Wow at the level of friendliness... I havent seen patience and kindness like this since I moved from NC. I called today to look for a terminal block for my stove. I was skeptical they would have it since Amazon and other online parts dealers were saying 1 week to ship. Called A Best up, got a brand new genuine Whirlpool/Frigidaire part, $6 cheaper than online! The ones online were also some Chinese no-name garbage that will probably give you herpes, run off with your wife, and burn your house down. All jokes aside, here is where these guys win: Roger took time to tell me what probably went wrong with my oven, giving me peace of mind that my house wont burn down. He also had the wire terminals I needed, saving me a trip to Lowes. they seemed to take great care of their shop. I will be back should the need ever arise!

Three months ago I purchased a washer and dryer with a six month warranty for parts and labor. Two days after having my washer and dryer installed the dryer quit. I called them and was told I needed to bring the dryer back to them! I am 67 years old and disabled. They never told me that I would need to bring the appliance to them if something went wrong. I have never heard of such a thing. They have refused to service the dryer. Their failure to deliver services as promised and their misrepresentation of the services available constitutes unlawful trade practices act under the Oregon Unlawful Trade Practices Act. Their actions are a violation ofORS 646.607(2) and 646.608(1)(e). This case is now under review by the Consumer Protection Dept of the Attorney General office. They said I live too far away. I am exactly 15.2 miles away. People beware. I still don’t have a working dryer because I can’t afford another $300.00 to have it fixed.

A Best showed up as scheduled appreciated the phone call that they were coming, so I wasnt stuck at home waiting for them. The gentlemen that came were just that gentlemen. They came and asked what the issues were with our dishwasher. After our explanation he knew exactly what was wrong ! It was less than an hour fix we needed a heating element and some type of pump. Once that was resolved they gave us some tips and tricks to make the dishwasher work better. We were very impressed. Plus the whole thing start to finish was 110 dollars. Incredible!!! Thank you A best for great service and prices that are reasonable for average family !!!!

The person that helped me was great, he diagnosed the problem with my washer based on the symptoms I explained to him and then he even brought me in the back and showed me how to perform the repair on my washer myself, the parts were only $35 and it completely fixed my washer saving me $100s, that was 3 years ago and its still running strong! I would highly recommend this place to anyone that values a business based on integrity.

Although it took a few days for an initial diagnosis and then an additional few days for the part to arrive we greatly appreciated the service we recieved from A best appliance. Would definitely use them again!

These guys have always treated me right with appliance repair. He even sent me away with a broken freezer once after telling me what was wrong and refused to take any money. I have an oven that pops a thermal fuse every time we self-clean (design flaw). He helped me identify the issue and sold me a part at a reasonable price. I have since discovered I can buy that part on Amazon for a fraction of the price but when Im stumped I come here first!

The fan had gone out on my 28 year old Frigidaire refrigerator. A-Best was here in about an hour and was able to replace the fan. I was so thankful for the quick service so did not have any food spoilage.

I like this establishment. It reminds me of the way it used to be. They were helpful on the phone, and knew who I was before I made it to the counter. My parts were ready on the counter, everyone was very friendly, and I was in the road in less than 2 minutes. Recommended.

My fridge was making loud grinding sound and not cooling. I called A Best Appliance and was told how to fix the problem over the phone. Very helpful and my problem is solved! Just to compare: I had called the sears repair service and they wouldnt even let me talk to a technician. They wanted to charge me $90 just for the house call to have the tech assess the situation. I will be calling A Best Appliance next time!

Called with dishwasher problem. When Rodger arrived and took a look at the indicator light on the dishwasher door and he instantly knew what the problem was. Somehow the child lockout had been activated, he showed us how to reset it and only charged a $25.00 service call fee. We could have been talked into any number of costly repair scenarios.From our past dealings with him we feel he is very honest and knowledgeable and we HIGHLY recommend him.

Fast, friendly, and locally owned. After getting hung up on before I even talked to an associate at Home Depot I went by their store. They got me the parts I needed for less than I wouldve spent on the internet and made me feel welcome the entire time I was there... Definitely recommend these guys for appliance parts and repair.

As a long term customer of this business, I am bitterly disappointed with the utter lack of regard of my situation; and poor customer service. Suffice it to say, they saw me coming and overcharged me for a 26 year old laundry pair (because according the Mary, the old ones work better). When it started chewing up my clothes and linens, I relied on the fact I was a long term customer to rectify the situation--I was wrong. They would only fix the situation if I coughed up another $200.00 for a 15 year old pair. I had contacted them well within my warranty period to make these fixes. Due to family circumstances out of my control I was out of touch for a bit, but went back in prior to the end of warranty to ask them for their help, and they would not even speak with me, other than to the service guy telling me to wash everything on delicate. I called to speak with Mary, but my calls were blocked, and my messages unreturned. I finally sold the hunk of junk on Craigslist for 1/3 of what I paid 6 months ago. Once a big fan of the little family owned store, I advertised for them to anyone in need of quality, used appliances. NEVER AGAIN! Suffice it to say, not only will I never set foot in the shop again, I will do my best to make certain anyone I come in contact with in the greater Washington County area, in need of used appliances, doesnt either.

They are fast, knowledgeable, and honest. They do not try to upsell a repair. I have used them many times for my rentals homes. They call the tenant and make an appointment and then make the repair that is needed. Highly recommend.

My husband called 1 week ago to schedule repair and order parts. They called us back with part prices and said that they could be out on this Saturday because they had to wait for the parts. Called this morning to see what the ETA was and we were told that they didnt even order the parts!!! Ofcourse this is after i tore my laundry room apart to make it easier in the repair guy to do his job. The female company representative said that it was our fault that THEY didnt order the parts. REALLY?? I will never give businesses to this company again. Now I have to put my laundry room back together and find a reputable business to take care of my repair.

The lady who answers the phone is so rude & unprofessional. Our property management called them to fix our stove & boy was she snarly it’s a hassle to make an appointment she don’t care about customer service . I will let everyone i know to stay clear of this place ...
