Brandon Mills is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Truly luxury living. The facility is one of a kind. The detail of Brandon Mills is impeccable. Victoria and Anna are INCREDIBLE! This was the best place rental I have ever experienced! The transition from Houston to Greenville was made with ease because of the beautiful loft I lived in. Even the shopping center next to the lofts are unique and fulfilling! The apartments are spacious, with fair pricing. Without a doubt West Village lofts at Brandon Mills is the best rental in Greenville, SC. The three years spent here was a joy! -Kellie Thomas

Victoria and Anna are great! Their hands are tied a lot because of Pegasus’s inability to manage.Great complex. Just be prepared for a corporate mentality when it comes to management. After my girlfriend was followed in by a vagrantthat came to our door yelling “where da white woman at” and i had to escort him out with a gun .... It was downplayedit was 5-6 months later and after several break ins that Pegasus corporate finally installed the door handles that were needed/requested in order to promptly close and hold door should someone try to come in that was not suppose to be there.

Horrible company. They stole my reservation payment. They told me they had an apartment available, made me pay for the application fee and reservation fee, and then called one day after the refund was expired and said they didnt have the apartment. They basically stole the money. They also set up an erenter insurance policy for me and didnt tell me and I was being charged for it for months until I caught it. This place has stolen over $600 from me and I never even lived there. Horrible management, horrible manager, and really rude on the phone. They would not admit that they lied to me about having an available apartment. They did not care at all. They did all this during a pandemic. How do you steal from people trying to find a home in this economic environment. Terrible people and terrible company. Ill be posting this review everywhere that I can for them.

West village lofts has been a fantastic place to live. Apartments are very big, airy and good for social distancing. I’ve been a big fan of living here for the last two months or so. The staff is also very friendly and pet friendly.

The following review is in reference to the staff at Brandon Mill,My roommate and I had an issue with our power one afternoon that was out of our control. Victoria sat down with us for 3 hours, on the phone with multiple support staff to sort out the issues. Her willingness to go above and beyond what she needed to do was nothing short of exceptional.

Proceed with caution while deciding on a “Pegasus Residential” owned apartment complex. If customer/client service is a feature that is important to you & your family, stay far away. If a resident has an issue that goes beyond a day to day maintenance issue, your property manager will provide you with the robotic phrase, Its out of my control or I dont make the decisions. Instead of a dissertation, illustrating the litany of issues associated with MY EXPERIENCE I will leave you with this; you will REGRET spending your hard earned money supporting a business where CUSTOMER SERVICE is LAST on the priorities list, where direct & basic communication is absent & their advertisement of Luxury Living fails to find any similarity or parallel with the definition of luxury

Ive recently moved in at West Village Lofts and thus far my experience has been awesome. I have unfortunately needed to be accommodated more times than most in the beginning due to moving circumstances. The management at West Village Lofts was understanding and helpful during this time when I expected that theyd be frustrated and hard to get a long with. Victoria has been with me from the beginning and she truly goes out of her way to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Im very thankful to the whole team for making my move and first month as seamless as possible. I look forward to making memories here.

First, I’d like to say that usually when any company post pictures of their apartments, they make it look way more nicer than what they actually are in person. But the pictures did all of its justice, plus more. This place is SWEET. Second, I made a pretty big mistake come time for move in, which was going to cost me a week in a hotel with two dogs, and all while starting a new job, but Victoria and Anastacia were very nice and went out of their way to make it possible for me to get my keys when I arrived in Greenville.(this isn’t meant to set the precedent that they can do this for everyone) but it just shows they care about their tenants and will do their best to accommodate where they can help. Thank you Victoria and Anastacia!

Really impressed so far. Only negative... Hallways way too dark to see apartment numbers. Could be a safety issue. Other amenities really impressive.

Cool loft space for the price. Unfortunately, I think that’s also why there’s a frat party next door every Saturday evening-12:30a and the pool looks like a beer pong/wet t-shirt contest. We also watch random cars drive through the open back gate and unload at the pool/grills all the time. Management needs to start keeping a better eye out. Amenities are decent. Wouldn’t move/stay here if we had children. Better suited for college students/singles.

Nice place to live. Apartments are very stylish and modern. I love the exposed brick in the units. Noise can be an issue at times... the walls are kind of thin, overall not a major issue. Everyone here owns dogs and there is the cutest dog park on the property. I would recommend to a friend!

This is my third year at the lofts and I used to love living here and recommended it to everyone. Since Pegasus took over it has gone down hill. The office staff’s responsiveness is horrible. No complaints are taken seriously. The dog park has been neglected (large metal poles have been down for 6 months, mulch is never replaced, and dog waste is much more prevalent). Additionally, the construction that residents were not made aware of before signing new leases is ridiculous. No proper actions are being taken such as plastic wrap to keep the units clean on the first floor. Dust is everywhere and they work starting at 7am and in weekends. The noise (including blasting music from the workers) is so loud that you can’t use your apartment or sleep. Doors are always left open and it no longer feels like a safe community. When you call and place complaints they are never addressed. The amenities and the style of the apartment are great, but due to poor management the price for non-maintained building is no longer worth it.

Future RENTER BEWARE! There are plenty of other luxury properties in the Greenville area. Do yourself a favor & resist the unique look of the apartments, the amenities & everything in between. I broke my lease & was happy to pay the penalty to leave The West Village Lofts @ Brandon Mill after a little over a year. Pegasus is the worst. Here are some examples...In an area that is concerning to be polite, doors entering the community are never fixed or replaced. ANYONE can walk right in. MULTIPLE residents have pleaded & implored for a solution. We get eye rolls.Fees appear out of nowhere. There is no communication about why or how? There are stories of mold-rodents- evictions (during the pandemic), increased rent to renew lease during pandemic. There is always something. STAY AWAY from Pegasus.

