Once you sign a lease, they dont care about you at all. Our building cant get USPS packages because there have been so many thefts. When I let the building management know, they told me to contact the postmaster to resolve it. They couldnt see a reason to get involved.Their construction crew and other workers prop the buildings entrance open regularly for full days for weeks at a time. They wont change a thing about how they operate.Cars are regularly broken into in the secure parking lot ($100/month per vehicle for a spot) The photos were taken over a 1 week period when the parking garage gates were stuck open. This is common. Each photo is from a different day over a 20 day span this summer.Absolutely no concern for security.

I’ve only been living here for 2 weeks but compared to the apartment complex I lived at before moving here, Camden Harbor View is AMAZING! The leasing office and maintenance staff are incredible in everything they do, they welcomed us in with a gift bag (there was even one for our little fur baby), they checked in on how we’re doing after a week of being here and made sure the necessary maintenance is done, they held resident appreciation night (free delicious food and walk through of the new amenities and another free gift bag!) as a thank you for enduring the construction and maintenance that was going on in the community (Which wasn’t even unbearable at all). The staff members are always friendly, welcoming and available to the residents, you run into at least one of them every day (that’s how available and efficient they are). Love it here! Thank you all for your continuous hard work (especially Tim and Michael who we’ve worked with closely so far)

Tim in the leasing department is wonderful! He is eager to help, and jumped right in to help solve an issue. We moved here from the Bay Area so it was a relatively large move, and Camden Harbor truly feels like home! We love living so close to the beach, but we love having 2 pools on the property. It’s also pet friendly and our dog LOVES there’s a dog park on the property.

If you are not home to receive packages they will be stolen, cars are consistently broken into, stairwells are not cleaned enough, door to building are recurring propped open and not nearly enough security (essentially non existent)

Living at Camden Harbor View is really a place to call home! The staff and maintenance team have been the most professional and efficient with all our needs!Having the shops and restaurants nearby in Downtown Long Beach, including the Pike, Shoreline Village the amazing Queen Mary, the beach along with other great places at a walking distance has really been amazing! Not to mention the great weather!!!Thank you Camden!

Ive lived here for about 5 months and it has been an absolute nightmare. I am breaking my lease and going off somewhere where my money is valued. The disturbance from the construction noise has caused me mental and emotional distress. Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm for FIVE MONTHS there has been unbearable commotion, noise, machines rumbling, right outside my window. Its all happening during COVID, when were all supposed to stay home and help stop the spread, but cannot stay home where it is supposed to be a place for rest, relaxation and work. Many residents have continuously expressed their concern about the noise, yet Camden keeps on harassing us every single day and doing what any major housing corporation does, ignore your residents but collect their money. Not recommending at all if you have to stay and work from home.

The maintenance team is amazing! Juan & Agustin completed repairs of the air/heating unit within a few days. Even though a part had to be ordered, assembled and installed they did a seamless job of getting it done in a timely manner. They both were friendly yet very professional. They have a great knowledge of the property. Thanks again!

First and foremost I want to thank the staff for all they do and their responsiveness to any need we have had. I have been here for a few years and I absolutely love the team. They are very attentive and do their best to make sure their tenants are happy and taken care of. Even with the recent renovations in the works they have done their best to make sure we have not lost the amenities we have. Some people can see temporary relocations of features such as the fitness center as an inconvenience but it really isnt major. I would rather take a few extra steps than to lose the amenity altogether. From the perks to the luxurious units and amazing area with so much to do, Camden Harbor View has so much to offer! Ive read some of the other reviews and frankly I dont get it. If youre unhappy with anything then find a new home, its simple. Ultimately I have never experienced anything as described. I have nothing but positive remarks to make about this place! Safe and sound with me and my little family. I definitely recommend this place for those looking for a new home in Long Beach!

Denisse helped my mother and I out tremendously when we were relocating from the Bay Area to Long Beach and made our transition super easy. Without her, I help things could have been so much more stressful than they were for our household relocation.In fact, Denisse made it possible for us to move to Camden and into a unit that meets our needs given my work from home status. She really made a tremendous effort throughout the leasing process to send us videos, pictures and information we needed to lease our new home sight unseen. Thats how much confidence we had in Denisse and what she did for us.I can say that there are challenges with any community and being located in a metro area, no less Downtown Long Beach. Ive been pleasantly surprised at the thorough communication the staff at Camden has shared with community residents and the efforts they have made publicly to address concerns from the community.I look at over 10 properties before making my decision to call Camden home ... all remote from my home in the Bay Area and Im glad I made the choice I did for my family. Denisse, Michael and the rest of the team here are great to work with.

