We ordered a TV and Internet Package and were told over the phone the equipment would be delivered by this past Tuesday. On Wednesday late afternoon there was no delivery. We called Cox and were told there was no delivery to our home scheduled and besides that they dont deliver to our address. So now we will travel over to their office that we could have done on Tuesday. Not a good start.

For Cox internet, overall: I had a technician come out to my apartment. My internet is dropping out several times per day and I have to reset my privately owned modem. He said it’s because someone set up the wiring wrong with the splitters and that he fixed it. I should have no problem, but if I do, call his private number.The wires, before he came, were all exposed and laying on the ground. So he said he removed some of the splitters, (didn’t) cleaned up the connections, (didn’t) and mounted it back on the wall.In reality, he did nothing to any connection, he just stuffed it in the box and hung it on a screw with the hole in the box. Internet still isn’t working right and I’m having to reset or power cycle my modem 4-8 times per day.We have another service tech coming tomorrow. But because I don’t rent their modem, but I bought an “approved” modem from a store, they will charge $75 if the outside wires are not the problem.I’m getting several T3 errors and dynamic range window violations several times per day and poor wiring is usually the problem.But it took 5 phone calls to get anything scheduled after this “technician” had already come out. These are the “after” pics, once our connections were “fixed.”

I went in to change the modem from Cox with my own modem that I purchased. My modem wasnt compatible with the higher internet speeds. I noticed boxes along the wall and inquired about them. The sales agent informed me that they were the new modems and were stacked against the wall because there was no room in the back. I asked him if they were better than the modem that I had from them. He said yes. I was surprised that he didnt offer the new modem 8n place of the one that I had since I was there to exchange mine and the one that I purchased wasnt compatible. Long story long...it would have been nice if the newer better modem had been offered to me by the sales person instead of me having to ask(that would have been good quality customer service).

I need consistent internet to work and when they can to see why my internet kept going out they basically said im SOL and the only way i was going to get reliable internet was to move since it was an issue with the infrastructure at the complex i live at.

Discrimination is happening at this location. Brandon was rude to rude and did NOT offer equal and fair accommodations for us to get our internet services set up. We can no wear a mask / Petri dish, for health reasons, and it is unacceptable to make customers stand in 105 degree temperatures. They need to have an area WITHIN THE STORE set aside to accommodate. Brandon at this location was cocky and rude about agreeing with the discrimination of his company’s policy. If only Brandon educated himself on how to truly stay healthy — maybe he would have more compassion for others.

Needed a new modem. Went into to try and buy one like I did a few years ago. The customer service rep told me they no longer sell them only rent. (Okay no a big deal) I ask how much per month. He responded with let me see what kind of deals I can get you. I respond that not really interested in adding anything to my plan. He came back that with renting the modem and if I add this and that for streaming my bill can be 5 dollars a month cheaper. I responded with for how long would my bill be cheaper. The rep then got very rude and was like for one year, but then you just come in and we can reevaluate it. I expressed that I was not interested in more equipment that I would have to keep track of and then have to come back in and take time that I dont usually have, as i work nights in the medical field, to prevent my bill from going sky high. He then rudely stated that if I just wanted a modem that I could go to best buy and buy one. I replied with but then I wont get tech support cause I am not using cox equipment. He replied with well yeah. Finally got him to just rent me the new modem and was out of there. Never been impressed with cox customer services reps but it seem to just be getting worse. Also THE WEARING MASKS REQUIREMENT MUST ONLY APPLY TO THE CUSTOMERS SINCE NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING ONE.

Quick friendly service was in and out in about 10 min. When I wanted to add a phone line to an existing service. I was surprised at the number of electronics they sold. Not a huge number just wouldnt have expected to find wireless speakers and cordless phones there .

