Fabulous place! All the hair gods perform miracles. Its a nice, relaxing place. Ive never left from there not loving my hair. I had fried my hair REALLY BAD before. Like crispy when dry and stretchy when wet. The ladies there saved my hair. Its been healthy ever since, and Ive not gone to another salon/spa since!! Absolutely recommend for their services and all their great products!!

Kayla is exceptional! Very professional, she gives the best manicures and pedicures. She often recommends new nail colors, which I always like. Such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Service was good, but i wish somebody would have told me ahead of time, how much services & products would be. I got ready to check out & my bill was over $400!! Now im worth that & more but i just wish i knew ajead of time, Jessica did good.

My mother had a bad experience with the stylists. She went for her hair coloring and the hair was not colored all the way in the roots in certain areas. She was told by the staff that was her fault each time she had an issue. She gave them business and they still did not value her as a customer. My mother will never go to Aveda Salon again.

Consistent and worth what you pay if you have longer hair or more style needs. Barber shops butchering your flow will cost you more in the end!

This was my first experience at the studio Aveda salon and it was very good , I did a haircut and the stylist (Devin) did a great job and she was very professional.. all the staff were amazing, nice and friendly I will absolutely recommend it ,this is my salon from now on..

I went to The Studio-Aveda the second time today and left super happy for the second time. I took photos for a cut and color to their stylist Satchl and left with better results than the pics I even took in! 5 stars for sure!

I love The Studio. I quit going into the salon for several months due to the pandemic. I finally decided I definitely needed some grooming. Poor Lauren had a mess to work with. I had whacked my hair myself and did a really poor job of it (uneven in the back, bangs too short, ...). But it looks great now. Ive received complements on my new short hair-do (when she looked at the back, she said Were going to have to go short. Yeah, I kind of knew that.) And everyone there is friendly and just so darn nice. So ... good service, nice people. What more do you want?

I arrived here early for a morning appointment and they took me in early. Such a friendly staff, they make sure that I get everything I need. Very clean area and friendly atmosphere. It is worth the price.

Kayla is a wonderful pedicure artist--and does a great job with waxing, as well. I recommend any service she offers. The same goes for Bianca. I love how she cuts and colors my hair. She respects my ideas; at the same time, she has great advice to contribute. A very talented stylist and colorist.

She has put much painstaking consideration into the soft reopen of the salon during Covid-19, when city rules are changing daily. Kristi did an amazing job on my hair! I wanted a completely new look that complimented my features and didnt damage my curls. She delivered the best haircut I could ever ask for and listened to everything I said. The rest of the staff was so polite and welcoming! I’ve been fortunate to have Hannah coloring and cutting my hair for past 2 years. She always does a wonderful job, is a true professional and works her magic every time! All staff members treat clients with a warm, welcoming smile and make them feel special. Can’t say enough good things about the staff and experience here.

I am giving two stars due to the fact that the customer is being charged an extra $10 to offset COVID-19 prices. My dry cut (just nicking off the split ends) cost $50 and I was in the salon less than 20 minutes. That is almost the cost of a cut, wash, and style! I love the the stylists, and the work they do there, but I will not return as I feel that is overpriced for what I have done.

This was my first time at The Studio, Hattiesburg (I live primarily in Buffalo NY but recently bought a home in Hattiesburg). After three months of Covid Lock Down, my hair was a disaster! But, Ms. Carly was very patient, which helped me relax, and gave me a wonderful cut and color (we were well beyond just doing a root touch up!).Overall, I found the staff to be very courteous and friendly. The salon is clean and stylishly decorated. The whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable. And, I have my next appointment already booked!Elizabeth S.

This would be my favorite guilty pleasure in town! I’ve missed it and look forward to them reopening soon after this COVID crisis. The salon is remarkably peaceful...and the cleanliness is downright clinical. And I got a terrific haircut. Highly professional...I will definitely reschedule at The Studio - AVEDA.

I am a repeat customer at the The Studio, and have never had a negative experience. I have always been treated very well, and my hair has always looked amazing every time I leave. The food and margaritas are so good. Great service...

I specifically told the girl to fade the sides, leave the top long, and then style the top. She cut everything the same length in about 2 seconds and ran some gel through it. Will not be going back. Would not recommend for a guy unless you want something with no contrast or no sense of style. Very disappointed.

