As a Hertz Gold member of over 20 years. My business rentals have always been booked out of airport locations. However on 7/5/2021 I originated a one week rental out of MIA Airport. Due to an unforeseen family emergency I found myself in desperate need to return my vehicle on 7/8/2021. This location in downtown MIA was closest to my home. I called immediately over the phone and spoke to rental agent named Ski/Sky who related my situation to his branch manager Mr. Marlon Robinson. I was there in five minutes after making my way to the fifth floor level Return Area where I was greeted by a gentleman called Barbaro. As he notated gas and mileage levels. I handed him the keys and took the elevator to the first floor where the Hertz office is. There i was immediately taken care of by Sky and together with this manager Marlon they were able to restructure my rate to a three day rental and close out my contract. The entire process took less than 20 minutes. What a pleasant experience. Such efficient and professionalism by the team.I truly recommend this location to anyone who needs a rental vehicle last minute or not. They will make it happen. Thank you gentlemen! Keeping with Hertz always high level standards. FIVE STARS!! All the way.

Awful, made reservations months in advance show up at the time I selected they asked if I made reservations I said yes months ago they said I’m the 5th in LINE.... while I’m waiting I keep hearing NO CARS AVAILABLE????? How. If we make reservations you should have a car available... anyways they try to tell me to wait 1 hour or more for a rental car... then try to make me take ANOTHER CAR.. and pay extra for a car I didn’t even want everyone is in there complaining and they keep saying nothing is available do not do place it was awful they told me to write my name and number down for me to come back when a car is available and they didn’t even call me!!! This place is completely the worst thing ever will not be coming back here don’t even book a reservation you’ll be waiting in line just for them to tell you no car available yALL suck. I didn’t come to Miami to sit in a hertz for 15 hours. Unprofessional af.

This used to be my go to when needing an affordable, reliable rental but things have changed. Things have REALLY changed.They have significantly reduced their hours, making it nearly impossible to return the vehicle during open hours and to top it off they do NOT provide a drop box for you to leave the key.Customer service was absolutely no help when inquiring about returning to a different location (MIA) neither location seemed to have staff on hand to take a phone call.Sad to say I will not be returning. I’d be happy to spend a little more for a more organized location.

So my wife and I found ourselves in a bit of a tight spot, not knowing that Illinoiss DMV had switched to a mail system for delivery of permanent licenses that takes three weeks. Tough news when you are supposed to rent a car in two days for your babymoon to the Florida Keys. Marlon, the manager at this location, agreed to not only honor our rental, but to do so even if we tried to rent a car at the airport the night before, on the off chance theyd let us. A super nice guy who went above and beyond the call to help a customer that might not even end up being a customer. Its a rare bit of customer service and a bright spot in the world that I wasnt expecting, so thanks to Marlon for going above and beyond to help out two dummies who werent thinking ahead. :) The peace of mind is much appreciated!

I had a great experience at this location. I was the only one in line. Saturday 12pm pick up. Got a really great car with great features, didn’t expect that. It was very quick. Dropping off was very easy as well. Similar to the airport. I will return to this location.

Terrible and Chaotic. It took 5 (FIVE) hours to get a car. And you have to stay there waiting, because theres a waiting list!! It doesnt care if you had booked 60 days in advance, because there are no cars available.Never again. Stay away from HERTZ MIAMI DOWNTOWN!

It hertz so bad. Okay, this place is pitiful. We had similar experiences to those other reviewers. Wish I would have seen those before I got here. Had one single worker at the counter and far too many of us cruise passengers waiting for cars. Not enough cars, not the right type of cars to match reservations, didnt refuel the cars or clean prior to renting again. They do offer a free shuttle from the miami cruise terminal which was convenient but after our drop off at hertz we regretted every moment after. Had I known the experience we would have I would have rented elsewhere, used rideshare, or hired another shuttle company to take us around. No concern or acknowledgement of our inconvenience, no apology for the hour wait or lack of cars, no offer to make it right, a perfect example of a company that couldnt care less about their customer.

Had a middle eastern guy was great! Very kind. But a light skinned black guy named Markus was there mumbling rude comments. He closed out my car bf it was ready which cause problems and then was very rude. And kept mumbling under his breath I’m not driving him. Never again. I work for a Kimpton Hotel owner and travel a lot. His professionalism left much to be desired.

