We are first time homeowners of a house with a pool. We were way out of our depths at the start of pool season… We had a terrible experience with letting another company open the pool for us and quickly realized we needed a more supportive company. The first time I visited Bonsall, they answered my questions and gave me a rundown of my pool specs and chemical needs. I came in several times to have my water tested and learned something new every time I was there. They were very patient with me and gave great advice.When it came time to close the pool, we reached out to the service team. They were able to come out in reasonable timing and were very professional about the job. At the end of their winterizing, they went through a list of possible repairs we might want to consider for next year. He gave me advice about improving our pool and again was very respectful in regards to how much of an amateur I am! Bonsall will be the only company we use in the future. Looking forward to next pool season!

Horrible experience with their service work on automatic pool cover (replace snapped rope). Tech arrived at my house and went in backyard and started working without even notifying me of his arrival. When he left, he only sent text saying work was done. He had to spend 5 more hours than what was originally estimated (which was fine because it was a complicated job). But three days after work was done, the entire rope came out of track that was worked on. They didnt seem very interested or motivated to repair it, or even look at it. I often had to leave voicemails, as they will not answer phone. I eventually had to go their location, and they still werent interested in helping resolve the issue. They gave me $100 off the original $1,000 to repair a single snapped rope. I paid them and will never go back.

The techs are awesome. Very professional and informative. I had Darren out today to help get my pool set up and he was just as great as he was last year. He shows me what hes doing along the way and hes very helpful. These guys blow the other guys in town out of the water! Thanks Bonsall!

Bonsall Pool & Spa is a wonderful company to work with. Due to Covid, we did not have a huge selection of hot tubs to select from, not their fault but the one we selected we love. The delivery of our hot tub went smoothly and they had plenty of staff available to help with the process of setting up. I would highly recommend Bonsall Pool & Spa to others look for a pool or hot tub.

After leaving my phone number online, they were very speedy about calling me back. I had several questions regarding the chlorine situation this year. They talked me thru it and even had several ideas for later in the season. I felt like they had plans in place and made me feel more confident about starting up our pool.

We’ve been using Bonsall since we moved here three years ago and they have been fantastic! They are quick to test my water in store and are able to help me get it balanced and everything running smoothly. They have gone above and beyond helping me to get my pool opened this season and my technician was awesome! Chris from the service department has spent time helping me over the phone to solve some issues and even came out to help finish my opening when the technician got injured and couldn’t return right away. I’m so grateful and so are my children who are ready to start swimming!

Horrible customer service!! Had them scheduled to come and look at spa and pool. Winterize and show me basic operations. They showed up it was raining a little. Between my wife letting me know they were there and me arriving (15min) later. They had already left. Didn’t say anything just left. After my third email I finally received a response saying the pool and spa needed repairs and they don’t have time in the schedule to do anything. No information on what repairs are needed. Hard to tell with no power to pool controls and trap over pool. Came to them because I heard good things, instead I needed up being blown off. Do not recommend this place at all!!

Service and install went perfectly. Arrived promptly, removed old spa and installed replacement quickly and professionally. Then gave me a thorough tutorial on care and service. Jeramie is a pro, along with Sam and all the service techs. Very happy with Bonsall. Always have been. By far the best!

We have a Hot Spring Grandee purchased from Bonsall back in the 1980s. As it has aged, they have been very helpful finding and providing the parts required to keep it running. Most recently providing with a wiring diagram that will assist me in diagnosing an electrical problem. They really go out of their way to provide great service!

Love Love Bonsall Pool and Spa ! We purchased the hot tub and the Infrared Sauna. Both are fabulous! The Infrared Sauna is great for tired and sore muscles. The infrared penetrates the muscle tissue and allows for greater mobility. Bonsall contracts to have the Sauna built right where you want it with no hassle. The hot tub is a hit with all of our family. It is easy to maintain and the folks at Bonsall are extremely helpful with any questions as well as service.

Instead of helping me getting my hot tub fixed they just discourage me it was going to be to expensive. So they never came . Oh they did say they sell me a new one . Yeah right after took me three weeks to get them on site just to tell me again I could trade it in . Trading it in must have some value still . My recommendation is don’t buy a spa from this company they will never help if you had a problem . First year I was in my house they took care of , kinda they just heat telling me everything was going to be 5000 plus . They did not get their money and I went with some one else . It was just laugh

Bonsall followed up with a problem in a timely manner. I didnt have to track them down. Not a typical trait of companies these days.

