I called an hour before going to see if there was availability.. They welcomed me gladly even though it was memorial day weekend and they were quite busy. They made no fuss over my indecisiveness and extra requests. Michelle was very speedy and did phenomenal work, not to mention impeccable design work to really make my nails pop. Thank you Michelle, I will seek you out next time Im there :)

Savvy Nails is the best! They are always happy to see you and friendly. Ive had Julie do my nails for years, and there is no one better! Make an appointment if you can, they are busy- but that is because everyone wants to go there! Highly recommend!

I had the owner do my pedicure, and I never get an owner. So I thought this wouldve been the best pedicure Id ever gotten. Um, wrong. It was the laziest pedi use Id ever gotten. I selected a $50 pedicure, had gel already on my toes. So tell me how a $50 pedicure goes to $72? I asked, she fumbled her answer and tried to tell me that removing gel polish was a $20 service on top of the $50 pedicure..? Not only that. But she barely even paid attention to what she was doing, my whole pedicure?! Talking to other employees, and was not multitasking. So I was there 30 min longer than I shouldve been. When she went to do my cuticles, all she did was LITERALLY touch each of my toes, did not do anything to my cuticle. The whole pedicure ure was like that. Not paying attention when she was putting lotion on me, and I had to tell her to stop bc she was rubbing one spot on my leg raw. Do not go here, this is the 3rd time Ive given them a shot, and every time the experience is terrible. Every time.

Called on a Friday, made an appointment for the following Monday. When I arrived and gave her my name, she said she didn’t have me down for an appointment. She didn’t try to accommodate me or offer me another slot later in the day or another day. She just shrugged and went back to her client.

The lady who maybe the owner but definitely runs the salon is so incredibly unkind to clients. My technician who worked on my nails did an adequate job and was kind. As this was my first visit, it was very depressing to watch how she treated people. One lady who was prompt and on time for her appointment was told... we don’t have time for you, you need to reschedule...from then on... customers were treated rudely...it just never seem to stop. I love Entrepreneurs, mom and pops... butBad energy.

I got these done 3 days ago...yes 3 days. They arent even down to my cuticle! The man was pretty rude and didnt say much at all. Their gel colors are VERY limited and mine have so many bubbles in them. I wanted two different colors and it was a really big deal. I have heard so many bad things about this place, but decided to take a chance. Worst $55 Ive ever spent. I will not be going back here and would highly recommend looking somewhere else!

I wish we had the option of not choosing any stars. I called ahead and made a reservation for a group of 4. I asked what it cost for a fill. I was told 30 dollars. We get there and my kids asked if they could get designs, I was told this would be 5 dollars more. I go to pay and get told my total, and Im sure my jaw dropped. They charged me 50 apiece for the fills (my whole set was only 50)..when I asked, and even pointed at the board I was then told the girls were charged the 5 extra for designs, one actually charged 10 extra and then extra for gep nails..my kids did not choose a gel polish..they used it and then I had to pay the price. This was not advertised anywhere. If this were an option, when I called in I should have been told both prices..my nails did not turn out..you can see mistakes in it, the mam was rough and made several of my fingers bleed. I was supposed to have a design, but the guy doing my set was unable to draw a simple flower. So I didnt even get what I asked for, and would have actually chosen a different color had I known he couldnt do his job. They were rude to my children and my neighbor. Oh and did I mention, they are giving each customer their own emory board and foam thing..or so they make you think, however since I was questioning my total they then informed me that they were charging a dollar a bag for them. I will now have to make an appointment to have my nails fixed. Hope my review helps others before making a decision to give these people your money.

I gave this one star because giving no stars is not possible. To start off I was treated very poorly and came into this nail salon after a long hard day to get my nails done and as soon as I walked in, no one acknowledged me and I waited there trying to get people’s attention for an appointment and finally I got a woman’s attention and told her what I wanted and asked her how long the wait was and she said “for you?” and then looked me up and down and then said that for me the wait would be 45 minutes. I am deeply upset with the service here and will not ever be returning and everyone in my family now knows to stay away from this place.

I just moved to the Valley in April and this is the second nail salon I’ve visited. I’m happy to say I have found my regular spot! David was so meticulous and lovely, and I can’t say I’ve ever had a better gel mani and pedi! Thank you, David!

