I moved out to Arizona in October and this is the first place I have been to since for contacts and glasses and I honestly had the absolute best experience at PerSpectacles.

It’s not often you find an eyeglasses dealer that is passionate about being excellent at what they do. You’ll see what I mean instantly when you come here. Never thought getting my first pair of bifocals could actually be a pleasant experience. Could not recommend this place any higher!

I recommend Perspectacles to anyone I know! Ive been coming here for years because Dave is amazing! I was due for an exam and needed new glasses and Dave took care of me! Had his best optician get my updated prescription and ordered the frames I wanted. Gave me an ETA on when to expect them as well. He knew how bad I needed them and even lent me a loaner pair until mine come in!! Ive NEVER had an optician take care of me the way Dave at perspectacles does. Ive gone to Perspectacles for a very long time, one of the reasons is the Owner David, he always does his best too give you his fullest attention even when the office is busy. They also have two great doctors, Ive used Castro a handful of times and always find him to be attentive and caring.Staff aside, I LOVE the frames Dave has, he always has unique frames that you will not find in a common glasses shop and if you dont see anything you like at that time, just check back soon because he is always rotating in different styles.

Glasses can be a tough item to buy. There are tens of thousands of frames to choose from. I can confidently say that David is an expert and can give you great and honest feedback about which frames to go for based on facial features, personality, and lifestyle. He has this down to a science. He also gives great advice on how to maintain them. I first met him and purchased my glasses 3 years ago and I still get compliments to this day. Highly recommend

While the building/facility may be nice and Dr. Castro is awesome. Dave, the owner, is less than polite. He was very rude while we were there and we over head him on the phone. He is not polite. I was in fact, in your shop with my father to discuss the issue further. When we asked to speak to Dave, we were told he was on the phone and he was being very rude. He never did come over and speak to us. We ended up going back to Dr. Castros office in Peoria.

Always VERY helpful and they stand behind their product.I had a lens prescription from another doctor and called David at PerSpectacles with a request that he put the prescription in some antique frames I already owned. He knows how to work on antique frames and did a great job.The pricing wasnt cheap, but it was certainly fair.I highly recommend this company.

Everything about this place is just fantastic. The interior is very modern and welcoming, the set up of all of their designs is easy and simple, the best part of all is David. Everyone I spoke to there was terrific. David was incredible...he knows a lot, and is sure about his knowledge, but isn’t a jerk about it. The front office woman(I’m sorry, I don’t know that I caught your name) was friendly and personable. Dr. P was genuine, intelligent, and kind. Dr. John is so nice and the optician takes the time to listen and talk to you when it comes to learning about new items. I love the guys here plus their easy on the eyes.

I was thoroughly pleased with my visit at Per Spectacle last night, David was very pleasant and Dr. Castro was FANTASTIC. He took the time to explain everything to me and did a Great job correcting my vision ( had on contacts that were wrong prescription). I walked out of of the office saying wow, I can see!! Usually when working on the computer at work, I repeatedly have to put on, then take off, put on, take off, etc.. readers, and still have to refocus at times. Today , with my day almost over, I realized that I have NOT even used the readers ONCE !!!!

Terrible experience from start to end! I used a Groupon for my very first pair of glasses and had my very first eye exam. I got a creepy vibe from the beginning and was continually upsold and ended up leaving spending way more than I expected. I needed my prescription changed as the one I received was still blurry and gave me a headache. When I arrived for my appointment a sign said the hours have changed! I was never given a call that this happened or that my appointment was rescheduled. At that point I was done, I ended up going somewhere else entirely and getting a new exam and prescription. I will never return there and will probably just throw away my now unusable glasses! Do not go here!

Ive bought two pairs of glasses here this year and both times it was totally painless and a good value.When I returned to have the frames adjusted, they took care of it without cost, twice. I dont know of another store in the E. Valley that offers so many choices and such great service. I will return again.

Went for years dealing with readers to help me see, finally went to PerSpectacles, Dr Eye , the eye doctor in the office there was very helpful - my first eye exam in my life at 55 - very helpful after the exam Dave recommend 2 different sets of glasses 1 for all round everyday usage, including outside transitions, and a set for working at my desk for reading and computer - what a difference I now see better than I have in 7 years, everything is working perfectly I will be back for both exams and glasses as needed.

I finally found a place for all of my eye care needs. Today I lost my glasses and in every place I called they told me that i could not get glasses today. Exept for this place that went out of there way to find me some similar to my prescription while mine were ready. I love the personalized attention given to me and I recommend them to anybody. And trust me i called a lot of places, even large retailers.

The owner, David, is fantastic. The process of getting my new glasses has been an uphill battle and David was never anything but friendly, understanding, and helpful. While I was going around in circles with my new employers vision insurance and my old employers HSA card, David kept the process of getting my new glasses rolling while I figured that out. That was one less worry for me. David was also super helpful in picking out my new frames, giving me honest feedback and didnt try to upsell me. I am definitely going back here when I need another eye exam and glasses.

Great people and great service and very fair prices on frames. This is a small business not Wal-mart and it shows, you can tell they love what they do! Will take my kids there when they need an exam.

I highly recommend this place, the optometrist actually cared about giving me the correct prescription, unlike chain eye centers that treat you like a number and want to get you in an out ASAP. The optometrists at PerSpectacles know what they are doing.

I purchased a designer pair of frames about a year ago and my kids got to them and broke them. I called and they had me come in and mailed my frames off and David gave me a temporary pair that fit my lenses right there on the spot free of charge. Went in to get a yearly eye/contacts exam with Dr. Piraino, he was extremely nice and helpful. It was my first time coming to PerSpectacles and was happy with the service. I found this place on Groupon and they have great deals going on right now. Dr. Piraino was professional and actually helped me find a better pair of contacts for my eye which fit better and is more comfortable.I also got a new pair of glasses with the help of David and Linda. They helped me choose a stylish frame that is a better fit for my nose bridge and overall face shape.

I ordered a rx pair of Kaenon sunglasses and David promised the greatest pair of sunglasses and had full trust in his lens guy to produce a quality lens that would be exactly the same quality as the Kaenon lab. When I got the glasses, there was a defect in the lens that would distort my peripheral vision, but only on one side. I showed David the defect I was seeing, which I could see without even having the glasses on my face. My girlfriend even saw it. He emphatically stated that he could not see what I was talking about, and reluctantly sent the lens back to have it fixed. Not sure the lenses were even sent back, because when I got the glasses back, it was the same. He stated there was nothing more he could do. best part, he said he threw my old Kaenon lenses away and were not available for me to take with me... I bought them, why were they just thrown away..... its where the value of the band is. He kept them for himself seeing that he admitted to only wearing Kaenon sunglasses. Worst pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. Total Sheister...... as honest as a used car salesman.

My Easy tech Bluetooth device had not been working properly, so Perspectacles arranges its return for me. When I got it back, it worked fine and has continued to work well ever since. Also had to return one hearing aide for a very strange problem in which it would “chime” for no apparent reason. When it came back, it was also working just fine.

This is the antithesis of LensCrafters, people who take the time to work with you, know what they are doing and make you feel important. David is a master optician, took the time to work with me on the correct glasses for my face shape etc....Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great new pair of glasses, contacts or new lenses for their current frames!!!!!
