We moved to Gilbert just over a decade ago and tried 4 different dentist offices, including 2 in the same plaza. BY FAR, San Tan Smiles is the best! Dr Davis and all the staff are knowledgeable, consistent and kind. We’ve been going here since 2016 and recently moved to Mesa but still continue to drive here because they are so amazing.One example is that another dentist kept recommending treatments I didn’t think were necessary. When coming to Dr Davis, he is thoughtful and conservative about his recommendations. He goes through treatment plans and reviews all the options. San Tan Smiles has an amazing practice and you should definitely check them out!

I have been to this dental office twice now and have nothing but great things to say about all of the staff here! I needed some assistance with scheduling and the front office staff made sure to schedule me as soon as possible while still providing me with earlier appointments as they opened up throughout the week. When I came in for my appointment I was in a bit of a time crunch and the dental assistant and Dr. Davis made sure to get me out of the office as quickly as possible while still providing great care.

Best dentist office I have ever been a patient of. The Dentists do quality work. All of the Hygienists have been good, but Brittany is excellent! I Actually enjoy going to the dentist; which is hard to imagine, I know.

The staff is very warm and friendly. They are gentle and thorough and treat you as a person not just a patient. I have a child with ADHD and sensory issues and dental visits used to be a nightmare. They were so great with her and understanding of her struggles and in doing so alleviated her anxiety. She now has zero issues going to the dentist and is completely compliant and cooperative. Highly recommend and completely trust their care.

I am SO grateful San Tan Smiles was able to squeeze my son in!! He had been up alllll night with with the most painful toothache and his pediatric Dentist wasn’t able to fit him into their schedule today. A phone call to San Tan Smiles later, my son was given a same-morning appointment where a double pulpectomy had to be performed. They were so friendly and gentle with him and he left feeling so much better! I’m more than terrified of going to the dentist. It’s a major phobia. I have gone to children’s dentists because I’m so terrified. I have to have someone with me or I won’t go. At one point I didn’t see a dentist from age 22 until 38! But, I was relaxed after awhile and am going back on Thursday. Very kind people from the reception all the way through the entire office. Yes, I am still anxious, but I stopped shaking. So that is great!

Their front staff, office manager (Larisa) and multiple dental assistants (because I have been in multiple times) have gone above and beyond in helping me be comfortable, feel safe and secure, treating my pain, and fixing my smile. Dr Davis is state-of-the Art and has the bed-side manner of a saint! Even when insurance was causing me grief, the staff went the extra mile—-(really went into another zip code) to help me maximize my benefit and assist me in helping me get confidence in smile again. We took our 4 year old to Dr Davis when he had a bad tooth. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind, they eased all of our worries. My son ended up needing a procedure which required general anesthesia and everything went so smoothly. Dr Davis and his team, along with the anesthesiologist, Dr Tompkinson are highly recommended and my entire family will now be going here for our dental needs.

I went to this dentist because it is very conveniently located as well as a recommendation. I will say that I went to another well known dentist in the Gilbert area and had extensive dental work done. Two porcelain veneers, deep cleaning, and an implant. This process with the other dentist took over a year to get complete. I had paid everything in full. After completion of all my dental work I had been in their office 3 times after. On the 3rd visit after all the work was completed I was told in front of other patients that I had a balance of $700.00 and that I needed to pay it or be sent to collections. I was absolutely blind sided and had no idea nor was I ever communicated any of this information. I sat in the lobby in tears from embarrassment. Their explanation to me was they had staff changes and this should have been relayed to me a YEAR AGO!!!! Fast forward 2 years later because I was absolutely disgusted with dentist period!!! I came across this amazing office SAN TAN SMILES!!!! They are upfront with cost out the gate. They give you worst case on pricing so that you are expecting that from the beginning. They do not suggest any procedures that you do not need or want. I never have to sit and wait for longer than 5 minutes for my scheduled appointment. Dr. Davis is very thorough and gentle. His staff is TOP NOTCH!!! I can say that I actually look forward going to the Dentist now. Thank You San Tan Smiles for making my frown turn upside down!!!

