Extremely unprofessional took my truck in for engine troubles and found out it wasn’t worth fixing, so I was trying to get it sold or take it to a scrap yard and my truck sat outside their shop since it is no longer able to run. They wanted it moved and wanted the bill paid which was the plan and they got impatient so instead of calling the 2 phone numbers we provided they called my work to pass on that message and my work was not pleased with that nor was I after getting in trouble at work. Never called my phone or attempted to leave a message just called my work to deal with it when it was never their problem nor their responsibility to deal with, would not recommend this place when there are plenty of other establishments that will handle situations like this better.

In October 2020, on the way to Colorado to visit family our RangeRover completely shut down with an alternator failure. As all of the lights on the dashboard went dark we dialed Mikes from I-70. They instantly began looking for the part we needed. Hays Kansas is not big, it also isnt close to much. Before arriving at Mikes we lost ALL power. We arrived by Tow Truck (Black Dog towing shout out!). Caitlin @ Mikes presented two choices of where, and how, to obtain the parts (Rover parts are notoriously hard to find). Caitlin not only secured parts for immediate shipping, she gave us - and our pup - a ride to the rental car office. We were able to make our check in time in Fort Collins. Our parts arrived ON TIME. Mike installed them immediately and we had the SUV back faster than we ever experienced in Indianapolis. The repair bill was lower than we would have paid at our local mechanic, we offered to split the difference with Mike, he declined. He said fair was fair. Great folks! Was looking for someone that worked on Honda’s and they advertised so on there web page. I’ve made an appointment with them twice and they were super helpful with transportation when I had to drop my car off. I had brakes+rotor and a timing belt service done in separate intervals and both times my car was done the same day. Will definitely come back for any maintenance. Thanks Mike!

I had a terrible vibration while driving on I-70 such that my car needed to be towed to a shop to be looked at. After reading reviews I decided on Mikes. I soon learned why they have so many 5-star reviews. Mike diagnosed my problem as a cut tire (on inside where it could not be seen) that was causing an imbalance and the source of the vibration. Caitlyn was awesome and even took our wheel to get the tire swapped out. I cannot say enough about Mikes as people and shops like this are few and far between these days. I highly recommend!

Ive used Mikes a couple times, and each time has been great. He just recently fixed a coolant leak on my Volkswagen, where he had to take a bunch of things apart and order a new part, and he still had my car back to me in two days after finding the problem. The prices are very reasonable, and everyone is very friendly and helpful in explaining everything.

Honest, quality repairs. My daughter goes to college in Hays and we live out of state. Wonderful to know there is a great place to get her car fixed. (Twice now). Mike is an excellent mechanic and very personable.Our BMW 740i broke down on an Easter weekend while we were traveling back to Michigan. Mike and his staff treated us like family: Mike not only got my car in first thing Monday morning, but his driver took me back to my hotel, and later picked me up and took me back to get my car! And Mike replaced the water pump in just a few hours.

Mike is very honest and calm. He got me back on the road with a new transmission after my van broke down en route to Denver. During the process he fixed a vacuum seal leak, which was causing my van to idle high.Hayley is the receptionist. She’s very knowledgeable and gracefully facilitated the complicated scheduling while we were waiting for the transmission to arrive. She was very kind and reassuring every time I called for an update-which was often!During this experience I was out of state, as I had to leave my van behind to make it to a job on time. When I flew in from Denver to pick up my van, Hayley even offered me a ride!Mikes auto was a breath of fresh air after having my van towed from a not-so-savory smaller shop in town.Thanks guys for making me feel taken care of in a stressful situation!

If I could give 10 stars I would!!!!!Mike is AWESOME! My daughter and I were traveling across country when a bolt that held the alternator on fell out.. We made it to his shop to find that the bracket was also broken. S&W Supply stepped in and welded the bracket and Mike found a replacement bolt! We are so thankful to have found such honest and great people!!😄 Cant thank them enough!! Got us on our way safely and quickly!!
