ... I tried this place for the first time, bad first impression. When he first did my nails he ask what shape I told him square round he said no square looks better... mostly because I think he was to lazy to file the nails then i told him, what if I dont like it though? He said u can go home and file it ...... I said I guess ... fast forward to next day one nail comes off I come in to get it fixed they tell me they will fix it. So as I sit down I tell him I dont like the square can I just file the corners a little now he says no because then I have to fix them .... it will mess up the nail polish. Then y did u tell me yesterday to file it at home if I dont like it ??? His name was Danny yup this place is not really about there customer service at all I was surprised honestly because they have such good ratings supposedly but was not the case with me. Disappointed as heck. -___-
