I had an appointment for 10am, and they said it would be ready between 1-2pm, but it wasnt ready until 3pm - apparently they washed someone elses car before mine that was supposed to be done after mine. Thats annoying, but whats worse is that they didnt call me to tell me there was a delay.They did a great job with most of the car, but they didnt wash or wax the roof of the car, and they didnt wash the side mirrors. The roof still had lots of grime on it, and for $200 I expect for the roof not to be covered in grime (see picture of roof).

My car looked amazing afterwards! Its a bit pricey, but well worth it for the job they do. I will definitely return!

Very unsatisfied with my full truck detail. I had to clean bottoms of seats which still had marks and inside of console wasnt cleaned at all. I also needed to clean along windows and trim which was still filthy. They didnt clean of sensors on bumpers!!! I had to clean truck bed and Ram boxes. I asked them to make my truck look brand new, its only a year old and barely used. They failed. At $200, I could have done a better job myself at a self serve place. Very dissapointed. They were polite and nice, but I will not recommend for that price.

They were very polite and professional and even kind enough to get my car in next day and to stay 30 minutes after close so I could pick up after work. They did a good job cleaning but the car did feel a little greasy afterwards and they did loose inserts for my cup holders etc.

I was very clear when I dropped my truck off on what’s included, I was told they do a very detailed job. When I get there to pick up my truck, the specific places I asked fo be cleaned wasn’t. The wax was still on the truck in some places. There were wax spots, the dash was half way cleaned. At that point I grabbed a cloth and finished the job myself. The two guys I spoke to came out and helped. I was so very disappointed because I usually detail my car on my own. I spent the money because I am to busy. After I finished cleaning my own vehicle, they charged me the full price! Go elsewhere, I am not sure what the east side location does, but the west side was horrible.

Steve and the whole team at Capitol Car Cleaners are really great. I have an older luxury model vehicle that they make look “young” again with the combination of interior and exterior auto detailing. They make it enjoyable to get back in my car again after the long winter. AAA +++ service, the best. Thanks guys !

Made an appointment to get the seats and carpets clean in a truck. Dropped it off, and had a conversation with the employee. The employee assured me it’d be done that day. As the day ended I did not hear from them so I called. The owner informed me the employee had misunderstood our conversation and thought I was coming back next week. When the employee said it’d be done that day. I let it go, the owner said come a few hours later to pick it up and it’d be done. I arrived at the time like planned, and nothing was done. I called the owner wondering what the deal was and got a “I’m sorry to hear that” I’m not looking for free stuff. I’m very principal driven, and any effort to resolve the situation would’ve went a long way.

I’ve taken my car a couple times here, both times for exterior details. Fair price and great attention to detail for people that don’t need their car to be auctioned to a collector. My most recent visit was after a 4000 mile road trip, where I believe I ran into at least one bug per mile. I was amazed that every last bug was gone after the detail. Great work!

Took my car there for interior detailing - incredibly fair prices and they do an excellent job! They charged me 20% of what Mister Car Wash in Madison would have charged! I’ll recommend them to all my friends for car detailing. I’m sure they do really well at their other services as well!

I liked it. They did a pretty good job for what we paid. My first time getting a vehicle detailed. There were just a few things I thought were either missed or overlooked when they did my car.

I recently brought in my 2010 Ford Mustang to be cleaned inside and out and I couldnt be happier with the quality and attention to detail that Steve and his team put into my vehicle. I was impressed by how accommodating they were with finding a time that worked best for me to drop off. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality detailing service.

Steve is great with customer service, and the guys did a great job. Not only that he was nice enough to schedule me on the same day, but because they were not very busy, they had two people working on the car, so I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Only regret is that I didn’t take some before and after pics so you guys can see the differences.

Not super impressed with the attention to detail. After I picked it up I had so use goo gone to remove some sticker residue from the windshield and scrub the coffee stain out of my drivers side mat. Seems like things that should have been taken care of during the detail cleaning.

