I tried to tour the building/unit with my husband and the person took one look at us and said he has nothing available to view and he recommended we take the virtual tours online. Yea we look kinda busted rn due to my being 6 months pregnant and not being able to get out and glam as usual since we are avoiding covid risk but we’ve been living in luxury apartments in Cali since 2014 and never had an experience like this. 442 took us into unfinished units that had just been moved out of to allow us a look. The Current welcomed us and we lived there 2 years happily. Needed more space so we decided to go to Oceanaire and they have been delightful. We have a baby coming and now need a 2 bed so we are checking our options and The Pacific was a complete joke. He couldn’t even be bothered to offer to show us the amenities. I think the website needs work, the pop up that says “now offering in person tours, blah blah” is in the way of the viewing the site (the ‘x’ to remove it is glitchy) and some of the virtual tours I was referred to, won’t load. He would probably assume my phone is too broke to get it right 😂. If you’ve experienced service where the staff act “too busy” to answer phones and such you know how frustrating that can be, especially when you walk into the office and see them all “meeting” in one office taking their lunch order or just chatting. I would bet that is the type of service provided here.

Ive loved everything about the apartment. The leasing office has amazing people. Swa and Mariele have been really friendly and helpful from the day of the tour to signing the lease and making the move super smooth. The apartment is great and amenities of the building are really good. I also feel the apartment is really safe with all the entry points secured with access only to residents. The gym is super cool and the pool area is clean and modern. I like the layout of the apartment too its spacious and fancy. Something that really is important for me atleast is the cleanliness, all common areas are very clean.

Apartment hunting in preparation for a cross-country move and toured The Pacific yesterday. Ive visited more than a dozen properties this weekend and have to say The Pacific was the most put together Ive seen so far. But I really want to recognize Swa Hardy for his professionalism and attention to detail. From the first time I emailed the property last week to my tour yesterday, he was attentive to my needs and a pleasure to work with. And believe me, Ive had my fill so far of leasing agents who couldnt care less that you want to rent an apartment from them, or dont take the time to listen. In fact, Ive only had one other leasing agent besides Swa who demonstrated the same efficiency and professionalism - and oddly enough it was an agent at another SRG Residential property, Kim Sottomayor (Alamitos). One thing I have learned over the years though: If your leasing team doesnt care about you when youre in the prospect phase, they darn sure wont care about you when youve become a resident. And it is clear to me that should I lease with The Pacific, I will receive the same time and attention from Swa as I did when I first viewed the property - and thats reassuring.

First of all I’d like to say that the 1 star is purely for the for the appearance of the units and the location.I’m not one to normally put up reviews, but this bothered me so much that I still think of it almost 6 months later almost daily. I want everyone to know what they are getting into before they choose to rent at the Pacific. What drew us into renting at the Pacific is the beautiful units and the view from the upper floors. We liked that the units felt open, light and had a good use of the space. We specifically chose the Pacific over other options because of the nice 24-hour gym, since our sporadic work schedule meant sometimes working early or late, and the other nice amenities that would have made living in a smaller unit ok.We got there at the beginning stages of COVID, but In the name of COVID, management chose to take an extremely hard stance on interpreting the COVID restrictions and chose to close ALL amenities while we were there, even though we could have had some enjoyment of the amenities while still maintaining safe distance requirements. Since we were in a small one bedroom unit, this meant that we were just limited to our unit, where we worked, ate and slept. We couldn’t barbecue or enjoy the rooftop, because that was closed in the name of COVID as well, even though they could have had it opened. What we learned and what I’m hoping to convey by this review, is that management attaches NO VALUE to the amenities, even though they use the amenities as a major selling point for their property. They could have temporarily reduced rent, since they were made not available to the tenants, but they chose to rather have a building full of upset tenants. At the time we left, a very large group of tenants were banning together to gather signatures and letters to try to make a change. In addition to everything, I also want to point out things we found out by living there. The walls are thin, so you can hear neighbors, and in our unit you could hear the upstairs neighbor walking around all day on the hard wood floors. The paint on the walls is like powder and marks if you touch it with anything. They did a good job at reducing noise coming in from the street, but there are some very loud cars that daily speed by toward the freeway on ramp. Don’t get me wrong, I love loud cars, but not when you are trying to work remotely. Our mental health deteriorated drastically living at the Pacific and got so bad that we had to make a change at any cost. That cost was the $5,000 early termination fee in this case, which added to our mental health deterioration. We obtained legal council on this to see if we had any grounds to leave early, but the rental agreement is written so well in their favor, that there is nothing that you can do to get out early. So please learn from our mistake. Figure that the amenities are not a sure thing, and management doesn’t attach any value to them if for some reason you can no longer enjoy them. There are many choices out there, so choose wisely. I recommend to stay away from the Pacific or any others managed by Sares Regis.Good luck.

This community is one of the nicest communities available for lease in the downtown Long Beach area. The building is beautiful, and the amenities that are currently open are spectacular. But what really makes them stand out is the service and staff! We had a very heavy box delivered yesterday and I was trying to coordinate with my fiancé on when we could both go down there to pick it up. Swa saw that it was an issue for us and took it upon himself to personally deliver it straight to our door without being asked! It’s the little things that truly make a difference. Thanks, Swa!Even the maintenance team goes out of their way to check in and ensure all is well with our home. They even provided touch-up paint when we said we had a few scuffs on the wall from move-in. Amazing!Yesterday, they had a nearby restaurant come in and cater a lunch for the residents! Nowadays, it’s the customer service level, and the small things that differentiate you from the rest of the competition. The Pacific definitely is a great place to live!

This apartment is beautiful, I wanted to move in and the amenities were great. However, they only offer one parking spot NO EXCEPTIONS. Why would a new apartment building located in a busy downtown only have one available spot per apartment? What about couples? They told us we could park our second car on the steeet or pay $150 a month to rent a spot at a nearby parking garage. That isn’t acceptable for a “luxury” apartment. I would’ve loved to live here but it just doesn’t make sense.
