I came in for my first time a while back for shellac pedicure and acrylics. My acrylics lasted me about 5 weeks without lifting and my shellac pedicure was a little over 6 weeks. I came in today and my shellac from my toes still wasn’t peeling but my nails were growing. i wasn’t even near the salon and still decided to make the 45+min drive because this place is totally worth it. They have great customer service and very little waiting time.

I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE!! They were so sweet, clean, and absolutely professional! My day was hectic and I called to get my nails done close to the closing time. The manager assured me they’d help me. When I arrived I was greeted at the door, my chair was prepared and Erin and Hannah were ready to help me. Did I mention it was NOT a rush job!! I couldn’t have had a better experience and I’ve officially named them my NEW Nailshop! You have to try it!!!! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks a million for putting a smile on my face!😊

Asked for white white dipping powder which came out well until the next day they began to crack. Not only did they crack they started to be a different shade, as well as my design that required glue being visible. I asked for one rhinestone on each finger. What looked to be a great job at first, was not. The glue not only is visible but it has changed colors too. First time back since Joann left so I am disappointed.

I was a walk in and immediately got seated in a chair for my pedicure. It had a really nice energy. The staff were respectful and very precise. I will now be a regular customer.

I went in for a pedicure and watch the nail tech who is apparently the manager mishandled a customer. The nail tech disrespected the customer yelled at her all because the customer didn’t want her nails a certain way. She specifically asked for white tips the nail tech put pink powder and her nails the customer was extremely calm and asked if she could stop being yelled at. I watch the nail tech (manager) be extremely unprofessional and rude to the customer and excepted her to pay for nails she didn’t ask for and half done. She called this dude over which I thought would handle the situation better but only made it worse. He took the nail tech side without trying to hear what the customer said but I could tell that he was in a relationship with the nail tech based on his lack of professionalism and said he would call the police on the customer. Once the lady left the cops came they lied on her and I could hear the dude tell another customer how him and the nail tech dated and how she’s never wrong so he trust her over anyone. I will never return here and would advise others to not go as well. I am big on professionalism and courtesy because you never know who can do something nice for you when your having a bad day. Treat people nice that customer had been coming there she said for 2 years even before that tech become manager.

Went for an acrylic manicure and left with bloody cuticles, crooked nails, and a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth about this place. When I complained I was screamed at about how my hand wasnt still during the session. Wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Yvonne did an amazing French dip powder. It was PERFECTION! She gave attention to detail and was nice to talk to! Joann and her staff are always nice and good at what they do. Tina is also great at dip powder.

Great pedicure, but my shellac came off on 2 toes after only a few days.

This was my first time and i had a great experience, besides being close to my house the staff is very friendly and Leon did a great job! Will be coming back. The place is very clean and pretty.

I was referred to Yoyo (Nail boss Eldridge) multiple times by my manager, who always receives compliments on her nails wherever we go.Initially I was hesitant because it was ten minutes further than my current nail place.I called the salon and was told that Yoyo (the owner) is appointment only however she made an exception because of my managers referral.And even though Yoyo had her two next appointments waiting, she kept asking me if I was happy with the color and shape. She is a perfectionist and told me what looks best, so I let her do her thing. Wow! My nails look amazing. And she was quick (which I love) and thorough!Jessica was really attentive also. She did my pedicure and used lavender products which made me feel relaxed and left my feet so soft and smooth.Definitely coming back :)

Glamour Nails goes above and beyond every time I visit. I typically get a dip powder manicure and it’s nothing less than amazing. Joanne and Yvonne are very sweet and welcoming!! Overall, the staff is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend!

Went along with my girlfriend to get a manicure and was astounded by how my nails looked after! I couldnt even believe they were my hands after the manicure. The service was great and the technicians tended to my every need. Im glad that I decided to hop along with my girlfriend. Prices were fair, business was clean, and my experience was a 10/10! Its important to support small businesses during these tough times. Thanks for being one of the small businesses open. Id definitely recommend this shop to my guy friends for a nice clean up. It’s been less than a week that I’ve had a full set done. My nails began to get chipped from both my hands and toes. It seems like I need a refill in just a couple days. How is that even possible. Not just that but the quality looks so poorly done. This place is more expensive than what you get out of. Honestly not pleased at all. Customer service was great and all but work wise was such a let down. Definitely don’t recommend this place at all.

Im only saying its okay because I never did visit I was thinking about it on one Saturday I went to a location that was next door and I wanted to get my nails done but I think I left home without cash or anyting so I didnt have it done but the prices when I looked at their prices on the website and everything everything looked good so if you ever in the area a go check them out I might even go check it out myself I dont know that for sure but everything look good I didnt visit though so just be mindful of this review I did not visit

Everyone is incredibly nice, but if youre willing to spend over 50.00 for a manicure that looks like this.. be my guest.. second time I go and am disappointed again.. The point of getting your nails done professionally is to help you look amazing. Not display hands that look like your manicurist didnt care too much about the integrity of their art..

