I live out of the state and I am looking at a car at a dealership in Milwaukee. These guys were able to pick the car up from down the street, and do a pre-buy inspection for me, at a decent price! Immediately identified everything that needed to be identified, and let me know over FaceTime. Highly recommend these guys whether you live nearby or live away. (I’m sure they wouldn’t normally do what they did for me but still highly highly recommend these guys)

This is the best place around the south side= ALWAYS professional, always reasonably priced.. Great mechanics. NEVER waited longer that 30 mins! I pray they stay around for another 30 yrs!!!

Went here for simple brake job.. replaced all around brakes and rotors and less than 2 weeks my brakes are grinding I will not be returning for repairs cant even do a simple brake job correctly please dont go here ! They need to take toms name off the business!!First off if I came in there threating to shoot everybody the cops wouldve took me to jail immediately so thats a lie ... And that soab story u told the day before about a customer u had to call the cops on...because u knew those Mechanics are not up top on their performance... Thats exactly why you rehired the old mechanic that was there years ago to train the ones that didnt do the job well on my vehicle!

Ive been coming to Toms for many years and even though he retired it is very important that the name speaks for itself( local trusted auto maintenance garage) the new owner and the staff( same old crew still works there) very professional to take care of all of the regulars and new customers. They have my business for years to come still yet. I recommend this place to anybody who needs work on their vehicles, their prices are reasonable and workmanship is solid as always.

I came in with a check engine light on not knowing what it was causing it. I spoke with Mike and he was able to get my car in the same day to have it checked out. They found out that the problem was with a defective shutter assembly. They were able to get the part ordered and installed within the next business day. I bought a tire recently from them I like that they had reasonable prices but I didn’t like was that when I got it and it was put on the next morning it was flat it airs up but still goes flat fast.

Took in a used car I wanted to buy to get an independent third party look. The guys took great care of me with a test drive, and let me look under the car with them. Then helped me with prices to haggle with. Highly recommend and will come to them in the future for mechanic work.

Unfortunately this is NOT the Toms Auto I am used to going to as a child with my Mom or as an early adult. I was told my car would be done Saturday I called several times. NO communication at all the new owner Mike said in a few hours the piece was the wrong piece around 7pm that night still no car I had to call them was promised a my car by 2pm Sun.So I called around 5pm Sun & NO answer he calls from his personal phone saying Hey u called when I asked for Tom Mike stated since I was rude I can get my car Monday morning. Mind you I need my car Im a frontline worker at at St Francis I only have limited hours to get things done in this high demand right with staff being needed due to Covid. He showed his egotistic attitude when trying to punish me by making me wait yet another day all because I said Tom wouldve at least called me to communicate any inconvenience His excuse was he had a family event to go to and I should be happy they worked on it over the weekend Bashing Tom saying he would have Never done that. Well in reality Tom would have never been so unprofessional. Its truly disgusting considering how much business myself along with family and friends gave Toms Auto throughout the years as because of New Management.In respose. You NEVER stated any of that 1 and your shop opens at 8am I was there at 830.& was told it would be done by 2pm there is nothing ungrateful of my response and I know Tom very well he was VERY punctual & again CALLED TO COMMUNICATE. I understand you have a life as well as I do which is where the frustration comes from. I was told the car would be done no one every stated you would TRY out of your own mouth you said the mechanics will be staying AFTER 4pm to get MY car done which took 2 hours. & again nothing is owed to myself but keep your word. If it was too hard of a task that should have been stated as far as your personal life thats your business that should never be a reason why you can not contact a customer. I posted the call log for a reason. As a customer Im putting my trust in you to finish the job Im paying for WHICH was NOT finished I was told an Oil change as well which was NOT done. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau already on this matter already. The family event was no reason to not call when the car was done youre celebrating with families while Im trying to get to worl to save Family Members after ALL WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC!!!

These are my guys, just got car out of shop. Price always high. Will honor any warranty. Good people, boss sometimes miscalculated wait times. They do damn good work the first time, you dont have to keep running back for the same thing.

Took my sons car in to be looked at. I thought it was a different problem but that wasnt the issue. They had a good turn around timeframe to tell me the issue, talked me through what needed to be done and priced the work spot on. When we picked it up, the mechanic let us know the tie rod also needed to be fixed and jacked the car up to show my son. It was nice to actually see what he was talking about. This is my sons 1st car so hes new to understanding car parts. I know my son will be taking it in by them to be fixed for any and all repairs. Didnt feel like they were up selling and pressuring to do anything more than needed. Thats one discouraging factor I dislike when dealing with places like that.

Toms Auto Maintenance is a good place to go. I go there whenever I need my Tires changed. Otherwise I go to Ray Tanns Tire Service for my tires if Toms is really busy or I dont have the Time. Both places are really good. I recommend both Toms Auto Maintenance & Ray Tanns Tire Service whenever it comes to Tires. Both places have great prices too. I have never had a problem at either place.

Tom is a very honest owner.I trusted him and his mechanics for many years.He will do the best job he canand cost less than those crookeddealers or repair shop.An honest Auto Repair are hard to find.If you find one youre lucky.Tom will try to save you moneyeveryway he can.If he cant fix it , he will tell you right away.Not like others shop that want youto pay something even has no work on your car.Last time I took my car to muffler shop near my house I got estimate of $485.00 for pipe and catalytic converter. I want a second opinionso I drove 18 miles to Tom.Tom use flexible pipe to fix for mewithout new catalytic converter.Total cost $108.00 saved me more than $370 and now more than a year still run great.

They gave me a quote and then tried charging me more once they had things taken apart told me they would reassemble everything and I could pick up my truck and then charged me for thatThey charged me to take my truck apart and put it back together without ever fixing anything when I told them exactly what was wrong with it when it was a simple hose under the guise of an expection fee when like I said I told them exactly the work I wanted donehorrible experience I recommend you stay away from them

Thomas has been my mechanic for years now. I really like this place theyre very helpful the guys are really nice Toms been there for a long time everybody in the neighborhood loves him. My son also takes his vehicle there also.

My Chrysler 300 had so many issues and I had no clue how to explain it! I just knew my right rear tire was slanted and my baby screamed as I drove down the street. I was being quoted tremendous amounts like 2500.00 or over 4200.00 each place I tried! My supervisor recommended Tom. He was very patient and did a full overlook of my vehicle and quoted a beyond reasonable amt for his services!!!! Its been 4 months and still no issues my baby rides like new!! very pleased with the service and the all male staff were all gentlemen and did not make me feel like I was getting coned

Im in a band and we had a show up in Two Rivers, Wi last Saturday, and our truck blew out a tire and they got it fixed and got us on the road in no time, when all other shops were closed. We really appreciate the help they gave us and the price was reasonable.
