Pedicures are the best in the area.Original Review:I don’t wear acrylics often but so came here to get a full set for my birthday. I had high hopes based on the reviews but I was very disappointed. Especially for the $90 price point. The design is very pretty and she asked a lot of questions which was nice. Everyone was kind, the pedicure was the best i’ve had in a long time, and the customer service was good, but the acrylic technique is not there. As soon as I left i noticed the nails pointing up and thought it looked very strange from the side. Then I had a few people point it out to me. They are also not very polished looking. There is acrylic under the nail and part of the black design was filed off. The acrylic was also laid over my cuticles and my skin has been red and itching like crazy because of this. I have had acrylics before many times for cheaper and none of them have had issues like these.

When I originally visited Chic Nails on June 30, I wasnt serviced due to a customer service issue. After expressing my dissatisfaction, the owner personally reached out to me within 24 hours to remedy the situation so I decided to give them another try and Im glad that I did!I was immediately greeted and seated for my pedicure. Van (my technician) was GREAT! She made sure that the temperature of the water, the towels and the wax were just right. The massage she gave was AMAZING and lasted longer than most massages Ive experienced at nail salons. She took her time to shape my nails, tend to my cuticles and polish my toes. She didnt rush and was even able to match the polish I already had on my fingernails!I would definitely recommend Chic Nails.

Walked in for my first time visiting the shop and was pleased how they ask their guests to wash hands before starting service. My nail tech was super nice and asked if I was comfortable the entire time, will be coming back regularly.

The sculpturing of my nails were done beautifully. I had great service. I only have an issue that its been a little over 1 week and my gel is peeling. In all my years I have NEVER seen gel peel.

Always do an amazing job on my acrylic nails, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. The staff are friendly and very talented at what they do! I love that you have the choice to walk in or make an appointment and have never gotten my nails done anywhere else since moving to Houston! P.S. if you get a pedicure and manicure at the same time they will do it all while you are comfortably sitting in the massage chair, it’s a full pampering!

The team is always friendly and does a good job on nails. Today was my first time requesting a more intricate design and they executed beautifully. I said hey here’s this picture. Do something like this with purple and we decided to only use two shades of purple. I love it. The pink and gray screenshot was the example and the purple is my nails.

This was my first set ever and I am so happy with them!!! My nail tech was Sophia and she helped me choose which powders suited my skin tones while keeping it simple. Please check out this shop! Its clean, they take precautions, and the staff is very friendly. Will be coming back

Pretty much everything about my experience was great. Yes the prices can get a little bit up there, but its worth it. My philosophy is if you pay for five star treatment you get five stars treatment, if you pay for three star treatment you get three star treatment. I regret not getting my technicians name, but she was very thorough in making sure that I got what I wanted, and asked if I had reference pictures. At one point when she was shaping my nails she flip my hand to get a different point of view, which I loved.I only have two concerns. When she was using the electric file it felt really hot and uncomfortable, as if it was over heating. The second was that another technician kept coming over and hovering over both me and the woman doing my nails. It made me a little uncomfortable, even though Im pretty sure thats just normal in a nail salon and I was just feeling a little on edge because of the pandemic. Its still not enough for me to take a star off. I dont get my nails done often, but I 100% recommend this place, and Im probably going to start getting my nails done more often just because the great experience that I had♥️

Everything was going good until mid pedicure she dropped a tool on the floor and didn’t even hesitate to clean it and used it on my feet . 2nd while doing my nails (acrylic full set) i got cut with the drill several times & 3rd !! I wanted some simple flowers 3D flowers on my nails he took about 40 minutes doing one nail for them to come out super uneven and not even the same length once I noticed I asked him it didn’t look right if I was still getting charged extra for something that obviously doesn’t look right?? Then took another 30 minutes on the other nail. That’s when he went back to fix the other nail and took like another 30 minutes. He kept messing up and starting over and over again. I was starting to feel very frustrated. My point is being a professional myself you can’t charge for something you can’t do well especially if you know it looks bad . If you can’t do it just have someone else do it or say you can’t do it instead of waisting time & making your clients uncomfortable.

I moved here from GA and had to leave my nail salon behind and it took me so long to find the right salon for me that knew how to work with my nail shape and durability.Coming to Houston I was in desperate need to find a nail solon and not waste my money. I searched Top Nail Salons in Houston and Chic Nails and Spa in Houston came up first. I was the closest one to me too. I came in and was greeted immediately. I was a walk in so i was prepared to wait. The only thing was i had to wait awhile but i understood because it was a popular salon and i came at 5pm so everyone is getting off of work.They worked fast and gentle on my nails even removing the old acrylic i had on. I was able to show them a picture and they were able to do it perfectly. Once i posted a picture of my nails all of my friends loved them!Always coming back! Im glad i found them!

