So happy I found this place! I went in looking to get a small fix on my ring, which I got from my grandmother and wear every day. They not only fixed that but recommended a major improvement to the band as well which was getting thin and warped. I was super impressed at how quickly he was able to do such great work (only took a few hours on a busy weekend), and the price was totally reasonable.

I was trying to find a jeweler that could fixed the very delicate part of the band on a beautiful Murano glass ring I purchased in Venice. I crushed the band while trying to lift something while the ring was on.Its not worth much in dollars but it means a lot to me as a memory. I visited this shop today for the first time with a ring that required a deep cleaning. My own efforts to clean the piece were to no avail because it was soiled in crevices impossible for a layperson to get to. After reading the stellar reviews, I decided to give these pros a try. Albert, the resident jeweler, was very attentive and promptly cleaned my ring employing what looked like thorough, cutting edge methods. The result was lovely and free of charge! I was ready to pay and then delightfully surprised that they dont charge for cleanings. I left feeling very satisfied and most certainly would return if the need presents.

I came in a few weeks ago with a tangled necklace - the necklace has a tiny chain so impossible to fix on my own. He was able to untangle it in a matter of minutes and then cleaned it before returning it to me. So impressed and will definitely be returning with any other jewelry issues.

This was simply the best and quality repair service I’ve ever had in my entire life. I made an invisible tiny stripped screw on the back of my camera lens while exchanging a lens mount. I’ve tried every hacks those were out there on the internet to remove the stripped screw out of the lens and not even single place in the city said they could remove it. I came to this TimePiece watch repair shop with my last hope and asked for a help. Albert greeted me very nicely and Ruben who is a technician removed a stripped screw out of the lens completely clean in a less than two minutes. I almost had to buy extra lens adopters which cost nearly $100 and these guys just saved me from it. I can’t tell how amazing they would be at repairing jewelries and watches when they can deal with different parts of repairs. Thanks guys. These guys deserve more than 5 stars really.

Ruben is a GENIUS! A true craftsman who takes his work seriously and knows the ins and outs of jewelry. I brought my beloved heirloom engagement ring from 1910 to him for a cleaning and he made it NEW again. He offered to take it all apart and clean inside and out (for $300), but he was honest and said he didn’t think that was necessary, a simple outer cleaning would do wonders ($25). He was RIGHT! After inspecting my ring, he was spot on with the time period of the ring and knew how delicate it was. I wouldn’t trust my ring with anyone else. I will only bring it to Ruben!

I buzzed on the door and was welcomed into this charming, eclectic store. I needed a battery changing on my watch. Ruben, the owner, in his kind and accommodating manner, explained the differences in the two battery options. I opted for the better, store battery. Ruben offered to clean my watch. My watch is fully rejuvinated and looks brand new. The price was very reasonable and I was in there for about 10 minutes! His brother, Albert, was in the back, creating magnificent, custom jewelry. Highly recommend this for jewelry repair! I went in with 2 broken necklaces and earrings with a stud broken. All were fixed within the day! To make sure the earrings matched, they even recreated by hand 2 studs for both of the earrings. Great service!

Stopped in with a cheap but sentimental ring whose band was so terribly bent it was practically horizontal to the gem. Albert fixed it back right then and there. Wears even better now than it did before!

Went over to this amazing watch shop in Greenwich Village as I decided to fix multiple watches which the bands needed to be changed, battery needed to be swapped. Ruben the watch maker is amazing.He works on both hi-end watches - Omega/Rolex/Cartier and also on daily drivers like Seiko, Gshock etc.I got a watch band polished, changed batteries and also swap out the straps. Its amazing how swapping a old strap for a new one completely makes the watch look like new. For one of the digital watches, it needed a specific screw head which was uncommon -- ruben actually made a custom screwed for me and then fixed the watch.I highly recommend them for all watch servicing, Great find --- amazing work, good prices and quick turnaround. Ruben and Albert are supreme mensches. I came in off the street with a couple of very old and non-functioning Casios, and I departed twenty minutes later with two veritably new and polished vintage watches. Ruben was very reasonable up front on cost. He proclaimed that he just wanted to make a happy customer and that’s exactly what he did, reviving family heirlooms in short order (yes, Casios can be precious heirlooms). He is like a time surgeon. He didn’t just simply change the batteries, he reset the electronic mechanisms with a special trick which almost no one knows about. He even replaced a missing looper from one of the straps without extra charge. He cleaned the gaskets and then ran the watches under specialized steam blasting equipment to give them a new sheen on the backs. If I had tried to take these apart myself, theres a fair chance I wouldve ruined them. The place is immaculate, and their true specialty seems to be jewelry repair and original design, as well as clock mechanisms. The Casio repair was something they could do with their eyes closed. We chatted while they focused on work. They’re very genuine professionals who will make your day if you happen into their world. I just want them both to know they categorically made a happy customer.

The guys at Timepiece Watch and Repair are fantastic. They were so friendly and helpful when I came in to get my rings fixed. I wear a set of three, very thin stacked rings continuously, and over the years the bands had warped (side to side) and elongated (length wise). When I brought the rings in, they were able to repair them on the spot, in less than 5 minutes, and when I went to pay, they told me not to worry about it because the work was small and easy. Incredible! What a *gem* to have in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

I have an antique engagement ring that had a diamond loose. I went to a few jewelers and they all quoted long turn around times. I wasnt comfortable leaving such an old ring behind. Thankfully when I called Ruben he was super kind and reassured me they could fix the prongs in front of me. Wonderful local business. I brought an antique clock to be repaired, and it was done with love and care. Went back with an antique watch that I thought was broken and would require an expensive repair, and they fixed it immediately. Also redid an antique silver necklace that came out beautifully. I used to go to 47th street for repairs as I wasn’t sure about local shops, but this place is trustworthy with high quality items.

I took my boyfriends watch here to get it fixed up. Its really old and the metal band and the face were both incredibly scratched up, but its his favorite, so I wanted to fix it up as much as possible. By the time Ruben gave it back to me (all of an hour later!) it looked AMAZING. Honestly, like brand new. I was so impressed Ruben had to show me the machine he has specifically for the purpose of buffing out scratches. He also changed out the glass over the face of the watch, and fixed the clasp so it clicks shut again.I had researched a couple other places before choosing TimePiece that were more expensive, but didnt even seem as legit. I just wanted to share how happy I am working with Rubin at TimePiece Watch and Jewelry Repair. I brought him a family heirloom pocket watch from the 1940s that had not been serviced in at least 20 years. It had a broken part and was not running. Rubin was professional, friendly, and takes real passion in his work! He crafted a new part, fully serviced the pocket watch, and polished it up. Needless to say, it is working well, keeping good time (for an almost 80 year old time piece), and looking fantastic. The level of service is exceptional; Rubin texted me photos of the repair in process, and it was fascinating to see all of the parts in the watch, a well as the process. He also followed up with me post-repair to make sure everything was working properly. I wanted to wait a few weeks before leaving the review to ensure that the watch was continuing to function properly, and happy to report that it is. Ive gotten a watches serviced at other places in the city, both large retailers as well as small shops, and this was by far the best experience Ive had. Would recommend enthusiastically.

I had an issue with a watch closure, and the guy fixed it in a few minutes. Prior to this, I went to at least two other watch repair shops in the city. I was told that it could not be fixed and that I would have to get a new one - which is not cheap. Impressed and I would definitely go back.Update 03/06/2021: Went back to this shop to shorten a metal mesh strap that was too long for my wrist. Carefully done and timely service by Ruben. One that I had worn for years - kinda like my staple for many years... given from my ex partner.
