I chose the 3 in 1 clusters. I usually get the individual extensions from Lash studio or Lux. I saw that they offered 3 in 1 clusters so I tried them out. I had no clue they were plastic lashes. While taking something out the oven they burnt onto my natural eye lashes creating the look of burnt plastic lashes. I really thought they were a nice option. I found out the hard DONT cook wearing them. I’m still trying to take them off

Won’t go back again... :(First, showed us to wrong set of samples to choose from (they said it was all shillac, some were not), so we chose colors again, and then they brought different colors (especially glitters) and claimed that it was same one, and also ran out of color I chose.At the end, we got so tired of arguing and just chose whatever they brought to us.Sadly, the mani and pedi turned out very clumsy as well... just not well done.Also didnt tell us the extra charges until later.We paid $100 + tip.Mani Shillac $35 + additional color $5Pedi Massage $35 + Shillac $20 + additional color $5I would not pay this price for this quality service and work. It was good learning lesson.+I started feeling pain on my foot few hours later and saw that it was red with scratches. The lady who did my pedi scrubbed that part with nail file to remove manicure that was spilled without really talking to me. :(

Super nice owners & staff! I’ve been going here around seven years and I cannot find any other nail salon. The prices are good, and the people that do the nails are amazing. They work with you on what ever you have an idea for, and they make sure you’re comfortable from the time you walk into the door, And satisfied when you leave! This place definitely is to me, the best in the city of Houston!

Love that place. They never disappoint

First of all, there is ZERO understanding of hygiene in this place. They do not clean their instruments, they do not care if they cut you. Skin around my nails was infected for several days. Second of all, some people who work there don’t know what they are doing. I’ve been using dip powder for 2 years now, and I’ve never gotten my nails buffed so much!!! It’s been two months now since service, the bump on my nails is so visible, that I need to use 4 layers of nail polish to cover it! Not to mention, that top that she used cracked in the end of the first week.

Wife went in for refill and pedicure on mothers day. 2 weeks later 1 nail fell off and had fungus growing. She had nail lifting when we went in and was super glued instead of being completely taken off or grinded down. Wife went back and asked for at least a discount and nothing. We will be taking our business elsewhere

Ive been a long time customer for the past 6 years however I will not be back. My last visit, my nail tech didnt start on me until 45 MINUTES after my scheduled appt and this was NOT the 1st time they were late starting on me. Ive complained numerous times to the owner and all they do is apologize & move on, its like they dont care or value my business. Youd think this last time they wouldve at least offered some kind of discount for my patience but nothing. They even charge $10 just for trimming the cuticle! its not even a full basic manicure. Needless to say they nickel & dime every little thing. Appointments mean nothing here so dont bother making one. Youre better off to spend a little more at a higher end nail spa that values appointments.

The worst customer service ever! Rude and very unprofessional! I took my daughter before her graduation and as I was telling her to be sure she advised them of anything wrong before they finished one of the techs jumped in. Rudely telling my daughter they have other appointments and to get it right the first time. The crazy thing is we were just getting started and I had just advised my daughter. I asked her not to speak to my daughter in such manner and she got upset and started yelling and stopped doing my nails! I will NEVER spend another $300 in this place!

It’s always a great experience when I go to Lux. You can sit back, relax, and get pampered. In this year 2020 everyone (customers) is wearing their mask with no issues or push back. Go by and give them a try. You’ll love it!

Terrible customer service! I started out getting my nails done by Amy because I was told she was the best. Every appointment I felt super rushed and like she was speeding through my nails to get to the next person. Last visit with her she actually had someone else finish my nails so she could move on to someone else. I’ve been coming for months every two weeks consistently and I’m always 15 minutes early to my appointments; so I expect to get sufficient time to complete my services.Because of how uncomfortable this made me, feeling like I could never get the attention to detail I wanted I started trying some other ladies. Thursday I got my nails done by Loan. She was pleasant enough, didn’t rush and did a good job. However, Tuesday I was peeling a sticker off a bottle and my nail just popped of. Not much force at all, 5 days after getting them done and it literally just broke.I wasn’t able to get in until today (Thursday) a week later and I was charged $5. When I asked why she said because I didn’t come in “before” a week. I’m so disappointed that they would treat a loyal customer this way. I literally book appointments in advance, show up early and tip everyone that performs a service (I also get regular pedicures). Needless to say I will be finding a new salon that treats their customers better.