Ive given this nail salon a chance multiple times over the years. I kept telling myself that every other visit that I had that was a bad experience was just because it was a bad day. That doesnt seem to be the case . I called and scheduled an appointment for a full set. I arrived on time and I waited for another 45 minutes. Which, i had no problem waiting. My issue is Julie the owner, the one i made an appointment with, REFUSED to give me a full set. I came in with an old set I had on. About 4 weeks. She looked at them and said Those are brand new. Let me do a fill. I told her they were in fact not new and that I needed a new set. I chose a beautiful sparkle acrylic and asked for an hombre nail. She said she only does hombre basic with the pink and white. When I sat down and she asked me why I didnt like my set, I told her it was because of the inconsistency in the shape of each nail. I had almond shape and wanted a full set so I could achieve the coffin nail shape. She said she could reshape them. She did NOT want to give me a set. Saying It takes too long. & It costs too much. I was neither worried about the time or the amount of money. I just wanted my nails to look pretty for my birthday. I left with terribly shaped almond nails because she said she would fix the shape. She only did a fill and I was forced to choose a gel color.My birthday nails were mediocre at best and every single nail is shaped different.

The staff there are very helpful. It does get pretty busy but they are very kind to accommodate as best they can. Prices are fair and affordable.Always best to book and appointment because they are usually very busy.

Super impressed by this place. I cant recall the girls name, but she was extremely friendly and fast. She was very gentle on my hands, which is huge for me because Im not terribly fond of having my nails poked and prodded. Many nail techs just yank hangnails out or are just super rough. I requested very natural looking artificial nails and got exactly what I asked for. It felt very relaxing and didnt have that typical nail salon smell. Made me wanna go back for a pedicure.Will definitely be back!

The lady with the headset started yelling at me saying that the next appointment had made her appointment far in advance. I asked her to please not yell at me. She kept yelling like I couldn’t understand what she was explaining. I ended up getting out of there and do no plan to go back ever again.

I won’t be going here again. I had a positive experience the last time I went a few years ago, but this time was awful. I wanted gel nails, and mind you I don’t go but once a year. The guy I had immediately clipped all of my natural nails off and then started putting acrylics on. I kept my mouth shut and let him continue because I figured he knew what he was doing and didn’t want to cause a scene. I look over at the other gal and the guy is pushing back cuticles, soaking her hand and giving her a gel manicure! I asked what am I receiving and he said gel with acrylics. I said that’s not what I asked for when I made the appointment. Since I wasn’t clear enough with them when I said I wanted a set of gel nails they just went ahead and started doing whatever they wanted. He apologized for the miscommunication, and I still tipped him because he was nice about it.However the manager or whomever the lady is wearing the headset made the comment as I was paying saying “Next time ask for this, and if you don’t want that ask for this” in front of the whole salon. Thanks guys, not only did I not get what I asked for but you also made me feel really stupid in front of a lot of people.

Worst Mani and Pedi I’ve ever gotten in my life! I get these services done monthly at my local spa but was traveling in CO and decided to give Savvy Nails a try. Most unfriendly technician. (She may have even been the owner or manager). Rushing through the process, at times hurting my nails cuz she didn’t care where she was filing, my skin or my nails.The polish application on my feet looked so so. My dip/powder looked and felt horrible.😱Only positive I will say is that precaution measures do to CoVid were in place. Plexiglas glass around ever Station, store appeared to be clean and only 3 customers at a time and we were nicely spaced out.Savvy nails if you want to stay in business you better shape up!!!!!

Been coming here for almost 5 years and won’t go anywhere else. As a customer you have to say what you want. If you assume that at one location the same thing is going to happen at another, that will create problems for all. Be clear, direct and you will never have a bad experience.I love the people and the location and the store as it’s beautiful too. 💋!

Amazing. It is so worth it. I always show technician which nails I love from Pinterest and she 100% makes them a reality. Great pricing too for a gel manicure that has lasted over 3 weeks now without lifting.Great eyebrow waxing as well. They really listen to you and work with you to get the shape you want. Its a very quaint little place run by two very sweet ladies! Because there arent as many workers, they definitely pay attention to you much more, and there is no switching around! From past experiences, Ive learned that smaller businesses actually treat customers better because of how they have to build and maintain their clientele.Your visit starts off with a small tray of goodies 🙂 I came in for a regular manicure and was super pleased with my results.Ill definitely be coming back in the future! Cant beat the customer service and quality here.

