They wanted to sell me a $15 per month warranty. I politely declined. They asked again a few minutes later. I politely declined. They added the $15 a month warranty anyway. I said, “I said no two times to the $15 a month warranty”. The AT&T employee replied, “I thought you were referring to a phone case”. They said they could not take the warranty off today, that I have to wait for my new phone to arrive in the mail in order to take the warranty off. They said once the phone arrives in the mail I’ll need to bring it back to the store and only then will they will be able to remove the $15 a month warranty from my bill. I waited for the phone to be delivered, I brought it back to the store, they said they removed the $15 a month warranty off my bill. 3 hours later (at 8:10PM) I got an email from AT&T corporate thanking me for signing up for the $15 a month warranty on my new phone.They also said HBO Max is included in my plan. I could not get the login to work (HBO Max app > sign in with provider > choose AT&T > log in the the AT&T username and password) so I was on customer support with AT&T via the chat feature on the website. They concluded that I should have HBO Max but there was an issue that will take 72 hours to resolve. Then the AT&T customer support rep tried to sell me a watch. I wish I was making this up, but I have the chat transcript of customer support trying to sell me a watch, as well as the email confirming my warranty that I said no to repeatedly.

I am writing this review for Maria Barber who posted a review on Monday 8/16/21. This review said Great service from Jordan. Maria doesnt know how to leave a Google review which leads me to believe Jordan left a review for theirself. This is unacceptable behavior. Maria, like many, struggles with technology and like anyone would, do went for IT help. The fact that Jordan broke her trust by using her phone to do anything other than what she requested shows poor character not only of the employee but the establishment itself. Are we to expect this treatment with all IT help? How are we to know Jordan only left a Google review. Phones hold personal information and this behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

I needed to buy a new phone the day I walked in since my old phone was barely working. I walked in at 6:30, and it literally took until 8:00 for all of my data to transfer!! 8:00 was closing time, but he stayed late to make sure everything was completely transferred onto my new phone!! He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and went the extra mile for me!!! You have a gem of an employee at your store!!! Thank you, Eduardo!!!

After signing up to migrate my families device from Sprint to AT&T, we had nothing but issues. Four phone calls to Customer Service & a trip to two separate stores and nobody could help us upgrade the sealed, unopened phones. I was on a continuous loop of zero assistance and rude help. I was beyond frustrated and ready to throw in the towel and stay with our current phones and provider. One last ditch effort to the Corporate AT&T store in Hanover and our luck had changed! Initially we worked with a manager Zach to get us started and then finished the transaction with Jordan. Both gentlemen were so helpful, accommodating and patient with us. They handled everything we needed, Between porting over our lines to activating the new phones to returning our old phones and buying new accessories they handled it all! Even though the store is about 30 minutes drive (I have 2 stores in my town) it was well worth the drive for the service I received. I will be giving them my business from now on and would encourage anyone else on the south shore to do the same. Thank you Zach and Jordan, looking forward to doing business with you again soon.

My mother in law and I went down to this store today a bit after noon time August 10th due to her having technical difficulties with her phone and her late husbands phone. She couldnt call out on her phone and on her husbands phone whenever she would call my number it rang my phone but a random unknown guy answered everytime. Anyways they switched her account onto her husbands old phone and we tested my number to see if it actually got though to me and it did. And the AT&T technician whos name is Karl was super nice and professional. I dont know if he or anyone will see this but wanted to compliment him on how he treated us with lots of respect. Thank you

Jordan was wonderful! I walked in with two problems that I had been trying to solve online for a few weeks to no avail. Jordan had both problems solved within 20 minutes. He was also polite and friendly and made me feel as if he was definitely interested in customer service. That’s how customer service ought to be. However you might inform your home base they could improve their confusing online service.

I made an appointment for 2:30 online & called just prior because I couldn’t find it. The man who answered the phone said, “Well, we’re in the plaza, near Home Goods & another store, neither of which was next to AT&T. I asked him if that was in Cranberry Crossing & he said yes. He seemed annoyed that I was calling. When I arrived at the store @ 2:30, there was a man talking to a couple. He continued talking. In the meantime, another customer comes in & wanders through the store. Finally, the man stops talking to the customers & I think he called over to me & asked me if he could help me, I told him I had a 2:30 app’t & he gets up & walks over to a room in the back. He comes out & says “someone will be right out. I continue to wait & he again goes to the back room & comes back out & says the person “is in back & he’ll be out in a few minutes,. He’s having his lunch.” He tells me to have a seat. I go & sit down & wait about 8-9 more minutes. Finally, a young man saunters out, says hello & how can I help you. I explain my problem & he shows me how it works. I had more questions, but I felt like he wasn’t interested in helping me any further, so I thanked him & I left.For a little background info, I received an iPhone XR from my daughter for Mother’s Day. The phone had no instructions with it & I looked up some info online, specifically how to set up Voicemail, because all phones are different. Initially, my daughter & I went to the AT&T store in Hanover to get the info transferred from my Motorola phone over to my new iPhone. This was my first time using an iPhone. The people at the Hanover store were very helpful & attentive, even though there were more customers in that store. The man in Hanover who helped me transfer my info was excellent & stayed with us until everything was done. I would not go to the store in Cranberry Crossing again.You asked - so there you are.