My first experience was great but this time not so much. The dip powder was too thick and the designs were mediocre. My pedicure was ruined before I got home and still wasnt right when I returned to get it fixed. They also let two Karens talk for over 2 hours without masks. I have pictures. The thumb nail broke off 2 days later. Im not going back to fix it. I thought it was worth the drive from Katy but its clearly not.

So I went in for A pedicure on Friday and the pedicure was fine up until Saturday that my toe and middle toe started to inflame. the middle of the nail polish on my big toe is gone they didn’t put a topcoat and when I was there she turned off my massage chair very poor quality very poor customer service for a 32$ pedicure.

Glow In the dark birthday nails. I go see Amy Ive been to her twice, I just moved here from Dallas so I dont know many of the places to go to but after being to Amy and Lux nails I wont go anywhere else she is done my nails twice and theyve been amazing both times and as you can see from the pictures are glow-in-the-dark really does work definitely wont go anywhere else.

I got my nails done here for 3 times. The first time I really loved my experience. The second time the lady who was doing my nails cut my skin with spinning buffer. She never stoped what she was doing or tried to sanitized the scratches. She actually just pretended that nothing unusual happened, even though the skin on two of my fingers was bleeding. I let it go first time, but today I got my nails done with the same lady and she cut my skin again! She literally didn’t pay attention on how she was working. And when I asked her to be more careful, because she had just cut me, she apologized but didn’t try to sanitize the scratches. She didn’t apply an antiseptic even when she finished working with my nails. Moreover, when she finished with me, I was surprised to see her just putting all the buffers back to her box, never disinfecting them and just moving to another person! I don’t think that it’s even legal! Have you, guys, ever heard about simple disinfection of instruments? I don’t feel safe to use your service again.

I had to drop my daughter off at a nearby school for Saturday testing. I had made an appointment the day before. First, gorgeous atmosphere for a nail salon! The choices of products were outstanding!!! The gentleman at the front desk called Gigi to service me, and she did a great job with my design from my Pinterest ideas. Although I live in Katy and I have my regular place there, I will be sure to visit this place often! Plan on bringing my grandmother and mother. 😊

Ive been going here since 2014 and it is the best nail spa in the city! They always get my nail shape perfect and are always super friendly.

I’ve visited this lounged based off of a recommendation. The first time my nails were great! Great customer service and the set lasted for 60 days plus w/o any lifts, cracks or breaks on the set. However, I ended up getting a fungus on my toe from the tech drilling too much. She did stop to sanitize nor treat the affected area. The second time I came I mentioned my previous experience to the guy who is always running things and nothing came of that conversation. The second set did not last a week before I had lost 3 nails. Not 1 but 3! All broken across the apex of the nail. Meaning my set was never going to last from the beginning.

Gigi is THE BEST nail tech, I’ve ever had! She incredibly talented, understanding and she gives me exactly what I ask for.

I was just there yesterday and I had the worst service. I repeatedly asked for clean utensils to be used when I noticed that the items had dead skin from prior customers!My nails were done at the same time by a gentleman who clearly needed more light to do the job. My nails were miss-shaped and I had to tell him many times that the powder was too thin.When I was driving home, I could clearly see right thru the tips that were added despite the dark color that I chose.Extremely disappointed for two expensive services.

AMY IS AWESOME. She wouldn’t allow anyone to come in for services without a mask, everything was super clean. Everyone wore masks and gloves, she kept a minimal of people inside the nail salon and seated people two chairs apart from one another. Excellent service during these crazy times. Customer service here has gone down the drain. The manicurist was to busy handling his airpods and phone then doing my nails. Then try to blame me because he does not know how to do metallic nails. Im still trying to take off all the pain he left on my fingers. Not worth the price. Never again !!

