I have been to Cat Cafes from the East to the West coast.This one is the best! From the catio, to the staff, to the cats.The staff is an integral part of the operation and their care of the cats and visitors is second to none.One only has to watch the positions the cats sleep in to determine their comfort here.I am impressed with the speed with which the residents get adopted and at the same time, because of the intuition of the staff, it is divinely inspired which cat goes to which family. It is impressive.The staff are so informed as to the history of each cat and are quick to investigate what they dont know. They are equally observant and fast acting when a cat has a minor physical change that may mean extra care.Look no further. This IS the cat cafe you want to visit.All my love to the staff and cats for taking exceptional care of me while visiting for over a month. It really became a home away from home because of them. My chances are slim in returning simply because of my work but if I have the chance, I will come back if for no other reason than I know I have a place to come and experience the unconditional love of the cats and staff. It doesnt get any better than that!!

Great cats and kittens with very friendly staff! Came with my sibling who was looking to adopt, while I was looking to just pet some cute cats.All of the cats were very friendly and its clear that they were chosen carefully as ones who warm up to strangers quickly, so theres little concern of scratching given that youre not being rude to any of the cats.Kittens were separate from the rest of the cats, so if looking to adopt you can go right to the section youre looking for. They had a ton of information about the cats, and all of the workers were very well informed on each of the cats personalities and habits. There are kittens, bonded pairs of cats, cats who would prefer to have a friend with them or already in the house, and cats who prefer to be an only pet-- basically a good match for any person looking to adopt!My sibling also was very happy with getting to meet the cats before choosing who theyd like to apply to adopt! Adoption applications are run through the Stray Cat Alliance who they partner with.

Cute place, very clean and spacious...the roof top patio or catio is a nice touch...staff is very helpful...and most importantly all the cats and kittens look really happy there ^-^

Loved this place! More of an adoption center than a cafe but a wonderful idea nonetheless. Very sweet and playful kitties and the staff were social but gave us space to play.

Really fun and great place. I didnt get any tea or coffee but service was great. They walked around and talked to us about names and stories of cats.

Its a fun place to sit and play with rescued cats, perhaps even get a nice drink. They have rescued cats, fully taken care of and ready to adopt. Was quite a treat to visit here.

This place was a nice little diversion for a Sunday afternoon. For a fee/donation, you can drink coffee and play with cats. We went there with a mind of adopting but so far havent made a firm decision. All of the animals were clean and well cared for and the space was bright and airy and afforded many cat-friendly hiding spots and spots to lie around and be cats. Highly recommended for cat lovers.

I wish I lived in California, I would totally have adopted any one of these cats. I am from New Jersey on vacation but I totally recommend. Beware though, that hour goes by quick to just relax and or play with cats. My girlfriend had a blast!

The place is quiet when we got there last week, all cats seems to be quiet but as soon as you started playing with them, its non stop fun. Likelyhood to recommend and definitely will visit the place again.

This is a fun place for cat lovers to spend some time with cute cats in need of loving homes. We came in June of 2020 and the staff made sure we took followed social distancing guidelines. The cats here are so lovable and the staff here are very friendly and helpful as well. Please support this nonprofit!

The people working here are amazing. They truly love cats and give them the Best of everything. They personally helped me with four 11 week old baby boys that needed placement asap before my surgery that I was fostering, but not for a Rescue. Every Rescue is swamped right now because of neverending litters. There are so many unwanted , unloved and neglected cats living on the streets. Rescues help as much as they can. People like myself volunteer our time and love. I highly recommend this place. ❤❤

Although I love cats I dont think this kind of business is a good idea. I saw about four kittens with a cold/sneezing. Its only a matter of time before the rest get sick.

