I have a 1994 Chevy 2500. Needed a transmission. Rear pinion seal and valve cover. I paid 750 for the work. When I got the truck back I noticed the transmission was leaking. And he put silicone to replace the valve. He said it was temporary till it comes back to him. He said he would then replace it. So I called about the leaks and he came and took it back to his shop. It took about a week when I came to get it again it was still leaking. And there was no valve cover still. I called someone to inspect the truck and the rear pinion seal has also not been replaced. I asked for my money back. He said he owes me 65$ IF I CAN PROVE HE DINT REPLACE THE SEAL. I have a bill of sale stating that he COMPLETED all three things. COMPLETED DOES NOT MEAN LEAKING AND FILL THINGS WITH SILICONE. HE IS A LIAR AND WILL CHARGE FOR WORK NOT PERFORMED

Took my car to Daves because I needed my shift solenoid replaced. In the process of getting this issue fixed, he noticed a few other issues with my car. He was great about staying in contact with me and not working on anything extra without getting in touch with me first. He was patient and knowledgeable enough to explain to me in simple terms what was going on with my car and didnt make me feel dumb. He also ended up saving me about $250 compared to the first shop that gave me an estimate on just the shift solenoid. He was quick and got my car back to me faster than I was expecting. Would definitely recommend.

We had agreed on a dollar amount of work to be done. Then Dave tells me that he did MORE THAN three times that amount, and is getting angry with me as he is demanding I pay him in full right away. He had done some work on three of my cars, and after saying he did more than three times the work we had agreed on, he told me he had put a mechanics lien on each of these cars to get me to pay him what he said I owed him. A call to the DMV proved him to be a liar, but this clearly demonstrates his criminal mindset and what length he will go to steal your money. Turns out he didnt even do half of the work that he said he did. He also tried to hold my car keys until I paid him. I am a disabled former Marine, so please note how much he actually cares about veterans. Jacking the price up over 3 times what he agrees on makes a 10% veterans discount not worth anything. He claimed to have replaced a transmission gasket on one car, yet it entirely leaked all the fluid out shortly after; obviously he didnt do the work. Do yourself a favor and avoid him completely. He is a tweeker and a thief, and not to be trusted at all.

First off, his girlfriend Ayla Young is one of his positive reviews. Dave does not have a legal license and is unable to test drive his repairs. Its public knowledge through idaho government website I have caught him in multiple lies, broken promises to pay his bill, and abuse of law enforcement. He has failed to pay a bill for subcontracted work of $67 for months, but called the authorities who arrived at my house and threatened me with grand theft for telling him i would dispose of his items i repaired. His excuse was being a victim of an automobile accident that almost took his life. I took it upon myself to research and find he had been involved in a head on collision in which he was alleged to be the guilty party. During this whole ordeal I came to find he had angry customers and was arrested for Grand theft accusations. The picture is painted. This is clearly a person who does not operate responsibly. Taking your vehicle to him is no less than a risky decision. He sends me photos of money and brags of being financially stable, but has failed to pay $67 multiple times. I have documentation of all these claims along with public record.

I am a single mother of four. My daughters father passed and Im on limited income. I found Dave on a buy sell trade page. He came and took a joy ride in my car and messed up the whole undercarriage and stole stuff out of my van. I did not know this until the next day because he was supposed to be fixing the van. I paid him $230.00 and had him write a reciept out so I thought he was legit. I made several calls and texts to him and he made up lies saying he had a new baby. I called police on him and they said he is a known scam artist. He lives in the most craziest infestation Ive ever seen where he runs his shop from campers. I didnt know this until after the fact. I will be taking him to court and will not give up until justice is served and I have my money back. I promise that. The legal way! RRRRUNNN from this basket case thief.

Worst experience ever . I had a bus load of kids waiting on Dave to show up and even called to confirm he was coming after 1.5 hours and he said he was on his way. It was cold and he never even came out at all. If he had said he was busy I would understand , but he said he was coming and didnt. This is the worst and most unprofessional business in Nampa. I highly recommend you avoid this place/.

When I first met dave, he installed a brand new suspension on my 1991 Honda CRX. He did the job quickly and professionally, and also saved a u-joint connected to my clutch before it went out. 10/10

This guy is a real peace of work. My gf called him to fix her honda odyssey. He charged her for parts and repair. Never did the repairs n took the money and dropped the part off on the door step in the middle of the night. He also stole an iphone from her car. Since weve been tryn to get the money and phone back. This guy today brings his truck over to our house and does a burn out in our from yard. If i was reading these review and thinking of using daves. I would think again and find a better mechanic. This guy dave is a real peace of work.

Scam!!! This dude picked up my bike and was paid for the work, but never completed any work... then told me there was a storage fee from the day he picked up my bike. This guy makes a living off of using people. He holds your vehicle until you pay his storage fee, or until you give up! Then he sells your stuff, or parts it out... very shadyBUYER BEWARE!!!!

Had dave do some work to my 2012 suzuki did wonderful job! Was repaired on time and kept me informed on the whole process couldnt have done a better job!

Dave is one of the greatest mechanics ive ever met. He even helped walk me through fixing a harmonic balanver and let me borrow some.tools all with a broken leg and cast after a serious car accident proving its not all about money which for most mechanics is. Instead dave is an amazing quick and reliable mechanic who truely loves his job and customers

This guy is known in the diesel community for being a liar and a thief, driving around in your rig without a license, and selling stolen items while claiming you abandoned rig. Shady guy.

Just save your money and go literally anywhere else, I paid him every penny I had to my name and my car still has the same Problem. He also stole my belongings out of my car and had a warrant out for his arrest. Called the sheriff to try and get my phone and they arrested him. The whole setup of his shop is questionable its just his front yard. From one genuine person to another please dont go here he doesnt deserve anyone business he is very in professional.