They have everything closed on premises so you don’t get to access any amenities & it’s only fair that they would give it the benefit of the doubt to adjust the rent due to no amenities but they don’t . They offer a covid extension but take away your privilege to change units . The noise level is high so if you are looking for a quite residence this isn’t the place keep looking the walls & windows are very thin.

Besides the great floor plans that Camden offers, the great amenities it has to offer, the ample parking and the convenience of being able to walk to The Pike, numerous restaurants, Shoreline Village and more, I have to say the helpful staff is really a great addition. Especially Timique! He always is friendly and helpful. He has great rapport and provides excellent customer service. He is attentive to any and your needs.

We have been residents at Camden Harbor View for over three years. It is truly luxury living. The apartments are beautiful with top-of-the-line appliances and amenities and as soon as the renovations are done to the planters, pool and gym, I know it’s gonna look just amazing.The staff is very helpful anytime you need help with a smile on their face. I recommend Camden Harbor View to anyone thinking about moving to Long Beach.

The maintenance staff are great, but management of the building is horrible. We were just notified by the USPS that packages wont be delivered to the building anymore because theyre have been so many thefts. Car breakins dont even make it into conversations with neighbors because weve gotten so used to them.The material used for the apartrments is the cheapest possible (cabinets are actually a compressed cardboard with a plastic overwrap!).. The gates and does are regularly broken or left wide open to facilitate the constant construction (over a year now).

Living here has been an amazing relief. For it being in the downtown area the prices are reasonable and Camden offers a lot for the residents. If something needs repairing in your apartment you simply submit a service request and someone always comes ASAP. The maintenance people are always quick, efficient, and very friendly.The staff here is very kind hearted. My family and I had a recent family tragedy and Gilbert was able to help us tremendously. He is very professional, gets it done, and has a huge heart for helping the residents. We are very grateful for all of his help. It is truly difficult to match his service anywhere else.

Cool place to live with many perks such as pools and workout facilities. It would be perfect if the wifi worked. It switches on and off all day long. When it works, its fast- but then it wont work at all. Very hard to get work done or enjoy streaming. seems it wont be fixed in the foreseeable future. Also there is a nearly constant odor of urine outside.

This review is for my maintenance experience with Agustin and Juan only. I recently requested help with things that are not the responsibility of the apartments, I needed things hung and smart lights added to my house. Agustin and Juan were more than happy to help me, they came quickly after I submitted the request and had no issue with assisting with other minor request I made while they were here. The maintenance team is ALWAYS able and willing to help and I couldnt be happier!

I lived at Camden for over a year and loved it. I have since had to move due to roommate changes but I definitely miss living there. Our move in/out process was such a breeze. Gilbert was the employee who helped us and really made it go smooth, even going above and beyond by offering us boxes and storage recommendations, and donation locations. This place will always be my favorite.

I have been living here for more than a year, and Im happy to say that moving here was the best decision my family and I have ever made. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Brooke Lorenz. She is always there when we need assistance. The security is very good as well including the robot who rolls all day and night. The atmosphere is wonderful and everyone in the buildings are very friendly and funny people. I like how we are right by the mall to enjoy some shopping and get close to the ocean. It is a very beautiful place to live!

One of the best parts about this place is the maintenance team. Had a very clogged sink and Jesus came by and fixed it quickly. Whenever weve had some kind of issue, maintenance has been able to resolve the problem within 24 hours!

Camden Harbor by far is the best place ME and a thousand others recomend you and your family to stay here! Besides the amenities it comes along with The residents service is the greatest! With my personal experiences they are very understanding and love to always help out by any means. Gilbert and the rest of the team are such a great help! They will not let you down and are always willing to meet you half way when in need.

