Ive had a lot of issues with them. They dont ever want to pick stuff up, when they do..its a miracle. Ive contacted them multiple times to bring me a garbage tote for my bags with no reply. Then get told its extra fee for each bag after 3. Well a tote holds way more.. and if youd bring it. It wouldnt be an issue.

The 1.4 star rating is generous. No normal business would let a 1 star rating fly without taking action. Wow lol update- no, your customer service email is a send off. I just pray for the day your monopoly in our community ends so people dont have to be taken advantage of.

Ive tried to get my recycling picked up for 6 weeks. Its gotten to the point where Ive called them almost every day to every other day for the past 2 weeks. They write a service order, assure me someone will pick it up, then it never gets picked up. I wish it was as easy as not paying my bill.

Horrible customer service. My street continues to be missed for pick up-the most recent being 5/24. I called (528) and was told it would be the next day, no one came. Called again (5/29) and was told it would be 2 days later. Nothing happened. Called a 3rd time (5/31) and had to leave a message. No call back. Called a 4th time (6/3) and was told nothing could be done until our normal pick up day. Customer service person interrupted me to tell me Im not charged for the service anyway. Very rude, did not see a problem in the waste piling up for over 2 weeks. If we could change companies we would.UPDATE: at 1:30 in the afternoon on the day of the 4th call (6/3) an AREA truck pulled up to my house. The driver sat there for a few minutes and then moved on, without taking any of our garbage. Today, (6/4) I received a call, asking if anything was picked up yesterday. When I told them no, they did not understand and said they would speak to the driver, but there was nothing they could probably do since it was due to be picked up on Friday.

The worst business I have ever dealt with. I will be looking for another provider. Today they finally show up after a month of not picking up my trash....for no good reason. Then they left a whole garbage can FULL of trash. Absolutely lazy. No wonder the only job they can get is to pick up trash. Cant even get that right.

Was told my trash was not out . When I know it was. Sad going to start having to take pictures to document that is out the night before. took three days to get ahold of anyone, when I did they said they will only take whats IN the garbage can. Thats nice weve been home accuring more trash during this quarantine. .... Can not wait for the contract to be up.

If I could give no stars I would. I did not ask to get switched to this company, it was automatically done through Quality Disposal after they shut down. I called last Friday to ask for a trash can and let them know I would be two days late on payment. The woman I spoke to said that was fine. This morning the truck picked up all of our neighbors trash but ours, so I called to find out what the problem was. They said I never called last week and that they do not give extensions to customers. So 1. The woman on the phone on Friday lied to me and did not put in the computer what I had requested about the trash can or about my payment. 2. They do not work with customers at all on payment.I had been with Quality Disposal for two years and NEVER ONCE did they do this to me. They had amazing customer service, it is a shame they had to give their customers to such a terrible company. If you have a choice of trash companies, I highly recommend not even trying Area. They are not worth a penny and do not care about their customers at all.

Moved into our new home October 11. As of today we are still waiting on our cans to be delivered. Every phone call ends with the same results..apparently it takes over a month to receive a new shipment of cans. And once said shipment is received we still have to wait even longer for them to have the manpower to deliver them. Their way of handling this..telling us to put our trash bags out and they will be picked up. Not only is it a huge inconvenience to carry multiple bags to the end of the drive way but who wants garage piled in front of their home?! What are we paying for?!

We had better service from them before they gained the city contract. Since then we have had to contact our Alterman in order to get them to complete their tasks they were contracted to do.

Great service. Nice people. Company has rules and standards to abide by and follow them well. If your trash is not out on time or on the ground it will not be picked up. Also, the offer staff are babes.

My credit card is on file to make sure you are paid on time. At least 3 times this year, weve been skipped. My payment is not skipped. After the third call today, Im told we now have to wait until Monday. So thats 3 weeks of trash piling up due to manpower and truck issues. These are not the customers problem. You could have learned a lot from the company you took over.

Im terribly disappointed. After years of good service, suddenly it sucks. And more specifically, the pick up sucks because the route guys dont seem to care anymore.I live at Heinzel Court. Theres one way in/out, so the trucks pass my duplex twice on pickup.I leave my garbage and recycling cans beside the drive for pickup, but out of the way. Every time theyre picked up, the route guys leave the cans IN THE DRIVE. The recycling guys take rejected items and toss them in the yard. And this is an ongoing problem.So today, I get home and find the garbage can is GONE. They left it sitting in front of my neighbors car. They then went passed my house. WTF moment.It kinda seems as if they dont like when the landlord pays for service, because its just gotten worse since we were forced to switch. And adding insult to injury, my rent went up to cover my landlord having to pay my garbage. And apparently hes paying more than we did when we paid it ourselves.

They were good at first I have only been with them for about 3 months and I have now got my second bill from them and also told i was over due and my amount for them is 117. 77 That is outrageous especially since I have not missed a payment I have receipts to prove that and Ive only been with them other said 3 months tried to call to get it taking care of and its virtually impossible to get a hold of them very disappointed with them right now pretty sure theyre overcharging me and Im probably dropping then soon... If you have them make sure you keep track of your bills and how much you pay so they dont overcharge you would not recommend to anyone unless they absolutely need them

$35 a month for Atlanta pickup , claims that its cause they have further to drive , when its almost 3X As much as Lincoln.... Claims the price is that cause Lincolns under a city contract I asked her how come the price didnt go down in Lincoln then? She said I dont know i dont know whats in the contract.

Id give them a zero if I could. We were forced to have them and for the 4th time, they havent gotten our garbage on time. My husband has had to call them every time. Our first week using them, they got our recycling but not garbage and the third time they only emptied half of our garbage. Theyre terrible and just dont seem to care about customer service. I wish I could fire them. Itd be the best thing ever.

They dont care about customer service at all. They skip you often and say they will come back, and dont, so you go 2 weeks without pick up with no appology from them! Would not recommend using their service at all.

The service is absolutely the worse I have ever seen in my life they leave trash on the street and dont bother to pick it up and lets not talk about calling in,what a joke and the kicker is now its worse since they took lincoln over. now that they have a monopoly on the service here in lincoln they think your stuck,NOT, I dont think so!!! This is EXACTLY the type of service I have got out of this company since DAY ONE!!!!! There service is like what they pick up,GARBAGE!!! Oh and I had to threaten to cut there cans up when I cancelled there service because they WOULD NOT come get them even though I cancelled there service.

Area Disposal for the Lincoln area is horrible. The manager Don allows his employees to verbally abuse customers and to destroy customers personal property without any repremands to the employee.They have no care to provide good customer service.

Garbage was supposed to be picked up yesterday morning and they havent gotten anyones trash from this entire street. Both wife and I Tried to call them and kept getting no answer and user busy signal... was finally able to leave a voicemail but who knows whats going on.
