Edit: Patio gardens made me type this=>Just move in and all thanks to Emerson and his patients and help. Emerson answer all our questions and when the system would fail he immediately would respond and get back to us and find ways to ensure we had a place to live.Here are my actual thoughts: They gave us an old apartment, hairs, dirt and other stuff left from previous tenants was still there. We had no other option other than accept it. Tiny room they call gym is no better than no gym, half of the washing machines are broken and/or filled with lint. Community doors are broken and sometimes gets stuck, new manager forgot that we still live there once, even though we live 2 apartments next to theirs.P.s Most of the reviews I see here seems to be written by management themselves and that too for the old manager.

We’ve been residents for a few months now and we absolutely love it! The area is central to many great shops and restaurants. Very spacious apartments versus other complexes in the area. Very well maintained complex. Clean and gardened very well. Emerson, the complex manager, is very nice and attentive. Always willing to do anything he can to help and if he’s not able to at that moment he gets back to you within a day or so. He remembers the tenants names and is very friendly and approachable. His door is always open. We love it here so much and glad we chose this apartment complex. Has everything we were looking for.Joe

Going on our 3rd year here and we are LOVING it!! The community is amazing and super convenient for school and work. Our townhouse is spacious and we have a very sizable patio. We would definitely recommend this community to friends and family. The staff is very friendly and professional! And Emerson has great style.

Patio Gardens is a beautiful community. We have had our eyes on this property from the minute we started living in Long Beach. Once our budget allowed us to upgrade and move into a nicer apt Patio Gardens was the place we knew we wanted to be. The apartments on the first floor have patios that are great to relax in and enjoy being outside during those fall and spring days. During the summer the abundance of trees help keep the property nice and cool. This property is dog friendly and a great place to live. Emerson the community manager is great to work with. He takes the time to get to know his residence so he can greet them by name any time they walk into his office. If there is anything thing you need Emerson does the best he can to help you. The type of environment that he has created here makes being a resident a job and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a new place to live.

Just renewed our lease because we love the convenience of being near school, shopping and dining. The apartment is great and spacious. The patio is a good size to just relax and unwind after a long day. The staff is super friendly and professional and always greeting you with a smile. Emerson the community manager, is always very helpful and keep us very informed. As a Business Major, Emerson would be the type of person I would hire to run my business. If youre looking for a place, near CSULB, I highly recommend Patio Gardens.

Moving into the flat was incredibly pain free and relaxed. Emerson is incredibly kind and helpful to us, which was especially useful as we are foreign exchange students which can lead to a lot of confusion. I would highly recommend Patio Gardens, its good value for money and its near a larger shopping park so its very practical.

Looking for an apartment is very hard. I came across this beautiful patio garden style community called Patio Gardens with lots of tress and spacious floor plans. What I love the most was the amazing and professional manager in the leasing office. Emerson was great he made my husband and me feel important and he cared about our needs and want. Emerson has an Awesome personality we hope that we get approve because we would love to have him as our future Manager.

Amazing STAFF ... Great LOCATION... My experiences with Emerson in the front office, I have to say that Ive had the easiest, most efficient and professional lease renewal, customer service and problem solving since living in apartment communities. Emerson is always more than helpful every step of the way; as he made sure that I had all of the required information, answered all of my questions promptly, and ensured that all of the service requests I put in for my apartment and were carried out ASAP. Hes the greatest. Jose is amazing he always make sure our service requests are taken care of .

This is the greatest apartment complex to ever have been constructed in the past 1600 years. The service provided to tenants is unparalleled and should be given multiple worldwide awards. The property is so beautiful that I shed a tear when I first laid eyes upon it. I would highly recommend anyone looking for residence in the greater Los Angeles County to heavily consider patio gardens as their number one choice.

Patio Gardens is a really nice place. The apartments are spacious, the neighborhood is quiet and all residents are very friendly. But the main reason we moved here was its manager Emerson. He is super funny, friendly and a very good salesman!He is one of those people who have charisma! If you ever have a problem he will solve it. He even drove us to Walmart to help us buy furniture. Amazing guy!

Have rented here for years the building is well maintain and the staff is always super helpful and friendly.The building is near by shopping and dinning you dont even need to drive if you just need light groceries. The community offers garages and laundry rooms plus is the only one in the area that has very nice landscaping. The trees help with the fresh air and to keep the sun away from your apartment.Nice patios and spacious super private and the best part is that they also have a door for your convenience to access your back door, and you do not need to go all the way around your building.

We got really lucky with this place. Patio Gardens is in a great area, quiet, well maintained and affordable. And the management is great! No matter how many questions I had prior to moving in, Emerson answered all of them with no hesitation and was very helpful throughout the whole move in process.

Moving in was totally painless and was an easy process! Emerson was super helpful. He is also very quick to respond and is truly a wonderful manager. Location is also super nice as its really close to CSULB and theres an abundance of shops that are in walking distance.

The property Manager Emerson Pena, made the whole process of moving in very comfortable. I had some issues with the move in dates and he advised me about the process and helped in making the right decisions. Very prompt and meticulous answers to every question in person and via emails. Emerson is addressing our concerns and issues during the first few weeks of our stay here. Its like hes working 24x7x365 !!A very professional and friendly approach by Emerson to the tenants deserves kudos. Look forward to the experience of living in Patio Gardens.

After viewing my new apt at Patio Gardens I fell in love. There is a lot of space and the overall vibe is amazingly calm. The manager Emerson is one of the best most kind hearted guys youll meet. He has a great sense of humor and will make you feel like your right at home. Love this place and I highly recommend it.

Very nice manager, Mr. Pena did a fantastic job assisting my roommates and me in renewing our lease and fixing various problems we have been having.The apartment itself is also really nice, two story with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms for my particular unit. Only issue Ive had with it is the paint rubbing off easily on other objects, but that is a small price to pay for the location. Not to mention the greenery is stupendous in the surrounding area.

