Excellent apartment that is close by a lake with running trail, restaurants, and groceries. We love the openness of the apartment layouts. Leasing office is great and friendly. Cool amenities like a movie theater and shuffleboard and dry cleaning service. I also appreciated their part in recycling.

I decided to move here because Marielle made me and my family feel so comfortable upon our visit here in a way that let me know, this is the place, along with finding the perfect apt. Joshua is also wonderful. He welcomed us on move-in day, showed us to our apt and answered every question and got us set up. GREAT service from him all the way around. Each time I called (even now), any person I talked to was helpful, courteous and professional. Hayden, one of the maintenance guys, is doing well in taking care of a few things for us, as well. We appreciate his work!With any kind of business, no matter how great the product youre being sold, SERVICE is everything; and thats what keeps you coming back. Well, EVERYTHING has been great here - from the initial visit, to the service and personal interactions - and we couldnt be happier. I anticipate us being here for awhile. Its great to be home!

I had a washer Issue and made a ticket late Sunday night. It was promptly fixed the next day thanks to Joseph Hagood. He was the epitome of professionalism. I even had a few items that I forgot to include in a ticket and he immediately took care of them.The maintenance staff does a good job of answering the tickets placed. Greg, Adrian, and David all answered my tickets within hours of them being placed. The problems were fixed quickly and effectively. I am happy with the continued good results.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. The leasing team can only be described as leeches, they are just trying to cheat you out of money. I was here for only 3 months and before I could finalise the lease, and WHILE I was in talks with them, they raised the rent by $400 arbitrarily. They also charged me exorbitant moving out fees on top of me agreeing to pay a cleaning charge. They also never told me about the lease auto renewing without notice; I had to ask them 20 times before they admitted I had to give a formal notice if I didn’t want to auto renew. Worst housing decision I have ever made; so glad I didn’t have to stay for long.

We are on our third lease here at AMLI Las Colinas and we are excited about our fourth! The staff here has taken great care of us and we have enjoyed both the apartment homes weve lived in on this property. The neighborhood is the best and has so much to do; its a city feel in a quiet, safe area!

***BLACK MOLD***I viewed this building last year and considered moving in. I am glad that I did not.My friend lives at AMLI. The snowstorm in early February 2021 caused a leak in his wall. Despite an official maintenance request, they made no repairs. Even now, they are still finding mold growing in their floor and windowsill. AMLI appears to not care about their safety or wellbeing and is happy to collect a check from them every month. His lease buyout is 2 months rent and they would not budge on that, despite him having black mold growing in his unit.

I must brag about this incredible team during this winter storm. They took care of all of us. They worked day and night running around the property helping all of us. We had a lot of flooding in the hallways and apartments. Ive never felt so welcomed and safe. We are lucky to have a great management team to take care of us we were without power for a week without water for three days, but they offered us showers and gave us water to flush our toilets. They gave us food and water. I cant brag enough about the experience we had during this difficult time. I will never move out. Im not sure I could trust another management company or love another apartment community like this one. We love you Amli!

Worst apartment ever. The staff will lie and deceive you in countless ways to get the next sale. Claudia Reyes (leasing agent) is one of the worst people Ive ever come across. Do not give this place a single dime.While apartment hunting, I told their entire staff that our highest priority for an apartment was being able to fit our large furniture. They assured me they could fit everything just fine (I shared the demensions) but neglected to mention their elevators had been broken for weeks at that point, and they remained broken for the majority of our lease. So we lived in a completely unfurnished apartment for the duration of our lease, aside from a mattress that we were able to get up the stairs. And we wasted money on deliveries that had to be refused.They had every opportunity to warn us about how difficult it might be to live there with the elevators out of service. They also completely messed up our parking instructions, which led to us getting our car towed - and no, they did not pay for it.Now, I just learned that because we didnt give 60 day notice, our lease is going to auto renew. No warning given to us whatsoever. My husband and I have lived in 10+ apartments and have never come across an auto-renew lease. Youd think that the staff would at least warn you!The staff at Amli is inhumane. They have zero sympathy and will proudly tie you up into contracts you cant get out of. Do not live here!

