Everything was as promised but the turn around time even with expedited cost was more than a week, which could have been more acceptable with good feedback during the process .

One of my Trucks has been flooded and the Truck Computer Brain Box or ECM got water damage. Sent it to another repair place and told me the ECM was not repairable. Sent it to this place and got a fix and working almost for 9 months. So far sent 3 ECMs to this place and all get fixed. Thanks for helping me to save Big money. I highly recommend hi-tech electro ECM repair place.

Worst Repair service company I have experienced in my lifetime. Had I read the reviews I would not have taken my TCM there for repair. This ordeal or nightmare experience started in April 2021 and finally after many trips to the shop, with so many lies of rescheduling repairs, twice picked up to take to my Don Davis dealership to flash to work. The dealership felt the TCM was unrepairable due to their faulty tech work. I paid $528.27 when picked up the 1st time, After 4 months July 30th 2021 of going back and forward to have repaired. The owner did not want to give me back my TCM due to credit card issues with High Tech, He wanted me to pay again!! Hell No!!I had to literally take my TCM from them,I took my vehicle to my personal mechanic shop that ordered a rebuilt TCM, they were able to reflash and programmed to work. ✅The owner of American Auto recalled dealing with this same owner in prior years when they had a shop in Arlington, said he lost $11,000 dealing with the owner of Hi Tech Electro that closed there shop and relocated to Irving, TX.Warning ⚠️ do not use Hi Tech Electro for any repair work!! The BBB should have them shut down.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! Took my ecm twice, paid around $1,000 each time and my ecm is still not fixed, not to mention the part number on the paperwork they gave me each time is different, who knows if they switched the part. Second time it took them about 5 months to have it done. Save yourself time and money and avoid this place!!!!! Last time I went the manager wouldnt even come out to speak with me. Starting a complaint with the BBB, someone needs to shut this place down or do something!Follow Up***I submitted a complaint to The Better Business Bureau and they never answered. Stay away..repeat STAY AWAY...Took ECM for mx-13 paccar 13days they had it. Cost it back at over $1000. plug i it back into the truck, HAD THE SAME PROBLEM...Call them back, told me it need to be flash??? Wait its the same problem I brought it in for what does flash have to do with it..code 1504 before and code 1504 after they fix..... Working with my cc company get my money back...again Stay away

RUN AWAY!!!!! One broken promise after another, one lie after another. I still dont have my PCM despite the fact that they were going to make it a priority--that was over a month ago. Now I have no core to turn in for the OEM replacement but at least Im not out a grand for the repair of my Hino PCM.As for your response, the ONLY time you have called me is after my bad review posted. I have called your office repeatedly over the last two months. On the rare occasions when someone answered, they were abrupt, non-commital, and certainly didnt ask me for any vehicle information (it had already been supplied with the initial shipment). The only information being sought was by me wondering when my PCM would be repaired and what promise would be made and then broken yet again. And now you want $300 to ship my old unit back to me? How about you take a long walk off a short pier and use my computer for ballast.

This company is a complete scam. They will ask you to send a wire transfer DO NOT do it!!! I wire transferred them $1400 to repair my ECM and they did not even touch it. They just sent it back to me not repaired. I ended up just having to buy a brand new one. They scammed me out of $1400 and then blocked my number.

The guys are good. I love Nina. She was always assuring. The first Tech missed one step but the other guys were patient and figured out the issue. I was happy at the end of it all. Thank you Nina for the hot tea

It was the worst service Ive ever had. They kept the ECU for more than two weeks and eventually said they were not able to program it. Lost the original JD packaging making it non-returnable. The reason was - we never keep packaging. I thought they would at least ship it back to me with their account, but no, the shipping of 3 lbs package wasnt free.They do not return our unit! They want $95.00 for the diagnosis fee. $95.00 for being unable to program! Never send anything to this company!UPD. The Diagnosis was supposed to bee free if we order the programming. It would be ok to pay the fee, if after the diagnosis we asked not to program and ship it back. But it was you, who did not (wasnt able to) program. What is the reason to charge for the diagnosis in this case?

