Polite, friendly, and professional service. We rented a 2-door side-by-side for a 1/2 day, afternoon. The price is worth the experience! The views were incredible! The trails got rough in spots, but added to the fun! 10/10 I recommend!

My wife and I did the half-day rental and had a blast. We’ve never driven a side by side before and it couldn’t have been easier to get the hang of and have fun with. I do however wish they would’ve supplied a full coverage helmet, instead of the open face style.

This one is difficult to rate. So I will break it down. The actual rental place itself gets a 5/5. Really nice people who work there. We arrived right at 9 and they got us in and out in less then 20 minutes I bet which was amazing. The machine is what I expected so also a 5. That being said, the trails they give you to ride are in my opinion a 1/5. They are just dirt roads through a valley for the most part except for one climb up to a pass but the trail was still easy. The best part about the trails were 3 water crossings, the 4th to complete the loop was to deep to cross. You have to drive about 45 minutes on the paved and dirt road until you reach further out and even the roads further out are used by speeding trucks and other vehicles, so be careful as we almost got hit by a expedition going probably 50. Being in the national forest and so close to grand Tetons I would have expected much more fun mountain riding, technical fun and trees. I’ll rent from this place again for sure if I can make sure to find better trails next time. My over all rating reflects mostly the rental place as I don’t think it would be fair to rate the business as low as the trails.

As easy as it can get! From the online process of booking to the hitch and riding snowmobiles in the wild. The website is very intuitive, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They will answer all of your questions because there are no stupid questions. Their goal is to make sure that your adventure will be smooth and safe as possible!

Our tour was absolutely the highlight of our trip! John S. was our guide. He made us feel safe so we could let go and enjoy our day! The trails were an absolute blast and the vehicles were new and well maintained. The staff was friendly and the office was professional and clean.

We had a great experience renting a car and renting side-by-sides for the day! We booked our trip for July 2021, and like everybody else most rental car prices were through the roof. This local rental place was much more affordable and we got a great car out of it. We rented a giant suburban, which was new for us and took a bit of getting used to driving, but they made pick-up and drop off super easy. Not only that, but they were extremely accommodating. We did a side-by-side rental when we returned our car, and they let us take the side-by-side out an hour early as the rental car drop off time was earlier. All in all great place for an affordable car and fun adventure!

4 wheeler trip-Sorry, this trip with my son and wife was not pleasant at all... According to the website- It boasts the best views of the Tetons, as well as beautiful ATV trails that wind through forested valleys and along spectacular open ridges.These were not beautiful trails... What they do not tell you is that these trails are very steep (uphill and down) and most of them have very loose large river rock that the makes it hard to keep the machine on the path.I was driving with my wife on the back and we literally could not keep up with the others as I wanted to insure that she was comfortable and not hanging on for dear life for 5 hours. The guide kept insisting that we speed up but we were only less than a minute behind the group. I did not feel comfortable going any faster and the trails were super rough. However, I did speed up a bit but my wife was absolutely miserable riding on the back and taking all of the jarring bumps.The views were very pretty when we got to an overlook, but just not worth the fast paced, bumpy rides to get to each one.As an added bonus, the guide told a very off color joke during lunch. You never know who can be offended by what might seem funny to you. We have ties to the NBA and any Kobe Bryant jokes are not funny at all to us.So there you have it. If you are into paying money for a fast paced, bumpy and jarring dusty ride then this is for you.If you are looking forward to being able to enjoy the wilderness as well as beautiful ATV trails that wind through forested valleys and along spectacular open ridges. then this definitely is not for you as this is not even close to the actual ride.

This place was awesome! The staff was very helpful helping us with the gear and with information about the trails and advice to make our day great. The snowmobiles were unbelievable machines... the truck and trailer rental to tow them to the trails couldnt have been easier. The trails and the experience was at the top of the entire families all time list!

Excellent tour! Beautiful views of the Tetons! And our guide Miller was humorous, fun, and shared some interesting facts about the views, plants, and wildlife in the area. Highly recommend the tour added bonus ask for Miller as your guide.

Very nice place to rent from! Snowmobiles were like new and ran perfect, no issues for the approx 100 miles we put on them. Trails were groomed and in good condition. Girls at the front desk were helpful and had everything ready when we got there. All gear included with our rental too. Overall very nice, would rent from here again! Highly recommend

Took out a side by side on a self guided tour. Quick checkin and off we went. Great atv and a great time out in the forest. Can’t go wrong here.

