I wouldnt use them if I had a choice. Currently, Im stuck with NineStar because no other services is available to my addition.They have terrible internet. They also, as of July 1, 2021, decided to downgrade anyone with 75MB internet, to 50, or force them to jump up to 150MB.They customer servcie is a joke, their product is clunky and this is what you can expect with them.Go anywhere else for internet if you can. ANYWHERE.I cant wait to have any other option.

Eric, a security technician, came today to replace a sensor. My donkeys got out of an open gate as he was driving down my very long drive. He jumped out of his van and tried to herd them back. Unsuccessful so he went after them and stopped them from getting out on the road. He helped me get them back into their pasture. Eric went above and beyond great customer service.

Update. No one answers tech service phone anymore. Have to do web chat using my cellular service to get their attention. Downgrade from 5 to 4 stars due to repeated problems.Formerly Hancock Rural Telephone, Ninestar Connect for internet/phone is the best Ive ever experienced (25+ years here, and all around the Indy metro area beore). Fiber optic is fast, and you can actually chat/call/email real people that are usually local except I think possibly peak times. Most always responsive.

This company is out of control. They are raising all of our electric bills to pay for all their other ventures. They loose huge money on their cable service, internet and water and sewer so they raise and steal our electric money to support it. All their other business are unprofitable so they use our electric bills as a piggy bank. We need to call for an independent audit to be sure how every penny is being spent. I dont want or need any of their other services but my electric bill goes up every year to cover their losses. By the way they are one of the only electric companies NOT REGULATED now that they became Ninestar.

When we first got the service everything seemed like it’s be good. The guy who came out to install our internet said that we had great internet (the best he had ever seen from any provider) and he was very nice and helpful and for a while everything seemed fine. Then I set up auto pay and I didn’t realize it didn’t come out. They shut off our service and I explain we talked to them and they were supposed to have set up autopsy. They say they don’t have record of us doing that, okay, we will set it up now and go ahead and get the service turned back on. we have to pay not only our monthly bill but to get it turned back on. This happens twice and the. We started paying more attention and it came out some months but others we had to call and pay. Then to top it off we called December 12th to disconnect services because we were moving and switching providers. They didn’t cancel it and charged us for the entire time. We called and told them we called before and disconnected services and they said we didn’t that there was no record of a call disconnecting. I went to my phone records and it proves we DID call them on the day we said we did. We had no choice but to go with them because they were the only provider in the area but if you have choices do not do it!

Terrible service most of the time. Stations go off unexpectedly, and stay off for 20 to 30 minutes!! Also, several stations have been down at time - at least 8 channels at a time!!. Pathetic service and support!!!

Who is above the office manager...in the electrical Department.Ive been playing catch- up on lightbill.I was informed disconnect start Tuesday morning..i ask for extension until Wednesday.( payday).They said no.and youll have to pay $50 more on Wednesday.In the past, you sign extension, make arrangements, failure to keep committment, than lights may be off.These are most trying times...vectran, Hancock sewer,citizens and otherscontinue to kindly work with you..But our Co-opWow..this two shall pass...but...

The monthly fee just to have service is insanely high, my bills run almost double here for less energy usage than my old house with Duke Energy. Stephanie placed me into operation roundup without ever asking me or explaining it to me(and lied about it on the phone). They require a form to be signed(never have I had to do this anywhere else) requiring a lot of personal information and then lost my form, 6 months later they email me with a warning that I would be required to send in said form again or be disconnected in 2 weeks. When I asked why this took so long to get to me that I was being threatened to be disconnected I was ignored. Absolutely horrible customer service. Online pay is a joke. I really miss Duke Energy.

Remarkably unusually good service, which has become DO RARE!! My wife said the same thing to me. Very helpful setting up new office phone system, and also with home tv services.

Ninestar at one time was a good company to work with.The only saving grace this company has are some of the employees you may deal with.The companys deceptive practices, that have recently came to light as to how they make service charge increases, were enough for me to end my business relationship with them . That relationship was 28 years.As I said it isnt the employees you may deal with ,but the upper management that has lost its morals when dealing with a small town community.

Very disappointed in the rate increases of cable/internet. I paid less with Comcast!This is double from the onset. NineStarConnect should have known about the phone land line requirement in the very beginning. This should not be passed on to the customers. Poor, poor business. :(