We have been living here for over a year and so far it has been amazing. We love the location, its perfect for kids, and close to everything. We love walking to the Pike or to downtown. The office staff is amazing and always greets you with a smile. They are always there for you whether you need some assistance or even little things like paper for printer. I have been a resident at Camden Harbor View for 9 ½ years. I have had assistance from many of the staff over the years, and all were (and still are) great at doing their job. The difference between them and Gilbert is that while they all do a great job, sometimes you feel that you are just a Camden Harbor View resident/tenant.I believe that Gilbert actually goes above and beyond when assisting Camden residents. He has been genuinely sympathetic when hearing there was a recent loss in my family. He has been there with kind words of encouragement when we were dealing with a financial issue.When you speak to him to about any issues you may be experiencing, he is empathetic to your unique situation. He has never been too busy to see me, or follow up with a call on an item we have discussed. Ive lived here for 3 months and its been okay in general, except probably the loudest complex ever. My apartment looks over the courtyard and it not on a main street. During my living here there has been constant construction in and around the building, trucks making noise on a daily basis, and when the workers finally stop at 5 pm there comes the loud cars and loud mufflers, playing music at 2am and the security not doing anything. If you have to work from home, you wont get any peace and quiet here thats for sure.

I initially came in with doubts from a previous Camden property but this place is awesome and the team here does their very best to help. Shout-out to Rene for doing a spendid job!

A great place to live, very friendly and helpful staff. Camden is a jewel in the downtown Long Beach area. You are central to all of the major attractions, restaurants, nigh life. The staff is really who make this a great place to live. Anita, James, Laurie, Alvin, Jesse and everyone is very professional, helpful. The upkeep of the property is great, you feel good to come home, knowing you are safe and to an nice place to live. It is quiet and the neighbors are all friendly.

René was exceptional! Before he came in he asked asked safety pre-caution questions related to COVID19-, which I greatly appreciated. We had an issue with our AC and he fixed it quickly. He was very polite the whole time and explain what he would be doing to fix it and how long it should take.Take you René!

I have lived here for over a year and I love it! The staff is more than accommodating and feel like a family! They remember you and your family and do as much as they can to help when needed. The community is well kept and well worth the money. I was pretty surprised by the cost at first, but when comparing properties in the area, I found many places that cost way more and come with fewer amenities. You cant put a price on safe parking and laundry in-unit! Those are very hard to come by in Long Beach! The maintenance staff is also very helpful and prompt! I believe the comfort and security is well worth the price!

I have truly enjoyed living at Camden. The office staff is always very accommodating and easy to work with. The same goes for the maintenance team. I see them working so hard and with a big smile. Harbor View has to be one of the best upscale apartment buildings in Downtown. The apartments include stainless steel appliances, a full size washer and dryer and parking! Come on now! That is an amazing package to have come with your apartment! The location of the building cannot be in a better location. Transportation, eateries, entertainment, and shopping all walking distance. I want to extend my satisfaction to the office members because they have always been so generous and helpful. They are open every day so if you need anything, they are there. With all the older buildings in Downtown Long Beach, Camden Harbor View is a breath of fresh air. The property is modern looking and well maintained. The location is perfect. Its easy access to the 710 freeway and walking distance to the Pike, Downtown Long Beach, and the actual beach! Ive lived here for almost 2 years now and am glad I made that decision. The apartment units are top notch with stainless steel appliances, roman tubs and washer and dryer in the unit which is a rarity in Southern California. Also a rarity in Downtown is parking which Camden Harbor View has an abundance of, and its covered!. On top of all that, the rent is quite reasonable which gives this property a 5 star.

The building is newer so you won’t have to deal with problems commonly encountered at old apartment buildings such as rodents/bugs etc. As far as the actual apartment units go everything is nice. Unfortunately, your car will most likely be broken into in the gated parking garage. When you call lb pd, they will tell you to advocate with management for more cameras and better security. Don’t think it won’t happen to you... it will. It has happened to almost everyone on my floor. Just know if you move here you can never even for 2 minutes leave anything in the car you do not want stolen. My only qualm with Camden’s is not being forewarned about this problem. Yes, your car can be broken into anywhere at anytime, but the probability is much higher at Camden’s because whoever is doing it keeps getting away with it. If the situation improves/parking garage is made to be safer, I will update this review.

I just moved in August 2015 and I LOVE IT here!!!! The staff is so helpful, and complex is always clean! There are so many things to do in the surrounding area that I dont need to go far for a great dinner or a fun night out. I also really appreciate the security that I see monitoring the parking structure.

I have been living here for 1 year, and I am going to transfer to a new unit this week. Gilbert helped me transfer all my accounts to the new unit and also replied to me right away. I cant thank him enough to help me transferring. The staff here is very helpful and makes me very comfortable living here. I highly recommend Camden Harbor View.