Took in my wifes vehicle that had not been professionally detailed for at least five years. Once detailed by the owner and his staff, the vehicle exceeded my expectations. The interior and exterior look amazing. Pricing was very reasonable and the vehicle was ready when promised. I would definitely take in my wifes vehicle again and I look forward to taking in my own vehicle.

Incredibly disappointing. I brought my truck here for a detail after my carpets got wet one weekend. I asked the shop to pay special attention to making sure the carpets were dry.$230 later I went to get my truck back. There was still mud everywhere. There was a nickel sized splotch of mud on the passenger mirror. Streaks of mud on the seat trim. Dirt on the steering wheel. Even the rear view mirror wasnt cleaned. The only sign that the truck had been cleaned was the wheels and the seats.In addition to not doing the job that was paid for, Capitol made my problem worse when they cleaned the carpets. My carpets were soaking with more water than when I brought the truck in. I used several bath towels to soak up the water when I got home, and my truck continued to drip muddy water from the floor boards for days after.As if a lazy detail and ruined carpets werent enough, Capitol also forgot to put my tools and personal belongings back in my truck. They didnt even say anything until I called them after hours asking where my personal belongings were.The cherry on top was Steves attitude toward the whole situation. I did not want them touching my truck again, so I went to negotiate a refund. I believe that from the above, a full refund would have been fair. When I brought this up, Steve basically laughed at me and told me he thought a $40 would be fair. I settled for a $100 refund only because it wasnt worth spending another minute in this awful companys office.

Their service was prompt and they did a good job detailing my sedan. The car seats were just a little wet during pickup or I wouldve given them 5 stars. It was not soaking wet by any means and I will use their services again.

Did a great job detailing my groomsmans minivan so he could haul us around on the wedding day. He has four kids ten and under and a Lab-German Shepard mix, so getting it sparkling clean was no easy feat. Easy to make an appointment and the cost was much cheaper than I thought it was going to be. Well worth it. I will be back!

Got my car nice and clean with good service but then it was wet for almost a week and my car started smelling like mold. They need to do a better job drying things.

I had Capitol Car Cleaners clean and detail my Ford Edge and they did a great job on the exterior, so top points in that regard. The negative came with the interior, everything was spotless but the carpet was damp throughout the interior when I picked it up. I did point this out to the manager who insisted it was so humid in the warehouse that they couldnt get it 100% dry. It was no surprise that after a couple of days the car smelled musty inside. For the money I would have expected a higher quality service and even though they did a splendid job on the exterior, Ill probably try another business next time.

After they cleaned my car (Nissan Rogue), the struts that hold up the hatch no longer worked. The hatch unexpected slammed down on my wife! We called and they said it was like that when they started. Yeah right! It worked fine for us the morning we dropped it off (Im 100% on this because we had to get into the hatch to take out car seats). Never going here again. You shouldnt either. 1. They messed up. 2. They wont take responsibility for it. If they owned up and fixed it, this would have been a 5 star review. No trust, no accountability. Mistakes happen, fine, but you need to own it and make things right.

Great local shop to take care of your car. I recently had my car detailed and cleaned in time for winter. They got the nasty salt off the floor and even removed a stain that had been in the car when I bought it 6 years ago. I had purchased new WeatherTech mats for winter and they were happy to put them in for me too. Friendly service and awesome result.

I took my Mazda 3 here to get the interior detailed and they did an absolutely fantastic job. My cars interior has not been detailed in several years and the dirt and salt had really built up, so I was concerned it might be quite a bit of work for them. But, when I picked my car up, it was completely spotless.Also, they allowed me to drop my car off before 8AM when they open. They close at five, and I was running late, but they very happily offered to wait an extra 10 minutes so I could pick up my car. The customer service is as wonderful as their detail service.

I called to see if they could do a specific cleaning job on my seats which are leather with suede inserts and spoke with the owner directly. He was incredibly accommodating and offered to clean my seats the same day. There was a coffee stain on one of the seats and they removed it impeccably. I would definitely return.

