Start with the bad, end with the good. I had originally made an appointment for 6PM but had plans changed and called in to see if I could come in at 4PM instead. They told me 430PM and I said okay. The design I wanted to do needed a specific nail tech, so the additional wait time would be 30 min, as stated when I asked, which was fine. I had to wait an hour before I was seen. If they were this busy, I would have happily just come in at the previous 6PM time, which I did say I could do, and done something else with my time. Next, I was asked if I wanted acrylics or to do it on my own nails at least three times before and when I arrived to my appointment, but somehow it wasnt communicated to the nail tech and I misunderstood my nail tech when they asked me if I wanted it short with tip (I dont do my nails often enough to understand the situation until after). Ended up getting the tips since the nails were already cut. Just dont understand why ask me three times before what I want and then not have that communicated to the nail tech working on my nails. Just a simple misunderstanding, but could have been avoided. Now the nails themselves are BEAUTIFUL. They really spend the time to take care of the nails and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The nail tech also gave me suggestions on which color to choose, which was helpful. Despite the beginning bumps, overall the experience was not wasted. The quality of the nails and the nail techs experience definitely displays. I will be coming back to here or any other Herbal Nails & Spa location.

I went there yesterday (Saturday) and got gel on my toe nails and a full set of acrylics and gel on my finger nails. Both techs were rushed and did a shoddy job. My fingernails were not painted until both edges and there are visible gaps. My toe nails have chipped already and its been 24 hours. I have not done anything to warrant the gel chipping. I paid $100 before tip and feel like the quality should have been higher for the price that is paid.

The price seem to be about the same as surrounding areas from what I can tell but higher quality work . The person doing my pedicure was super detailed and kind. We were celebrating a friends birthday and were offered wine ect. while we were getting our nails done. We will go back!

Cleanliness- 6/10 the desk was dusty when i came in and it wasn’t busy so i expected a little more cleanly. My nail lady was Cindy and it seemed like she knew very little. The design i wanted was fairly simple but not well done out. I wanted ombré and got something just shy of that, really blunt where the colors where supposed to meet and fade. She was super nice which made it not really a big deal. Shape was 6/10 considering coffin but the edges were rounded. Overall very nice people just wish they had more training / practice . I probably wouldn’t recommend.

The only place I go. I have had every tech there and all of them are great! My daughter has even gone with me a few times. They never rush me out and always do anything and everything that I ask 🥰

I stopped coming here because I started getting bad service and the nail tech were slippin on their game. But in a pinch for time as its next door to me, I decided to try again.. its been like a year or so, so I was hoping they got better. Nope. They did terrible and refused to take it off.The white dots arent raised in the sample and theres a base color of some sort. They should have made this right.

I came here a couple of times and had great service and nails. They were close to my place so that was a plus. Though I came in today and ended up having crooked, and uneven length for the nails. I even had to call out a bubble that I saw drooping on the side for it to be fixed but it was still visible once she had tried to fix it. There was also sections that were bumpy/uneven & she had gone over it with her finger but didn’t try to fix it. I’ll admit, I should’ve said something in the middle. Though, I was already feeling bad since she was saying “I’ll smooth it over after” over and over so I was afraid to interrupt. The nails were poorly done no matter how you would look at it because one of the nails were two different heights. I ended up spending even more money at another nail salon to fix my nails and they took 2 hrs to do so. If you are planning to come here (the location is still super clean, with a nice staff and usually high quality services) just be sure to look at their previous works to make sure you know what you’re paying for to be safe.Clarification: The last few times I had nails done it was with another technician and she did really well. This was my first time with the technician that took care of me. My past experiences were pleasant so this time it took me by surprise.

We love Hebal nails in Mesa everyone is super friendly, location is pretty and clean. Christina did my nails and I love her she is a perfectionist which I think is a must when you do nails! I will definitely return!! Excellent service! Steve did my mother in law nails and he was awesome too and the other lady that her hands, she was super happy. Today was my first time at this nail salon and let me tell you I couldnt be happier!! Tina did my nails today and she did a beautiful job The shape is exactly what I wanted no lumpy bumpies here lol. She was so sweet too. I will definitely be returning here again soon. I always been scared of going to get a pedicure but Alva was super gentle and sweet! The place is nice and clean with a relaxing feeling . Fist thing they ask you is to wash your hands. Anthony upfront was pretty nice to! Ill be coming back for sure.