Nancy did my nails and she was amazing - I told her what shade I had in mind and she picked the perfect color! She was very sweet and took care of me as soon as I walked in the door even though it was pretty busy. Also worked quickly while maintaining high quality. Definitely coming back!

First time at this nail place and showed the lady what my daughter I wanted done and was not what we got. The flames on my daughters nail look like lines and nail tech seemed unsure if she knew what she was doing it took her almost 20 minutes to do one nail and still my nails look weird. We paid over $200 which is fine if we would have gotten done what we requested but nope!..We always get our nails done but this place is real good about charging but does not come thru to make sure customer is satisfied.

This is the only salon in Houston I get my nails done ! They are always so sanitary even pre-covid!! Any design I have brought in ,they have been able to execute and well!!! I get compliment on sets that are weeks old !!!!!ALSO, THEIR NAILS LASTS. EVERY JEWEL, EVERY DESIGN, EVERY NAIL!!! It is so worth it !!! First time visiting and I am very satisfied with my new set, the ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lady doing my pedicure burned me with the hot water while adjusting the temp, so I would pay attention to that, But other than that it was a nice experience for my husband and I.

This place is the best place I’ve been to! They really care for you and take their time on your nails. The business is clean and organized and the owner takes his time to stop by and talk to the people getting their nails done and checks in, which is very sweet. My mom, sister, and I got our nails done and all of the nail techs were very professional and sweet! I’ve never been to a place where you could come back within 7 days if anything happens to your nails and they will fix it! Love this place and definitely recommend.

My first time was such a great experience. Sophia did an amazing job, like amazing!!! I came in with a picture of how I wanted my nails and she was so thorough and detailed to try and match the picture exactly. She actually did better so I will definitely be back in 2 weeks 😊

I’ve already heard so many great reviews of this place from my coworkers. When I went I had this amazing lady name Sophia she gave me a powdered full set on my toes and my nails. Also if you have sensitive weak nails like me she’s a perfect person to go to she’s very gentle sweet and does an amazing job. I finally found my nail place💛.

I went in there for the first time before Valentine’s Day weekend.Everyone was really friendly and sweet, but importantly my toes have never looked this good! Went out of my way to come try this nail salon only to be told once I arrived that my daughter was not allowed inside. They have a poster with an absurd amount of rules and what not which they pointed to as if someone was going to read all of it.My daughter likes to get her feet done so she comes along and was very disappointed that they would not allow her in or service her.I wont be coming back. I moved to Houston June 2020, I called two places. The owner at Chic Nails answered the phone with so much energy and you could just feel how inviting he was. The first place and only place I’ve come to is Chic Nails & Spa. Q and Lynn are personally my favorite duo! I’ve never had anyone get the shape perfect every time and I’ve never had an issue with any of my nails after I leave! Lynn always blesses my feet, even with my annoying in grown nail. I never feel rushed and I truly enjoy the atmosphere there! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! If I ever move I need this nail shop to come with me haha! I HIGHLY recommend getting your nails done at Chic Nails and request Q and Lynn (you won’t regret it)

This was my first time getting my nails done at this place being it had great reviews, but I was so dissapointed with the results, specially the shellac manicure . After waiting an hour to be taken to a chair for a manicure and pedicure they finished in a rush as they kept looking at the clock and it was almost noon.My nails were filed all cruked, the shellac polish looks as if my manicure is about 4 days old,you can see ridges of polish in the nail, not smooth.If youre getting Shellac manicure I would definitely NOT recommend this place.As for the Pedicure if you are getting just a regular pedicure all you are going to get is a soak, cuticle trim, 1 minute massage, 15 second soap scrub, and then polish.Finger nipped during cuticle removal of hand you can see in picture.

I made an appointment,this ladys started to get ready to start my pedicure and manicure, i had my fingers an the little dish,some lady walk-in and they asked her what she needed and she said manicure and pedicure so 2nd worker come over and took my dish away and said you later,you later i was in shock i told the lady the was doing my nails tell her to bring it back or im walking out.So disappointed i was a client for many yrs since the first owner open the spa.

