Love this place. I’ve never had a bad experience over the course of 15+ visits with various stylists, but Sandy is my favorite. She keeps my (straight-razor shaved) head and beard looking great.

Ive tried other barber shops in Kennesaw and nothing matches the value compared to Big Shanty Barber Shop. I went to Kennesaw Barber Shop, which was very good, but not worth the price ($30 without the tip). Big Shanty has specials throughout the week, as well as much more reasonable prices (I believe it was $15 for a haircut). All of the ladies are friendly, do a great, great job, and give me exactly what I ask for each time. They crack me up too.They adjusted well to COVID and Ive personally never has to wait too long for a seat or had to worry that a barber I hadnt tried wouldnt do as well.Thanks for making me pretty. Ill try to show up earlier in the day from now on!

Great Barber shop right in the middle of town. Go early because they get busy really quick especially on Saturday. Clean with a great staff I use them every time I need a haircut.

Big Shanty Barber shop is the place to get a great hair cut. The ladies are always friendly and do a great job every time. One notable thing that makes Big Shanty Barber Shop unique is the southern style hospitality. They offer a neck shave and a hot towel which is very soothing. I also enjoy sitting in the rocking chairs while I am waiting. Located conveniently close to Burger-Fi. Sometimes I will walk over and get one of their amazing custard shakes if there is a wait at the barber shop.

I have been coming to the Big Shanty Barber shop for years. I have had nothing but positive experiences everytime. My kids have all had there first haircuts there. This isn’t a barber shop. It’s a great clips with a barbershop sign. Don’t go here for a solid fade.Not even kidding I got gassed by coworkers and everything after getting chopped up here.First time in years I had my ears bit up from the clippers as well.I’ve heard lots of good things but won’t be back.Maybe others have a different experience.

Yes, the neighborhood barber shop where you can share laughs and news from around the town is alive and well! Chelle has been cutting my hair for 10+ years with an attention to detail and great conversation always. The pace is unhurried, the cuts are precise and the banter between Shannon, Chelle, Rachel and the other ladies is always entertaining. Also, they give back to the community and I am glad to support them!

The past two times I have been in I have been skipped over at least twice each time. When I called to complain I was told my name was on a “list” and that I was next, even though I witnessed two people who walked in after being taken before me. It appears that the employees care more about cutting their friends hair and socializing then actually doing their job. Haircuts are decent but terrible service has me going somewhere else now.

I put off a haircuts way longer than I should, and usually look pretty rough when I walk in the door at Big Shanty Barber Shop. No matter who it is that sits me in their chair, I never get a bad haircut from any of these great ladies. Theyre the only ones on earth Ill let go near my beard with a pair of clippers other than myself, and Im never dissatisfied with the results. They work miracles on hair, Im pretty dang ugly but I ALWAYS get compliments after I leave their Barber Shop.

Cant say enough good things about Big Shanty Barber Shop. Ive been to many barber shops in the area over the years and this is my favorite and judging by how crowded it is every time Im in its lots of peoples favorite. It has an old school barbershop feel, with some of the nicest girls youd ever meet working there. They make you feel right at home! Stop in for your next cut you wont be disappointed!

I served in the Marine Corps so finding a high quality barber away from a military installation isnt easy. These Gals are awesome. With rates that beat any competitor out there. A full cut with razor finish and a warm wet towel to clean you off costs me $12.

Ive settled on Big Shanty after trying many different places and having mediocre experiences. This shop has a handful of barbers, of which Ive probably received haircuts from four. The service has been very good every time Ive gone. Except for the occasional long wait, I have no complaints with the service whatsoever.Since I do not have a particular barber that I go in to see, I have gotten a somewhat different haircut each time. The cuts have always looked great. On top of that, the included back-of-the-neck shave helps you look and feel extremely clean.In my opinion, this is a perfect place for a guy to get a consistent, quality cut at a great price.

We have been here several times before; however, todays visit was terrible and I will be taking my business elsewhere. No accountability inside as to whos turn it actually is, and after watching two people be called up and seated that came in after me (Id been waiting for 20 minutes), I left. Was treated like I wasnt even there.

Theyre not as efficient as the military barbers to be found right off base or on base, however, they can expeditiously cut a fade within regulation, for a reasonable price. for quality cuts, one may not find a better barber shop in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. great for servicemen, police officers, security personnel, and any man interested in looking sharp.

I went here today for a haircut and beard trim. The haircut was ok, beard trim was bad. Weird new edge on one side of beard and trimmed a lot more than was asked for. Razor burn on neck was painful. Someone needs to do a training on how to use a razor blade because this is unacceptable.
