Came out three times to repair our fridge, never actual fixed it permanently. They said their work was out of warranty, and a another attempt would be another service charge.They at least honored their warranty twice after their initial attempt to fix the fridge and came out for free both times.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Our refrigerator stopped cooling so we called Same Day Appliance Repair Houston to come out and fix it ASAP since we have a toddler and an infant and cannot live without a refrigerator for long. They sent Felix out on 3/3/21 and he walked in to collect his $80 service call fee and did little to nothing else. He was here for maybe 10 minutes (that is probably being generous) and tested the voltage of the refrigerator and said it looked fine to him. No knocking noise so everything was okay according to him. Well the refrigerator was about 60 degrees plugged in and set in the 30s so that didnt seem fine to me. We called Sears out and within an hour of arrival they had replaced the compressor which was under warranty and we paid for the labor. The refrigerator has worked great ever since. I e-mailed and called Same Day Appliance with our receipt from Sears and requested a refund for the $80 fee since Felix did literally nothing for us and the issue seemed to be obvious to the experienced Sears repairman. After weeks of waiting to hear back they called and said no, there was nothing they could do for us. This is simply poor customer service and their unwillingness to make the situation right does not sit well with me. I do not want any other unsuspecting customer to call them and be taken advantage of like we were. Must be nice to run a business where you walk in and take $80 and leave!

Jay was phenomenal! My mom promised him we’d leave a review & I am keeping my promise. An hour after we called Same Day Appliance (Houston), Jay arrived in within an hour. He was friendly, knowledgeable & informative. Followed CDC guidelines & walked me through everything he was doing. He definitely knows what he’s doing & his confidence in himself and his work displays just that. I’m glad I found Same Day Appliance repair in. the Houston area;the work was done quickly & efficiently. Thanks again!

DONT USE THEIR SERVICE..Repair technician came to diagnose water dispenser non-functioning in Samsung fridge. I was given $400 cost estimate to replace water inlet valve. I explained to technician that water filter does not seem to have air-tight connection in the housing and may be the reason for the issue. I ordered the water inlet valve from Samsung store on Amazon and replaced the water inlet valve myself. The water dispenser still does not work. when I called them so that technician can have a second look at the water filter housing, they refused saying they cant touch an equipment which have been serviced by client.

This company is on reliable. I called his company over a month ago and two men came out and determined that I needed a digital board for my dishwasher. The pricing expensive to me so I told them that I will let them know if I wanted them to do the work. I thought about it and decided to let them do the work. I called them and they said OK we order the part it will come in within a day or two. A week pasted and I still did not hear back from the company so I called them. A lady told me that the parts came in and someone would be it my home the next day or someone would call me. A week later, I still did not receive a phone call or no one came by to fix the dishwasher. Again I called the company and asked what is going on. The same lady who answered the phone said she will contact the technician and find out. She also said she would personally called me to let me know when things were going to happen. A week and a half later I get ready to call them and said screw this and called somebody else. I called RapidHandy Appliance Repair. They came out and also determined that it was a digital board and replaced it The same day. They were courteous and professional. I do not recommend Same Day Appliance Repair because they seem to be incapable of keeping their word. This is the technician and the people in the office. The repair is definitely not the same day. In my case, it was not at all. Till this day they still have not called me back. smh

Called on a Saturday and they weren’t available until Monday. Came to the appointment and identified the compressor as the problem. Quoted me $1200, stating that Freon was super expensive right now. This was double the amount of two quotes I had previously gotten from other companies. I declined the service and paid though appointment fee, the technician started to leave without reattaching the back panels to the refrigerator. Would not recommend.

Twice weve used SameDayApplianceRepair to handle a refrigerator. The first time was a holiday weekend and they had to order the part. Order was expected Monday. On Monday the technician called to let us know it was delayed and when we could expect it. Followed up when it was received (a day early) and worked with us for a time that day. Second time was as professional and helpful. These folks are great.

They were on time and extremely helpful. The tech explained the problem and how to prevent further issues down the road. Rates were incredibly reasonable. I would highly recommend for repairs.