Weve lived here at West Village Lofts for about a year. Let me see if I can put into words what its like to live here for those that are considering an apartment home at WVL. TLDR: moving here was a good choice for our first year in Greenville.THE BUILDING: I am still in awe with the 19 ceilings and the overall sense of space that you get here. The huge picture windows are fantastic and new, so theyre very functional. If you live on the West side of the building, prepare to be cooked in the afternoon yet see incredible sunsets. THE BLINDS ARE A MUST ON THE WINDOWS! I just love the vibe of this place, which was a textile mill that started construction in 1901.THE APARTMENTS: We live in a Maya which is one of the common 2br units. Living space is well laid-out, and the bedrooms either back up to the adjacent apartment hallway or to the main hallway, which is smart. The floors are CONCRETE which is actually fantastic from a noise and care perspective. The furnishings/appliances are very high quality compared to the typical McApartment units found in town. The exterior door to the unit is heavy and a quality unit. Someone spent some major bucks outfitting these apartments built in 2016.THE AMENITIES: Nice pool. Phenomenal workout space, best in town. Have not used the steam room nor the theater. Really great having Atlas Local shared workspace onsite, very convenient for this work-at-home couple. Also an art center on site, plus a dog park.THE STAFF: Regardless of the other reviews about the Pegasus staff, our experience has been very good. Some of the previous staff were incredibly indifferent and made the process of an out-of-state move a real nightmare, but this is not the case with the current staff. Everyone is very helpful and I dont know how they keep up on a place this big with so few staff.NOISE: We live on the fourth floor, and pay a premium for this. I guess we are able to skip the pleasure of hearing plumbing noises from those above us. In exchange for this, it can get LOUD on the 4th floor from rain on the roof, as well as all of the A/C compressors churning away. Its a 120 year old building and things bounce and move. I guess the trade-off is worth it but dont expect complete silence. Surprisingly, there is very little noise that can be hear side-side between units.SAFETY: The local neighborhood is mill housing that is slowly being taken over by investors. The gates to parking work well. The biggest issue with safety is residents blocking exterior doors open, but I have never felt unsafe here. I dont see people roaming the halls who are not residents. There is a video system which is rigorously monitored for minor things, so this probably helps.MISC STUFF: There is only one internet provider. Internet is provided for your unit, but if youre an at-home worker, you might not find it to be robust enough. You can upgrade, but be prepared to pay for a whole separate charge on top of the $45/mo thats included with your rent payment. Spectrum still cant figure this out so Im paying a combined $110/mo for broadband. Some wars are not worth fighting. Additionally, some residents are complete slobs, not picking up after dogs, dragging a cloud of weed smoke into the elevators, etc. Hint: the grass is not greener.So...its a cool place, its relatively easy to live here, there are lots of dogs which is always a good thing, and it was a great choice for our first year in GVL.

Waiting on my security deposit from our July 5th move out. No one on property or above property will talk to me. If there was a reason WHY I don’t get my security deposit back, gosh, I’d like to have that conversation with someone. Perhaps this will reach someone? You can contact me at all of the info I’ve called and emailed. We were great tenants, this blows. That is A LOT of money to us.

What a disappointing downfall of an apartment building. After living there 3 years, what went from the most beautiful & unique lofts in Greenville quickly took a turn to one of the worst places to live after Pegasus management took over. Tenants no longer are priority nor is maintaining the amenities that are provided to us. There is always something broken that will take weeks to fix, they refused to change our refrigerator water filters because it “wasn’t in the budget”, they take your dogs DNA sample but don’t actually follow through with fining people so there’s pet waste all over the grass, the grills in grilling area are broken, water leaks into the units are common during storms, and forget about referring people to receive a discount on rent because they will do everything in their power to not give you the money after your referral moves in.Dealing with Victoria Wilkinson, the “community manager” is the absolute worst of them all. She’s rude and condescending, both verbally and online. We get weekly unprofessional emails from Victoria that come across as attacks to the tenants, and only add to the issues she’s addressing. She’s had multiple negative encounters with various tenants and quite frankly dealing with her is just a headache. Upon moving out and doing a very thorough cleaning job, she still fined us (after not providing an initial charge sheet to even go off of) and stated that we “could have hired their cleaning staff”. I’ve never had any problems regarding cleaning from past places that expect reasonable wear and tear but just goes to show they will try to nickel-and-dime everything they can not to pay out of their pocket. Look elsewhere since their high rents don’t even make up for any of their cons!

I live here. Love it. Beautiful building, great gym, awesome community room, fenced in dog area, reasonable rent for the size and nice finishes. My power bill is pretty cheap... I guess it depends on how much you use the heat and AC. I do think Ill be using a lot more AC as the temps get hotter. Those windows let in a lot of sun. All of the fire alarm tests are annoying but #FirstWorldProblems I guess.

I am a current resident and unfortunately have had maintenance issues since I moved in back in August -- ceiling leaks, excessive electric bill, broken AC. I understand new properties need time to work out kinks, but not for 3 months. Only a few of the amenities offered are actually completed. Dont fall for the time estimates for completion. Hold off on this property for a few years. Staff is not very responsive when it comes to emails or answering the phones.