I have lived at three AMLI complexes over past three years. This is by far the worst of the three. Over the past year the grounds around complex became strewn with trash. The elevators broke constantly which makes for a long climb if you are parked on 5th floor. Cars got broke into. The worse thing is as all the dog poop everywhere. Girlfriend stepped in it a couple times. For the money it would be best to look elsewhere.

This is by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in, all the appliances are super noisy, dirty environment, rude management, fire alarms going off randomly, no compensation when the units were inhabitable for 2 weeks... management trying to kick us out while asking us to pay over $3000 to break out lease just one month of living here because we were calling in several work orders a week for items that should have been fixed before the unit was released to us.I can go on and on. I would rather pay more for my peace of mind.

They towed my car last night. In a decade and a half of renting, Ive never lived anywhere where they thought it was a great idea to tow residents. Ive never been towed. As if that wasnt bad enough, I had to call off work and spend all morning trying to get my car out of the impound. I get it though. I was the fool who made the choice to come and live here. Fortunately, my decision to do so is not irrevocable. In a couple of months I get to make a new one. The lesson that I learned today is that no community has earned the right to be this disruptive to people who pay to live there. Im not a charity case, I dont live here for free and pay my rent on time. I will certainly never live at another AMLI community again. Enjoy that $300. I hope it was a good use of your advertising dollars.

I’m really disappointed with this apartment complex. I am not a resident, but I viewed these apartments today and did not feel welcomed at all by the facility. Very unprofessional, not helpful, and judge mental. I had high hopes when viewing these the apartment complex is overall beautiful. But the staff, management turned me completely off.

My experience since moving here has been the worst by far, beginning with communication issues with the leasing team when first arriving, submitting several work orders to fix issues that were never checked before moving in, fire alarm is going off random times throughout the days and nights, etc. I can go on. However, the maintenance team is very responsive to submitted orders. It just takes multiple orders to resolve something.I tried speaking to the team about the issues with just the unit Im in and the person I spoke to made it seem they wanted to kick me out for complaining about the issues. Literally, saying it doesnt seem like youre a good fit for the community and automatically sent information about breaking the lease to move out. That was very unprofessional and made it seem like they didnt care about their residents. You would think a community would show a level of concern or do something for residents having legitimate reasons and proof of an uncomfortable stay.Sad to say, but i wouldnt recommend anyone to stay here. I am hoping the remainder of my stay will change my mind.

Staff really took care of me when I visited the property for the first time. Brittney went above and beyond to make sure I found the perfect apartment for my needs. We walked several units and I decided to submit my application after the tour because the property had all the amenities I was looking for and customer service was outstanding. Moved in last weekend and so far, so good. Love my unit! Residents are really friendly. Parking can get a little tight in the evenings, but I’ve always found parking and use the elevator to get to my floor, so it hasn’t been a bad experience. Complex is very well maintained and there is a huge pet community here which is awesome because my dog child has made many friends. I definitely recommend complex.

EDIT 11-2019 :Still love this location and the management team have been wonderful. My wife and I are moving in 2020 but will always remember this building in a good way. The maintenance staff are top notch and the management / leasing team are fabulous. We will miss AMLI Las Colinas.Original Post:Just moving in and already have the best start with no issues. As with any new place the make ready missed two minor items, but maintenance took care of it super fast.Office staff was very nice during the approval and subsequent back and forth on unit, parking, etc. They even let me tour again for measuring prior to move in. Staff has also been great post move in as well. Not the normal signing of a lease and then you are a number.The unit is amazing and the view is to die for. Took a day or two to get used to looking out over the water. To say the place is quiet is an understatement, you may hear an occasional door in the hall area or see a neighbor every now and then, and that is it.Will update over time , but as of now this is the nicest place Ive had the ability to call home and mean it.

The office staff is second to none. They always try to help, with any issues or information we need, about the complex and surrounding area. Very personable and inviting.The maintenance crew, on the property, are equally as helpful and try to remedy, any issues, that might come up, as quickly as possible.The entire office staff and maintenance crew are fantastic!