UPDATE 1 YEAR+ LATER: I continue to get great service at this immaculate nail salon. All technicians are equally good.This was my first visit to this salon for a gel manicure. I was blown away by how immaculate this salon is, compared to other salons Ive been to. They require you to put on a mask, then wash your hands, seat you far apart, and also have a plexiglass barrier between you and the technician. My daughter and I scheduled appointments together. I was a little confused about who was doing my nails since it turned out 3 different technicians worked on my nails: first Anthony filed off part of my old gel and applied the acetone with foil; then Lauren finished removing the gel and worked on my cuticles; and then Michelle finally did my gel manicure after she finished my daughters full set acrylics. So there was a considerable wait time, but I wasnt in a hurry. Michelle was attentive to my requests and did a really good job on my French tips gel manicure. I will return even though I live outside the City of Maricopa. 😊

I went in to try the new SNS nail technique I keep hearing about, and Im not sure Im sold on it. If you look at the photos of the job I got done here, you can see how thick/uneven my nails are, & how cut up my hands are. I told the woman who did my nails (she never gave me her name) that I have Very sensitive cuticles and I usually bleed at nail salons, so she said she would be very careful. Well I think these photos speak for themselves. Im still healing but all my fingers are in pain. She wouldnt stop filing my nails down to a stub, and cutting my cuticles down until chunks of my skin were missing! The whole experience was quite uncomfortable. She never asked me what shape I wanted my nails either. My nails have never been this short in my life, I can see the skin thats usually under the nailbed. Maybe she was new and hadnt done very many Sns nails before. She was extremely nice though and the service I received was great. I liked my technician, Im just saying the skill level could be improved. Very pretty and clean looking salon too. I just hope their tools are clean since I was cut so much! All the employees were very nice though! Very classy looking salon.

My cousin uses this nail shop regularly and has had nothing but good experiences, so I had high hopes.. Unfortunately, my one bad experience will keep me from returning.I have grown up seeing nails be done. My mom has been licensed as a nail technicians for almost 20 years.Throughout my service the nail lady continued to ask me if i was happy with the shape and with what was being done. I politely said no serval times and showed where I was unhappy. She was not receptive to this and carried on for the rest of time with a bad attitude about doing my nails. What I am most upset with is the lack of what I got for the price that I paid. Anyone can glue on a fake nail crooked and throw some product over it; she did no preparation prior to moving forward with putting on a full set. My cuticles the day after are cut in multiple places, and there is still visible work that should have been done (such as pushing back my cuticles and nipping off any dry skin around the area. even filing my nails a bit, considering I can still see my real nails on the sides.) It definitely looks like I paid $20 for this set rather than the $60 I actually did.Hopefully this is seen and passed on, so that their employees do their jobs correctly and give clients what they are paying for moving forward. We made an appointment and got right in. There was a rude customer that walked in right before we did. This millennial thought she should have been seated before us without an appointment. So she stormed out and left a review right away. Self-entitled, instant-gratification is going to ruin this country. Shame on them. Hard working and friendly environment! My wife used a Groupon! Great deal! My daughter picked a great color and was treated like a princess! I got my toenails cut and feet cleaned with an awesome foot and calf massage. Pristinely clean and hygienic with restroom and free cool water. I am definitely coming back here again! 😎

This is my go to spot been here probably 7 times at this location. I called to schedule an apt. told the guy I didnt want to be rushed because I dont know what color to choose yet ,so I was okay waiting 30 min before my appointment. When I came in the I felt rushed I did have gel from previous other nail salon. The lady wanted to work on my manicure as soon as I got there but I told her I wanted to take my time picking the color btw I was the only person in there. I decided to not get gel or any service because my nails looked fragile so I decided to take a break. I asked the lady I didnt want no gel anymore she called the guy over who I believe the owner who was just chilling sitting down on the chair by the way does not look professional in my opinion ,and he seemed upset b/c I changed my mind .I felt so uncomfortable and gained up on. When I checked out to pay for the service of removing my gel. He was so quiet and didnt even say have a good day or anything. Also they charge $10 to remove gel but he charged me $2 more. I assume its because he was upset. Overall not a good service not going back again.

