Nice adoption facility holding limited amount of dogs, while most of the dogs under their care are at fosters through their expensive network.Amazing, caring, passionate and experienced staff, and they offer plenty of volunteering opportunities.Love the crew and the pups here and Ill adopt soon as I have an opportunity

I started volunteering here about two years ago by walking dogs for about 25-30 minutes around the block. I liked that they offer a training here beforehand for all volunteers to provide more awareness and guidance. The staff who work here are friendly, kind, and helpful.I recently just started fostering a dog from here about two weeks ago, and their process is very organized and well run. It’s easy to apply, they provide all supplies, instructions, and they always get back to me when I have questions.I would definitely recommend checking this place out for any dog adoptions or fosters!

This was where we found little Boo II he was at the front desk the minute we walked in it was meant to be thank you for bringing joy back into our life we love little Boo II so much he lives in a very nice golf course and has out on a few pounds gets fresh made chicken special made every day we love him so thank you guys

Updated 6/14/21Georgie is settling in so nicely with our family. JJ her foster mom and I where able to keep in touch and chat often about our shared Love for this beautiful German Shepherd. Tomorrow is Georgies 1st birthday. We cant wait to celebrate with her. My son and I will be making her a penutbutter n banna cake her favorite. Tha k you for all the wonderful work you all did. It made this adoption possible.This Saturday we will be going to Meet and Greet Georgie our hopefully forever Doggy Ana has been soooo great throughout this whole process. We had such a great experience meeting one of their dogs and being able to introduce our dog to see if they were a match. The team was so patient, with dogs and humans alike, and their expertise was evident.

We had the best time for their. I took my daughter to read to the dogs before they were getting ready for an adoption weekend. It was the most beautiful thing to see all of the children sitting on little chairs next to a dogs reading to them which gave them such a calming effect. Then after they read they went into this one area where a staff member came out and educated them on how to take care of animals and what goes on at this shelter. This was probably 1 of the cleanest shelters I had ever been to

I am really disappointed by the way I was treated when I found a puppy that I wanted to adopt. I raised a dog for 10 years I adopted as a puppy before she passed away due to cancer. It took 2 years to decide to adopt again. I filled out an application and I was accepted to come and see a bunch of puppies that were in foster care. When I found the puppy that I fell in love with they told me because I work full time they would not allow me to adopt. I feel that I was prejudged because I was going back to work. I had taken time off work for a month so I could have time to spend with the puppy, get her acclimated, and work on the dog sitters. It was heartbreaking having to walk out of there without the dog I wanted. Everyone works and I know the needs of a puppy. I had to go back to work with a baby as a single mother and I raised a successful daughter. They acted as if I was not prepared to take care of a puppy. I’ve never been so disgusted by a dog shelter plus, the puppy was not free, they were charging over 500 dollars for her that I was willing to pay. I was trying to figure out what I did or said that gave them the impression I could not take care of a puppy. I’m a nurse and well qualified to care for a puppy. I never write negative reviews about any place but this bothered me so much that I want to warn anyone that is single and wants to adopt a puppy that you pretty much need to lie. Tell them you work from home.

Hi! My husband and I adopted Red about 2 months ago. The whole process was really easy and great, we felt taken care of and supported when choosing to adopt him. Its crazy how quickly time has passed since red has been in our life. We are sooooo enamored with him and are so thankful the people at wags and walks felt strongly that we should see him. We are so lucky and so thankful. thank you all so much!

AMAZING place. The energy in there is so welcoming. You can tell they really care about the dogs and customers. Bonnie is wonderful! They also do same day adoptions which is great. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to adopt.

False advertising.. not a true rescue.. prices range just like any pet store.. so much red tape.. we drove an hour.. hoping to see their pups.. we filled out the app.. then the interview.. at that time we were told we wouldnt be able to see any of their pups.. and couldnt adopt unless we neutered our 1 pound Chihuahua..who suffers from seizures.. ridiculous place.. we walked out and went to the nearby shelter.. after the shelter..we went to 3 additional nearby rescues.. none had a problem.. or red tape..we where able to walk in and look at their pups.. if you want to rescue a dog.. skip this place.. go to the other nearby true shelters..

A wonderful facility with personnel that really care about the animals so much so that they actually care about who they go to. We adopted our dog from there and she was wonderful and exactly as described. I recommend this place to anybody who wants to get a dog, at the very least you should consider it.

Nice facility, great staff, amazing dogs! I recommend you make a reservation on weekends as they get busy on those days. We havent chosen our pet just yet, but I like their approach and process, easy and friendly.

Ive been volunteering here for a few months now and its such an amazing organization, I cant sing its praises high enough. The people and pups are beyond awesome. Its extremely well run, professional, personable, very volunteer-focused, you feel like part of the community, appreciated and you are definitely doing some good for the dogs! The facility is top-notch & extremely welcoming. Come on down and take a look at the pups if you are interested in adopting or volunteering :) The adoption fee goes straight back into saving more dogs. Money well spent!

Very good place. Very helpful people there. Take remarkable care of the animals. I got a sweet heart dog. Had all his shots, altered & with a chip. My other dog & I love him.

Food was good. Drive thru service is slow. Their all meat breakfast burrito is great. Got 3 meals out of it.

Mikayla helped us finally find a dog. We have been searching for over a month and lots of dogs are being adopted during the pandemic. She was so helpful and professional Mikayla took the time to answer any question we had. She didnt find a dog we wanted, but she did find the dog we need while making sure the dog would be in a great home. I will be reconmending Wags & Walks to anyone that is looking to adopt.

This place is the absolute best. The staff is wonderful and they really care about the dogs and finding them homes where they and the owners will thrive.If you aren’t at a point to adopt yourself, you can still get your pup fix by volunteering to walk the dogs any day of the week.