Anthony at the Hanover location has helped me out tremendously. he is an amazing worker and an amazing asset you guys have there. i had went in explaining my problems i was having with AT&T and he sat down with me talking with customer service making sure everything was set up to the way i wanted it. Zac and his crew at the ATandT store on Washington Street in Hanover, MA provided the kind of service that one hopes to find when one enters a business but, sadly, rarely does. They were amazing: very helpful, personable, competent, and accommodating.The store had a surprisingly welcoming atmosphere.Although it was busy, Zac made sure each customer received prompt attention and showed genuine interest in their concerns. Transacting business there was actually a pleasant experience The staff represented ATand T as, I am sure, it would want to be. If there was a sixth star they would rate that.

UPDATE:We finally got a new phone and our problems were solved! Thank you, Kenny, for going above and beyond. He stayed late to make sure we were fully taken care of and we are so grateful this has finally been straightened out!Before I get into anything, I’d like to thank Jordan and Leo for being kind to us and apologizing profusely for the other employees here being so incredibly rude. After receiving a phone (a week late) that didn’t work, customer service told us to bring it back to the store last night. Anthony was extremely rude, and told us he couldn’t help us at all. After over four hours and countless customer service people, we find ourselves back in this awful store, once again dealing with Anthony. He starts by telling us he couldn’t help us last night because his manager wasn’t there. Would have been nice to know last night that that was the issue. He then goes on to tell us that he has no idea what he had done wrong and we have no reason to be upset. He barely speaks to us, and then goes to the back for 15 minutes. Eventually he comes back with the manager, Stephanie, who says “Hello” to us, and not another word. She whispers to Anthony asking if the other customers waiting are upset. She doesn’t acknowledge us. After being screwed over by not getting a full refund (which went back to my AT&T account and not *me* like I had asked) Anthony didn’t even want to help me order a working phone. He pawned me back off to customer service and walked off. I will be switching carriers immediately. If you have to go to the Hanover AT&T store, make sure Anthony isn’t the one helping you, he was so incredibly rude I was in tears by the end. Not even the manager seemed to care, Jordan was the only one that seemed to want to help and felt badly about how we were being treated.

First off, I would like to say that getting a new phone on my upgrade with AT&T has been a complete nightmare. It has been a 3 week chaotic process that I honestly hope no one goes thru. My daughter left a previous review addressing issues we had previously. Yesterdays experience at the Hanover store was quite the opposite. My new phone was delivered to my place of work, but this time I could make calls and text but I was unable to use the internet. I walked into the Hanover store and was warmly greeted by Kenny. When I explained my situation, he knew exactly who I was and was immediately ready to fix the problem. While it was a lengthy process, Kenny was kind, courteous and made my daughter and I laugh numerous times, considering how frustrated I was with the process. I ended up needing another new phone (my third since this nightmare started) but Kenny assured me he would take care of everything as quick as he could. He stayed late to finish the process of making sure my phone was 100% working in every function and transferring everything that could possibly be transferred. I cant thank Kenny enough for his excellent service! He definitely went above and beyond. Leo, one of Kennys associates, was also in the store. At one point, he came over to ask Kenny a question. He greeted my daughter and I very warmly too and assured us we were in the best hands. I thanked him for being so kind as when customer service called him with my last dead phone, he was fully prepared to take care of us. He actually apologized to me for not being there when we came in (he was on his lunch break) and having to deal with Anthony, who should not have a job as far as Im concerned. He had been so rude and disrespectful when I was in last time. I am a store manager myself and I would have fired him on the spot for talking to customers as he spoke to me.Again, I would like to thank Kenny for taking care of my phone and treating my daughter and I with the dignity and respect every customer deserves. Thank you, Kenny, Leo and Jordan too for all that you do!!

SHADY!I was helped by Anthony the other day to purchased a new iPhone 12. As we were doing the transaction, he stated my bill would go up by X amount of dollars and that I could get an upgrade sooner next time and the phone was insured. Anthony had never asked if I wanted insurance or any other promotions, but fortunately I had done some research online and it sounded like he signed me up for ATT Nextup which was more money monthly in addition to adding insurance. I asked Anthony if he added the Nextup and he was caught off guard and ended up admitting he did. I told him I did not want that or the insurance and he said I would have to purchased the phone online then because he could not do that in store. I thought this was strange but I said fine, I would go home and do it. I must have called his bluff because he was suddenly able to do it.When I got home and checked my emailed receipt, I notice it said ADDED Protect Insurance but there was no price next to it. I then went to my Firstnet account and saw that insurance was added for $15 a month. I called Firstnet and they removed it no questions asked. I do not know if the employees get a commission on the extras or if it goes towards a stores metrics, but it was a shady sales practice nonetheless. Its unfortunate because I have had great experiences with all the other employees I have dealt with over the years at this location. I feel bad for the other people he has done this to that have not caught it.

He was patient stayed with us on our difficult line transfer...he found savings on our bill with lowered our monthly bill more than $80.00 and that’s after adding a new line and a new iPhone :) I can’t say enough about Leo and the service we received there today! The GPS on my phone stopped working as I was trying to drive 6 hours home. I came into this store as a last resort to either have them fix it or get a new phone. I went in with 20 minutes to close and they did everything in their power to help me (which included directing me to the nearest Target in case the phone upgrade wasnt done in time and I needed a cheap GPS). I worked with Peter and he was fast, efficient, pleasant to talk to. Got my new phone up and running very quickly and I was out the door at 5:00 on the dot. Peter went above and beyond and I really appreciate it. Great customer service and Im enjoying the new phone!