Felix came out and did a great job. His first visit was to trouble-shoot. Not only did he listen, he was very consultative and honest in his feedback. The second visit he did the work (today), and did a great job....much like last time, he was very professional, punctual, and clearly skilled at what he does.

My computer on my gas stove was completely burnt out in a power surge. You could imagine we couldn’t use the oven at all! The part came in in two days and Victor was right back to install it for me with such ease! You won’t go wrong if you use these guys!

Victor Sevillano was superb! Polite and thorough, he solved a difficult problem we had with a gas smell coming from the dryer on our clothes when the machine was running. A tile guy had moved the machine two weeks earlier and did not hook the gas up properly afterwards. Victor explained clearly everything that he was doing and he was very kind and patient as he solved our problem. He was worth every penny and he charged us fairly.

Scheduled service for the washer at my business, told them it was under warranty. They came out when I wasnt in the office so they called me to give me a quote for repairs. I asked about the warranty and was told The minute our repairman touched your machine your warranty was voided I should have been told that BEFORE they came out. Apparently they are trained but not certified in that brand.I was unhappy, but approved the repairs because I figured it was at least partly my fault for not making 100% sure that the warranty would be honored. I requested a receipt, as I was paying with a corporate card and did not get one. I had to request it several times. When I finally got it, it was for miscellaneous services. Requested a detailed invoice showing repairs performed but still havent heard back. The last person I spoke with was rude, unapologetic and made a snarky comment and giggled into the phone before hanging up on me. Overall, a very frustrating experience.Update: over a month has gone by and I still do not have an itemized invoice. Im not even sure I was charged appropriately (credited for the service call).

Same Day saved us from having to replace our washer and dryer (since they are stacked) when the washer drain pump went out. Service was great, got a call letting me know they were on the way and repairs were completed in under 3 hours. They even fixed the dryer vent pipe that had been damaged by the movers. They were very quick to respond for the initial visit but when no one called or showed back up when the technician advised we had to call then were told it would be several more days before he came back to do the repair. Everyone seemed very nice and informative except for this. So this along with the fact that I am now on my way to Lowe’s to get a new valve that was broken during the repair is why I removed a star. I know the response will be the valve was old but it wasn’t broken prior and the technician said this is very common so may be a good idea for them to advise this prior to starting work or being the valves (wouldn’t have minded paying extra for it) to the repairs. Just being completely open for others looking to use their service. All the best.

Called and asked for an estimate on parts and labor and was able to give exact part number and details. They would not give an estimate said someone would have to come out and charge a fee then give a quote on parts and labor...sounds like a scam!!!! Not sure why they cant give a quote with a specific part number given and the estimate to fix, when all details are given.

On 10/16, I paid $100 to Same Day Appliance Repair to come out to my house to repair my Kenmore washing machine that had stopped working. The technician advised that he needed to order a part in order to fix the problem and the cost would be approximately $500 (in addition to the $100 that I had already paid). On 10/23 the same technician came out to the house and supposedly replaced the broken part and charged me $501.36 for the part and labor (invoice # 50411). A week later, the same problem I was originally having with the washing machine happened again. I called Same Day Appliance Repair and they advised that another part needed to be ordered and that it wouldnt be delivered until February. Today is April 5th and my washing machine is still not working. I have called Same Day Appliance Repair probably close to 50 times and each time I was told they dont know the status and that I would receive a follow up call (I still havent heard from anyone). So, to summarize my issue: I paid Same Day Appliance Repair $601.36 in October to fix my washing machine that is still not fixed (that is over 6 months without my washing machine) and I still cant get a status update. I am starting to think of this as fraud - they took my money and told me they would fix my washing machine but didnt fix it.

I was so devastated when my dryer went out. Such a big appliance to replace during this time of the year was gut wrenching. And at that all the dryers were on back order so even if I had bought one we wouldn’t have received it until late January. Same Day Appliance Repair came out and fixed my dryer in 20minutes. A true blessing! Please do not hesitate to give them a call! Super Affordable, great techs and even better customer service!