They have everything for a spa you need but when it comes to an older pool, they lack in proper knowledge of what you need. I went in for 2 things for a 10 year old pump I was working on and they gave me the wrong parts. Not their fault but they dont know pump parts for a pool. Waste of time if youre in need of pool parts.

Bonsall closed our close this year pool. This is was the first time we have ever closed a pool. I called a different pool company here in Lincoln asking them to close our pool. What a disappointment that turned out to be. I called that company the middle of September setting a date for them to come out and close our pool. All of September and all of October came and our pol was still open. On top of that our pool was cloudy. All that company ever told us was buy more chemicals to clear it up. I would call them asking if they were going to come out. I was always email to calling the asking are you coming out. They would say not this week. Not once did they ever reach out to me.Finally I gave up and called Bonsall pool. I talked to Chris he gave me a date and said we will give you a one hour heads up. True to his word they showed up. Mark from Bonsall pool, showed on time and the exact date we agreed on. He showed and told me how all the pumps work and how to clean the filters. He showed me that our main filter was way, way too dirty to clean our pool. That’s why our pool was cloudy. Chris from Bonsall pool promised me closing the pool would be stress free and it was true.The other company had me stress out for over a month trying to get my pool close. Beside that other company that won’t ever come onsite to help meI’m can honestly say I’m looking forward to next pool season now that I know Bonsall pool we be by my side.

I LOVE Bonsall Pool! They are all professionals and really know what they are doing. I love that when I call in, Andy knows who I am and kindly greets me. This year we were having issues with our filter and Chris came out and left a written note behind letting me know what he found and what he did. I had some questions and called his cell and he walked me right through it. He was great! When I get my postcard to schedule my opening and closing I call Chad and they make sure to make that real easy. When I buy my chemicals they carry them to my car and make me feel like a pampered customer :) Ken and Jeff have a great staff and the longevity speaks volumes about their business leadership. Where else can you be on a first name basis with that many people with their pool company!

Bonsall Pool and Spa is great, especially working with Matt S. Initially, we had reservations about getting a hot tub. Would we use it a lot? Would it be expensive? Would it be a pain to maintain? After talking with Matt, he really helped us understand what would be involved and even suggested a hot tub that would be a great starter for us. Weve now been the proud owner of a hot tub for a few months and we absolutely love it! It exceeds our expectations and we are still super excited with the purchase. Bonsall has gone above and beyond to help us out. On multiple occasions they have made sure we are up and running. Even when I made a last minute call, Chris did everything he could to come in and check out our issues. He fixed the issue immediately and we were set. Just recently we had another problem with the pool and they were in constant communication with me to see what the status was and if we needed help. Mike came out just to take a look at everything so he was prepared if I needed to call for repairs on our pump and the electrical issues. Our pump went out and Grant did all of the researching for us to reslove the issue. I highly recommend Bonsall.

Excellent product but the value is in the service. The team had my tub set and full in under an hour. On time and under schedule. Demod and full training on water conditioning and treatment. Its been a month, my water is crystal clear. The time my family has spent together enjoying our new tubbing lifestyle is worth many times more than the price we paid for our tub. I can not say enough great things about the product and service Bonsall has provided. The hot tub is a game changer for families looking for that one way to re-connect, relax and chat. No phones, tablets or gaming consoles can put that look of pure enjoyment and relaxation on my kids face. My wife is happy, the kids are happy, needless to say; I am happy. Bravo Bonsall Team. We had been going to another pool store in town and decided to try Bonsall as we were struggling with iron in our pool, the other store was not helping us to clear it up...but Bonsall offer us solutions and educated help. We will not going back to that other pool store (SPS) they were all about selling unnecessary products, Bonsall is about the costumer and helping them solve the issue with educated solutions. Bonsall you have a gained a forever customer.

Jeff contacted me immediately to discuss our experience and resolve our concerns regarding the review below. He was so professional and apologized for the miscommunications. Giving 5 stars for his respectfulness and willingness to work with us.TERRIBLE customer service. One of their techs came to open our pool back in May and didnt backwash the filter as part of the process (in addition to leaving our pool cover on half way and not using the proper chemicals). We ended up with tons of dirt and debris in our pool. I called the service manager, and he said we probably needed to change our filter sand so he sent someone back out. Not only did that not fix the problem, but they charged us for two $200 service calls, plus the cost of the sand. We contacted the manager to explain why we didnt think we should be charged for both service calls since the tech created the problem in the first place. He said he would talk to the tech and get back to us. He never did. I sent two follow-up emails that were unanswered. They continued to bill us, adding on service fees each time so we finally had to pay for fear they would send us to collections and damage our credit. Its pretty ridiculous that ignoring a customer is their way of handling an issue.