I came to do my eyebrows and nails.I have been coming to this place for years and almost always they met my expectations.But today 7/28 the lady who did my eyebrows and was supposed to do my nails WALKED AWAY from doing my nails! Why? Because she DID NOT like me! The reception told me that the lady did not feel comfortable to do my nails after doing my eyebrows.So I have been waiting for 30 minutes to finally have someone available, and now I have been waiting another 30 minutes and it is not clear when or if anybody is gonna do my nails (just gel).I wish an owner or a manager were here. This is totally unacceptable to get this kind of treatment. So if a cashier doesn’t like me in Walmart she can “skip” me and go process the next customer in line?!It is exactly what happened to me here today!

OMG just finished getting a mani and pedi and I couldn’t be happier! I predominant go to salons inside the loop but this one was a wonderful find. Mimi and Gigi were wonderful very friendly and welcoming plus the work was fantastic. Gigi sold me on this new “cat eye” technique for my hand nails and wow they look beautiful I must say check out the pic!

Opening after COVID-19 they are focused on quantity not quality. Everything is a rush job. Only 4 out of 10 nails look decent. When I asked her to fix them she said come back in two weeks. I don’t remember her name. I don’t have to because I’m not going back. The owner condone the behavior.

This place has horrible service and string their customers along that the wait is short and in the end left after an hour without being served. I went in for pedi and I was told that it will be about 15 min and I should wait outside or in car due to social distancing and to leave number as they will call me. I came back in 15 min and they said they were not ready but just a few more minutes. I sat in my car for another 15 to be called and decided to go in and check. I asked whether it was my turn yet and they said why were you not outside and when I told them that they told me to sit in the car to wait for them to call. They said we did call and I asked to see a dial out and of course they were speechless. They then begrudgingly told me to pick a color and situated me. I again waited another 20 min and no one came by. I finally got up and left. This is not how you should provide service and string people along to make a few dollars. Your customers time is also valuable. Horrible horrible customer service to be taken advantage of when at a time when this is the only option. So I went home and did my own!!!

Worst nail salon ever. I waited for my nails to grow out both on my feet and hands so that when i got the mani/pedi it would look good but the lady that did my pedi cut ONE of me toe nails SUPER short down to my cuticle. So the nails on my feet now look uneven. The manicure I got was also the worst one yet. Not even a day later and the paint already started peeling. I called them to see if I could get my money back and the front desk lady said I needed to talk to the manager. I told her ok but then she said the manager is busy doing someones nails and she would call me right back. Well an entire day has gone by and they still havent called me back. And now that Im calling them back they wont answer my phone calls. I dont live close to this nail salon so now Im going to have to go out of my way to talk to them in person. A very frustrating experience since I got my nails done for a vacation trip happening in a day at a beach and now my nails are all messed up.

I booked an appointment with a specific lady, I came before 10 min of my appointment. When I arrived they assigned another lady for me, 30 minutes and I’m still waiting to start on my pedicure and manicure.. A lady came after 30 min she left me after 3 min to help another customer! This is really unprofessional, they don’t respect your time although their services are good.

Nails done on Thursday, by Monday, one nail had broken off, another had lifted at the bottom cracking my nail, and the design came off the 3rd nail. I returned and was questioned like I never came in the first place and had to show proof of receipt, which is fine, but being made to feel as if I was lying by being questioned excessively was not. My nails were fixed free of charge, then I was asked to repay for the design. $10. Poor customer service. Not to mention I was told they had to rush bc someone else was waiting.I will never come back.Given this place many chances, and they always screw up. Avoid if possible.

Love this place. They offer high quality services and the salon has a nice environment. I switched to dipping powder on the recommendation of one of the nail technicians and I have never looked back. They have a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Technicians will try to upsell you other services as most places do, but theyre not pushy about it.