I am so thankful I stumbled upon these apartments! The apartments are a great value and absolutely beautiful. The staff is awesome and accommodating and truly cares about their residents. Maintenance is print and polite. Anthony is definitely the best and most patient leasing agent Ive ever worked with. Not every thing is perfect (parking, ahem!) but the pros out weigh the cons.

Absolute disgrace of customer service. My girlfriend and I have to be as close to ideal tenants as possible. We are on our second lease, and thankfully we changed our 12 month to a 5 month to get out of here. The security gate for the garage is always disabled and stays open for days at a time. There have been habitual car break ins and thefts.Our upstairs neighbor apparently Irish step dances every night after 9pm. We have made several formal complaints and were told the next offense would be punishable by eviction. However they are still thumping away every night.Today was the final straw. Unannounced, they were priming the apartment next to ours for paint with zero warnings of potential fumes/hazards. I returned from the gym to a sick girlfriend and an unlivable apartment. My entire unit stunk like chemicals/primer. My girlfriend made a few calls, with no solution, she walked to the office and was initially told to “wait until Monday”. WHAT A JOKE!.. she has severe allergies, and acrylic is one of them. This clueless, carefree employee told her it was “organic paint”.I then went to the office after evacuating my girlfriend and dog. The blatant disrespect and lack of concern was astounding. Admittedly , I was very flustered. However the complete disregard was a disgrace. This poor excuse for an employee could not care less. It was 5 minutes prior to closing so she couldn’t be bothered. After on final DRAMATIC eye roll as if I was ruining her evening, I had some choice words and left the building. I am now eating fast food in my car with my dog and girlfriend. I will most likely have to pay for a pet friendly hotel for the night. I am baffled at the negligence.

Lived here for 5 months while staying in Texas for job training. Terrible customer service and there was constant construction. A bunch of hidden fees and they try to charge you whatever you can once the lease ends. I paid a pet fee and then was charged more money after I moved out because they tore up the carpet after I moved out (for some reason???) and claimed my dog “peed” in the apartment which I know never happened (they are trained to pee outside and were taken out all of the time and there was never pee for me to clean up). So I paid $500 in total to have my 2 dogs live with me. On top of that, the walls are incredibly thin and there will be people in the pool area at midnight on the weekends screaming and because nobody is at the front office nothing can be done. The key cards do not work half of the time to get into the building or garage so you will be stuck waiting for someone to come out so you can go in. There’s also constant dog feces outside the apartments including on the sidewalks (which I also understand is an owners responsibility to clean up but should be the apartments responsibility to make sure the residents clean up after their animals or do it themselves). The view of the lake is nice to have when walking outside and it is convenient to get to some good dining areas and the city. However there are a lot of apartment complexes around that I had friends living in and they did not have any of the problems I had at this one.

I really feel that he genuinely care about my living experience because he is very attentive with addressing each of my concerns when they arise. His communication is very kind, patient and professional and I feel like a valued resident because of the care the whole team has shown me. Maintenance team is always On It! I am very impressed by the level of care and professionalism I have experienced here. All of the leasing agents are very friendly and I am blown away by how they go above and beyond to resolve any issues the tenants may have. Even though, many business are shut down right now because of COVID-19, the Amli office team has been very prompt in responding to my messages and requests to ensure that I am happy living here. Great place to live. The apartments are classy, well maintained, and reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and manage the place well. The only issues are the lack of parking and frequent elevator breakdowns. The buildings are right on the lake, which is wonderful to walk along day or night. There is a DART line that goes to the airport 5 minutes away walking. Super convenient location to live in the DFW area.

When I first moved in I had a lot of issues with the leasing office and the apartment in general. About six months ago we had a switch in our team at the leasing office and it was been amazing ever since. Want to really give props to the whole team for being down to earth, super helpful and all around nice when dealing with the residents. They’ve planned a lot of new events, services and fun stuff over the last six months. New carpet is being installed, att fiber being added, new paint in the building and even the pool is actually clean all the time now. Six months ago I would not recommend here even as much as I love the apartments now I can definitely recommend it all around.

