I made the appointment and shopped for tires on their website. I found their prices competitive but they also price match. I had to call and reschedule my appointment (to make sure I got my state inspection and their guy was on vacation), and they were very accommodating. When I got there for my day of service their service manager that day, Nick, was a true professional. He took a great deal of pride in his job, and the mechanics there were just as professional. I was very happy with the service and frequent updates that he provided. I will be returning for more work when needed there, as long as they provide that level of service.

The South Hanover Mavis Discount Tire Shop is the one I not only visited but I also have dealt with. I initially had to order 2 front tires due to no one carrying my 14 inch tire size. The tires were there when they said they would be and Mavis employees had me in and out before another appointment in plenty enough time to keep and make my other appointment without having to rush and at the time they seemed to be understaffed and slammed. They fixed the shimmy I had going on by actually balancing these 2 front tires.I spent $225 for 2 new tires mounted and balanced. They have Wi-fi, Tv to entertain you while waiting and they also have a small area for smaller kids to play in and to keep the kids entertained if you have children. Its Handicapped accessible. Came me a good deal on 4 tires compared to the price I was going to get them at BJS wholesale price. With installation included. Fixing my spare with the price. But we will see when I go back to get my truck

I took my Jeep to Mavis this morning to have a tire patched that had found a long screw. I called ahead and they were polite and quick to get me in when I arrived. I called another place prior to Mavis and the other place told me that it would be until Monday (its Friday) before they could get me in...to patch a tire. Thank you, Mavis for helping me in a pinch and getting me back on the road ASAP!

Best place in this area for being honest. If your car doesnt need the work on it they will not charge you. Or find something that is wrong with it just to get your money. Ronnie the Manger is great and handles his staff with respect.

Brought my Lancer in for a boatload of work, some expected, some not. Nick showed me what would be done and why, and that’s probably the first time I’ve ever had someone thoroughly go in depth as to why the repairs were being made, which I really appreciated. Ronnie greatly assisted as well in explaining the cost of everything and they both did a fantastic job at explaining the process. Both were patient, kind, and answered any questions I had. Ronnie also greatly assisted me during the payment process as we had had some difficulties to work through, and he handled it with ease. Great. To go to fix your Tire problems

Brought vehicle by for a slow tire leak. Left vehicle for 1 hour and returned to find tire allegedly fixed. Informed the valve stem was loose and they fixed the problem. It didnt sound right, but took their word for it. Drive home and noticed a screw embedded in the tire, which was the culprit for the slow leak. They crew at Mavis tire completely missed the screw and instead, just BSd me. The lack of service and professionalism is shocking. AVOID THIS PLACE...!!!

I took my wifes 2009 CRV there for all 4 new tires. The store manager was professional, courteous, and thoughtful. They had me in and out of there in a flash. Great customer care, excellent service, and excellent prices.

Reasonable tire prices. I was looking for a basic tire. Mavis had the best price in the area. I was able to get my car in the same day.Mavis did a complete check of my car. I appreciated this as I had recently bought the car. After inspecting my car, they found my brakes/rotors were in bad shape. Mavis helped me to figure out a way to finance the work, with a payment schedule I could afford!Jesse is very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. He is the counter guy.The Mavis Shop is clean and orderly, the guys working on your car are clean and professional looking.I will definitely be going back when my car needs an oil change and tire rotation.

I stopped by to have one tire plugged that had a nail in it. Mavis had all 4 tires pulled and 4 new tires sitting beside my car. It felt shady. I had to tell the guy in charge to put my tires back on and remind him I only wanted the one tire plugged.

Took my daughters car there to get tires, they are very nice but we took the car to get inspected and whoever did my daughters tires at mavis somehow managed to put the lug buts on backwards.

If you have a VW with factory locking lug nut make sure you show them exactly where your lug key is. Apparently not as obvious as it should be. Besides that good experience.

6/14/2020 So I call Mavis before even showing up telling them that I needed a tire for a Mercedes, they verified they had the tire and I can come in and change them. I arrived everything seemed normal, I walked in told them gentleman that I called earlier about the run flat tires for a Mercedes. He said alright no worries he had them and told me a price. I asked if they had any law enforcement or military discounts in which he replied sure 10% off. I was generally happy about my experience at this point until they brought my car in to be serviced. The gentleman that rang me up came and got me out of my seat and said there might be a problem with my car, I went to go inspect the issue. The lift that they were using would cause damage to the undercarriage of my vehicle if they hoisted it up. So I was asking if there’s anything else they can do like using a regular jack stand or something along those lines and I was told no. I was completely distraught and worried because my tired was down to showing the wire lining on the inside and I had already driven 45 minutes to this particular place because they had the run flat tires I needed. So I asked them if I can just back the car up and take the tires off myself and bring them in to be changed one by one, and at first I was told ok. I asked if they could led me a socket they said no, go to auto zone. While searching through my trunk I found the correct socket and had a jack to remove the tires, at that point I said ok I’m going to back it up and bring the tires in which took me 30 minutes to find the correct tools, at that point I was told no I can’t remove my tires within the parking lot. And I’m now furious because they did nothing to try and help me, first they said I can do it myself in the parking lot than I was told 40 mins later I couldn’t and that I would have to do it else where and bring the tires to them. Everyone’s looking at me like I’m crazy but won’t give me proper service and I’m buying 160 dollars tires. And I don’t want to get all angry like the token black man but I guarantee if I was another nationality they would have gone above and beyond to help me out. So I’m there trying to keep my composure my girlfriend who walked to autozone to try and find me the correct socket to take the tires off comes back and says wel why can’t they call there manager. So the desk clerk calls the manager and tells him what’s going on, as soon as he gets off the phone he says well we can try and put it on the lift we use for wheel alignments and see if that works 45 mins later after. Like oh my freaking god you could have done that to begin with, so they put it on the wheel alignment lift and took my tires off it was so simple but I guess it’s so hard to provide good customer service just like civil rights this had to fought for and I’m so upset rite now I just want to get out of Hanover pa, go home have a couple drinks and try to forget about how they’ve treated me here. I’m leaving a lot out because I want to curse and go in depth about the way I was really treated me here but this is the just. Forget this plac. And I’m the end i here the the front desk clerk take a call from someone about a wheel alignment, and he says sure come on in we can put your rights on the rack but it took a manager to get mine on the rack.... forget this place once again

I took my 2007 Mazda 3 in to get 4 tires put on, the guy at the customer service desk (sorry i forgot ur name) was excellent, price was very affordable, then I realized I needed sway bar links and they actually took the time to show me my sway bar links how bad they were and then they showed me I needed a new cv axle boot, the guy made a phone call got the parts withen 10 min and they got them put on for me thanks guys highly highly recommended!