I have to gush for a minute... Earlier today, I went and got my nails done at Spa of the Rockies for a plain shellac polish manicure. An hour later and $54.00 later, I left only to realize they were completely messed up. They left gaps and chips and bubbles. I walked into Savvy Nails and they got me in an hour later. They did the full removal of shellac, redid my cuticles and even did a gel nail art design for me for my soon to be baby boys arrival. They were even appalled by the work done. They took their time and they were so sweet and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Savvy Nails to anyone and EVERYONE. Thank you so much for making my day 100 times better, and making me feel welcome.

All dads should go for pedicures with their wives and daughters! I called ahead to make an appointment for three and the owners met me at the door by name. Everyone was very friendly, and sure some translations needed to be made a few times, but that was not a problem. All three nail techs ware careful and thorough, and the owners have a great sense of humor. This is a family owned, efficient nail salon, staffed by hard working people. If you are looking for a day spa, go back to Aspen.

They were able to get 2 pedicures in right away and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The manager or owner was assisting each tech by helping pick up used tools and keep the stations clean. They also offered to do a flower design for my littler sister at no charge without me having to ask. They also sent us home with a nail file and foot scrubber.. Overall positive experience and I will come back again :)

I called for a manicure and told them I wanted dip polish. Half way through, I realized she didnt cut my cuticles or soak my nails. I asked why and she said, oh, we never do that with dip. She told me the manicure was not included and Id have to pay more for that. She was very rough, causing my finger to bleed at one point. She rushed through the whole thing and parts of my nails arent even covered. I am really bummed about the service I received as this was a special treat for me on our mini-vacation. When she was finished, I was told I owed $46+. I have never paid that much for this type of service before, especially without a manicure included.

I’ve been a regular customer for well over a year. All of the nail techs that I’ve had do pedicures are top- notch. However, after today’s interaction with the lady who makes the appointments, I’m now sitting in a chair getting a pedi over at Glenwood Spa. The Savvy lady wasn’t too savvy when she told me I had made an appointment for 1:30, when I arrived for my 1:00 appointment. She would not back down from her position so basically implied that I was the one who was mistaken about my appointment time. I walked out. Savvy nails does good work and if you don’t mind being treated like a doormat, then by all means, go there.

The manager who provided me services was rude and totally preoccupied with answering the phone. I think she needs glasses. Both pedicure and manicure were the worst I’ve ever had. The salon is filthy and mismanaged. It was packed with customers and others waiting because it’s the only gig in town. Too bad. Someone has a big business opportunity to open a decent nail salon in Glenwood Springs!

We are visiting from out of town and my daughters and I wanted to get our nails done. They were rude from the time we walked into the door. They just said,What do you want? With an attitude. My mother owned a beauty and nail shop until she retired and customer service was always top quality. I understand if youre busy. I couldve even made an appointment for the next day if they wouldve greeted us in a better manner. But they definitely wont have our business and I hope this review for warns other people to avoid such rude customer service. I DO NOT recommend this nail shop to anyone.

I had a horrendous week and thought Id relax and get a gel manicure. It was the worst experience I could have had. The gentleman just waved me over and told me to sit down. He opened the bottle of the color I had chosen found out it was empty and then shoved the other colors in my face and told me to pick one. Then he prepped my nails for a gel, leaving a lot of dust on my fingers and my nails. He put the Polish right on top of all that dust and theres smears bubbles, and areas where it didnt take very correctly. while other people were having their hands massage with lotions he told me I was done, charged me $102, I had a manicure and a pedicure. I went directly to my regular salon and had them redo my nails. I will never return to this place ever again.

Came in for the removal of the gel on my nails. They did not soak my nails prior to removal, only sanded them down with an electric sander and they did not remove all of the gel. Now my nails are ruined for months. Seemed in a hurry. V sad - definitely wont return.

Only here once for a pedicure - painful - she was not gentle and tried to do too much or too aggressively. The polish has not held up well either. I think she was trying to do a thorough job but needs to be attentive & focused on customer comfort level. She either was clueless or was unconcerned about that. They have massage chairs which are decent - that may be the best aspect. Wish I could say it was a better experience but I will not be returning. Can only rate on experience with the technician that day - might have given 1 star - gave 2 stars because of overall effort and possibility of other better technicians also working there.