If you love cats then this is the place for you, or if you dont love cats but want to experience how truly wonderful and peaceful they are then this is also the place for you. My 17 year old son had been asking to go here for quite some time. I finally surprised him and my 11 year old with a 90 minute reservation to the CatCafe Lounge. They were very excited and looking forward to their cat date as they called it. The $25 per person for 90 minutes was definately reasonable and worth it. We got to see many different cats. Black cats, tuxedo cats, orange and white cats, tigerish cats, and a beautiful white cat with blue eyes (her name was Blue of course). There was young cats and older cats. They were all pretty content but as we know cats will definitely let you know if they need some space so you have to be mindful and respectful of there space. The 90 minutes when by very quickly, which told me my boys and I enjoyed ourselves. They have many cat toys for you to play with the cats. Also complimentary tea and coffee. They also have a few snacks and treats for you to buy and enjoy while you have you 90 minute cat date. We.played with a few of the cats, and of course a lot of them were cat napping. We left feeling great we got our cat fix and help some adorable cats with socialization to hopefully be adopted. Definitely worth every cent!

Place was small but I love the set up they had for the cats! Unfortunately I went at the time the cats love to nap which was the afternoon but they all loked happy I just wish I was able to take a cat home because they were all adorable! The staff was great they treated the guests kindly and treated the cats with so much love. You can adopt a cat if youre really interested in them.

It is a delight spending time with the kitties. They are nice and playful but many of them do not trust humans. Anyway, a beautiful spot for cats that you can also adopt.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful and all of the cats were absolute sweethearts. They were in the process of setting up the cafe so no drinks were available but that didnt bother me at all, I came for the cats and was not disappointed.

TALK ABOUT KITTY HEAVEN.when I die this is where I want to end up. We had a wonderful visit just playing with the kitties! The place is very neat (in both the cool sense and tidy!) And unique. If I was local Id be coming here weekly.The cats are so fun to play with and the entry fee is technically a donation, i think. The staff who helped us were so nice and you can tell they care for all the cats. We made a good amount of small talk with them. Also the catio is gorgeous. They are worth the support.I love cats.

Not enough cats. We were expecting more cats but were disappointed. Not going here again. Decided we will do this only in Japan to see if its any different. The cats were cute tho. So if youre ready to adopt this is a good place.

A fun little date to spend an hour with a few handfuls of cats. Place is neat and organized and has a snack and drink bar before entry. You are allowed to pet all of the cats (even the sleepy ones!) But it is advised to not pick any of them up. A must for cat lovers!

Ive been to a ton of cat cafes all over the US, and Cat Cafe Lounge is my favorite by far! Its spacious and the decor is always cute, but most importantly, the cats (who are all adoptable!) are so happy and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They really care about doing whats best for the cats! They also have fun events all the time, like movie nights and bingo, and stuff like discounts for study sessions if youre a student, so following them on Instagram or Facebook is worth it for both the cute cat photos and announcements about fun stuff coming up! If youre thinking about visiting CCL, go go go! Youll love the cats, and youll have a great time!

Wonderful experience! I love the whole idea that these cats get to live in a tranquil, catified enclosure instead of a stressful shelter - till they are adopted. The place is incredibly clean. You can eat off the floor. So be suspect of anyone who says otherwise. Will definitely come back for a kitten event.

About the cost of a movie day, and the proceeds go toward supporting the cats! If youre a student, you can get 4 hours for $30.Each visit comes with a free drink: tea or coffee. Premium drinks and merchandise are available for a charge.CatCafe Lounge occasionally hosts fun events. For example, on Superbowl Sunday, they hosted a Kitten Bowl viewing party. They set up a projector and some TVs to display the Kitten Bowl while attendees could cuddle up with the cats and kittens available in the cat cafe. They have also hosted comedy nights and kitten parties.Overall, I think this is a wonderful establishment and I love spending time there. I am happy that the cat cafe not only provides a venue for the cats and humans to interact, but also gives the cats an opportunity to get adopted and find their furrever homes. A worthy cause!