This place is great. Rented a truck, trailer, and sled. Affordable, well organized, and overall a great experience. Way easier to load and unload the sled than I thought. Went out to granite hot springs, enjoyed a soak with the wife without the dreaded tour group. Super nice people, give them a ring if you have any questions! -RR

I would not recommend this place. They did not give proper instructions or guidance on where they tour would take us. I had 2 children in the back seat, and they failed to inform us that they were taking us on a one lane road. They also did not give proper instructions on what to do if another RTV came in the opposite direction on the one lane road. We did not what to do, so we went up the cliff and our RTV tipped over. If we were told that we were being taken on a one lane road, we never would have went. Also, if they would have told us to go perpendicular to the cliff if another vehicle came down the road, we would never have tipped over. It was frightening experience for my children, and of course Jackson Hole Adventure made me responsible for damages. After being told the cost wouldnt be more than a couple hundred dollars, they charged me $1200. Very unprofessional. Stay away.

Although we didnt rent a SxS, Sarah was very helpful in getting us an ORV permit after getting the run around from the USFS. If we ever want to rent in the future, I definitely know where we will go. Thanks again Sarah

Had the best day renting snowmobiles from JH Adventure Rentals. The sleds were basically brand new and the staff was so friendly. It was so nice that they provided the clothing to keep us warm so we didn’t have to pack it. The clothing was like new as well. Highly recommend renting from here, we looked at other places but wouldn’t go anywhere else after our great experience.

What a great experience! These guys are so efficient and pleasant. They answered all of our amateur questions and made us feel comfortable with the equipment. Also, the gear is complimentary with your rental. Speaking of the gear, it was like new and very warm. I can’t say enough good things about yesterday’s experience. A final note... we only ended up here because the guided tours were booked, but this was a blessing. We passed multiple guided tours that seemed quite boring. We were able to follow the trail on our on and stop and go as we liked. I highly recommend this business.

The prices here cant be beat for 4 hours of ATV fun. The trails are slightly challenging in a couple of spots if another ATV is approaching coming toward you. The views are insane. Bring ear protection if you can. The side by side ATVs are really loud. Fun fun fun. The staff was also super nice, both on the phone and in person. Great experience overall!!

Terrific time renting ATVs half day here. Flat Creek and Curtis Canyon were so much fun and the staff were super sweet and easy to deal with! Will come back next time were in town!

We had a great time snowmobiling to Granite Hot Springs! I was incredibly nervous about doing this on our own... my husband, 11 year old son, and myself. However, the employees at JHAR put my mind at ease. We rented two snowmobiles, a one seater and a two seater, as well as a tow vehicle with trailer. Warm weather gear was also included in our rental. We already had snow bibs and warm jackets on, but we did use their goggles, boots, and helmets, of course. There were plenty of people on the trail so I did feel that we would be safe if something were to happen. My husband was able to easily load/unload the snowmobiles onto the trailer. If you have ever loaded/unloaded four wheelers or jet skis, you should be able to load/unload these with ease. If doing the Granite Hot Springs trail, be sure to take the short trail to the right, before you get to the soaking pool and take in the waterfalls! Thanks for a great day exploring the beauty of Wyoming!

We had an all day side by side rental for 4. The entire experience was great- from pick up to drop off and in between. They provided us with a detailed map and gave us more instructions and pointers prior to our departure. We did several creek and river crossings, getting drenched completely. We dried out as we picniced on the large rocks by the river. It was awesome. Highly recommend!!

The ‘owner’ or whoever waited on us, seriously needs a course in customer service. I get it. He responds to many repeat questions. We were new to tackling ATV side-by-sides but found no comfort with his spiel. His demeanor was grumpy & sarcastic. Nevertheless, our group enjoyed ourselves and if you want an adventurous trek into the Natural Elk Refuge, you won’t regret it. Be prepared for a LOT of dust and bumps though! We were on the 4 hour tour. The ‘upper’ trek became quite narrow and rugged! I guess that’s what adventurous people like! Just would have been a lot better to have a friendly approach from the get-go.