Called about getting cooktop burners serviced. After sending pictures of the issue and the fact that my cooktop had no brand labels, I was informed of the delima. She told me that I could have a tech come out and clean the burners. But if that doesnt work, nothing else could be done because they wouldnt know what part to order cause they dont know the brand name. I would still need to pay for the service call however. Or I could try and clean the burners myself and all I would lose was my time spent. She even sent me pictures of the tool to use and explained to me how to do it. Well I happened to have that tool available already. And following her advice, my burners are working much better than they were before. I appreciated her help so much. And eventhough I didnt have to use their service this time, I will definitely keep them in mind in the future. That is real customer service!!!

Donovan was great!! He was able to get our dryer working again quickly! With the pandemic and parts being on backorder, his ingenuity in deciding to use alternate wheels for the drum paid off; otherwise, I would have been stuck without a dryer for a month or more. I cannot recommend this company as they wholly failed to resolve a problem with our LG Front Load Washer in over a month that was easily remedied by another company the first day they came out. I first called Same Day Appliance Repair on 12/19/20. The washer displayed error code OE, and according to LGs website this indicates that the washer is not properly draining and the second step, after checking for a kinked drain line, is to check the drain pump. Our repairman, Donovan, did not identify the drain pump and instead told us it was the drain sensor and it would be about a week before the part arrived. Donovan then came in late December and replaced the drain sensor for I believe $227.00, of which $150.00 was labor and, saying it should be fixed, left before the washer cycled. The washer did not drain and when I informed Donovan he did not offer to return, resulting in us having to manually drain the washer and creating a big mess in the laundry room. Donovan then said he believed the problem was the main control board and that it would take about a month to receive the part because it was on backorder. At no point did he identify the drain pump as the likely source of the problem even though I specifically asked about this. After about three week without any update, I contacted the company to ask if the main control board had arrived and they dispatched a new repairman Alex on 1/21/21. Alex told us that the drain pump was failing and that the main control board needed to be replaced. Having read considerably about LG Front Load Washers at this point I said I understood the drain pump, but that I now questioned if the main control board was an issue. He was unable to adequately explain this, but said that he did not see that the board was ever ordered and that he would check how long it would take to arrive and update us the next day. I never heard from him again, which is fine because my wife, who thankfully has less patience than me, called another service the next day who immediately identified the drain pump as the issue and repaired the washer on the same day for $185.00. Since then the washer has worked fine. The other company also said they were confident that the main control board wasnt an issue, noting that the washer was able to cycle through its test program that LG designed to diagnose errors, and that a washer with a faulty main control board shouldnt be able to do this. I feel that Same Day Appliance Repair cost me $227.00 in with a unnecessary repair when the issue should have been easy to diagnose and repair the first time they came out.

Although there was some confusion as to what I needed done, the repairman was excellent and I think fair. That is it cost less than the estimate. Happy with the outcome although unhappy with GE.

The transmission on our washer went out and we had it replaced by these folks. Their guys came out on time, were very knowledgeable and super patient in all they explained and did. They were very friendly and cleaned up before they left. We were provided with a 1 year warranty covering both parts and labor. We are glad we had them out and will 100% use them again should we ever need them. Our technicians were Nelson and Oscar.

Tech come to evaluate the fixed and pay for $700 and dont work and have to pay them to buy more parts to make work$500 more total 1,200 lets see if the work now

One of the Same Day Appliance technicians came to my house January 4th. I happily paid him $59.95 for diagnostics on my washer and agreed to the repair. He was to order the parts and call me back to schedule the repair. As of January 22nd, I have not been able to get a technician back to put the parts in. I have called at least 4 times. I keep getting the run around about scheduling. Same day is more like 3 Weeks! I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jay last week when he came out to look at my upright freezer, I had only had it an year and wasn’t quite ready to get rid of it just yet, he came out and assess it and told me exactly what I needed, as well as the cost, which i might add was quite reasonable I was really appreciative that the company sent Jay back out, he fixed my freezer with no issues and assured me of the 1 year warranty, if i could give him 10 stars I would.
