I recently purchased a Volvo from Geneva Foreign & Sports from Michael. The process was incredibly smooth. Just about the prettiest car dealership Ive ever seen. Great selection, great service. Worked with Rosy in the sales department, and while the car I had hoped to buy had sold before my visit, after a few (probably too many, but why not?) test drives, found myself in a gorgeous 2014 Audi A4 that looks and drives like new, barely shows a day of its 7 years and 90k+ miles. Nowhere else will you find a used car that is mechanically and visually as nice as you will here.

So ,Memorial Day 2021 my wife and I were driving home from visiting our daughter in New Hampshire. We were on the 90 westbound approaching exit 42. Suddenly the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. We could feel the car losing power. We took exit 42 and pulled over on rt.14 southbound. Car was dead called for a tow. The driver recommended Geneva foreign and Sports. It was closed but thank God for Louie,he was their off the clock. We were stranded 100 miles from home. Made a dozen calls and no one was available to pick us up. Louie took care of us, made sure the service manager knew we needed the car fixed and drove us around to find a car rental. Memorial Day everything is closed.tried Uber without luck, Finally Louie found us a cab. He refused to take any money for helping us. My wife and I will always remember Geneva Foreign & Sports with great memories.

Bought a BMW from here a little less then a year ago. Should have known when it took FOREVER to take delivery that we should have reconsidered the purchase. Here we are a year later needing $4K in repairs, literally a third of what we paid for the car. How in the world does it need that much money dumped into it a year later. I get that older cars will require some repairs but we didnt drive it so much this past year that everything wore out that quickly. Seriously need to do your research before buying from them and make sure the vehicle is in decent shape.

2 months ago after we had purchased our vehicle I left a great review for gfs. Our sales experience was easy, Michael was able to meet our requests and help us secure the purchase of a beautiful F250. When we went at the scheduled time to pick up the truck it wasn’t ready, even then we waited the requested 2 hours for them to detail the vehicle.On July 23 we reached out to the dealership because we realized the temporary registration was about to expire. Karen, head of the title and registration department told us there was a hold up due to covid we should have it in a week. 1 week, then 2 passed. We called weekly for updates because Karen never called us as she promised she would. We are now driving a truck with an expired registration. Karen placed the blame on the DMV, paperwork and titling issues. The more we contacted Karen the more frustrated we got as her attitude was extremely rude and condescending. To the point she told us if we were that “inconvenienced” to not have the registration we could return the truck to the dealership, they would buy it back or store until the registration was available. It is not a matter of inconvenience but of legality. We contacted our local police department and dmv to find out our options. We have received letters from our insurance threatening to drop us because we are attempting to insure a vehicle we do not own. All the while Karen is not helping, and this is her job. It is right in her job title, Title Clerk.In her defense she did send a letter on company letterhead we were to show the police in the case we were pulled over for the expired registration, our police department laughed over that one.We finally received our registration today 9/2/21 after picking up the vehicle 6/12/21 and the temporary expiration on 7/26/21.I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The cars are beautiful and well priced but the hassle is not worth it.

Would not recommend buying from here, know of multiple people who have been promised rust free trucks and cars only to find bondo and rusted through wheel tubs under fender flares. And when these people attempt to contact they are blocked or simply given the cold shoulder. I no longer consider this a reputable place of business and will be spreading the word far and wide.

Very poor experience working with their sales team. I reached out inquiring about a vehicle and spoke to Jay from their sales team. He promised to share information I requested on the vehicle. Several days(3) and several messages(3) left with different ppl who promised that he would get back to me and he never did. I even text messaged Jay after his team gave me his cell to reach out, and yet he doesnt have the professionalism or common courtesy to respond to my direct messages. Im a real buyer looking to purchase an expensive vehicle, and it appears Geneva doesnt care about making a sale or is simply too busy to care about their customers.