Never have been dissatisfied with the work before. But for a inside and out detail today, I got a full cab of leaves blowing in that where still in the sun roof. My tires and rims looked great, but there was still dirt on the tops of my fender that I could wipe off with my finger tip. Even a low pressure hose could have got this off. Had a few stickems from hunting still on the inside roof when I checked it out after I got home as well. I picked them off, why didnt you?

They were able to get me in the day after I called. I desperately needed the interior cleaned for stains and an odor. They did a phenomenal job! I also have two Jack Russell Terriers so theres been white hair all over my black interior. They managed to get all the hair out! Dont even want to let my dogs in the car again. Overall, would definitely go back for their services and recommend to others.

They are very friendly and got me in the next day. They also gave me a rental car to use to get to work. Price was great, and Im very happy with the thoroughness of the car. Im definitely coming back.

My 2007 Highlander was thoroughly cleaned and detailed. Well worth the money that I spent on their service.

The quality of their work beats the average, but for the price I was expecting a lot more. They left the car outside so when I picked it up there was already a noticeable layer of dust/pollen on the car. When picking up my vehicle they were late by a few hours, after I confirmed with the owner multiple times on the time, forcing me to taxi back and forth a few extra times because they couldnt keep their times.

Great job making our Murano look like new. Reasonable prices too.

I took my Hyundai in for an interior detail. I had spilled coffee on the passenger seat. That stain had set in. I also have a large dog that had gotten dog hair and stains all over the back seat. After Capitol Car Cleaners was done with my car, all of the stains and the hair were gone! It looked like a brand new car again. Their customer service was great. We will definitely be going back here!

I wish I would have taken before and after pictures, in order to do this post justice...I have a musty old German Shepherd, who sheds his body weight in the back of my car. Every single hair gets woven into everything. Its basically a stinky second-carpet. I am thrilled theyve done such a fantastic job, no hair/no smell. Not only did they provide their flawless work, but the customer service is unparalleled. The customer service was outstanding, they did great work, but the cost is beyond reasonable for the job they did. Ive used a local-chain carwash to do my detailing, but after having things stolen, and the car just not cleaned well, I didnt want to go about doing that again (CCC was much cheaper, and substantially better work).I wont go anywhere else in the future, and you shouldnt either.

I dropped my 2004 Chevy SSr off to be detailed on Friday March 28. I brought it over directly from the winter storage facility. It was raining and I was using the wipers. When I picked it up at the end of the day the sprayers attached to the wipers had the clamps broken off and they were hanging by the washer hoses. I originally thought they detached them while cleaning, and I asked the owner to reattach them. He said he was not mechanically inclined and suggested that I have Oreilly auto parts reattach them. Oreillys had no idea of what to do and I ended up going to a dealership. Dealership said clamps were broken and part no longer available and needed to replace entire wiper assembly- 300$ Called owner- steve and he said to contact him after I went in. Stopped in person and was confronted by the person that did the detailing and was told he didnt break them. Did not engage and asked for Steve to call me back. In addition the back of the truck was not detailed. Employee told me that Steve told him not to detail it as there was something in the back. Yes- a car cover from the storage facility I was bringing it from. They did not call me or attempt to take it out detail and replace it or ask me to take it out. So approximately 500$ for a learning experience as I cannot get him to return my calls or requests. He told me he details for many dealerships- I have talked to several friends that work at the dealerships and asked them how they would feel if their cars were returned damaged and half detailed- I wont repeat what the response was. Im not asking for anything I am not entitled to. A full detail and a refund for the wiper assembly I had to replace. I work in a customer based service industry and I hate giving a bad review, but I am getting no satisfaction from them so I would have to say- do not give this place your business. Sad, because they have pretty good reviews and I have had blinds done there before as well. I also have 2 other vehicles I had planned to have detailed as well.

Just had our 2000 Toyota Camry cleaned....I didnt think the car could ever be that clean again. Awesome job and affordable.

Car was not cleaned properly. They went back and recleaned the areas that were missed but still left behind streaks, smudges, fingerprints and water spots. Not worth the $180 that I spent. I will not be returning.