Im fuming mad right now; appalled and utterly sickened by the phone call I JUST RECEIVED from Larisa at Dr.Daviss office! At 4pm, May 21, 2019 THE DAY BEFORE my scheduled 3 hour sinus lift procedure, she called to tell me that Dr. Davis had cancelled the procedure, and furthermore, had changed his mind about doing the SINUS LIFT at all?! Keep in mind HIS office personnel had called me 6 days before the scheduled surgery and asked me for a $1000 deposit for the procedure?! WHY? In addition, I had also received a call the day before from the Anesthesiologist asking if I had any questions about the sedation, ending the phone call by telling me hed see me the NEXT MORNING at 8am. Apparently too was just as clueless as I was! He was never told the sinus lift had been cancelled either!?! Truthfully, I am appalled that Dr. Davis didnt CALL ME --or at least have someone call me PERSONALLY to cancel the appointment long before the scheduled surgery. Instead, he allowed me to get mentally prepared for a 3 hour SINUS LIFT. My husband had planned a vacation the same week that we had to cancel for my surgery appointment, only to have HIS OFFICE PERSONNEL cancel the procedure the DAY BEFORE?!?! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AND IM MAD AS HELL! I PUT MY LIFE ON HOLD FOR THIS APPOINTMENT, NOT TO MENTION THE EMOTIONAL DISTRESS INVOLVED IN GEARING UP FOR A 3 HOUR SURGERY! Larisa told me she would take personal responsibility for the cancellation? The words, Im sorry dont even BEGIN to cover the stress and utter turmoil Im feeling right now!

I just had the best dental experience of my adult life and Im 58 years old! The hygienist was extremely thorough, competent, explanatory, skilled and nice! The dentist, Dr. Zachary was superb! He introduced himself by his first name, illustrating his genuine humility. He didnt do as most other dentists do by trying me to get me to do various could do, but not have to do procedures. I appreciated his straight forward, non up-selling, approach. He sent me on my way without any recommendations for anything but my cleaning. His honorable dentistry is refreshing and I would highly recommend his dental services!

Definitely the place to go for an extraction. They offer their own dental plan which is helpful of your insurance doesnt offer dental. They dentist is cool, he makes you feel comfortable and is funny. He also was fast and precise with the extraction. Definitely bringing the family here.

Dr. Davis and his staff are wonderful, warm and welcoming! I was returning to work after a year of disability, and wanted very much to get a four on one denture so I could return with an open smile. Dr. Davis worked hard to make that happen for me, and made it as painless and non-frightening as possible. Now I get so many compliments about my teeth and how natural the denture looks (those that know it is a denture!). I highly recommend Dr. Davis and the whole office.

I always hated going to the dentist so much so that I hadnt been in 10 years. I was very nervous and embarrassed because I had neglected my teeth for so long. I am so glad that I chose San Tan Smiles because Dr. Davis made me feel very comfortable as well as hopeful that I could get the health of my teeth back on track. He always make sure that I am numb and dont feel any pain or discomfort. I never have to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room. Everyone in the office is very friendly and genuinely cares about the health of my teeth and not just about money. I also like that there is a TV on the ceiling above the chair so I have something to watch and can be distracted. Hes great with my 7yr old daughter as well, she loves going to the dentist because everybody is so nice and do a great job at making you feel comfortable and cared about. If you are afraid of the dentist or have been putting it off because you feel embarrassed San Tan Smiles is the perfect place to go! You will not be disappointed.

I have been so happy with this place. We have gone to other dentists and they have tried to ripped us off. One dentist told me that my 8 year old needed 4 crowns and that her teeth were totally messed up. I was shocked because we had just moved to AZ six months before that and her other dentist never said anything about these problems. How could her teeth deteriorate that much in 6 months. We found San Tan Smiles through a friend and we have been so pleased. Dr. Jones was able to fix my daughters teeth without any type of sedation with this awesome drill he has. Plus, it was under $200 unlike the thousands of dollars that the other dentist wanted to charge me. Most of the cavities my kids have had have been easy to fix with their equipment. No shots, no gas, no pain. It is wonderful! I totally recommend this dentist to anyone!

I dont need a lot of dental work except for cleanings, and the dental hygienist (Brittany) always does a phenomenal job. She is awesome, and Dr. Davis is always pleasant as well. I just got done with a non-cleaning visit and the experience was just as seamless as a normal cleaning. Would I recommend them? Absolutely!!!