Ive tried various nail salons in the Glenwood Spring and this one is now my favorite! I dont get anything fancy done, just the basic mani/pedi and have been happy enough at the other nail establishments I visited, but Savvy Nails was different. No awkwardness, I felt welcomed and unhurried. There was pleasant banter amongst the manicurists and the patrons.The atmosphere was upbeat and I quite enjoyed the massage chairs too. I shall be back.

Not prompt with appointments. I scheduled an appointment and showed up on time and they wrote down the time wrong. It threw off my whole day and wasted my time. My suggestion is to begin scheduling appointments online because I have had several other issues with their scheduling.

Went it for a simple acrylic fill. The guy who did my nails was so harsh with the file he left me with bleeding cuts around the cuticle lines. His coats of gel polish were so thick it formed wrinkles on the surface as well as big uneven lumps! When I pointed out the rippling on the polish he blamed me for not keeping my hand under the light (all I did was follow his instructions). He said some topcoat would fix the rippling but in reality it barely masked it. Too lazy to fix his own poor job. I left $60 dollars poorer and very frustrated. Will NEVER come back.

This place used to be great but its really gone down hill. The last time I went in there I had made an appointment to get a pedicure and dip nails before my wedding. Julie (the owner) worked on my nails but it was such a busy day that she spent THE ENTIRE TIME answering phone calls and talking to people as they walked in, which resulted in the worst pedicure Ive had and really sloppily done dip nails. She didnt even take time to clean the mess under my nails after the dip and I had to go back later that day and have David clean them up for me. Recently theyve been too busy to do a good job, and most of the staff is very rude and unpleasant to work with. I cant recommend this place any longer!

The manager was nice, but the guy that did my rebase was very grumpy and rude, and made me feel uncomfortable, at one point rolled his eyes at me!?! He seemed like he hated his job. I get my nails done twice a month in Grand Junction, Im moving here and was looking for a good nail salon, will not be this one for sure!!!! Horrible customer service, not friendly and all!!! Good customer service makes a huge difference.

Nails look good but the service of appointment setting isnt good. I made an appointment ahead of time, for myself and my daughters so we could all do it together. I waited 1/2 hour for a pedicure for me and my daughters waited almost an hour for manicures. Not a good experience. This has happened every time I make an appointment. Isnt worth making an appointment there, you wait anyway. We have schedules too.

After and exhausting 5 months of being on the go I came here to relax the girl next to me got the tip top treatment on the other hand the lady that did mine was made it less than relaxing she rubbed my legs and feet just enough to get the lotion on Im so disappointed I really was hoping to leave here relaxed. :(

The worst service ever, they charge too much for something basic and would not put rhino stones on my nails and on top of that they took 2.5 hours just to do My nails. They don’t interact with you, I did not feel welcome whatsoever, and they hurt your fingers too.

Was in town for a short vacation and needed to get my nails done. I came in for shellac mani and pedi. Cant remember technicianss name but she did an amazing job. Very detailed cuticle clean-up (and Im very particular about my cuticles) and great polish application. Highly recommend.

I read some of the reviews , they were mostly negative however I read a tip about . I decided to give this salon a shot . I called on Monday , and scheduled an appointment for a regular pedicure with at 2:15pm .I got to the salon at 2:13pm and took me to one of the pedicure stations right away . She did everything perfectly ! I was in pain for like 2 seconds , because she said I had an ingrown nail . I allowed her to remove it . During the cuticle cutting , she did not once made any cuts or caused me to bleed . For the polishing , she did an awesome job ! I would come back for pedicures .

I took my wife and daughter here to get nails done while in town. It was a terrible experience given the language barrier and it wasn’t clear if they understood the goal after being displayed pictures and descriptions of the goal. There was conflicting statements of whether they could or could not do it by multiple technicians. We therefore decided to walk out and go do a different nail shop.

This place is great!!! I went there today with my son. It was his first time & he loved it!! He got all but the polish & was so happy. He keeps talking about how relaxing it is & how he cant wait to go back. The second he got home it was shoes off and he keeps taking about how good his feet feel. Told his grandma all about it too. ❤️I also got a mani pedi. I dont go often any more, but it used to be a regular thing for me to get my nails done. These people are professionals, period. I got a French manicure with shellac polish & a koral color in regular polish on my toes. They look excellent & I think this is the best place in the valley. Its quality work, dont think twice about going to Savvy Nails. Theyre really really good!!!!!!!

Took my wife there and she set an appointment and they made her wait for more than 30 minutes after the time she had set. Just received the walk ins and took her place. We just left after the 30 min wait.