Have lived here for more than 4 years and we love it. The community is located in a very great prime location and close to school and shopping. The staff are s always friendly and super helpful. Emerson. What a man. The manager at patio gardens really settled me into long beach, helped me get my first shop as I couldn’t drive.The location is great, loads of shops in the vicinity, with the beach and CSULB being a walkable distance away.The apartments are also very nice, like your own little house with a nice private patio that can be furnished as you wish.

I’ve lived all over California from houses on the beach to small appartments in Santa Cruz. Moving into Patio Gardens was honestly one of the easiest and most professionally handled moves I’ve ever had. If your interested in this place Emerson is the man to talk to. He was the one that convinced us that my family and myself would love it here, and boy was he right. I can honestly say that had it not been for Emerson and his professionalism we would have passed this place over and missed out on a great place to live. The complex easily deserves 5 stars but Emerson should have at least six. That guy makes this place awesome to live.

We been here since 2013 and just love the apartments. Our time is finally up since we finish school but we will recommend this community to everyone looking for a place to stay in long beach. The staff has always been very helpful and professional. Emerson the newest Manager has always taken care of us and even work with us to stay, but we are all moving out of town due to work.

The community is very local to my job and school. The apartment is spacious and have lots of closet and storage space. Just Love how the kitchen is separate from the living room and have plenty of cabinet space. Emerson, the community manager, has been super helpful and made or application and move in process easy and very informative.

Although we are not tenants yet, I am definitely considered renting here. Take my advice if you love what you see, go for it! Emerson showed us around many times and with no complaints or aggravations. We had to have asked a million questions and he was happy to answer ALL of them. The day we came he was alone, and let me tell you phones were ringing, people kept coming in and out, but he was still extremely patient and gave everyone a positive attitude and remained calm. This place is a beautiful, and very convenient to shopping, dinning, public transportation, and Schools. We definitely are going back in August to lease our new place!

Had the pleasure of signing a lease for a beautiful town house at the Patio Gardens Apartments. If it wasn’t for Emerson, we wouldn’t have had such a smooth transition into our new apartment. He was very helpful, kind, funny and just made us feel welcomed overall.

Where do I begin with this awesome place. First of all the location is great, tons of parking which is a huge perk and the property manager Emerson was very helpful! Looking around for apartments in Long Beach can be very challenging, but the process was made very easy by the staff at Patio Gardens. Very spacious townhouses, and there is a lot of shade. Emerson was very helpful. The complex being very close to campus and the shuttle stop/Long Beach Transit bus stop is very convenient.

Patio Gardens is a great looking community. Lots of trees and greenery to keep the place lively and also provide a lot of shade. Pretty quiet neighborhood and especially with the units further away from the main street of Los Coyotes Diagonal. Theres a plaza right by the community which only takes about 5 minutes walking where theres restaurants (Halal Guys, Flame Broiler, In n Out) and general/clothing stores. For the college students, theres a bus stop right by the sidewalk of the community which takes you directly to CSULB campus.Head to leasing office and the Community Manager, Emerson, will gladly help you out with any questions and concerns. Hell take care of you with no doubt.

It was very difficult to choose a community in the area near traffic circle but i am happy to be a part of Patio Gardens. It is a well maintained and peaceful place. The maintainance and repair requests are handled very swiftly. They also have a helpline number for the residents where they connect you directly to the maintainance guy on duty for urgent issues. The Management (Emerson and Christian) is friendly and helpful always ready to hear your feedback and solve your issues.

The apartments are pretty awesome and spacious. They have lot of trees around. They were kind enough to give us the keys one day prior to moving in. Definitely recommended. Five stars from my side 👍👍👍👍👍

I have lived here for about 3 years, cycling through many roommates and experiencing many lifestyles that inevitably resulted in my need to transfer units. This area has been one of the best units to live near CSULB.I live in the townhouse units and they have served me very well outside of the roommates that cycle through. Emerson was such a great help at making the process easier. The unit housing is fair for being so close to campus. I reccomend!

I highly recommand Patio Gardens. You can find nice accommodations in a great neighborhood.Emerson practises his trade with a great professionalism. He did his best so we can have a move-in as comfortable as possible.

I like neighbors around. its pretty quite. Some students from CSULB live in the area too and its always nice. The units manager Emerson always provides assistance when needed. One time I had an issue with my paying check for rent and had to delay and he showed nothing but support. I recommend the apartments for someone looking for a quite place that has everything nearby. On the other side, the rate is a bit higher but you get what you pay for.

Jose the maintenance manger is the coolest. Patty the previous property manager was the sweetest, we miss her. Emerson the new manager is the boss, he is a cool dude has create communication when you need him

The area is really well kept and is right next to the outer circle! Emerson is nice and always very profesional. The community meets my needs and is very local to my school and work.

I lived here for awhile. The place is the best option I had in Long Beach area. Everything is a walking distance for shops, stores and coffee places. The area is really safe for the time I’ve been here. The apartments are clean and well organized. The management are really helpful and nice. Emerson is always there for whatever need we had. Good management good area. Highly recommend for whoever’s looking for good affordable apartments.

Worst Leasing Staff. They never respond to emails or calls. Online Portal is down most of the times. You cannot pay rent online. compared to Beverly Plaza and Park Avenue Apartments - Rent is high & Space is less.

Great location near groceries and fast food with public transport around town and to LBSU. Management is helpful and friendly with problems as they arise. Area is kept clean and parking is abundant during the day and okay at night.

Leasing office is NEVER. Leasing manager changed halfway through our lease and the second was just as unhelpful as the first. Communication is awful. Everything is difficult with them. Very disappointed.