My honest opinion is that the apartments are just great, you can always have noise issues, it all depends of the neighbor upstairs, I had them and I decided to move to the top floor, service is great and quick, they get things fixed the same day you open the request or the day after.About parking, I was towed away and payed $300, yes, bad but the rules are written and visible for everybody, I didnt pay attention like some of the people providing those bad reviews. I dont blame AMLI for that, we have to live by rules and respect them. The building is clean and the area is just great. I recommend to choose the top floor certainly and park in the allowed areas. AMLI Personnel is very friendly, Brittnie will help you out and get things done super quickly.The area is as well clean, nice friendly people walking around with their dogs, restaurants and bars close, nice walking/running area in general.

Awful service. I was a visitor here and parked in the visitor parking and got towed within the 12 hour parking limit. The staff was unforgiving and harsh, and would not provide me with an email to contact the property manager. The young man working on staff rudely stated “were done here”, and I said very little except that the execution of their policy was poorly handled and placed and it was an improvement that could be made. Both staff member a young woman and young man were rude and completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and incompetent. Sadly, this is an unfortunate example of the fact that the property is poorly managed. I will likely be contacting the better business bureau if this is not resolved immediately.Update: 6/16/2018I contacted the Manager/Assistant Manager Katrina, and she exemplified the same kind of behavior that the rest of her staff portrayed. Complete unwillingness to see that the way they have implemented the policy for their parking garage needs improvement. Entirely dismissive of the situation, like I wanted or deserved to pay $300.00 for a situation that was completely unwarranted. Lying to me saying that this was a one-off situation, but when I let her know I had looked at other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue for her business. She raised her voice and began to argue that her staff were correct, the policy was correct, and that they would be doing nothing to correct the implementation of the policy or refund the charges. As a business professional I could tell that the thing that bothered them most was that I was staying cool and collected as I spoke with them and this seemed to enrage them. As a business, their staff does not know customer service, and are not willing to do anything to assist situations or resolve complaints. I called the AMLI corporate number to let them know with no response. I will be reporting to BBB about this incident.

The phone number goes to a third party call center and they email the leasing office to contact you... but youll never hear from them. Horrible Experience Please Read! 1st off construction everywhere, and they let huge equipment stay in the apt areas, The road is filled with construction material/supplies, I had 2 flat tires. 2) Very very difficult to speak with anybody in their front office, They use an automated service and it is routed to an operator that leaves them a email, dont expect call backs. You must/have to go in if you want to get something done. 3) fee fees fees, and hidden costs. I signed a (4) month lease here, worst mistake ever. They added on an incredible amount of fees to my account in total im disputing over $1,200. This is a (60) notice property to vacate they will not give you notice, and will increase your rent 25% the day after My final month was $1700-$1800 when you add up all the fees. Dont live here

The amenities dont make up for the predatory towing practices.Edit: Sure thing. Since you will do all you can to help, you can stop selling the tow rights to your garage. Your tenants pay $1200-$2200 a month to live there and then you turn around and sell them as a product to your tow company when one of their guests parks in guest parking, is unable to register in the Faraday cage that is the garage (or because the site is down again,) and forgets about it by the time they get inside (or the registration site comes back up.) Your tenants guests vehicles are towed to an actual junk yard in the sleaziest part of town in a ten mile radius, and if you manage to get there within 12 hours of them towing it, it only costs your guests $298 to get out. Youre not towing abandoned vehicles, youre towing regulars that miss a registration for whatever reason, and swiping them at the first available opportunity. Im sure legally you have every right to do it and pocket whatever theyre paying you for the opportunity, but your prospective tenants should be aware.

I have lived almost 6 years now, however not continuously but rather at two different times. My recent term has been almost 4 years and I cant wait for my lease to expire. I am an excellent tenant who pays my rent on time, always. I do ask for occasional package deliveries since the office weekday hours are aggravatingly inconvenient. My apartment has been used by the management for site visits because I keep it clean and nice. I am tired with the filth in the stairwells, the hazard filth around the trash area and in the trash chute closets. I am tired of the dog feces, everywhere including the interior hallways. And, I am tired of the fact that one of the pools is not useful due to the inappropriate behavior of the adults, its like living in section 8 housing because everyone knows better not to go there. I dont blame the onsite staff, they do try but its the AMLI corporate policies that look only at high occupancy rates and not overall customer satisfaction. I dont complain any longer, unless something is completely disgusting, like the other night when I found a large pile of dog feces in the hallway. I will let my money do the talking when my lease expires or in this case, the walking.