Went on a Monday and arrived early. They let us stay longer than the 45 mins since there were no other parties scheduled that day. Friendly staff member. Cats of different ages and alot were playful and friendly. Very few shy cats. Would definitely recommend and go again

Peaceful cafe to spend time with amazing cats

So great!! This place is cool, clean, and fun! You can sip on your coffee or tea while lounging and playing with cute little kitties. There is a $25 fee for 90 minute reservations that goes towards taking care of the cats and other fees. They are partnered with Stray Cat Alliance, and are essentially a permanent foster home for cats. I adopted two of the sweetest, most amazing kitties, Lola and Jack (formerly Annie and Crypton), and it was a great adoption experience. Its an awesome place if you want to really spend some quality time getting to know the cats before deciding on adoption. I know my time was well spent! The managers and workers are so kind and knowledgeable and helpful (shout out to Rita!!). This is such a special place. The cats are so well cared for, have a unique opportunity to be socialized and nurtured, and they have all been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. I highly recommend this place!

We attended for the Kitten Bowl event and had a great time. Of course, the kittens were adorable. The cafe has a lot of great adoptable adult cats, which we will be back soon to spend more time with to help us choose who we will be adding to our family. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and gave us some great information on the cats personalities and preferences to help us find the best fit. Our experience was excellent and wed highly recommend the cafe for both potential adopters and cat lovers. The only thing I would say was not perfect was that the coffee was not good (full of grounds). Definitely stick with the tea options, which were much better.

This place was the first cat cafe I ever went to and I absolutely loved it! We orginally just had some free time on our weekend in Venice we were looking to fill but we loved it so much we ended up coming back the next day! The cats were so much fun to play with. The place had lots of space and comfortable seating and the decor was so cute. I think this is such a great way to socialize rescue cats, get to know your future furry friend and its nice knowing the proceeds are going to a good cause! Highly recommend!

Ive been away from home and my kitties for over a month, I loved that I was able to make a same day appt and cuddle, pet, and play with many adorable cats, a kitten even fell asleep purring in my arms.

Their cats are cute but be aware sometime they could be pretty aggressive.

Came in just because Id always wanted to visit a cat Cafe. I figured I would drink coffee and read. The book never got opened. Each cat looked different and were doing different things--even sleeping differently. Each had their own distinct personality.When I walked out I felt like Id been at the beach all day

A great service provided by a selection of professional and knowledgeable staff. The work done by the Lounge is to socialize formerly stray cats leading to an eventual reintegration of the cats into society via adoption. This service along with the friendly staff, makes the experience a great one, especially for a sense of helping out a group dedicated to rescuing abandoned and forgotten cats.

One of my favorite spots in LA to unwind after a rough week and help shelter kitties at the same time. Non-profit cat cafe & all kitties are adoptable from local shelters! Found my new forever kitty from here and so pleased with the level of service and how helpful the staff are. Would recommend 10/10!

Great place for cat lovers and just a great place. Really sweet cats and kitties, all adoptable. The staff is awesome and really know the cats (and love them). So if you are looking to adopt, start here. They partner with Stray Cat Alliance. They have a little cafe with yummy drinks and cool merch. Your visit is considered a donation and is tax deductible. All animal lovers should support this great place. It is super clean and well maintained, nice design in the lounge with awesome cat jungle gyms. Im definitely going back.

Staff were amazing, very patient and helpful. Accidentally scheduled a reservation for Saturday instead of Sunday and they were totally chill and understanding. Super nice folks. Cats were adorable, and while many did just sleep, more than plenty walked around to be pet and play.

Pricing for visitation is on par with other similar establishments that Ive been to (mostly DC and NJ) and the staff are attentive, friendly, informative to both patrons and cats. Their passion for their jobs is apparent and thus is a good thing. Just be careful of the weekday rush hour traffic.

This is a very nice concept, and I really like how they let people adopt their cats. It is a little expensive, but I dont at all mind supporting the kitties. Some of the cats arent very friendly, but that is to be expected, and I didnt mind. It was a really nice space, but I wish some of the other customers respected the cats space a little more. The staff was friendly, and they have a cool little gift shop.

