Came here with some questions and the owner could not give me straight answers. Didnt feel comfortable signing anything. Plus the rates were way higher than anything else

Office is not consistently open during regular business hours and if you have any questions regarding farmers, Steve Kaploe knows absolutely nothing. I would be scared to have a legal binding policy/contract with Steve Kaploes name on it. Just go to any other farmers agency.

This would not be the first time I have sang my praises for Steve Kaploe. Whenever I have an insurance need he is quick to respond. He makes things convenient - like driving to your home because you have a crazy toddler even though he just had shoulder surgery. With that said, these are wonderful things but perhaps they are things you would expect out of a great agent. What you don’t expect is what puts Steve above the rest. I had a bad experience with my insurance company where they were incorrectly classifying a few claims surrounding a surgery for my son. This incorrect classification was a difference to my family of making thousands of dollars on a supplemental policy versus paying thousands of dollars for medical bills. Typically your agent might guide you through filing an appeal. Not Steve. Steve made an appeal the worst case scenario. He immediately went to bat for me and contacted his connections at the insurance company and got the classification overturned in a matter of weeks. An appeal would have taken months and who knows if at the end of that process they would have found in my favor. Although I won’t name the insurance company, I also will still give my thanks to the insurance company rep that helped so that anyone reading this review knows that the products Steve sells are still very good... hiccups are just a part of life. Steve is worth more than his weight in gold and I will continue to sing his praise and refer him everyone under the sun! My family thanks you, Steve :)