Avoid at all costs. Like others have said had a reservation at 830am. Showed up at 930am. Took 30 mins to check in. Told no cars available. Still waiting at this time of writing at 11:30 am waiting for car with two people still ahead. This place sucks. Dont take a number its worthless get in line right away.

ZERO customer service! Impolite guy at the desk...booked car through a third party however he wanted me to cancel the reservation because it should have been booked using a credit card not debit car!!not sure how it got accepted to start with! Then he said I have to call myself cancel it and kept looking at the time and said u have 20 mins to do it because we are closing..he didnt even try to help...he kept repeat same sentence that it is not his problem and thats the company,s policy!!a real stupid low IQ employee who should never be allowed to talk to customers...this place should be closed immediately! I wasnt surprised seeing all these negative reviews!Not sure what is worse the policy or this incompetent dude behind the desk! ( he was sitting on the customers bench when I walked in)...WORSE experience ever!!good luck keeping business in this location!

Cant believe this place has still a rating of 3.0 (at the time of this review). My experience had been the same of the previous 1 star reviews. We booked the car en checked in in advance and once we were there, they told us the car wasnt there yet. And that we just had to wait for the car to arrive. They didnt even offer a discount or an upgrade. We had to wait and postpone our road trip with two hours! The shop was filled with angry customers waiting for their car. This is just horrible service and we hope to warn everybody considering a car rental from this place. We will never ever book a car with Hertz again.

Google said it closed at 3pm. We show up at 2:10pm and it was closed up. There was a sign on the door where 3pm was crossed off and 2pm was written in. Ruined our whole trip. We even had reservations. They should have at minimum sent emails or contacted customers who had reservations.

We made reservation and pre-paid for a SUV 3 month ago before our trip, we pre-paid to make sure we will have a SUV when we arrive to Miami, but when we arrived, we were told that there is no car for us, THERE IS NO SUCH THING LIKE RESERVED CAR AT HERTZ. the guy from Hertz told us better to look for a hotel, because there is no any guarantee that we get any type of car that day, what he can do is put us on the waiting list with those customers whose is just booked, I remind him that we already have pre-paid for it 3 month ago,but they were just repeating that there is no guarantee, no his business or interest that we get car or not. Unacceptable! We were with a kid and a baby! How is this possible to happen, I mean it should be like hotel, we reserved and paid, then we should get what we paid am I right?? We asked for manager, a guy came to us said he is the manager, but actually there was no manager that day, liars. And there was another family with similar situation like us BTW, finally after about 3 hours waiting, we were told there is a sedan that we can take, we either accept the offer, take that sedan, or we can leave without a car when they working hours over. Left us no choice. Had to accept it. Hardly to fit our luggages in, (3 luggage big size, 1small, 2bags and a baby stroller). My experience was very bad. No sorry, no apologies, nothing... We reserved it, paid for it, and get nothing. Damn good business. And very important point: the reserved car is not exist. No need to make any prepayments, cause there is no guarantee anyway.

Similar experience as all the negative ones here...totally agree if it was possible to rate negatively i would. Awful experience absolutely no customer service skills to the management roots. Manager overbooked and declined to upgrade the car and bluntly said that he was trying to make money out of me. The other manager in training couldnt be more rude, very unapologetic and pointing at the door telling me here is the door go try at the corner for other rental car services. Absolute shock... all for their overbooking issues which is absolutely not the clients fault.

If there were negative stars I couldnt go low enough. This location is the absolute worst. NEVER rent from this location. This location has all of their direct contact numbers go directly to a general number that you can never talk to a live person. As corporate gold member I literally had to fight with the driver to get on a shuttle from the port of Miami after telling me he gets to decide who gets on his shuttle. He didnt care if got fired. Fast forward to the rental location, incredibly long wait times for everyone, even with reservations. Doesnt matter if youre gold or not. They have little to no cars. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. This will be taken up with my own corporate travel to make sure no one in the company faces what I faced.And watch Lynda provide a boiler plate response like she does to everyone here. This is not a real owner who is in charge of this facility. There is no contact, no follow up or any type of real action being taken at this location. Hertz should shut this location down.

We reserved a car online and arrived on time for our reservation only to be told that we are 3rd on the wait list. Why are you renting cars you dont have?! The employees were nice enough, the lobby has plenty of space for seating while you wait. There is a restroom is gross. Free shuttle from Port Miami had service with a smile.