I used to go there regularly and then moved so I have been going elsewhere. A friend and I were close to there on Sunday so we thought we would use them. We were both disappointed. The lady that was going to do my nails argued with me that I had powder nails. I have shellac; I know what I have had done to my nails. I asked for pink & white; just like I currently have on my nails. I should have left then. I was told that would not work (after she had taken my shellac off) so I got French. My friend requested her nails to be shortened and then a new tip for one that broke. She was told they could not do a tip that short so she had to get shellac. Her polish was not done completely and it is easy to see the sides of her nails. Needless to say; we will not be returning.

Quality work on dip powder nails. Great pedicures. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. I miss their old location on Eldridge.

I’ve been coming to Glamour nails for two Years and I am amazed at the consistent level of Professionalism this salon has. Kelly is such a joy! I broke my real nails pretty bad and not only did she fix them she saved me from having to cut them completely off. Miss Tammy is always greeting you with the biggest smile and the warmest heart it’s always a plus to have her as your nail tech. And last but certainly not least the owner of this salon (Joann) is extremely accommodating, fair, sweet funny, and by far one of the most professional owners in the city of Houston! Not to mention she knows her stuff! I am a loyal client and highly recommend this salon!

Went in for a fill and a pedicure, I asked for gel polish on fingers and toes. Tammy did not want to even take the gel polish off my toes from a previous pedicure. She kept saying oh no it looks fine, why take it off. I explained I wanted a new color, she proceeded to tell me she has to charge $30 dollars extra to take off the gel and replace. That is ridiculous for me already paying for a pedicure. I under $10 extra like all other salons but $30 is way to much because she did not want to do her job. Then the guy that did my nails spilled the clear gel on my hand and tried to wipe it with a cotton ball and it would not come off so the owner come over and started putting different chemicals on it and picking at it, so I left with my hand irritated from this. Definitely will not go back there and will not recommend anyone to this salon. Very unprofessional.

This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. First this is the first bad review I have ever given for anything, but feel like people should know. The salon is filthy!! Doesn’t look like it is ever cleaned. The tools are not sanitized. Most places these days open up clean sanitized tools per client which is how it should be. There was another client getting her nails done that did not speak English and her friend was translating for her. She was trying to tell the lady doing her nails that the color was not what she chose. The lady was so incredibly rude yelling across the salon to her coworker complaining about her. I mean she couldn’t be more obvious!!! I really have no idea how they stay in business!!

I love my nails. My sister and I enjoy a relaxing day together. It is located in the shopping center on Eldridge. There is plenty of parking. You can make an appointment or walk in. I just learned they are open on Sunday!

I have been a customer at this establishment for about seven years - even before it was Glamour Nails. I am so disappointed in how the owner reacts to customer complaints, and the inconsistent service. There is always an excuse. Recently, I was quite insulted about how I was treated. It was the last straw.I brought in two friends with me, and happened to have a male nail tech. While he did a wonderful job on my nails, when you pay for deluxe service, you should get what you pay for. This tech raked a rock over my back, massaged one shoulder, and called it a day. My friends saw it, the other nail tech saw it (and tried to be helpful), and yet the owners response was to say she doubted that he would do that. I was uncomfortable complaining, so I actually typed the message - she proceeded to read it, disregard my complaint (by telling me it didnt happen), and then went two chair over to loudly ask the tech if he actually did what I said. That is not good customer service - and I didnt get what I paid for. I dont believe her telling me oh, next time you wont have that tech was a proper solution. I have also been in the salon when the owner has talked bad about customers to other customers. Not a comfortable environment to raise concerns.I am sad that the common theme is that you dont get consistent good service here, and that the owner could care less.Edit: Her response down below says it all. We were too,loud and didnt have time to listen while bothering other people. YOU make your business look bad all by yourself. Stop blaming your customers!

Today makes my 3rd time coming to this place and i am not pleased. The only reason i came back a 2nd time waa bcz i literally live next door and i was pregnant and close to my due date and still wanted to look fly and didnt want to go too far away from home incase my water broke. I am back here a 3rd time again only bcz of convenience, postpartum and again didnt want to bee too far from home as im not yet 100 recovered but they holidays are coming up so i want to have my nails done.My complaint today is that i thought businesses go with a first come first serve... i guess not these people. Upon arrival they told me the wait time would be 30 mins. I decided to wait. A lady came in 10 whole mins after and they told her 30 mins wait ( by this time my wait should be 20) however 2 mins later they decided to sit the lady and start her nails... i then asked how much longer they still told me 30 mins... can u imagine how frustrated i am. This is why they lost a $10 tip from me. I do not like their customer service. And frankly i jus feel as if they did that on some racist stuff... and no the other customer didnt set an appointment as she was inquiring prices and stuff.....The staff doesnt even seem friendly . Not once was o updated on my wait time or checked on.... do not come to this place.. unless u have no other choice to do so.....Ohhh and im typing thia msg as im waiting n my 30 mins has been long gone ...smh

I went it to get a nail fixed and the nail tech, Kelly Le, that replaced it did a horrible job! The nail is GIANT, UNEVEN, MISSHAPEN, CROOKED, AND LOOKS LIKE A LARGE GLOB sitting on my finger. And Joanne had the never to say it looks the same.