Took my wife, a 5X, stage 4 breast cancer survivor, to Jackson Hole for her 40th birthday. We rented 2 ATVs from JH Adventure rentals for a day on the trails of Shadow Mountain. When we arrived at the rental location, a heavy set older woman, who seemed very disheveled and half drunk, was there to give us directions to the trail site. She gave us 4 separate maps, and explained, seemingly quite confused herself, several different sets of directions to us. After correcting herself each time, and admitting that the last directions she explained were wrong a few times, she drew a route on 2 of the maps explaining how to get there. We took her final draft route, getting lost along the way. After stopping to ask a sheriff that we bumped into to clarify her self drawn route, and showing him her map, and after said sheriff saying that her map was incorrect, we found the final location that she told us to go to. It was the wrong place. I called and spoke to her on the phone, to which she yelled at me, blamed me for getting her ditections wrong, and told me to come back for a refund. I didnt take her advice, and found the right place using my GPS, which was 20 miles away from where she told me to go. 3 hours after acquiring the ATVs, we made it to the trails. The trails were AMAZING! ATVs were not, and took a few minutes of shaking them front and back to get them into gear. We had a great time on the trails, awesome pictures and views of the Tetons. When we returned the ATVs to the shop, I attempted to explain to the woman how she had wasted half of our rental time sending us on a wild goose chase with completely false directions. She proceeded to yell at me, blaming me, and being completely unprofessional and rude. So, after being belligerently screamed at and told to leave the store, and wasting half of my rental time lost from bad directions, I give this place 1/2 of a star, all because of the lady with a half a brain. She has no business in customer service, and this entire experience would have been 5+ stars had it not been for her involvement. She should be fired immediately for the way we were treated, and the business should refund our money for ruining our day. I will follow up if they correct themselves. Until then, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BUSINESS!

I can’t say enough about the ATV tour in the Tetons we took with Denise. What a wonderful guide! She was friendly, funny, relaxed, knowledgeable and accommodating. I will say this tour, in my opinion, was not for 1st time or beginner drivers. The terrain was difficult at times, and a challenge to navigate, which we loved as experienced drivers. This was the best ATV tour we’ve ever taken. So many are mundane. Denise stopped several times to point out huge grizzly bear tracks. How she saw them, we’ll never know. The lunch was excellent, we had our choice of sandwiches in advance. The tour was the longest we’ve ever taken and we throughly enjoyed every minute. Thanks for a great day! Great group! Totally prepare you for the ride. Listen to them and stay on the trails unless you want to spend the day digging out or something else! They include all the gear, helmet, coat, gloves, snowsuit. I recommend taking them up on it all and take off what you dont need if you get hot. We went to the hot springs trip and played around in the fields a little between. If you do the hot springs, bring a TOWEL and all your hot spring stuff! We were there on some of the coldest days of the year so the tub was luke warm. Snowmobiles were fun! We got one of each, two seater and sports. Both great!

These people are very unprofessional. I don’t recommend them at all. We called them to make a reservation For ATV and confirm it With my credit car for my daughter with a valid driver license and before we started our 2 hours driving to get to Alpine.Once we arrived they refused to rent it to her and tried to force us to rent an ATV more expensive and for the entire family. We lost our trip there, the time and the time . Don’t trust on them

Let me concur with Brian Azarello. Do not trust these shysters with your credit card. Also, read the insurance information carefully. It will be hard because they wait to spring it on you the day you show up and youre excited about hitting the trails, river, whatever. They could easily send it far in advance so you had time to peruse it. But thats what shysters do. If theres an accident theyre still going to stick you for as much as they possibly can. That could be upwards of $2,000. I had to report them to my credit card company for unauthorized use. Renter beware!Response: Hey Dave - no one gives a damn how many years you and your wife have been in business. Lol. Freakin shyster.

We rented a side by side here last summer. It was super fun! We went down some back roads along the river and ended up at this beautiful lake. Really nice and accomodating staff. Highly recommend.

Great experience. The staff were very laid back and we got two side by sides the day of. They expect you to have fun with the equipment and we definitely did. Gave great advice as to where to go for great views. We did a half day rental due to our timing but a full day would be well worth it.

We rented a travel trailer and SUV. The tutorial was user friendly and the equipment was in great condition! I would recommend this for your Grand Tetons/Yellowstone getaway! First time RV renters will find this to be a great business to use!

Our group of 6 rented snowmobiles out of the JHAR Alpine location. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The rental includes any gear you need out of a fully-stocked gear room and the equipment we rented was in like-new condition. We had a great day on the trails. If you have any concerns dont hesitate to discuss them with the staff. Our group raised a small issue that we were not satisfied with and the management at JHAR were understanding and made every effort to ensure that we left happy, which we did.