I would just like to say Cox cable exceeded expectations again. I have gone into this store 3 times in the 5 years I have lived here and each time they have outdone the time before. David was awesome when he service our home in San Tan Valley AZ. Sept 21 @10:00 to 12:00pm he located the problem right away. We kept having connection problems always dropping. He put new connectors on cable because inside of cable connection was not flat it had a rise in the middle.Great job, working perfect. Thank youSean

Cox makes you sign a two year contract that you cant get out of with out paying a huge penalty. However, they can raise your monthly bill whenever they want. The quality of service and products is less than top quality. The Customer Service Reps only want to help you if you are interested in adding more services. I suggest you find a different company to do business with!

Just payed more to upgrade our internet and we were lied to. A 21 gb download file takes over 4 hours currently. Thats after we paid more money for faster speeds. Theyre lucky the other options are worse like century link. Theyve cornered the market so they dont care if your internet service is horrible.Cox is worthless

Do not do it. 20% price increases after the 1st year. Century link has better prices and better service. You dont always get what you pay got with COX. when I cancelled, they said they would send me a box to return and never did. Then I had to drop off at the local store with Long wait times. They have no sense of urgency. They have you sign in and still takes them 30 min to help you. Very ridiculous. If I could, i would give them 0 stars.

Rough to give a review when my reason for being at the store was to return my TV boxes but I do like the way customers are treated; equally and in order of arrival time. 1st thing to do when you visit the store is sign in at the coveniently located kiosk (sign will direct you to the kiosk). The customer service agents work quickly with customers so the wait is bearable. Once my name was called the agent I dealt with the returned boxes quickly, no more than 5 minutes.

We pay a lot of money for your services. It seems as if you no longer have the bandwidth to properly service all your clients. We had a technician out and then had to have another technician out 3 weeks later after losing our internet for 3 days! Our internet drops anywhere from 5-15 times per day which is unacceptable for the price we pay. Not to mention the significant increase in people working from home who rely on their internet to work but have continuous interruptions throughout their day. It’s my assumption that Cox doesn’t really care because there aren’t any competitors in the area who offer internet speeds similar to theirs. Therefore, they are taking complete advantage of customers who pay a ton of money for their continuously interrupted services.

The customer service in the back was mediocre. I was picking up a modem that I ordered over the phone. I was told to bring two forms of ID (Drivers license, passport, passport card, or a utility bill). When I was called to the back, the rep asked what I needed, not How may I help you today? and let him know that I was picking up a modem. All he asked was Whats your name? so I told him. Then he asked Whats the phone number you ordered it under? and I told him. He says Ok, Ill be back., comes back and hands me my modem without saying anything to me. Not really sure what to do next, I asked if he needed anything from me or if I was good to go, in which he replied No, youre good to go. Im giving two stars because the transaction was easy, but I was a little concerned about the lack of care as well as not having to show the two forms of ID in order to pick the equipment up. If someone knew that I needed to pick up this modem and only had my name and number, the associate would have handed out a $130.00 piece of equipment that I would be at fault for in the event that it wasnt me. In all, I will just be having Cox send me my modem via mail. Save your time and patience with having to deal with someone who seems to dislike their job enough to put their customers money at risk by handing out equipment to just about anybody.Side note: The store smelled really bad like they had just put cheap air fresheners all over, a little nauseating.

Great customer service each time I’ve been in! They’re quick and efficient. I don’t feel like I’m being scammed or talked into anything. The price of renting a router was a bit more than where I’ve previously rented from, so I purchased my own and they didn’t think twice about it when helping me set it up. Didn’t try to convince me to keep renting from them. Really kind people. Clean store that’s not overwhelming.

I wish I had never signed up for Cox Internet service! We were down 4 days in a row, every day - all after noon and all they say is unscheduled outage. I called and called and all they give is a couple dollars off on your bill! SERIOUSLY! Im trying to work! It cant be slow or off every afternoon or evening for no reason. Even when its on the speed isnt even close to what they say it could be up to. This is really going to suck changing over all my email, but Im paying for something that doesnt work!!!! Google it before you sign up! Trust me!

