The sales person, Jake Smith, is the son of a friend and that is how I found out about Texas Home Improvement. My home is brick and had some damaged wood siding and trim and I was considering replacing the wood with conventional siding. After speaking with Jake, he showed me the many benefits of, instead of putting on new siding, to instead consider replacing the damaged wood and applying their specialized cool coating and paint which is waterproof and will never need repainting or replacing. I also had it applied to the brick as well as the wood. The process was a little expensive, but in the long run I felt it would be a better investment for a home that I have lived in for 40+ years and intend to stay in.The crew that handled the job, lead by Marco (who has many years of experience in this procedure) was wonderful. Marcos work was painstakingly done and I could not have asked for a better team. Several neighbors came by to complement him on his professional work. Installation of windows. Replaced damaged wood, leveled bay window framing, installed windows, added siding and painted. Very professional, detailed, and answered all questions. Yoni was the foreman of the crew that made our 56-year-old home look brand new. What a hard-working, knowledgeable, efficient, amazing crew. The Hardie Board looks beautiful and the Weathered Gray/Alabaster White paint job is lights out incredible. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the work they did. Yoni and his crew care so much about doing excellent work and taking care of the customer. I built my own shutters and stained them because THI only does paint. But Yoni was happy to install them for me and they look amazing. They even installed a new second-story light fixture over the driveway for me so I wouldn’t have to get up there on a ladder. They are truly a five-star crew! If you are lucky enough to get a crew like this, treat them right. They are worth it!Ryan Kelly was the representative that first came out to the house and it was in the midst of COVID quarantine. He was extremely respectful of our space and was willing to be flexible and go the extra mile to do business with us. Very professional. They took time to explain everything so I understood, and checked in with me several times throughout the process. The work went quickly, and was very well done.My only complaint is that the crew didnt clean up the yard/deck particularly well after the job was done. Even so, highly recommend.

They told me so many lies I was very uncomfortable letting them do any work for me. I did see some of the products they promote and they appear to be of good quality. I ask them many to give me a plan of the project and it was never produced I ask them many times to go see a project in progress they never called me until I called the bank and cancelled the loan.

The installers were very good at what they do. They cleaned everything when they were through. In general they kept the workplace well organized. I am impressed by the warranty (life time) The supervisor was honest. I was impressed by him also.

I had my whole house redone, hardi plank, roof, screened porch and windows and couldnt have been happier with the work done. The crew for each job was extremely nice and the best of all, they were very clean and neat. After every job I didnt even know they had been there they had cleaned up everything so well. We were not shopping. They had the business, but they talked (and talked and talked) themselves out of it. They came and looked at our walls and in the attic. They never went up on the roof. Then they proceeded to give us a sales talk about how great they were. Tom went on and on bragging about Texas Home Improvement. We needed a few leaks patched, but he pitched us on a huge dumpster, 5 project managers, supervisors, and account representatives. It felt like a timeshare presentation. I made clear my impatience with his bragging, but he kept on. I finally told him to stop. I asked questions, they did not answer them and went back to the canned sales pitch none of which was related to our house, but it was clearly going to be expensive to support their very large organization. I repeatedly asked what work needed to be done here, I never got an answer or even an idea of when I would get an answer. I finally had to tell them to leave. I dont know how good their work is, but they know how to brag.

I am very pleased with the work that Texas Home Improvement did to my home. The total time from start to finish was three and a half days. They were even able to move me up on the schedule from the end of the month to mid month. The guys came in power washed the house, covered the windows, patio and other equipment with plastic and paper one day, primed the house the second day, painted the house the third day, cleaned up the yard and asked me to inspect the last half day, then and only then did I make the payment. I was skeptical about the higher than normal cost, but I think it was well worth it. Everyone who sees the home is very impressed with the look of my home, even though I got the exact color. The workers were very courteous and respectable. I am thoroughly impressed with Yureal the project foreman. Thank you sooooo much Texas Home Improvement.

The whole experience working with THI was very satisfying. From the first person we spoke with, to the last were very personable and friendly. The professionalism was first rate, and the crew that actually worked on the house were hardworking and friendly. I was sorry to see them go.

The sales representative refused to give me an estimate because I couldnt schedule a meeting where both my wife and I would be present. He also informed me that he couldnt give me a quote for two services because he needed to know which one we could commit to now to do that. He told me that if he quoted me for both a patio cover and exterior paint, it would be too complicated and I would get details of each service mixed up and I would be confused.My initial meeting was scheduled in advance and I received a call the day before confirming the time. The sales rep showed up at my home at TWO HOURS before the appointment time and before I was home. Initially my wife tried to meet with him to get an estimate even though he had showed up far outside the scheduled time. He refused to discuss the projects with her unless I was present and insisted that we reschedule.When I met with him and told him that my wife would not be present, he told me he wouldnt discuss the projects without her present and tried to reschedule. I told him that wouldnt be possible and I wanted to continue with our appointment, he told me to have a nice day and headed for the door of my home.Terrible, insulting, appalling, incompetent, and patronizing. Ive worked with many different companies to get bids and spend good money. Ive never had an honest and upstanding company handle the sales process in this shady, ignorant, and inexperienced way. Pick an honest, straightforward company and stay far away from this one.

Called me to say my husband or I (he knew both our full names) had contacted them about exterior paint, but it was a long time ago so we probably don’t remember. We most definitely did not, and there’s others online saying they said the same exact thing to them. I can’t stand scummy companies who get your info online or buy it off people to call you and waste your time. If we ever need exterior paint, I’ll make sure NOT to use Texas Home Improvement.

The overall process was done very well. The workers did what we were told they would do. We also contracted (separate contract) to have the deck of our Gazebo covered in a textured paint that would match the trim paint on the house,. We paid for it in ADVANCE, which was a mistake. From contract to finished job was over 5 weeks; the crew boss has never come by for us to sign off on the finished job; and, it is NOT finished! There is over spray on two of the 4 vertical supports. I have been told someone from the crew will come out and fix it. As of today (5/22) it has not been remedied. I also have found an area that WAS NOT COMPLETELY COVERED IN THE ORIGINAL PAINTING OF THE HOUSE ; but THAT will not be fixed either. Feel like we wasted $9600.00.

I moved here in 2016, bought a home, and wanted to make it maintenance free, so I have no worries down the road. My home is mostly brick, but all areas that were not brick, I wanted painted. I researched it and it had great reviews.THI is the only one in TX that has that product, I knew I wanted it, so I called and hired them to paint my home. I knew it would cost more than a regular paint job, but I was looking at long term, maintenance free. Once the project was started, I had a great crew that came and finished within days and had my home and yard looking fantastic when they finished. Id picked 4 different colors, they provided, and did a great job applying those colors to the areas I wanted, without mixing them.Im very happy with my colors, coolwall coating, and very happy with the job Yoni, his crew, and THI provided.