First of all.....I never give 5 stars to anything because I think things can always improve. Having said that, I moved to Camden Harbor View in June 2017 and have had nothing but a positive experience so far. Initially I had some maintenance issues and they were all handled very quickly and professionally. The entire staff is always very friendly and willing to help in any way.......as if you lock yourself out of your apartment (yep, I did that already :))

Camden Harbor View is ideal for me because of the high level of service I receive. I lived here a couple years ago, moved overseas, and chose Camden again when it was time to return home. The entire staff is always professional. James, in particular, has been very helpful in making my experience here comfortable. I even recommended Camden to a friend of mine so he and his family now enjoy living here as well!

By far the best place to live! I lived at Camden for over 2 years then had my first baby and thought that moving to a house was the best idea, after almost 2 years I knew it was time to come back to Camden. The amenities, the washer and dryer in the unit and the awesome staff and customer service makes it the entire package! Not to mention how much my 3 year old now loves to take small walks down to the beach! It is safe, beautiful and just the best place to live!! So happy to be back home at Camden Harbor View!! :)

I have only lived here for a month and a half and I would have to say it has been a great time. There are so many great things about it. We are only minutes away from great dinning and tons of fun. I could honestly say I am a happy camper living here.

Ive been living at Camden for the past two years and it has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and me. i love the proximity to all the restaurants and attractions in Long Beach. The office staff is terrific and very friendly. The maintenance crew is fantastic also.-I highly recommend this community style living.

First of all you gotta make sure you have parking space for all the residents YOU DONT, I regret every single day moving to this complex, the alarm sounds every single week and the damn parking! I been here for and hour trying to park my damn car and nothing, yesterday was the same thing..... waste of my time....If I was you I will never move to this complex, neighbors complaining of noises, security come to your door in the middle of the night because a neighbor complained of the noises, f... I am sound asleep!! Jeez this are apartments if you dont like noise Please go get a house!!!I cant wait till my lease is over and move the hell away from here!!! 😡

We love living here. The staff is friendly. The building is quiet. The location is unbeatable. We love our balcony looking out over the city. And the garbage chutes are so convenient.

Ive been living here since April 2014 and loved it. The office staff are really helpful in every way they can. Having someone visit you in your apartment has never been easy since they have an online parking permit request. I will always recommend anyone to come check out this apartment complex.

I love living here. The people are very friendly there is a bar attached to the building that has an excellent selection of craft beers. The staff has been very friendly and very good about fixing issues when they arise. Getting packages delivered can be kind of tough if you work crazy hours, but overall its a nice place to live.

It has been a pleasure living here. Very spacious apartments and the community is great. Perfect location right next to the Pike with plenty of things to do. I loved my time while I was here and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking in the downtown area.

Camden Harbor View is a great place to live. They continually upgrade common areas, while working to respond to resident requests. I have lived there for the past 12 months and all issues have been dealt with in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly and courteous I just with the rent would not do up, lol. I love the Pool area and the events that the Staff Plans. I like that Parking is included. I like that is is safe and they have security patrols. Check them out!!

We love living here! its close to everything near the water in Long Beach either a short walk or bike ride. Its bit expensive but what you get for the price makes it worth it, especially the guaranteed parking and security. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend living here!

Great location and great staff. The maintenance people are extremely friendly and quick to take care of your every need. They are pet friendly and have a welcoming front office staff. We love our apartment.

Camden Harbor View is a great place to live. The buildings are pretty new, and the residents are nice. The leasing office staff is very helpful and there are get-togethers throughout the year that are pretty fun. The location is perfect as its close to everything yet you dont have to deal with rowdy people all the time.

2nd time in a couple months that a tenants door has been physically bashed down by Long Beach Police Officers. Door hasn’t been fixed and tenants remain in apartment. When asked when door would be fixed was told. They are working through the process that the law allows them to take. Door has been bashed in for over a week now and residents have not been communicated to from a safety regards about the incident. There are most definitely better places to live in LB and you might even save some money.

Camden Harbor is a great place/location to live. Gilbert has been so helpful and friendly since day one.

With my military background and living all over the country I would honestly have to say that Camden is one of my top favorites. The employees have always welcomed me with a smile and have gone that extra mile with their customer service, and its nice knowing there is 24/7 security on the premise. The only thing I would change about Harbor View is if they allowed residents to purchase a unit here, because I would!