My experience with this place of business was the owner Joann is very unprofessional, and rude, she speaks on the phone rudely when she get a phone call and everyone in the shop can hear her conversation. She speaks in her native language as though she thinks that only her employees can understand. Then they all looks at you and you know that she said something pertaining to you. The staff is always New, no one stays employed there for very long , I go back in 2-3 weeks and ask for that Tech and I am told that they no longer works there, and she willingly tells you why they are not there and it is in a negative way, which as their employer she has no right to say anything negative. Very Rude.

I hate this place. First of I ask them how much for a full powder set and the owner said $31. Then the lady(Nancy) did my nail which I pick a light nude pink all same across 10 fingers. She was rushing it, did not clean underneath my nails, my nails are all different amount of thickness, the side are all mess up and gross, the top coat are bumpy, then charge me $41 instead. I normally get my nails done around Bay Area for $31 and the people there do an amazing job. I only goes here since Im staying with my bf for a while and I have anxiety therefore I chew on my nails a lot. Just dont go to this place they would charge you extra and do a terrible job if they think you are naive.

Very hard to communicate with workers no one speaks English. Prices always change. When you walk in door no one greets you. Overall poor customer service.

I’ve been here several times, however after my visit yesterday, I’m not sure that I will return. The tech who did my service was very unprofessional. She made several mistakes, probably because she talks more than she listens. She was more concerned with another customer’s service while messing up on mine. I hate to leave a poor review but I don’t feel like I got what I paid for.

I have visited twice. On both occasions, I received gel (shellac) nail polish services on my finger nails. Shellac treatments should generally last 2 weeks, at minimum. This establishments gel polish barely lasts 5 days to a single week (major chipping, and tears on the finish). I would never recommend this place, for anything other than a general, old fashioned polish treatment.The only reason that I made the mistake of visiting this place twice, was due to the closure of my usual nail shop.In addition, one of the nail techs was quite rude during my second (final) visit. Holly Nails (on 14047 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077) is less than 5 minutes away, with greater customer service, and longer- lasting gel treatments. I would highly recommend Holly Nails.

I was not satisfied with my mani pedi at this nail spot. They did not fully remove dead skin and file my nails evenly. they dis not remove nail powder from my cuticle. They were also rough and not gentle. I did not relax at all. I wanted a full set and a man pushed tips and powder on me. He did not know the process at all, he had the head lady show I dont recommend this place.

I got pink and white tips on May 10th before my graduation and on June 3rd and it still looks the same and I dont baby my hands at all! Ill have to come in for a refill, but Im very impressed at the durability.Joanne- the owner, is the absolute best and if you have any problems or concerns shes the one to talk to (like messing up your nails by accident immediately after walking outside, just pop back in and shell fix it).This is also one of only a handful of places that does the SNS Dipping (if you do shellac etc it can be bad for your nails, but this is meant to nurture your nails to be healthier). Google it!I dont do over the top designs, but almost anything you see on pinterest like 3D, etc just show it to Joanne and she can definitely replicate it.If she is buys, Michael is extemely meticulous. Hes not as fast as Joanne, but hes very, very thorough and does just as good a job.I suggest an appointment if you want her or some of the other sought after employees.For those from a science background SNS dipping powder contains organically-processed chemicals Benzoyl Peroxide, Titatum Dioxide, Acrylic Ester Polymer

I have followed Joanne from her first Salon at Wilcrest to here. Unfortunately, the service became so bad that I only request Joanne for my face and hand shellac. Now, when I make apts with her, she is not there and am told Emergency with her daughter. They constantly complain about the customers who dont tip and the ones who tip very little. I tip 20%, but I wont be going back. Tipping is based on the quality of service and customer care, which is greatly lacking and is only getting worse. I am sorry Joanne, but today was the last time for me. Driving all the way to your Salon and being told you had yet another daughter emergency and they did not even have the courtesy to call me. I can no longer support an establishment that complains about their customers when they dont look at themselves.

Over priced for sure , they act afraid to touch your feet ,didnt take off all the dead skin an didnt use the cuticle remover ,water was cold so really just painted an shaped my toes for 23 bucks then ask how much to just paint my finger nails said 9$ never again

Today was my second time going to Nail Boss and they did SUCH and amazing job!!!! YoYo is usually the one who does the designs on my nails and she’s so patient with it. The service is amazing and they are very detailed with the designs that they do. I usually go around 1pm-2pm and there is usually not many people so I don’t have to wait to get seated. If I could give them more than 5 stars I definitely would!!

No le doy menos estrellas porque no se puede, pero es necesario que los clientes sepan que este lugar es malo. Servicio pésimo, malcriada, mal trabajo. Yoyo se enojó y hasta le temblaban las manos porque le pregunté porque me cobraba más ??? Es segunda vez que regresaba a solicitud de ellos, porque el primer trabajo estuvo mal.Aclaro que en ningún momento me negué a pagar el nuevo trabajo, pero si quería saber porque me cobrarán más…Era una pregunta nada mas !!! Mala actitud, mal servicio, mal trabajo. No se debe enojar y menos hacer escándalo que los demás clientes se enteren. Horrible experiencia. Jamás volvería. Ni lo recomiendo.