Great view but wasnt worth the outer hallways smelling like urine. The elevators constantly smelling of hot garbage with mystery liquids and stains. Also, was uncomfortable with how many groups of men just hangout in the parking garage at all hours of the day and night. Plus, maintenance took 2 months after moving in to fix garbage disposal and broken blinds for my giant window.

My wife and I looked high and low for the ideal apartment. This was the one we fell in love with. An apartment with great finish outs, quick access to the Lake Carolyn trails and a very friendly staff. Weve just renewed for a third year we like this place so much.In particular, Derek, one of the leasing agents has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Very professional and diligent, if weve ever had a maintenance issue or a special request hes been on top of it for us. Ive lived in a handful of apartments over the last 10 years and, and no management staff has been as good as this one.

I would actually have to say NO STARS!!!! I had to move from this place. The customer service was horrendous at best. They would not replace an air conditioning unit during the the entire time I lived there. The unit was constantly leaking rust and freon and had to have it repaired on a monthly basis. This was one of many issues!! Upon moving out, they charged me $440 to replace the carpet in the unit. I was the only one living there, no pets and had the apartment thoroughly cleaned on a monthly basis. Dont move there or even think about it!!!

If you don’t register your vehicle in guest parking every 24 hours, which is typically 90% empty, you’ll be towed and have to front 300$ to get it back... If you dont pick it up within the first few hours, your vehicle gets sold to another towing service, doubling the fee. Ridiculous!!!

The Manager Katrina is a biggot and very judgemental. She allows her personal life and issues to overflow into her work environment and the residents suffer due to this. She is manipulative and abuses her power as a manager to invade the privacy of residents who she might believe do not share the same beliefs or habits as herself. I will never recommend this place to anyone so long as she works here. My roommate and I have been on time with rent and have caused no issues but because she disagrees with the company we keep she has since invaded our home, privacy, and caused unnecessary drama. As they say misery loves company and she must be miserable, but we will not be accompanying her. I foresee this place going into the dumps under her management as she functions as a tyrant and plays games when peoples lives, livelihood, and place they call home are at stake.

I moved in 2 months ago to be closer to my new office. The area is nice, close to the DART so getting to evesnt around Dallas is super easy. The amount of square footage for the price is great. And the floor plan is great...not your typical apt layout.I read thru the ratings and yes, parking isnt ideal but if youve lived in any complex in DFW, its not much better anywhere else. My biggest complaint, if I had to put one, is the heat. The AC cant keep up with the floor to ceiling windows. But the pool/lake view help make up for it.

My first introduction to an Amli property was two years ago when I moved from California.I moved I to the La Villita property and absolutely loved the property and the people that worked in the front office.My heart broke when they sold the property to PURE because they had the WORST staff! I couldn’t wait for my lease to come to an end so I could get out of there.I found out that some of the Amli staff moved to the Las Colinas location, so I made a phone call and moved thenmoment my lease was up.People don’t typically leave their apartments based on the location or amenities, they leave due to a poor staff.Marielle, Meia, Nick, Matt, Peter, Hayden, Adrian and Katrina are amazing. They put on fantastic community events and offer amazing amenities as well.They really treat you like family and will do whatever they can in their power to make things right for you.Looking forward to renewing my lease and getting that accent wall painted.Thank you Amli!

Parking is a nightmare. Guests now must register every night online and if you forget to register (since they have no cell service in the garage), you pay $300 in towing fees. Apartment does NOTHING to help- even if its the first time. Complete lack of responsibility.

Thank you Brittany for your review. I am so sorry for your situation and clearly the apartment is unprofessional. I will look elsewhere for an apartment by the lake. Its unfortunate they were my #1 choice.

My experience with Amli Las Colinas is by far memorable. Mauricio helped me with all my questions and made my apartment search stressless. I unfortunately didn’t have anything available for my move in date. Mauricio provided me information and helped set appointment @ another Amli property nearby. I toured a different property before near by, and I just want to give a shout out to him for loving his job and the best of it all his energy.