I was a tenant at Camden for over two years, when first getting into the apartments my uhaul with my female products was broken into and I lost the items to get ready. One of the Staff members let me use her facial wash and hair utensils that day and keep them. Since then staying Camden had always been great about answering my needs and then some, in fact most days I put in a service order the service team is there same day.There was an incident where I had a bad roommate and had to get a restraining order, and if Tracy and Summer weren’t there to help I don’t think I would have felt as safe or taken’ care of. Not to mention the safety of my apartment. Gilbert is another honorable mention as there have been times he had to hound me for information (I work graves and usually sleep all day) but even then he was always kind to me in elevators and any questions or help I needed he was always there.Always a great staff, and always great additional assistance when I’ve needed it. If I didn’t need more space for my fiancé to move into with me, I probably would have stayed another couple years.

I cannot, under any circumstances, believe that these positive reviews are from any actual residents who have lived at this dump in the past year. I dont know a single resident who isnt beside themselves with contempt for the horrible living conditions, constant criminal presence, lack of working internet, and ineffective and patronizing staff we deal with every day.Let me say -- I never write reviews like this. Im only trying to warn people before they get fooled into signing a lease... please read on!The first year I lived here, it was actually pretty decent! I could deal with a weekly car break-in and the occasional internet outage, but the conditions have been on a free-fall for the last year with no end in sight. Every aspect of living here has gotten unacceptably awful, and every current resident knows it.All summer they have been completely tearing the place to shreds, ripping out all of the landscaping and foliage that made it look halfway decent, closing the pool for the ENTIRE summer for renovations that current residents will probably never see, and subjecting us to incessant construction noise and horrible smells. To make things even worse, the construction has caused rodents and cockroaches to relocate themselves into residents apartments -- and Camden staff chooses to blame the residents instead of being proactive.There is no functioning security whatsoever (lol courtesy security patrol) and cars are broken into nightly in our garage. Homeless, mentally ill, and drug addicted people are passed out all over the outsides, and yes, the INSIDES of our buildings with no repercussions. How is such a lack of security acceptable in a downtown urban environment???Residents are also forced into paying for a cable and internet package that has continued to degrade in quality since I moved in to the point where it is no longer usable, causing residents to have to double-pay for a separate service that works. When we contact Camden about this issue, their only response is for us to call Spectrum and sit on the phone for hours with them to get no solution because WE DONT HAVE INDIVIDUAL CONNECTION ISSUES, IT IS A COMMUNITY-WIDE ISSUE!!!Oh... and then there is the staff. Have a problem with any of the above-mentioned issues? Well you better get ready to go f--- yourself, because that is basically how the staff responds to everything. No help, no suggestion of solutions, nothing -- they just blame residents for everything or ignore you entirely.If you want to check this place out, do yourself a favor and ask an ACTUAL resident what they think while you are in the area... you will not be getting any 4 and 5 star reviews, I can promise you that much.

We wont be renewing our lease. With all of the water issues and the reluctance to handle the situation quickly and properly, on Camdens behalf from a monetary customer service standpoint, we dont see the value and feel comfort that potential future utilitiy outages, or any other inconveniences to necessities/amenities we pay for, will be handled with care in putting the customer first.Secondly, the amount of money they are asking for in this lease is not comparable to other apartments in the area and we will not take the risk as its not worth it and is overpriced.We did, however, enjoy the previous two leasing terms we lived here.