Staff was friendly during the covid event. Just a FYI that a 2 seater side by side has no roof if you want any kind of shade on your trip and there is no windshield so when you are getting too and from the trail head you will get blasted in the face non stop until you hit the trail head and have speeds of 20 or below. We have ridden many side by sides and the trail was fun but the too and from was my worst experience I have ever had in a side by side.

It was great that all snow gear comes with the snowmobile rentals. The snowmobiles were really nice and had heated handles and seats. They even allow you to rent a truck to pull them and had it all ready for us. It was much less expensive than paying for a tour. We went to the hot springs and it was a winter wonderland.

Harris was super cool and helped me and my wife out. 5 star service. Trail was easy to read on map and came with spectacular views on top of crystal canyon.

Great service

We rented a street-legal side-by-side and spent an entire day exploring trails suggested by the rental company. This was one of our more expensive excursions, but we enjoyed our time. A cooler, picnic lunch, jacket, gloves, and sunscreen are recommended. During our August trip mornings were cool and even chilly at 30 mph. Things warm up quickly though.

Complete Indifference to Customer SafetyMy daughter and I took the ATV tour. My daughter was following the guide and trying to keep up with her. After completing 75% of the tour, my daughter lost control of the vehicle, veered off the trail and crashed into a tree. She broke her left wrist and right wrist, arm, and elbow. It took a five hour surgery to repair all the damage. She rolled down an embankment. she was unable to move and the ATV was perched above her. Fortunately, two customers on the tour stayed with my daughter and I. The wife comforted my daughter and the husband leaned against the ATV to make sure it didnt roll onto my daughter. The guide just called the park service and then sat on the trail socializing. Because of the remoteness of the location, it took 1hour for the park service to arrive and two hours to get to the hospital. The park service and hospital were great.The hospital is 2 miles from the ATV office. I called the ATV office and asked for a ride from the hospital to get my car at the ATV office. They agreed under the ruse of being helpful. Once at the office, they directed me into the office to get my credit card and put a $3,000 charge on it to pay for repairs to the ATV (actual damage was $1,500). They also put a document in front of me that they wanted me to complete so they could use it against me in the event of a lawsuit (I am not suing).The ATV company is passionate about the health and safety of their ATVs. They are indifferent to the health and safety of their customers. Their customers are just tourists who come and go so why should they care if they live or die.I understand ATV riding involves risk. But the ATV ride is marketed to tourists with no experience ATV riding or on Wyoming trails. The ATV company and guide have an ethical, not legal, responsibility to look out for the people they are leading. The way the tour is structured the guide drives as fast as they can on the trail and only looks back at turns to see if the group is together.I hope future tourists will choose to use a company that cares about their health and safety.

My husband and I took the ATV Tour of Shadow Mountain while in Jackson Hole. Dino was our guide. We each drove our own ATV and I had never really driven one before; only ridden on the back one time. Well, in the beginning I did have some trouble with steering the ATV and actually ran off the trail. Dino immediately noticed that I needed some time to get used to driving and we went back on the larger gravel trail up the mountain. He was very patient with me and I ended up feeling very secure in driving the ATV myself. We went to the top of Shadow Mountain and had a delicious lunch provided by Jackson Hole Adventures while enjoying the wonderful view. Dino took care of everything. He hooked up and unhooked the ATVs quickly and made sure we both felt comfortable driving. He was just great and very friendly. It ended up being an awesome day and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We rented a pontoon boat for a family outing at the Alpine Wy location. Got a float tube to go with it. Took a little time to check out but they were really busy. The guy said he was going to put a strap on the overhead canopy but he forgot when we left and we towed it to the lake with no problem. However, on the return the next day, the canopy ripped even though we secured it as he had shown us. The next day they called and said the repair was not a big deal and there would be no extra charge. I know they can not always do this for everyone, but it was nice they worked with us on the matter. The grandkids had a blast on the boat and we will be back soon to get a faster one. Good people to do business with.

We had a blast ripping around on the Polaris powder sleds. Harris is a legend. He will give you great advice on where to go and how to ride.

Great group of people at Jackson Hole Adventure Rentals! This was my first time renting form them as I normally rent from Togwotee but they had no rentals available at the time. We showed up and the sled were ready and loaded on a trailer waiting for us. We rode for 4 days at Togwotee and had a minor issue with one of the 850s and they brought us a new sled within 2 hours and swapped them out. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I will definitely be renting from them again.

