One of the best neighborhood auto repair shops around. Good service revolves around trustworthy advice, fair prices and convenience. Greiten’s has all three in spades and that’s why I have had them service my vehicles for years. Thanks Kevin for keeping my cars on the road worry-free.

Took my car to a dealer and they tried to convince me it was about to fall apart any minute, wanted 3k + labor for repairs. Took it here, left it overnight and got it back first thing the next day, right as rain. Spent less than a 1/4 of what the other place insisted on. They took pictures of everything they did (no I didn’t need an entirely new transmission, and so on) and gave detailed notes. Honest and straight forward. Can’t recommend them enough.

One of the few auto shops that will not try to upsell you anything. They are very thorough and extremely honest which is unfortunately so hard to find now days. I recommend to everybody and will continue to go back.

I had trouble finding a place that did emission testing and tag renewal, due to Covid. I found this place on google search. I called before I went there to make sure they still offered this service, which they do. The man that answered the phone was very pleasant. I then went there to have it done and I was very pleased. The establishment was very clean and all the people there (Employees) were extremely nice and friendly. It was very fast too, even though they were busy. I think it took about 5-10 minutes.I was expecting to see a dirty place and not very friendly people because that is how most places have been but to my surprise, it was one of the best auto places I have ever been too. I have a usual mechanic place that does the work on my car but I havent been happy with them for awhile now (They have new employees that dont really know what they are doing and they have made some mistakes. I have been wanting to find a different place to have work done on my car and now I have one. I plan to take my two vehicles to Greitens Auto Service when needed to try them out. I was nervous about finding a new place but I feel 100% comfortable with Greitens. 😊

They were so friendly and helpful! Very clear about what the issues with your vehicle are and how much it will cost to repair. On that, the cost is very reasonable and they definitely give you your money’s worth between quality of the repair and service. I will definitely be returning next time my vehicle needs work.

Called. Told them I had a problem with my vehicle. Check engine light was on. It needed service. The guy on the other end initially sounded helpful. But upon asking him further questions he laughed at me and told me he wasn’t sure what I was asking him. Not really professional to laugh at someone who has a question regarding your services.

I chose Greitens after doing some online research. There was almost nothing bad said about their service, and tons of glowing 5-star reviews. The praise is well-deserved. They were courteous, prompt, and reasonably priced. Everything that needed to be done was explained in a clear, no BS, way. I neglected my car because I dislike the dealer; had I found Greitens sooner, I would have been going there all along.

I had a wonderful experience as usual. They were very detailed when checking over my vehicle. The service was very fast. They offered me a ride when I dropped off my car which I didn’t need but appreciated the offer. Everyone is very friendly. They went above and beyond what I went in for. Then even washed my car!!

Best experience at any auto repair shop Ive ever had. Excellent customer service, honest and thorough inspection of my car was completed in a timely manner, I was frequently updated on the status of everything and given expert recommendations. No one was pushy or forced me into anything. Everyone was kind and tried to do their best. Prices were reasonable, actually better than reasonable in my opinion because of how much value was packed into the inspection (photos, notes, even a link I could view).

The website lists emissions testing available but they are not doing the tests currently... waste of time...

I have been going to Greitens for more than 30 years. They always do a great job and are honest, fair pricing and even give you free loaners. Very friendly and service oriented. They even came to my house (as a courtesy) when I had a problem unlocking my car in the dead of winter. I highly recommend them.

Got my car towed here and they were really nice and helpful at first, then I saw mike one of the employees tell a worker to test a cars battery and all the statistics on it came back as it’s a good battery, then mike told him to install a new one anyway and they charged a poor old woman 300$ for a battery she didn’t need since I heard her tell him that she was using it with the car off to charge her phone so the battery actually was fine he was just being dishonest to make another sale when she was none the wiser. And then he preceded to mislead me and waste my time to charge me 140$ an hour to look at my car. I felt completely used and helpless and I hate mike :’( 0 stars

Ive been hearing a horrible noise when I turn my wheel. I had my old mechanic look at it and he couldnt find anything with the noise. WOW, can’t recommend them enough! They were able to fix my brakes, clean my fuel system, and replace my wiper blades for HALF the price originally quoted to me by another mechanic. They work extremely quickly too - had my car ready in half a day. Not to mention they gave me a thank you bag with snacks when I picked my car up. They’ve earned my trust and I’ll definitely be back for any future work I need done!

I was blown away by the excellent customer service Greitens gave and the care they took in ensuring I knew everything that was being done. I went to Greitens Auto on December 31st, 2020, to have my emissions test completed. I scheduled an appointment but got there a bit earlier. The gentleman I worked with got me in before my appointment and had me out in less than 5 minutes. I also discovered the shop works on Volkswagens, so I will reach out to them if I need any additional services performed.

My experience with this place was a bad one and I’m positive that it was racially motivated. I was overcharged $613 just to replace a radiator hose, I was charged $42 for a cooling system diagnosis and told that everything was good but I take my car home and once I drive it the next day and it warms up, steam goes everywhere and all my antifreeze runs out on the ground. Now he says I need a $1900 radiator. I wouldn’t suggest any person of color to patronize this place, u WILL NOT be treated any kind of fair......