I love this place! So cute, so friendly. Just watch the cats romp around and play on the tastefully arranged and engaging cat gym equipment and fun raised walkways. Very clean and tidy, very engaged staff. And remember to please adopt a cat and give it a loving home!

Such an amazing place doing amazing things! We had so much fun hanging out with all the kitties! The place is super clean and modern and we were the only ones in there at the time so it was nice. The people working there were very helpful and you can tell really loved the cats. Big parking lot is a perk as well!

Its a non profit so definitely go and help support these cool people and these cool cats. Will definitely be back when were back in the area.

Great experience! Came here for a Valentines Day date and we both had a ton of fun. The cats are very cute, some playful, some sleepy and the tea we had was delicious! Staff super friendly too. This is a great idea and support to homeless cats - I fully recommend checking it out and supporting the cause. Any entry fees you pay are tax deductible so it’s a real, qualified charity vs. other for-profit cat cafes.

What can one say about emersing yourself in a lounge full of lovable cats. It is hard to not adopt one, or two prior to leaving. Staff is caring of the residents and clearly care for them all.

Who wouldn’t give a cafe full of cats 5 stars??? I just don’t understand any review on here that is less than 5 stars or that complains about the fee. It’s a nonprofit organization, how else are they supposed to care for the babies? The lounge is impeccably clean, the cats are obviously cared for, plus you get a free drink when you go! I commend the owner for all her hard work and dedication! The staff are lovely and the experience is overall amazing :)

Everyone here was awesome and helpful. Drinks were very good, we had cold brew and tea. Of course, the cats were a blast and the cafe is providing an amazing service. Even with quite a few other people there at the same time, it never felt crowded and the cats were very social.

I was expecting a cat Cafe like the ones Ive seen in Korea where you can actually sit down, enjoy your coffee, and even have a small meal where the cats hang out around you. Instead, you pay just to get in and its not cheap. The snacks are expensive and consist of cookies, chips, and fruit bars. So that was a dissapointment. However, the great thing about this place is that it actually serves as a fantastic foster care for cats that need a home. So its understandable that the admision fee is necessary. They have a great atmosphere for potential kitty parents to interact with the cats. Unfortunately, you wont be able to see all the cats available since they roam wherever they want and many choose to go and stay in the back room which is not visible to guests. Would be great if they added a little bakery section with tables and chairs so that theyd make it a repeat visit type of place. Other than all that I was really happy with the staff. They are helpful and truly care about the cats they care for and the people who come in.

A hidden gem in Los Angeles! Ive visited cat cafes before in London and Seoul but this one was the top of the line! Extremely clean, well-resourced, and sleek/playful interior design. The owner and staff are clearly passionate about rescuing cats and having them adopted to loving homes. Not to mention, this is the ONLY non-profit cat cafe in LA, which says a lot. The cats themselves are adorable, warm, and playful (especially Raymond and Earl :) Ive seen reviewers mention that most of the cats sleeping was a negative... but cmon, theyre cats! They can sleep up to 16-20 hours a day! That shouldnt and wont stop you from falling in love with them :) Come see for yourself!

The CatCafe Lounge is an amazing idea! The cats get attention that they need, and maybe even a new home. We get our coffee and animal fix all in one place. And it’s in a great location too!

This was such a treat! The staff is lovely and helpful, and the overall quality of the lounge area is impressive.

I think the Catcafe is great and I enjoyed my time there playing with the cats but I believe the adoption process that you have to go through is very unprofessional. The policies and rules that they have for adopting the cats are very unrealistic. If there is at least one problem they have with your phone interview they immediately begin to drag on the question they have a problem with even though you let them know you can fix it. I would rather go to a shelter to adopt.

The employees are polite, knowledgeable and its clear they care about the cats. The space is a wonderful example of modern catification. There is a good mix of confident and shy cats who will clearly benefit from a stress free way to get to know us. 😺