The internet goes off and on almost every weekend, and quite a few weeknights as well. Cox refuses to acknowledge there is a problem with their service, and instead wants to charge you $75 to have a tech come look at your equipment. The salesmen was trying to tell me there was no company discount like I made it up and to just order my service through him. Well, I ended up ordering my service online while sitting in their store and received my $150 off that they claimed didn’t exist as they handed me my box. Unbelievably bad customer service. We just ended our Cox contract because of poor customer service when talking to sales support and went into this location to return our equipment. It seems that Cox must value this trait. Maribel should not be in a public facing role. Cox administration should secret shopper this lady to see for themselves. She has no business being a representative of this business. When we walked in, I thought she was rude to the customer in front of us, but assumed it was a difficult customer.... I was wrong, its just her.While speaking to the manager about her smug behavior, her laughing at telling us we would have to pay for equipment we never recieved and the overall experience, she kept lingering around us. The manager was polite and professional, but Cox has lost a customer. So far we are very happy with Dish and Century link and spending $100 per month less with no difference noticed in quality.

I honestly dont know how this center has a 3 star, for the past week we have been calling into cox to cancel our plan because when we first called the representative was adamant about us getting the contour package even though we told him we wouldnt use it, but he kept going on that if we do that it will be cheaper because we wouldnt pay installation and when we were done we could get the same rate that we were promised. So after 30 minutes on the 9hone of him not backing down we went with it and it hasnt been the fill month but we wanted to cancel it and everyone on the phone was just so rude and some of the worst customer service ever! So we came down here to explain to them our situation. Super long story short we spoke with Brandon in here and already was 100xS better with people skills and just the customer service aspect that just kind of relieved us a bit that they actually do care, he got the manager Rob for us and they both did such an amazing job with understanding our situation! They were both amazing thank you guys for restoring our faith in cox!

On June 26, 2018, I visited the San Tan Cox Solutions store. I placed an upgrade to contour 2 from my current equipment. I was also offered the opportunity to add the premium channel package for $10 per month for 12 months, which I took. I installed the new boxes on the 27th and had the premium channels active. This morning I have no premium channels. Tech support says my account shows no premium channels. What the hell is going on?

Never have I been treated so rudely or spoken to so condescendingly as I was in this store on Jan. 30. I dropped in to get an explanation of how Cox determines the price of your TV pak and the bundle discount they offer when you call their loyalty department. I never did get an explanation since the customer service rep just kept answering my questions with I dont know. I wasnt there to hear your conversation with the loyalty department. I seriously doubt that Cox feels any loyalty to their customers whatsoever. I have been their customer for 21 years, and I am seriously considering finding a new carrier after yesterday s experience.

The cox reps are not given the ability to retain customers. The Cost of bundling after the initial contract is ridiculous. Price went up from $150 to $250 in 2 years. Out of control. Cancelled almost all my services as a result of the increase. Just because you may be the only main provider doesnt mean you should jack up prices. I switched to Roku and very happy.

The rather robust fluffy gentleman that helped me was nothing more than a complete ass the entire time. While making multiple attempts to lighten his mood by being nice. It didnt take long to discover that he was probably having a bad case of heartburn from the last customer he swallowed whole. Frankly, If you hate your job then get another. I am shocked you have a job with such an attitude. I would hope that youd at least be nice. Most morbidly obese people are. Especially at work because they need to buy food.

They where all smiling and smoothing it on when they told me I can close my account whenever I want with paying no fees so I closed 3 apartments with them, now that I need to close 2 of them they’re asking for $120 closing fee for EACH apartment!!! That’s a shame you need to lie to your clients then just “ohhhhh no worries, just sign here and there”... Very disappointed by their customer service. Ive had Cox service for 6 and due to old equipment I wanted to change to their new HD DVD box system, I also was in need of a new remotes as mine were wore down pretty bad. I had to take them to the store 2x. Advising me I didt have all my equipment with me. This first stems from their customer service, neglecting to educate me on what was needed to be returned and second the store not accommodating and working with corporate to arrange a box and shipping label to send the equipment back. I would switch providers if I had the opportunity to, however Cox is the only company offered in my area currently. Not to mention I pay more than double then my friends, and Cox refuses to negotiate a lower rate because they know we dont have any other option. Every time I call to re-negotiate they always appear to not have promotions.