Ive brought my car here a few times for various repairs. Mike and Kevin have always been very helpful, professional, and most importantly honest. They do quality work at a reasonable price and dont try to get you to pay for other needed or suggested repairs. Very pleased.

First time customer and was greeted with excellent customer service. Far different from other shops I have visited, I was provided a very thorough inspection report with pictures of the items that needed attention regarding my vehicle entirely. Not only did they prioritize the items using a color coded system green (good) red (need immediate attention) yellow (needs consideration); but all was done seamlessly by text and email! The timeline was a week shorter than as was expected for my repairs and I also paid less then expected bc they managed to find a way to repair and save me money! The staff are always courteous and strive to ensure that no matter which family member (my wife, my son, or myself) understands their cars issue and what is required to make it right. Received a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle I was looking to purchase. I was out of state and requested an in-depth review of the vehicle. I spoke with Mike, he was extremely helpful throughout the process and provided updates along the way. They went above and beyond my expectations for the inspection. Greitens has fast become my go-to auto mechanic! They take great care of my elderly little Corolla and were realistic with me about which repairs were worth it and which could be put off until I can upgrade. Honest is the one word to sum this shop up as.I brought my 2008 Chevy Cobalt in with very little knowledge about cars. These people could probably have taken advantage of that but didnt. They were honest with me and didnt tell me I needed things that I didnt. They also made sure I had a loaner vehicle to use. I know where Im coming for future repairs and maintenance. Thank you guys!

Wonderful service! Unfortunately, our vehicle started spewing oil all over while my wife was driving to work. I had read reviews online previously, just preparing myself so if my wife ever had car trouble while at work, I would know exactly where to take our vehicle. I am here to say that my experience was just as wonderful as the other reviews online. They took our vehicle in, sent us updates with photos and best of all, I was preparing myself to pay double! I was amazed at how quickly the nice people at Greitens got me back on the road. My check engine light was flashing so I pulled in. The nice young man behind the counter took a quick look at my car and I guess he had some sixth sense; because , he popped open the hood and says theres your problem and he pushed on a wire and the car started running better. He said that the connector on the coil had come loose. I greatly appreciate it the help and I was able to make it safely back to Maine. Very nice experience.

Mike was so fantastic to work with- sent me a detailed email with photos of all their findings and recommended fixes. Gave me multiple options for getting my hybrid battery replaced- even called me back when he found a better priced option after I had agreed to go with the more expensive brand new option. Work was done when estimated and car is running great. Whenever I would call, everyone who answered was very polite and professional. Pricing very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Very professional communication; Mike was very clear on what was needed and why. I was pleasantly surprised that i received email describing proposed repairs, and Mike referenced email in follow up calls. They also understood and recognized value of Google reviews; how many repair shops even pay attention? Clean building and surrounds; clean waiting area. I will use them again. I suspect I could get cheaper repairs elsewhere, but Ill pay extra for effective and professional communication, and clean environment.

Great service for new residents of the area. Mike answered my questions about how the weather would affect my car and made recommendations about preventive care to keep my car in shape. I left my car with them in the morning and received an email with photos of the work that needed to be done. I called in confirming what I would like them to do and what the costs would be. I picked up my car in the afternoon after the work was complete.

As usual, we were impressed with the service and care that we got at Greiten’s, as we have been regular customers for many years now. We were leaving to go on a trip and needed some work done on our family van ( which has over 265,000 miles on it!), including an air-conditioner repair. We found that Kevin and Mike helped us get our vehicle done as quickly as possible under the circumstances so we could be ready for our trip. They were reassuring about the work and warranty provided as well.We recently acquired a third car for our son who will soon be driving and we feel confident that Greiten’s will be doing all the maintenance in the future for that vehicle as well.

I relocated to Milwaukee Oct 15. Having worked in the cutthroat auto industry in CA for 10 years, I did my research to find the best non-dealer service shops in town. Kevin & Terri Burkes Greitens topped my very short list. After my first visit, I didnt even bother trying other shops. Ive had a 00 Accord, an 04 Sienna, and a 09 Lexus RX350 serviced. Some of the more significant repair orders (ROs) have entailed AC compressor / relay, CV boot, brakes & rotors, strut / shock suspension, alternator, thermostat, O2 sensors, transmission flush, fuel system cleaning, coolant flush, serpentine belt, power steering belt, water pump, timing belt, and battery. They have loaner vehicles should you need one. Youll receive a comprehensive inspection report via email after your visit. At the desk youll find Mike as cordial and customer service orientated as they come. Quite frankly, its rare to find an establishment that consistently markets itself well while exceeding customer expectations; Greitens delivers.

I may never go to a different auto shop.My 02 Tacoma had an Evaporative emission system leak, and needed a new timing belt, water pump, battery and oil change. I received a very helpful email detailing recommended service for my truck, on the day I dropped it off. I was told it would take 4 days, for all that, and was actually completed in 3. The customer service was excellent, and the price was reasonable.Overall, I am very pleased!

Had a great first visit to Greitens! They do a free inspection on every visit, and I was surprised by the level of detail and pictures that come with the online inspection report. It’s even color coded with their recommendations. Very easy to understand. Mike was very friendly and explained things in layman’s terms to me. Work was done quickly and probably at 50% of the price the Mazda dealership quoted me -brake pads/rotors, coolant flush, fuel induction cleaning, oil change. Wow! I will definitely be back.