I treated myself to a nice mani pedi after my last finals of school (and to get ready for graduation). I loved it! I found the perfect maroon and gold SNS colors to match my cap and gown. Staff was friendly and every station was very clean!Its been 4 weeks and they definitely lasted! Ill be coming back for another color!Also, I love their 7-day policy on nails! 😁

Clean store, yet four of my nails are bleeding. I am disappointed because this store is new to my neighborhood and very close to my house, yet I will not be visiting this store anymore. I mentioned to the woman that she had cut my finger and that my hands were very dry, yet she continued on and cut me three more times. Both of my pinkies, left hand ring finger, and left hand thumb. I got my nails done this past friday 4/6. I usually go to the location on gilbert and ocotillo and they always do an amazing job. The service i was getting this time was a full set SNS. I did have to wait a while which was expected because i was a walk in. What upset me was, when i actually got sat, i felt like she was rushing through my nails, and it looks like it too. There are dips in my nails and then one of the nails is leaning to the side. I also asked her to put one rhinestone on each nail and she told me i didnt need it. I was excited and then just disappointed because now my nails are going to be jacked for vacation. not happy.

I went for the first time last week. My tech was Michelle she did an awesome job on my nails. I did the SNS dip and they look great. The place was clean and relaxing. She took her time and didn’t rush like some others. They are a little more expensive then some other places for some things but only by a few dollars but I feel they are worth it and offer better quality services. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back.

I love this nail salon. The space is open and very pristine. The nail techs take pride in their work and it shows. They are very gentle, polite and really go above and beyond to accommodate their customers. I never feel rushed and I’ve never had an issue with sanitation here. What makes this establishment so special to me is that the owner is always present. He is amazing! He works very hard and his passion in his business really shows. He connects with everyone who comes in and wants everyone to leave satisfied with their service. Walk ins are welcome but I suggest scheduling an appointment as they can get pretty busy and with good reason.

When I lived in Mesa, this was my go to nail salon. I now live on the other side of the valley and I STILL make the drive out to Mesa specifically for this salon. The interior is always bright, refreshing, and clean. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and I always leave feeling relaxed, pampered, and happy. Best of all, my nails look amazing and if there are any problems they are quick to fix it. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This spa is absolutely Gorgeous! Everyone is so friendly and sweet. The products last longer than other shops for me and my nails hold up really well. The owner of the shop was so good to my daughter and Michelle hasn’t failed me yet. I went back to get a nail fixed yesterday (something I did) and they had my color on file. They are very organized and professional. Please check them out!

Be prepared to pay in cash or pay to get cash out of their ATM. I know most nail salons prefer you to tip them in cash but to go so far that they require you to get cash out of their ATM to pay the bill is unacceptable. They have a card reader but will not let you use it.

Since moving to Phoenix over 10 years ago Ive been looking for my go to nail salon and Ive finally found it! Herbal Nails in Gilbert is amazing. From the receptionist to the nail techs and the owners every one is so friendly and talented. They keep up with the times and all the trends. Wide selection of gel and dip colors. I brought my whole bridal party here for my wedding and they took such great care of us. Michelle is awesome and I usually try to see her if she is available, however every single tech is awesome. Most recently Amy did my pedicure and she was fantastic!

First the technician was late. I told her I wanted pointy nails and she started giving me square. I absolutely hate square shape! Then she tried to fix it by giving my almond which I like that shape, but theyre so short looks like kid nails. Lets just say my appointment was for full set, Pedicure, and eyebrows and I left after my nails were done. I will be going to my appointment with another shop tomorrow to fix my nails! Just avoid this place!

Me and my auntie love this place. I love the natural products since I am sensitive and Amy was so nice to me, she even gave me water to help my cough. This place is so cool, clean and the colors to choose from are my favorite! Our family will only be coming here, thank you Anthony and Alva also.

My mom, grandma, mother in law and I went in for SNS and pedicures! All three technicians worked fast so that we wouldn’t have to wait too long. Only issue was my technician would not go as short as I wanted on my nails. Front desk lady was very kind and helpful with finding colors for our toes to match our nails.