The Kendall office is hell.They didnt have the car I booked and paid 3 months before . I was enforced to take a taxi from downtown because they told me it was there where it was.Not only was I mistreated by employees there but also thrown out of the office because I took a picture of the paper where my booking was clearly written in order to make the complaint to the company.The situation was disgusting and upsetting.And Im waiting for a company written apology and a full refund of the taxis. Absolutely awful. We had a reservation - paid for and confirmed. We took an Uber to get there from the Port of Miami (they said they have a shuttle but it wasnt running). When we got there - no cars. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful but they simply didnt have any cars. Was told - maybe in 2 to 3 hours. They said that no reservation should be considered confirmed until you actually pick up the vehicle. NEVER HERTZ - STAY AWAY

If I could not rate this place it would still not cover how disgusted I was. In addition to not having cars available (even though I booked months ago) and having to wait with over 30 people for more than an hour, the upkeep on this facility was absolutely horrendous. The bathroom had paper towels (some with feces) piled high and no soap to wash your hands. As a Gold Member I will DEFINITELY be reaching out to corporate about this. Did I mention absolutely disgusted?

Came here today off of a cruise ship via Uber. Saturday morning 9 am with a reservation. I need hand controls, which was on the order. When I reminded the guy at the counter, about the hand controls, you could have heard crickets. Now, dont get me wrong, the guys at the counter were awesome, they were just dealing with way more than they could handle. Within half hour, the office was stuffed with people and suitcases. The counter guys said to everyone, everyone, were very sorry, but this will take be tween 3 and 4 hours. Only 2 guys and 6 work stations in a morning when ships are dumping 20, 000 people. They arent even try at Hertz. Maybe if it was better staffed they would have had the time to notice the hand control order, just way under staffed. Long story short. We waited 2 hours for them to get our car from the airport. Not bad, but could have been done the night before.

This is by far the worst rental experience I have ever experienced. I will list everything in order that it happened.1. After our cruise, we were assured we could just call and request a pick up from port. That was not at all the case. We were left waiting with no instructions on where to wait.2. Their phone number just brought us in circles, when we called to request a pick up. We never got through and just ended up having to wait until they we finally saw a van and had to cram into it (over capacity).3. Their customer support line just sent us back to their local line which just had us going in circles.4. When we finally got in the van, the driver had on gospel talk and I feel that shouldnt have been on the radio.5. When we showed up to the location, we found out they had no vehicles, even for customers who had reservations months in advance. I understand that some cars may come back late, or not at all, but I find it hard to believe that they accidentally overbooked and didnt have cars for nearly 30+ reservations. We were told it was a 2 hour minimum wait.6. The manager (sitting at the gold club desk) was very arrogant and condescending towards to customers who had very legitimate issues. He told us we could always cancel (knowing that we had no other option for car rentals in the state).I do not personally know how their rental system works, but it seems to me that you shouldnt make reservations for more cars than you can actually rent. The whole process is extremely broken and needs to be fixed. Uber or Lyft may be your best option.

BUYER BE WEARY! The rental was great. The pick up was ok and turn in was great. Unlike previous rental agreement there was no street address to return and garmin was confused on the route to take. The only real issue was I paid for a full tank and it was not. I was refunded but the fuel was very low. The amended the contract so I was not liable but did not tell me when I picked up. Then 70 days later I got a bill from FL that I did not do. Make sure you check the time on contract. I picked car up at 09:00... at 08:45 the care was driven on a toll road. Since on the prearranged paperwork it says I picked up car at 08:00 I am on hook for a .50 toll that with convenience fees is over 6:00.

I dont understand why you book and reserve a car for an allocated time slot when they make you wait over two hours to locate you a car (that had to come from the airport).Then they say you will get the GPS and a discount as compensation and charge you fully.Strongly suggest never using this company.

Had a reservation for 9 am got to the front of line only to be told that I am in the wrong line when they had my vehicle. The people behind had stated just to give me the vehicle but they made me go to the back of the other line. Now there are no vehicles for anyone and the manager here is a joke. There is only two people working the desk and this place is full. Even with the gold line empty they won’t process anyone through. I will never rent with hertz again based on this experience.

Poor vehicle selection. Pickup area is the 5th floor of a dark garage. I had to take photos of my ‘brand new’ 2020 car because it had scratches and dings.Upon return they tacked on an insurance charge of $26.99 per day and refused to remove it. Their excuse was that it was in my profile. I confirmed it wasn’t and that I have never accepted their insurance. The Hertz Gold Member line removed the charges for me, but this location is scammy.