This place is a hot mess. I book my appointments 2 or so months in advance and they are constantly calling and canceling, and then its another month before I can get in. The receptionists are icy and unfriendly and I have never felt well treated at this salon.The final straw, however, is when the last stylist I saw cut my hair into layers after I specifically told her not to. I told her, because I have very fine hair, that I have been working for some time on a long bob because it makes my hair look thicker. Apparently, she thought she knew better and now Im right back where I started a year ago. My only option is to deal with it looking thin and shaggy on the sides or chopping 4 or 5 inches off.I was so angry it has taken me months to be able to write this review. There are too many good stylists, who want to make their clients happy to waste money at this place. Never again.

I came here for a gel manicure and really enjoyed the salon. The entire staff is so friendly and it’s a very relaxing atmosphere.

They are too hight price for kids hair cut I thank paying $35.00 is too much for that much you need to give out shampoo and conditioner with it or shampoo and conditioner my child hair if its going to be $35.00 for a hair cut and I thank you need to do a deep conditioner on the kids hair if its going to be that much for a kids hair cut it should be $10.00 - $15.00 for a child hair cut A kids hair cut should not be the same as a woman or a man hair cut that not rite at all if a person is on a fix income they cant pay $35.00 - $40.00 for a hair cut

I am really late posting this review . I moved from California last year and had the same hairstylist for 20 years. I was really worried about finding another great hairstylist. I went to another salon when I first came to Ms. and I was very disappointed . I made an appt. at Aveda and had Mackenzie do my hair. I was very impressed with the way she matched my color and cut my hair. She did an outstanding job. She is very articulate, friendly and makes sure you look awesome when you leave. I have now been going to her for over a year, and I hope she never moves away because she does an awesome job. I also like the Aveda studio, everyone is so friendly and nice. They also give hand massages . I had a headache one day and they warmed up a thing you put around your neck to provide relief and it sure helped. Trust me make an appt. here, you will love the people and the treatment you receive here. Ask for Mackenzie, she is awesome!

Sorry this is long, Theres a bottom line at the end of you scroll downI went to The Studio on a Friday. I’d never been there before but it came highly recommended by classmates. I have really thick curly hair that I know can be a bit of a challenge but I figured they’d know what they were doing. I waited for 45 minutes after my appointment. It was hard to hold a conversation with my stylist (Karly) but I figured no biggie. I came out with wet hair bc I normally let it air dry so I figured I’d do that to see what it’d look on the day to day. Once it was dry I realized that one side was longer than the other and I had 2 weird, blunt layers. I warned Karly that I don’t do much with my hair other than scrunch some product in and go which would mean, to me, that blunt layers is a no go (I thought curly hair was a no go with blunt layrs?).I called to complain. I asked for a manager and the receptionist said no, I asked again and she said no but I could talk to her. So I complained about my hair, and not being able to talk to a manager then she told me she was a manager (by magic?). She told me that Karly is the cut coach and she wouldn’t mess up, but if I want to come in to get it fixed I can. I said if she coaches all the other stylists I don’t want them touching my hair. I went on to tell her about my hair cut when she cut me off and told me I could call the owner tomorrow if I wanted to, but she would NOT be available until after noon.I called the next day and asked for the owner. I said to her “I called yesterday to complain about my haircut, and today I’m calling to complain about my haircut and a rude receptionist. She cut me off to say that “Savannah doesn’t have a rude bone in her body. I work with her all the time, you must be wrong.” (she wasn’t working yesterday when we were on the phone so how could she know?) Usually people aren’t rude around the owner of the business that they work for but if she says that the receptionist’s x-rays have been reviewed for rude bones I must be wrong? I agreed to come in to have her take a look.She sat me down with the Karly who started out by telling me that the cut isn’t uneven. As she was checking and cutting it (I didn’t want her touching my hair again!). I told her that if she’s cutting now there must be something wrong with the cut she did 3 days ago. She said No. she went on to tell me that I must not know how to handle such a “bold” cut and I must have never had layers before. I have always had layers. I’ve never had a “bold” cut and was unaware that I asked for one when I told her low maintenance. She also told me since I let her leave it wet she had no way to check it (really? One side was an inch longer than the other)I am not a hair stylist, I expect when I go to one that they’ll listen to what I want and do what will work with my hair and lifestyle. That’s how it’s worked for me in the past. I was surprised about how much of her uneven “bold” cut was my fault. No one apologized or even verbalized the cut was bad. She sure cut off a good amount for it to have been perfect how it was done.Bottom line- This aveda salon came highly recommended and it seems most people have a good experience there. I won’t trust my curls there again not only because how it was cut but how the problem was handled by the stylist, receptionist, and owner.
