I barely wanted to give this place a 1 star....while my daughter was there she got into multiple fights including the staff, they talked about her mental problems and put they hands on her, when she got to fighting with other people the staff encouraged it, and I found this out after we hit the road back home.. Ms. Tammy my daughters night nurse was the only one that was nice and updated me on things, they never answered the phone, well they did but when they transferred me they never answered, I never spoke with the doctor not once to update me on her progress, the therapist called me twice and then she quit...they said she was going to be discharged one week and kept her for a whole nother week without any communication with me....I kept calling and calling...the facilty is 2 hrs from us...and then when I finally picked her up...they lost all of my baby clothes beside 2 outfits...this place was so horrible...I hope my daughter gets better where she never has to go back to another place like this...

Most dont know how to do their own jobs. (Mr.Jay, Mrs.Raquelia, and Mrs.Nichole none of this applies to you. You guys were some of the most caring people Ive ever met) Especially Ms.Miracle and Ms.Brittany, they need more therapy than some of the kids that go there. The staff often encourage fights and purposely trigger kids just because they can. I was a highschool senior when I left and I nearly didnt graduate because the facility refused to send proof to anyone that I was present and that I went to school there. Only when I threatened a lawsuit did it get done. The therapist are nice and the cooks are the sweetest people in the world. But when it all boils down to it, your child isnt safe the second they walk in the door. They spend 95 percent of their time with staff and most staff just take their personal problems out on kids who are already having to rough. I dont even want this place to get one star. It doesnt matter if you participated or not, their idea of treatment is brainwash and abuse. Go to literally any other facility. Please.

Would not recommend trusting your loved ones with this place. They have staff that allow things off camera and my daughter was supposed to see her therapist and psychiatrist once a week minimum and she barley got that. Take your loved ones elsewhere.

My son got a 12 hour pass. I was told to be here at 9 oclock Saturday morning to pick him up. Get here nobody is in the lobby and nobody is answering the phone but I can clearly hear people on the other side of the doors. A few associates even come in and didnt even acknowledge my presence. If you know a parent is going to be here to pick up their child there should be somebody in the lobby waiting on them or answer the phone at least.

Madison Oaks treated my child who was in significant crisis and she is doing well since discharge. The kids who are in the facility may not like it there, but if they are committed to recovery, and work their treatment, they can make progress. It took my child a few months and a lot of bumps in the road to realize this, but once she did the progress was amazing.

That place has been ran into the ground. Kids stressed, and staff not appreciated enough.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!On the first night of my child being there, they lied about something major. The staff is rude especially, Cindy and Andrea (nurse and therapist). They do not keep you informed on your childs well-being and will tell you that they dont know how he or she is doing. They also blame other staff for the business as a whole. Im in fear for my childs safety.

So i got out yesterday,, they have changed from the old ratings,, now theyre Perimeter Behavioral Hospital and the staff are cool for the most part,, it can be chaotic and there are fights but they get stopped immediantly and the kids are taken to a safe room to not trigger others,, they fixed my medication and most kids are really cool,, the nurses are amazing and the therapists are nice,, the food is home cooked and really good,, but u cant have any electronics and there are absurd rules and you have to share rooms if staying short term,, theres tv and you can bring dvds,, yea its alright but i do feel ive gotten much better

I was a current resident at this facility like a month ago Ill be honest I went in there a bad kid and came out a worst. I wasnt a huge drug person till I went there and everyone else was doing it so I started and the struggle was real getting over that. They average about two fights a week most of which end in someone going to the hospital. You have to sleep with one eye open because the other residents might jump you. I know this cause it happened to me twice. At one point I had to go to the hospital because a staff jumped on me and he did get fired because of that but it didnt justify it. Another time I went to the hospital because I had gotten into a fight I did not want to be in and the staff did not break it up so I split my top lip open.they tried to glue it shut but it didnt work. The residents are violent but you have to watch out for the staff more than the residents.

I hated this place when I had my stay there it is supposed to help but instead people had mental outbreaks every night and the outside was fenced in we couldn’t even look outside the windows and we basically slept on changing tables with kindergarten mats with a little pillow built in I would not recommend this place to anyone at all