I rent all over the country with Hertz and generally have great service. However, this location is a disaster.It started after getting off of a cruise. I called the office to see if the shuttle comes automatically or if I needed to make a request and was told that they needed a request and indicated they would send a shuttle to our ship. Waited over 30 minutes and finally a shuttle showed up but did not stop. The driver saw me try to flag him down but just shrugged his shoulders and kept going. Im assuming (hoping) he had a full van but not sure sure. I called the office back and was told that they have several shuttles out. This appeared to be a lie as I only saw one shuttle the whole time while noticing the Avis, Budget, Enterprise shuttles come by and pick up passengers several times.It seemed futile trying to wait on a shuttle as there were multiple cruises that had all show up at approximately the same time and our ship would be the last that the shuttle would pass. I finally gave up and spent money on Uber to get to the office.Once we got to the office it was a zoo. I got into the Gold Customer line, which was at standstill due to the customer at the front having problems. I thought about getting a number (which is the system for all other customers but noticed that they were serving customer 75 and the next available number was 99). Decided to wait in the current line as I was only about 5 customers back.There were only two reps serving the customers. One serving the Gold line and the other serving all other customers.I finally made it to the counter after about 20 minutes. I will say that the rep that helped me was friendly and I was able to get out of there in just a few minutes but only because of my Presidents Circle status. I truly felt sorry for all the other customers who looked like they had hours of waiting ahead of them to get a car.Im not sure why executives from Hertz are not camped in this office and figuring out a way to make this office run more efficiently for the customers. I did not notice a single happy customer in that lobby.Im pretty loyal to Hertz but would have to say that if anyone is coming in on a cruise ship there has to be better options.

Never book here a car when you come back from a cruise ship!!! Average waiting time for your car 4 to 5 hours. No joke! Luckily we had a nice hotel in Miami Beach and went back in the afternoon. And don’t expect any support from the hertz people at this place. Worst rental car experience I had.

Arrived to location and told they did not have the particular car available but would give a different one of lesser value for same cost. We came here right at open, after we got off our cruise, about an 8 minute drive from the terminal. The guy who helped us out was real nice and friendly and the process was quick and straight forward. We got a basic compact car which was clean and worked well.No complaints here! May have helped that we were literally the first customers, but regardless, I felt the service was excellent.

1 star is too high for this location. We arrived at PortMiami were looking for the shuttle to the rental location, and despite calling the location 8 times, never got an answer. While we were on the phone with the national office, we saw a hertz van drop off others at the airport, we attacked them and were able to get a ride back to the office. Once there, it looks like every cruise ship that dembarked that day had people trying to rent cars. It took over 2 hours to pick up the car we already reserved online. The whole experience made me never want to rent from hertz ever again

Quite possibly one of the worst car rental offices I have ever been too. Staff took forever to complete any bookings Wouldnt take my booking as we were 45 minutes early. Been waiting 2 3/4 hours and still waiting. Customers didnt help - mostly non English speaking with no staff available to understand.

You have to wait a long time to be seen at the counter no matter what your reservation time is. I recommend coming early. This has a long wait and can ruin your schedule if you don’t plan accordingly. Don’t book through them if you can.

This location is a disaster. They NEVER answer the phone. Our insurance company took care of our rental while our car was in the shop, but ultimately Hertz decided to charge us an additional fee for an optional service we did not consent to. We are still trying to resolve this issue & get our money back including deposit.

Yes, a ton of people are cruising out of Miami and it seems like ALLLLL of them are renting from this Hertz location to get there and then to get out. I drove in on 1/8/20 and drove out on 1/12/20. I wish I got names because EVERY ONE of the staff were really lovely Driving in, dropping car, shuttle to NCL was flawless, like clockwork. Shuttle back on Sunday am was GREAT. But standing in the GOLD line for 45 MINS not so much, but they said 3 people called in sick. The male millennial wastes too much time chit chatting with EVERY customer. So pack your patience people and realize when the shuttles are running double time and dropping more and more customers, you gotta wait a bit. But Im planning another cruise out of Miami and I will def use this Hertz location. Hoping they hire more boomers, they have a better work ethic :-)

Great option to rent car in ft Lauderdale and drop off near cruise ships in Miami. Its very tricky to find the multistory Hertz parking garage in Miami. I had to move orange cones blocking the entrance. Service was great though. Id definitely do this again

The worst possible experience for renting a car...no car! Reserved a compact car several days ago, am a #1 Gold member. When I arrived they had NO CARS available besides minivans and large SUVs ($$ gas). I waited 45 minutes, still no cars. As I was walking out, upset by now, they waved a car key at me from the front and asked if I wanted that one. Somehow it magically appeared. And then they said it needed an oil change. But I could have it (at my own risk). I asked how they can accept reservations without having (safe) cars to provide, especially the Saturday morning of a 3-day weekend. I was told that’s why they didn’t have cars - it’s a 3-day weekend. How about preparing for a busy time and providing the one and only service your business is based on? Aaaaargh!