This place should be shut down. I took a locator in and when i went they told me up from that they didn’t even know if it was fixable WITHOUT telling me it would be almost $100 if they didn’t fix it like than i call they would put me on hold than hang up on me and i would call a few more time they wouldn’t even pick up the phone. 1 month later they said they would be able to fix it and that it would be ready between 7 to 10 day and gave me the price. I kept waiting for the call to tell me it was ready i waited another month for them to tell me it wasn’t fixed. Than i call to pick it up they tel me it would be ready to be picked up at 5pm i had to wait 30 more minutes plus pay for something that didn’t even get fixed at all my name is Tania Diaz incase they act they don’t know anything about me. Is pathetic paying for something with out getting fixed. In conclusion waited almost 3 months for nothing at least yall should call because i could have when somewhere else.

Hi-tech fixed a ecm and a joystick off of a CASE bulldozer 850k that would have cost me $12,500 to buy them new, hiteck did it for 2k. Thank you hiteck. I was skeptical because of the bad reviews here but they do what they say.

This place is a scam. Charged me $1100.00 to repair ECU and took several weeks, only to get it back with no change to ECU. Stay away from them

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 15 years of being in business. They lie, they are a scam. They worked on my ECM from March until June. When they send it back and it doesnt work they tell me I have to have a dealers report. My mechanic is certified and very skilled. He worked at the dealership for over ten years but they wont admit any fault without something from a dealership. Then they changed their story and said the computer needs to be reflashed by the dealer. FYI the dealers do not have the ability to reflash this particular computer, thats the reason we paid almost $1000 to these clowns. Its a shame. They are rude, unprofessional and unresponsive. Make sure you check out their BBB rating! HA! Its full of the same sort of complaints.

I had Hi Tech Electro repair my Engine control module and installed it, now the vehicle has codes for systems the vehicle is not equipped with. Called and they ask to send the unit back. Payed additional cost and shipping. Shipped unit back and reinstalled and found now engine control has an internal board fault. After about 2 1/2 months of calls and explaining fault to about 4 or 5 different persons. They were not able to correct and or refund any cost for repairs and or shipping cost. Module Master supplied replacement Module and completed repair. I WILL NOT EVER USE HI TECH FOR ANY REPAIRS. THEY COST MY SHOP THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN TIME, REPAIR COST AND AGGRAVATION.

This place is a scam. Do not give them cash!!! I live 2-1/2 hours one way from Irving made 4 trips back and forth to Irving and still don’t have a working ecm. I made a 5th trip Irving to get my money back and they gave me a hot check. I then made them go to their bank and get a cash refund. All these people do is make excuses as to why their parts don’t work and trying to get a refund is harder to do than getting their bogus parts to work. The main guy in this place is very rude when he does come out but most of the time he makes the 2 very nice ladies in the front come out and do his dirty work.Do not use this place

Im not a mechanic. Im a simple consumer. I did everything they told me for the useless warranty. Took to dealership, made many trips back and forth, bought 2 ECMs from them and they both failed. I finally spent the extra money and bought a new one as advised from the dealership and the vehicle has ran perfectly ever since; which proves something was wrong with theirs. I simply asked for a refund and all I got was passing blame back on me and the dealership. All these people are good at is taking your money and making excuses when their product does not work. I wish I would have read their reviews before. WARNING: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I was leery to try this place after reading the reviews. Considering that I was very happy with the service that they gave me. The staff was happy to answer my question prior to me even sending my unit in for repair. The wait wasnt bad considering I was paying a fraction of how much a brand new ECM cost. I was really pleased with the service and will be a return customer for my other trucks.

Bad customer service. Would give this place zero stars if I could. Took three ECM one took two months to repair, and the other two ended up being trashed. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances.

Great place with everything you need for ECM repair. Working with them for years.They have on the bench tester for almost all type of ECMs and they told me what electrical fault cause damage to the ecm with schematic and wiring diagram. Most of negative feedbacks here are from drivers wanted to repair the truck with complicated electrical problems by themselves without mechanic.I strongly recommend this place

DONT SEND THEM MONEY!! They will steal it! They sent me 2 bad ecms and I sent them both back with paperwork from Navistar proving they were bad, and they kept all my money, including the core charge!! They told me no refunds. How do they justify keeping the core charge?

They did absolutely nothing with my device. I paid $95. I came back to take it...I know how I send it, how I packed.. so it was not even open. Be aware, scam!!!