Rented from Jackson Hole Adventures for the fourth season in a row. Everything always went smoothly. Brian seemed to man the AM shop in Alpine and has always been personal and easy going. Well this year after 15 times out west, I hit a tree. It was pretty light and didnt affect the performance of the sled, but you still get the feeling you are in big trouble. I called in that night on their VM that that damage happened and that it didnt need to be dealt with till I turned the sled back in. I told them what they would need IMO and to call me if any issues. They did not call. When I turned it in the next day with tail between legs, Stephanie and Vince could not have responded better. Very friendly, very understanding. I had wondered if this damage was going to be an opportunity to really stick it to me, but after talking with them, I did not feel that was going to happen. They gave me an estimate and said they estimate high and would get a final number once they went through it. Vince said he appreciated that I called in so they could be ready to repair it quickly. A few days later, I got the bill and it was lower than estimated and seemed to cost what it would have cost me if it was my sled anyway, save some labor. Overall, I have no feedback on how this process could have been improved. I feel obligated to keep supporting their business. Great job.

Used JHAR to rent some sleds for the day (unguided). Super easy to make reservations and staff was very helpful. They will even provide you a vehicle to tow the trailer for a modest $50. Would definitely do business with again!

We took a side by side out for an all day excursion on Monday. We had a blast!! The staff is knowledgeable amd friendly. Gave us a map amd got us on our way quickly. Most fun we had all trip and definitely the best bang for your buck!!!

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would come back here in a heartbeat. They also informed me and my father about other services they offer and they all seem very cool. We rented two motorcycles for a week and it was a breeze. Their equipment all seemed very well taken care of and current. I didnt see a single vehicle that wasnt in top shape. Everything looked as if it were someones personal property.

If your choosing between rental companies in Jackson, look no further. The crew at Adventure Rentals hooked us up with snowmobiles that ran great, and directed us towards the best trails where we saw only a few other people each day....lots of fresh powder fields.

Had a great trip with a 4 person self guided ATV trip. They provided a map of routes and directions on how to find the trails. Super easy process.

Rented a jet ski for 4 hours. Paid an extra $45 for the fuel and to be dropped off/picked up. They tried to drop us off at a terrible location close to their store. They complained that we asked to be taken a few miles away to a better beach. Jet ski started beeping that it was almost out of gas after less than 3 hours of riding. Waited for an hour to be picked up. Staff and the owner were rude, dismissive, and argumentative when we expressed frustration with our experience and asked for some of our money back.

Very friendly staff. Really made renting a snowmobile very easy and stress free. They borrow you everything you need as far as gear. Which was great because we where very unprepared. Will defiantly be back.

Great place to rent all sorts of fun toys!

I have used Jackson hole adventure rentals a couple of times now for both bmw and Harley Rentals. I recommend them highly. They are a great bunch of people and I have always appreciated their simplicity and ease when renting their vehicles. Looking forward to my next trip out to Jackson Hole!

Did a full day, great trails and staff, all around wonderful experience

At first we were hesitant with all the negative reviews. Decided anyway to book a 4 door Jeep for two days. Staff booked it over the phone for us and upon pick up it was there waiting for us. They supplied a nice map of the trails and were full of knowledge. Could not have had a better experience.

This is my second year renting sleds from these people and they always have excellent customer service and always take care of you. They even stayed late for my drop off and didn’t charge me extra. See you guys next year!!

Great service. Answer all my questions about where to go, weather, what to expect, any contingencies. They had everything you need there. These guys are really squared away.

Save yourself the hassle and go to Leisure Sports or Togwotee Adventures. After reading several other reviews, my friends and I can empathize with many others out there who were extorted by Dave. His moral compass is way out of line and hell attempt to fraudulently charge your credit card for unauthorized items.Response to Dave: The sled I personally rented was returned without damage and my review is a reflection of my personal experience with you and your company.,

Adventure Rental employees were very nice and friendly. The ride was nice. The trails for half day ride were basically vehicle drivable gravel roads. Not true ATV trails. Not sure what the trails were like that are further away.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They were flexible to work with our schedule a great place to rent snowmobiles and equipment.

Great people, equipment, and gear. Perfect spot for riding in some beautiful country!

The people that run the place are super helpful and nice. The SXS , UTV we rented was in excellent condition. The trails are awesome. Lots of trails off the main trails.