Came in on free shuttle after cruise without a reset. They had a car for us. It did take a long time, about 30 min mostly waiting. They didn’t seem to be in any rush. They did help out many customers with directions and took time the customer wanted. A little more sense of urgency would have been appreciated and given them 5 stars.

Two rentals in Florida. First pickup staff unable to retrieve rental information. They did not have a vehicle on site that was the same as reserved or comparable. Fortunately our 6 people were arriving at different times and airports. Swiitched to an acceptable vehicle at another location. That is the only part that went smoothly. Second pickup took over 90 minute as it was a cityocation. No gold pickup & drive option. 2 of 6 stations were manned (due to staff call offs) one guy seemed more interested sharing life story than in processing customers paper work. Other employee and car detailer/jockey were working their assets off to do what they could with limited staff. They did have the right car though.

Zero stars if possible.Me and about 60 other renters stood in line 1-2 hours to have our names put on another list...for when cars became available. All we were told was its busy for Holidays, we booked 8 months ago. In the 2+ hours I was there I witnessed 3 people leave with cars, all downgrades to original booking. We walked 1/4 mile to Sixt Car Rental, got the vehicle that Hertz was out of although reserved, and were on our way in under 30 minutes.Never again Hertz.This was the downtown Miami Location on 2nd Street.

Sweet people. The location though is very difficult to find and get to, it is in a parking garage on the 5th floor with right difficult turns all the way. So, be fair warned if you have a big car.

Worst experience ever!!!We made a reservation a WEEK in advance. We waited over 40 minutes to catch the shuttle from the cruise terminal to the office. THEN, we check in and we were told we have to wait for the cars!!!!! Yes I said it. Wait for a CAR at a CAR rental location. So we havent gotten the car yet and this is by far the worst experience and service I have ever received at any car rental location.

GO TO AIRPORT Hertz, they are 5-star--I had a reservation and they had no cars. After 20-30 minutes in line they Told me would not give me a car because other customers had reservations. No manager available to help. Would not recommend. I asked them why they didn’t call me and advised we don’t have time to do that. Go to airport.

The facility is a bit tight to navigate specially if you have a big SUV. They have a shuttle van that routinely take customer back and forth to the Port of Miami. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This location was convenient and the customer service was great. Drove from Orlando to Miami to catch a 7-day cruise. Upon arriving inside the building I was greeted by gentleman who recommended I pull in to the side and unloaded our bags into a Hertz shuttle van. From there he drove us not even 10 minutes and dropped us off at a close location to the terminal. While driving us he provided us with tips and showed us where to stand when we returned to get shuttled back to the Hertz location. Sure enough we waited no more than 5 minutes outside the terminal up arrival back. The driver loaded our luggage and we were at the same location and checked out en-route back to Orlando in an upgraded vehicle. Not sure why there are many bad reviews unless this location has improved tremendously.

I rented a convertible through this location to be ready at 8am and paid in advance through credit card points. When I went to the location, they stated that they did not have a convertible available and wouldnt have one until 2pm. They said that a reservation does guarantee the car that you order (which is EXACTLY what a reservation should do). They ended up giving me a car that was not worth the same amount. While they did try to make some adjustments, it did not amount to the difference in the rental price of the cars. When I called Hertz customer service they said that since an adjustment was made on sight, they couldnt make another adjustment. They later stated that they COULD make and adjustment but they didnt feel right doing so. I am so disappointed in Hertz and will never be using them again.