This place is a very busy nail salon that specializes more in fake nails/inserts instead of polish or gel. If you want some awesome fake nails, this will be the spot since I see lots of happy customers.When I first came on a Thursday, I ended up getting a gel French manicure with a flower design on the 4th finger. I wanted something timeless and classy for my wedding on Saturday. It ended up looking... awkward to say the least and I posted a 3 star review with a picture. Since then the owner contacted me and was highly apologetic. I ended up trying again the following day with the dip nails that they are more specialized in.The next day, I gave this place a second try since my first nails are not what they specialize in. This time around I got prettier nails but I feel like it took twice as long since my nail tech would be answering the phone or greeting a customer at the rate of every 3 minutes. I was getting my nails done (nails only since the cuticle cuttage was done the previous day) and during the time from 4:45-6:00pm a good 20 minutes was spent sitting there with powdery hands waiting for Tiffany to come back. It was a whole slew of things from customers dropping in for appointments to phone calls for setting up appointments to one of the workers slipping on the floor. Ive been to other salons that usually have someone at the desk but maybe this person called in sick that day.In the end, I got my pretty nails for the wedding. Will I come back? No, it was too much for me. Back to back manicures have now made my fingers feel like I placed them in a blender for 30 minutes. Also with the stress of the redo nails Im pretty sure all the workers are calling me a Karen in Vietnamese.

I usually always come here to get my nails done but today was the last time I will step foot in here. I received a service that I did not like and when I asked to have them taken off and refunded I was told that no refunds were given. I explained that I’m not the type of person to complain. They usually charge 40-45 for a long full set at least the times I’ve gone that’s what I’ve paid. But today they charge me the same price for something so short.I also asked for a dark DARK burgundy close to black but not quite and this turned out red. They told me that the color on display are 2 years old and I have to wait 2 days for it to get darker? If I had a problem with the color that I need to contact the manufacturer. The lady was very rude and just laughed in my face that she would not give me a refund. I then told her that I would just call my bank since refused and told okay well I’ll call my boss and threw the 5$ at me.This isn’t my first visit they are always so nice and very good with the job today was very rude and unprofessional and I will never come back. Make sure to pick a good color because apparently it might not be the same

My nail tech was “Simon”. He was so thorough and careful. The salon was packed when I went so I was concerned about getting a quality set. In my experiences when the salon is full the techs do a rushed job busy to get to the next person. But with Simon he really took his time and was detail-oriented without me having to ask! WITHOUT ME HAVING TO ASK. And the things I did ask for a was accommodating and careful. I LOVE my acrylic full set. Neat and natural looking.The man at the front desk (the owner??) gave me good advice about different types of nails and polishes. He told me what would work best for me and what would last the longest. Not once did I fee like anyone was trying to up-sell me or trick me into something I didn’t want.Honest. Thorough. Careful. I am so MAD I read the reviews on YELP and they were all TRUE!!! BEST EVERYTHING with the service. The poison for me is I am no where near this salon but distance wont stop me. I read on Yelp that she will tell you no, I havent created that look but lets do it! I love HONESTY! My appt was at 1, I showed her a pic of what I wanted with modifications. She picked out the base color and went to work!!!! After she told me the price WHICH made me fall out of my chair, because I have been OVERPAYING for poor quality nails for a while now, wine came shortly thereafter. Ana was extremely detailed with the glitter it made me chuckle because I loved them as is. She was so determined to spread the glitter sparkles so color coordinated. It was REFRESHING to have a refill done with patience, time, detail and VALUE for the customer! I havent had my nails SQUARE super SQUARE like this in forever! Ana really listened to what I wanted.I am thrilled I found this salon through Yelp and Ana!!! I cant wait to get my bday nails done! The last 2 plain pics are 45.00 refills. My nails with Ombre, french and accent were the BEST price ever!!!!

I came here due to the good reviews and they did not disappoint. Lin was very attentive during my pedicure, Michael was the star that made my experience so pleasant. He is SUPER patient, I am not a technicians idea customer because I am picky, 100% indecisive, and demanding.Michael didn’t treat me any different despite my 35 minutes of helping me pick a color that matches my dip nails and regular polish toes only to end up choosing gel and a whole new color. He made sure I received my moscato, that I was pleased with the colors, shape, shine, etc. I would make sure you ask for him as he does both mani and pedi.Well worth the money and a good tip. ☺️

Im new to the area so I was scared finding a new place I loved like my usual place. Found the one on google with the best and most reviews and went. The second I walked in I was impressed with how clean everything is. They are definitely taking every step necessary to stay sanitary and make their customers comfortable. Loved the service, my nails turned out beautiful. Plus a 7 day warranty on the nails?! Never heard that before. So thankful for that, I love it!

Im a short short nail girl today I stepped ot of the box and Matthew made me feel very comfortable with my decision on top of doing a beautiful job. He listened to what I wanted and advised me accordingly!!!! Everything came out perfect and Lisas pedicure was everything I will be back!!!