I am very very unlikely to complain, even when I am upset. But I had to say something. The first time I was upset with my service I did not say anything but my nails had a clear film peeling off on them. I ended up just letting them grow out but was upset as I tip my nail ladies sometimes over 30%. This last time I came I got my nails taken off and I got gel nails. My gel nails never ever peel and I have four chipped nails already. I am so upset. Spent about $40.00

The only place I go to get my nails done! My nail tech is amazing. She always listens and strives to make sure I am happy. If you like designs, crystals, the latest trends etc...this is the place to come. I always get compliments on my nails when I get them done with my tech. Her name is Mikey. The ambiance here is also nice as well. You also get a free cosmetic gift when you pay with cash. You wont be disappointed.

The managers are a husband and wife and they are so welcoming when you step in the spa. The women doing the nail services are pleasant. Most importantly its clean! I noticed there are a lot of long time customers because they know the staff by name and all about their kids. I like the Square check out process. I am happy I found this place. Its close to my new home too.

Had a wonderful pedicure at Lux Nail Spa today. The staff was friendly and provided great service. I have visited 3 other times, usually on a Sunday, and have never had more than a 5 minute wait for a chair.

These people are not used giving great customer service. I called ahead to book my appointment, so they knew what time it was when they accepted me to come in.(Which was close to the time they closed) The nail tech intentionally rushed my service and didnt include everything that I was supposed to get in my service. Then when I complained about it the so called manager just acted as if I was lying to get something free. I dont know about anyone else, but I have been waiting since the beginning of covid19 to get a pedicure and with the way things are, I wanted my full service, not some shabby service that I paid for and I tipped her well. Save yourself some money and time, dont go there.

Went after work. Received full set after removal and pedicure. My nails are BEAUTIFUL. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

I had an appointment with Amy (owner) and they canceled my appointment after calling me less than an hour before to confirm. They had made a mistake and double booked her and called me back to tell me she could no longer do my nails (after confirming an hour before) and that if I wanted them done I would have to go to a different nail tech, one that I did not request. There was no type of concern for the fact that they had made the mistake and the lack of concern for customer service was so offensive. I asked to speak to a manager and it’s two days later and Amy nor Antione have called back!!! I have been coming to this spot for three years, faithfully, going to Amy and Gigi and they couldn’t even bother to call me back. HORRIBLE customer service and they lost a customer that could have been life long. The fact that they do not care about their client’s schedules (I had a photo shoot the next day) nor trying to fix a problem that they created is beyond unprofessional and shows how much they truly care (or don’t care) about their customers. It greatly upset me that I’ve been going for so long and have spent so much money there and they could not even bother to call back to try to rectify the situation.

The lady at the front desk very unprofessional. Today I went to do my nails and waiting for 15 minutes she send me to the very last chair. The other customers were 5 to 10 after me and they were serve first offer water. What bothered me is that Short lady was unprofessional with me only. They did an awful job on me. Omg the best nail shop I have ever been to, and Ive been getting my nails done for about 10 years. My visit was my first time going there, and I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND you to go I got my sisters to go and everything. (My) did my nails to perfection not to mention waxed my eyebrows perfect. (Nancy) did my pedicure and waxed my legs and I swear I left extremely impressed and overly satisfied. The ENTIRE STAFF was very welcoming and friendly its worth every star and more.

The nail tech did a poor job on a simple color change on my toes. When I asked her to make sure she polishes the corners, she told me she couldn’t because of my cuticles 🙄. She then asked me if I wanted her to polish my skin & made comments to her co-worker. I’ll never return for any service, she wanted to use an electric file on my natural nails. Unprofessional!

Relocated from NY 4 years ago & happened to walk in on a random. Antoine was so friendly and set me up with Amy to do my nails. She has been my tech ever since! She broke me out of my clear nail phase in favor of colored designs. She has replicated any picture Ive brought her and she suggests all the latest nail trends. Im VERY picky about my nails but I trust her work. The shop has an extensive array of color choices and nail adornments.....sometimes its overwhelming but Id rather have more variety than limited choices. Thank you, Lux Nail Spa, for years of service!!