I moved here from Studio City and thought there was no way I would like it here better… wrong! The walk-score is absolutely incredible; the boardwalk/pier, The Promenade, aquarium, convention center, and Pike Outlets are all walking-distance! There’s also a little wine bar, pizza parlor, convenience store, and hair salon in the courtyard. (The salon is called “The Den” and is incredible; got one of my best haircuts ever there). I walk around here more than I did back in Studio City (the weather down here is much cooler than in the valley, so walking outside is bearable). Also, for some reason there are so many Starbucks’ in the area, so you will never be deprived of coffee. It’s surprisingly quiet, as the complex is in a nice little nook downtown. It’s also extremely BIKE FRIENDLY!! You can easily rent bikes and ride them along the beach or around town.At first I was worried about how big the building is, and worried that I would become a number. Interestingly enough, I have come to know the staff here MORE than my first apartments (which all had no more than 12 units total). Denisse gave us the initial tour, and we felt at home ever since we walked in. The Camden staff are extremely attentive and get back to you right away. The printing center was down the other day, and Denisse offered to print my documents for me (so sweet)! Rene (one of the maintenance workers) is SO courteous and works so hard if something needs fixing!! They go above and beyond for tenants here.I love how secure it is with the gated parking, and needing a key to use the elevator to get inside. The gym is also really good — it has all of the basics and the equipment is in good condition. Very clean as well. Amazon packages get delivered to your door, which is nice because it’s a larger complex.There is also a pool and outdoor lounge area, and conference rooms you can rent! You really can’t go wrong here; especially for the price, service, and location. It has everything you need, and the staff take care of your needs!! After working through broken elevators, fire alarms, parking thefts, and many other sorry for the inconvenience items I left Camden Harbor View for a more agreeable situation. Camden did not do an exit walk though, with me, and charged over $900 to clean the unit (I rented it 11 months and it was empty and clean). I disagreed with the amount and no-one could help, then they turned it over to collections. They said they automatically do that after 30 days)..I let the office staff know i would be providing this feedback via Yelp, your website and other public feedback sites. The Camden Harbor View leasing representative (who would not disclose her name) let me know I was free to provide whatever feedback, wherever I wanted. Will never consider Camden again and will warn anyone that does. Consistent feedback for Harbor View is great location, bad management. This is an example of my experience....

I am extremely disappointed due to my recent experiences with the Camden Harbor View. There is a HUGE problem occurring in the complex due to the lack of mailboxes for packages.I and another resident had 3 packages stolen this week. My package was worth $70 and I am now having to submit a crime complaint and have back and forth communication with the site I bought it from, in the hopes of being refunded.I sincerely hope the Camden changes its policy and takes responsibility for lost packages, as it is otherwise a wonderful complex. I will update this review if any changes occur.

Harbor view? More like a parking structure and hotel view honestly but the little you do see is nice. Place is clean, sometimes you have angry bitter neighbors but thats everywhere... its quiet but you will hear car alarms all night going off from parking lot and Im on 4th floor. Place has banquets room, theater and gym.

I must say that the maintenance service that I have received from the maintenance staff is superb. Maintenance Technician, Francisco Arciga, has done great work every time. There is nothing like proficient and efficient service.

Great place to live if you want your cars broken into every other week.. Management does not care they just want your rent check on the first. Look for safer places to live.

Some have great views.*Big bathrooms*Very responsive maintenance team*Very responsive and polite front office*Low deposit required for move in.*Easy online portal for payments, maintenance requests and bulletin board.*Location is great, near Marina and Pier Ave.*Central A/C*Appliances included*Pet friendly but can be a con depending on preferences.Cons:*No storage or garage*No assigned parking*Not a real community. People keep to themselves and few opportunities to connect with others. Online community is not effective for connecting and theres no social media presence.*Forced buy in (extra $95), into antiquated Charter Cable service and unreliable community internet service. (I had to get my own private internet on top of $95 extra we pay).*Amenities not really available because if construction and renovations (2020)* Lots of smokers (pot & cigs) so deal breaker for families with kids. No smoking policy is not well enforced but its relatively new.* Poorly insulated from street and construction noise on Street side apts.* Restrictive transfer policies, that keep you stuck if you want to transfer to similar unit in more desirable location away from smokers or noise. No consideration for loyalty.*Lax security. Homeless, mentally ill and riff raff occasionally make their way into community property and can be disruptive. Community security guards are not visible or active and car break-ins in garage are not uncommon.

Very helpful and friendly staff, great neighbors and amenities. Its nice to have everything in walking distance and guest parking available for friends/family in a downtown area.

I love living here! I love my dark hardwood floors and white cabinets :) This place is walking distance to the pike, downtown restaurants and beach which makes for easy weekend plans and scenic walks with my little dog :) The office is quick to respond to concerns and maintenance requests. Its quiet and safe. And I also feel I should mention that it is walking distance to a coffee shop (in the complex!)- Brew Haus, which has great coffee. I also noticed a starbucks in the works across the street... LOVING downtown Long Beach!

A great community to live in. I love everything about Camden Harbor View. Location location location. Minutes away from everything you need including restaurants, bars, parks etc ... the staff is wonderful and always available to help. Perfect place to live in Downtown Long Beach, just in between the city and beach life. Staff is wonderful and always finds ways to improve our experience.