I hate to give bad reviews, but this place totally deserves it. Although the staff, I have to say, was extremely nice, even though they were short staff. I reserved a standard SUV it was supposed to be a Chevrolet Equinox, Toyota Rav4 or similar (watch out for that similar word with Hertz, you may end up with anything they please to give you) it was described as if you could fit two big luggages and two small in the trunk. Well, with the car they give me I had a standard luggage and two small ones and I could barely fit them. I rented the car for a trip to Texas with my two daughters and my husband. The girls were very uncomfortable all the way since I had to put a small cooler (and leave mine home) and the stuff that didnt fit on the truck on their feets, making the already small space even smaller. I have to say the car was nice and KIND OF CLEAN (I found cigarettes on the cup holders and receipts from previous customers) I did save a lot on gas, which was not my main concern. When I pick the car, they had no staff available to assist me and no cars available either. When I came back, there was no staff available again. The girl told me we will email you the receipt, I asked her, what do you mean by that? And she said, I am sorry we have no one to check your car now. At this point I was upset again. It was my first and last time renting from Hertz.

I was told that no cars available, but if I wanted to order a online, that it would be 2-3 weeks before I could rent a car. Stormed out!Probably good to have an existing reservation.......

A Miami special: Ab official line and an unofficial line which seemed to get the preference . Very long wait. No guidance from staff. Just one guy in whole place. Would not recommend. No one at the #1 Good counter. 9AM on a Monday. And, of course, nobody in the parking lot to let you out.

This is a great drop off, or pick up from the PORT OF MIAMI. If you are taking a cruise, then you can get a car form the airport (Any FL airport) and drop it off here. Cheaper than a shuttle, and if you have the extra day, you can go shopping before the cruise.Same idea, but in reverse after the cruise.Long line to pick up or drop off, not really wel organized, but very close to the ship, and free shuttle to/from the port.

We took the shuttle from the port to pick up a car that had been reserved weeks ahead. There were a lot of people waiting to pick up rentals. We waited well over an hour, and they had only processed about 4 rentals. The sidewalk in front of the place was lined with people making other arrangements.

Awful experience post cruise. Impossible to get shuttle because they are too small and dont run often enough. After hour and a half had to take a taxi so we werent late. Fuel tank not full in car. Backseat filled with trash. Will never rent from them again post or pre cruise.

We hired a car from here to drive to Key west from miami. The staff is really helpful and polite. Our Amex discount coupon expired a day before even then the guy at the reception gave us a really good discount. Suggested us to take a navigation phone which had unlimited data and we could connect our phones as well just for additional 20 dollars. We returned the car around 14:30 but were not charged for the day.

I generally dont like to write reviews. I do them few and far between. However, I felt it necessary after reading so many positive and negative reviews about this particular location. It did leave me with some concerns about utilizing the location. That being said, after using their services, I would absolutely do business here again. My family and I flew into PBI the day before our cruise, and drove down in our Hertz from the PBI location (also they did a good job). We dropped off our vehicle, and the attendant was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. He let us park the car in the bottom drop off area, and helped us unload our very large SUV and move the bags to the travel van. He also even offered to drive us over in the rental to keep us from moving bags. However, there was not enough room to add the driver plus us. The checkout process was painless. The attendant took the contract that was left in the center console, checked us out remotely. I dropped some type of paperwork off inside, and we were off. They had actually finished loading the travel van before I was even done checking the car in. Also, there was no line. There were two attendants actively taking care of two customers. They noticed I was dropping off the car, and took my paperwork in about 5 seconds, and I was done. This trip occurred in June of 2018. Now I understand that not everyone had a pleasant and easy experience. It would be nonsensical to write negative reviews about a place when the experience was not actually negative. I dont know if those issues were in the past, or perhaps isolated. However, I can say that our experience was very positive to the point I found it necessary to write a review for people considering using this location as a drop off to get to the cruises. For four adults, and our baby the process was painless and pleasant.

Horrible experience with this company from the port of Miami. Called from port and asked to get a shuttle so we can rent a car. Website showed multiple cars as did Expedia. Got a shuttle to hertz on 2nd street and waited in line for almost 45 minutes. Finally got to counter and the lady said no cars. Website and Expedia still listed cars for rent. Lady was rude

Unfortunately, due to the fact that my valet crashed my Mercedes, I was forced to get a rental here. The first car that they gave me was a horrible Nissan that had a big dent on the side. They kept insisting there was no other car. It was only when I went to the parking lot that I saw other available cars. I had to beg and plead to get a decent car as it was going to be used for my business meetings. The whole experience was nerve recking. I must have spent two hours waiting around. I would never ever use this service again.

Had a reservation made through my company, went to the Gold Members only line and because my company didn’t make the reservation as a Gold Member (even though I showed her I am a Gold Member) she made me go to the back of the standard member line. Wasn’t nice about it and didn’t give a rip.