I last minute decided to go get my nails done I was so happy this nail shop was open on a Sunday they do close at 6 though. The Ambiance is nice grounds or will clean kept. They are sterile and do not use the same utensils and use bags for the feet bassins for sanitary purposes. I got a pedicure by Kacie she did a great job I did not have to tell her to clean in between anything everything was done diligently and professionally and the massage she gave with it was wonderful. Then I went to Gigi I showed her a picture of a theme I was going for for my nails and she was able to make her own creative Style. She even corrected what the last tech had did wrong. She was also professional. I would definitely be back thank God is not far from home.

Great place with great service, but I dont love how management talks to the employees and the Acrylic smell can be overwhelming. They need better ventilation. Id still recommended it if cheap and good are your priorities.

Well I have never left any bad review on any place, but decided to share my thoughts about this place. It was my second time in this place today. First time came in for P&W nails a few weeks ago, the girl did a horrible job, charged extra $5 for the shape I wanted( coffin/ballerina shape) and shape was very off. Then I asked her to cut cuticles, and she said that’s gonna be extra $5, and she did the worst job ever. Came in today second time for the pedicure, my best friend recommended the girl named Linda, and she did a good job I was so happy with my pedicure, then I decided to give this place another chance and decided to get a manicure as well since I was already there. I showed a picture of the nails I wanted to and asked for the best specialist. Linda recommended woman named Sara. More than one hour later when Ms Sara was almost done, I was very disappointed with her job, my nails looked so bad. Then I told her I don’t like them, bc the design looks off and overall my nails looked so bulky, like I did P&W and design manicure on my own at home. Then they talked between them and another lady came in, tried to fix the horrible job of the previous technician. She made it look better, but still I was very unhappy with my manicure. Also at the end when I was leaving I asked for special slippers the ones they give you after pedicure ( bc I came in my sneakers) and they all started telling me how nail polish on my toes is dry and I can wear socks and sneakers. They put oil on my toes and said you are good to go. Then I checked my toes and the nail polish was still soft. I made sure to leave tips for Linda and the lady who tried to fix the disaster on my nails. Overall not worth it to come in for powder or P&W nails. I paid $55 for my manicure and $32 for pedicure ( not including tips) Left the place very disappointed and in a horrible mood. I know they do good job with shellac manicure ( a few of my friends get their nails done here and get shellac manicure )

I just came here today and I brought with me my entire 3- piece shellac set and I was told from the nail technician thats fine which type of pedicure do you want and I told them I wanted the regular deluxe pedicure thats it. When it came time to paying in the end, they charged me an $20 additional, when it was my shellac set the technician used?!!. I think thats not only being greedy for charging your clients for the Polish that they brought with them, but also sneaky and undermining your clients intelligence. I mean the entire shellac experience is that someone wants a pedicure for the one they selected, so why am I being charged $20 additional for the Polish I brought to the salon? Please be honest up front instead of marking up your prices in the end of charging your clients. Im very disappointed in this establishment, also what doesnt help is the fact that no one was apologetic?! Also the callus on my feet was not entirely taken off, when I got home I noticed this, during my pedicure I remember my nail technician was talking to the one next to her. And if there is any misunderstanding, at least show the client you care what theyre saying. And I read the brochure on which type of pedicure I had so theres no excuse for what the lady told me when I paid her, personally I really regret even paying the entire bill which was not right!

Came in for the first time. they told me that they were a good nail spa, got there, staff was really friendly but i feel like the nail tech who attended me did my nails super fast. then, less than a week later my nails started to unglue. usually when i get my nails done they last for about two weeks before needing a refill. i wouldn’t go here again.

Not very friendly to their loyal customers!!!Only the selective few...if you know what I mean!!!! Theyve lost my loyalty!!Good Luck...

Pedicure for size 15 foot? Yes! And a glass of wine to relax. Very good service here. Friendly staff and clean.

Very disappointed, its only been 5 days since i got my nails done with dipping powder here and they started chipping, never has happened to me anywhere else, and i payed $55. The lady rushed through my nails just because she had someone else waiting for her.. she kept on asking me if i was still going to want a manicure when i told her since the beginning YES. She just wanted to be done with my nails already.