Ive been living at Camden Harbor view for about 9 months and I absolutely love it! There are many great amenities and tons of places to explore and eat since it is located right next to The Pike. The staff is friendly and helpful with anything that you need.

I recently reported what seems like an innocent leak in my bathroom floor. I reported it when I discovered the carpet on my bedroom closet was wet. I called and IMMEDIATELY Feliciano and his Team came to my apartment and quickly and efficiently discovered it was a serious situation that required major work. I was so impressed with how diligent and thorough his Team was at assessing the problem and immediately fixing it. Much work to dry out of carpet, floor, walls as well as fixing what was causing the leak. What I appreciated most was the care they took to be certain I was comfortable with the status on what was happening, when it was happening and how long it would take. My bedroom carpet was replaced, the rest of the bedroom carpet shampooed and Feliciano himself, made sure my bathroom floor was spotless when all the work was done. It required coordination with support teams that was finished flawlessly. We are so fortunate to have such dynamic team members here at Camden who take their work so conscientiously. Thank you Feliciano and Camden Harborview.

This is the most overrated apartment building in Long Beach. Yes its a new construction with a few cool restaurants on the ground floor. But when you walk up to the building all you smell is dog poop and urine. There are a bajillion bums crawling around the building and especially the abondoned building right next to it.Not to mention that the apartments are supremely small and over priced. The parking spaces are snug and there are car break-ins regularly...I give it 2 stars because of its proximity to nightlife, happy hours and restaurants.

Renters beware:Apartment 3403 (2 Bed, 2 Bath + “Loft”) from December 2017 to March 2018. Gilbert Duenez told us “The loft is the same size of one of the rooms.” This was a blatant lie, the loft is 1/3 the size of the bedroom. My roommate and I were living out of an AirBnB and they didn’t have an open same floor plan apartment for us to see so I guess that’s our fault in trusting Camden.Throughout the year 2 things were clear:1. Camden residents don’t respect their neighbors, dog piss in the halls and elevators on a weekly basis, management doesn’t do anything to fix this issue.2. Camden replaced carpet of apartments at least 2-3 times a month our entire stay.We kept our apartment clean and did not have any pets (dogs,cats, otherwise). When we moved out we were shocked to have a bill to replace the apartments carpet for “heavy urine damage” note: the company they use to manage carpet cleaning and inspection has a terrible reputation.When we asked for proof from Gilbert Duenez he was dismissive and said “a lot of guests have undisclosed pets.” Rather than being amicable we received a letter from a collection agency to settle the remaining bill.Edit: Images shown were taken Day 1 of our lease and as you can see the carpet was FAR from clean and taken care of. Our only assumption is Camden doesnt value their residents, something proven time and time again during our stay, and likes to pass on the costs of their mistakes onto residents trying to leave.

Great amenities and customer service. Apartment repairs could be better. Expensive, but worth it if you can afford it.

I was working in the cyber lounge a few days ago and Gilbert walked in and asked me if I was ok and asked if I wanted the door closed. I had it opened because the AC was not working and it was warm in the room. He was quick to alologize and he informed he would take down this on formation and make sure to ask for service on the AC. I returned to the cyber lounge a couple days later and the AC was working wonderfully! Today I came to the office looking for a lost USB and a friendly resident had turned it in. Come November it will be 3 years since I have lived here. Thank you Camden.

We find out the day of our move in that we need a cashiers check, not a personal check for our monthly rental fee.Also we could of paid this with sending the check a week in advance.This whole misunderstanding is because of a lack of communication from our leasing consultant Kelli R.Really how much time and effort would it take to notify us ahead of time.After we drive all day from Northern California with our pet in the car, and find out we cannot receive our apartment key. Then we have to find a hotel with our pet at the last minute till we can clear this mess up monday morning.Thank you Camden Harbor View for the warm welcome.2016After living here for almost two years we have really enjoyed living here at Camden Harbor View. Living in the heart of downtown Long Beach we are walking distance to a wide variety of entertainment. There is also the few bad side effects of some people who try to ruin your surroundings.We also like to give thanks to the crew at CHV, they have always been there to bring a smile to us. The maintenance team who are there to repair any small problems in our building have been great and accommodating. I have lived at Camden Harbor View for the past 2 and half years and I absolutely love it! The staff is all great and supportive and respond to you ASAP. THe location is perfect and close to just about everything in downtown. If it wasnt a goal of mine to be a homeowner soon... I would live here forever! lol