During a storm my truck got struck by lighting. I sent my ECM to a repair shop that I found online. They had my ECM for only two days and told me it was dead and not repairable. I didnt think they had looked at my ECM long enough to even try and repair it. So I sent it to this place. This company called and told me that my ECM had been opened before and someone had put wrong pieces in it and it would take a bit of time to have it repaired for me. I didnt want to pay a huge amount of money at the cat dealership, so i decided to go ahead and wait for the repair.It was repaired and working well . Im glad I found a company that knew what they were doing. Thank you

2000 Freightliner MT45 Stepvan with Cummins 5.9 ISB engine ECM. I have remove the ECM from my not starting or running engine in order to do some electrical tests myself. There are 100 pins on this ECM divided into two banks of 50 each. Pin #43 was the only pin to read continuous to ground, I mistakenly concluded that this revealed a bad ECM. I sent the ECM to Hi-Tech Electro and they invoiced me for $1,160.60 for 2000 cummins ISB ecm rebuilt internal power supply, sensors, power supply, Reflashed software, Note 2: Driver for pin 43 A relay inductor driver works fine on the bench nowWhen the ECM arrived at my office I once again checked pin #43 and it read continuous to ground. A Hi-Tech Electro seal tape was affixed from the case cover to the case housing, but several screws from the cover had not been removed. I removed the ECM from our identical truck and found out, too late, that pin 43 on that truck read continuous to ground also. So I took that ECM and installed it on the non running truck and guess what, it would not start or run. So what do you think? Yes .... the ECM was never the problem. It was the VP44 Bosch fuel injection pump computer that was bad (whole new very long diagnostic story).I called them back and expressed concern and they issued another invoice for a lower $722.00. We paid.I ordered the new fuel injection pump, installed it with my repaired ECM and it runs great now.Called Hi-Tech Electro again. They insist that the ECM cover was removed, power supply installed and new pin 43 installed and that the tech who did the work no longer works there. No credit at all will be issued. I requested another $250 credit, they would still have gotten over $400 for the software diagnosis, but they refused.This is a shortened but accurate account. You can trust that there is no exaggeration born of malice or anger, just a rational explanation of what happened.So take this seriously into account should you do business with them. I would advise you not to do so.NOTATION AFTER HI-TECH ELECTRO RESPONSE:Thank you for the clarification as to who on your team is no longer with you, I may not have understood you clearly on this point. (Note to public: I forwarded photos to Hi-Tech Electro of both of my ECMs front and back for the purpose of showing the screws and covers of both units.)

Bad computer repair. Better off buying New ! Sorry service. Repairs dont work. Bad company!!! They fixed one problem and caused another and charged me to fix which they did NOT fix. Had to get new ecm from cat. 1200 dollar screwing and cost me 3 weeks downtime

SCAM!!! Dont do it!!!! Sent an ECM in to be repaired they sent it back with the same issue. Tried calling, emailing got no response. Waste of money and my customers downtime.

This place is a joke. The technician told me he could swap out my ecm that they repaired that lasted a day and a half. He told me it would be a even swap it would not cost me any more money. So I show up yesterday to get the repaired swap ecm and the owner gives me a invoice for 369.15 and said that was for the swap. I am not going to pay that. Any other company would honor what the employee told the customer. Now waiting on my old ecm to be programmed again. Im sure this is not over.

I really don’t know why people have had a bad expiriemce here. Provide them with the correct info and they will do whatever it takes to fix your ecm. Talk to Rocky he will help you out. My ecm went bad from a 2003 Kenworth and needed to be rebuilt so hitechelectro told me they would diagnose it first and then tell me if it needed rebuild or not. I would much rather pay and get my ecm refurbished or rebuilt than go buy a brand new one for 2000+ with programming from Cummins. Again, talk to Rocky, these guys know what their doing. I will definitely be back as a customer and will continue to tell all my friends and family about HI-TECH electro ecm.

I literally have no idea how this company is even still in business. My truck computer has been with them for over 8 months now when it was supposed to only be 5-7 business days. Employees won’t call back when they promise they will and have had bad attitudes on the phone. They will also hang up on me during the conversation. They sent it to me once not working before and I sent my mechanic’s paper for all the requirement for my truck to run and they still won’t guarantee their warranty.

Cummins ISB ECM is fixed and working ( 1 month) Service tech was knowledgeable, honest and concerned with us fixing what could have caused the ECM to fail in the first place. Hopefully this is the end of our problems.

These are scammers and not to knowledgable about their jobs keep my ecm 2 months and still never fixed it then gave it back to me with all the wrong diagnosis info i still ended up at dealer i dont recommend anyone to go here for their service