They sold me a lemon(‘11 bmw 328i) They bought from an auction and did literally nothing to itPurchased car January 18 2020Said they replaced valve cover and gasket before I bought it. Blew three months later(mid March 2020)Car didn’t come with working air conditioning. Then a week before my 24th birthday(about four and a half months of me having the car) The pulley on the a/c compressor fell off. Causing my serpentine belt to fall off stranding me on the side of the road.Car only came with one key fob. Asked constantly for another key while I had my one month warranty. Was told multiple times they were working on it. Went back daily to check, only to get “we’re working on it still.” Now My key fob will not lock/unlock my doors, can’t open the trunk because the battery in the fob won’t charge in the ignition slot. Everything has to be done from inside the car. Now I’ve got to spend almost $400 on a new fob because I’m getting sick of using the actual key/door lockWent back a few times to get a part(passenger side grill near fog light) instead of ordering a new one, they went and pulled it off one of their junk vehicles(first time I asked they pulled one off one with a different style grill because it was before ‘08. Second time they get the right one)and charged me retail price for itDidn’t tell me there were any recalls( only found out when I went to the bmw dealer in Rochester to get some quotes for a few NEW parts that I needed)The only thing I can say they did right was change one of my headlights that went out. Yes it works but they didn’t clear the code so now every time I start the car I get a light on my dash saying I have a headlight out10/10 would not recommend getting anything from there unless it’s a simple job done to a car you have

I had a fantastic time at this dealership. I had been looking for a truck for about 6 months with everything being out of our price range and salesman pulling the bait and switch over on us. The Truck was listed at a great price, it was parked out front and already warm (we were shopping in the winter), and it was the quickest paperwork that Ive ever done. There were some minor things that needed to get repaired after I purchased it, those repairs were handled immediately and with no cost relayed to me. 10/10, I will be buying my next car here for sure. Very Unprofessional and misleading Sales Manager “MICHAEL HACKETT”. Backstory*Relatives purchased a vehicle from this dealership along with an extended warranty. After they got home I was able to review their documents for the extended warranty and found a few issues with it. 1. It was a 3yr/36k mile warranty with a $100 deductible that was presented as a factory warranty. Vehicle has about 96000 miles. What was failed to be mentioned to them was that with this warranty after 100000 miles it turns into a powertrain only. They paid $3000 for this warranty. * Fast forward to about 2 ½ weeks later I travel down with them to the dealership….. (they needed some items looked at on the vehicle that were not noticed at purchased such as: chewed wires from animals in engine compartment and struts making a lot of noise). ***SIDE NOTE:I have to say whoever their phone people are, they are awesome at their job, very friendly and thoughtful.*** …..I travel down with them to the dealership, we drop the vehicle off at service to have the items looked at and we all head to the mall to go shopping. We were then contacted that the vehicle was finished and we went back to the store. At the store the receptionist helped clarify some things and was vague about the repair done to the wires. (the repair consisted of them wrapping it with electrical tape and calling it a day.) The service department notified us that the vehicle needed a Strut. They promised to mail a Strut to us, but would not cover any labor costs. After speaking with service, we proceeded over to Michael Hackett’s desk where I requested a cancelation on the warranty. His immediate response was taking out a brochure for the warranty and saying that it had nothing to do with the dealership. (This statement would have been very misleading if I did not know what I was talking about.) His statement sounded like a statement used to deter someone from canceling within the first 30 days. ****NOTE: within the first 30 days of a warranty contract of this type, If you cancel you are entitled to a FULL refund. Depending on weather or not it was All financed that refund is due to you in cash or to your lienholder as a reduction in your principal balance. **** After insisting that he had nothing to do with it and accusing me of being aggressive and threatening which I take was due to me shaking because of my Remedial Tremors and red-faced because I was nervous and it should have been an easy process. Also being nervous doesn’t help with the Tremors lol. After he postured as if he was hoping I would do something, he called his 3rd party vendor who connects him to the Warranty company and who didn’t quite fully understand the situation. They both told me I had to call the company to cancel the warranty. I did not want to cause any more of a scene and we were not getting anywhere being there. About 10 minutes being on the phone waiting for an answer from the warranty company they instructed us to cancel the warranty AT THE DEALERSHIP because the warranty was not processed to them from the dealership and that an in-dealership cancelation is required. Long story short about the cancelation, after a few hours of submitting information, typing up letters to the dealership, Attorney General, and the bank and warranty company, the warranty was canceled. Good note to mention: I only had to text these letters and documentation to the Dealer and Warranty Rep to get it canceled but it should not have taken all that to cancel a warranty. I expect from reviewing all the other negative reviews on here that I will get some misrepresentation of events as a response but this review is accurate to a T about how events transpired. Over all they have potential of increasing their retention if they actually listen to their reviews, however seeing how old some are and knowing what canned ones look like, I do not see it happening. I wish them the best and wanted to share the experience in full. Thank you for the advisor that was nice. We did receive the strut!!

Brought my BMW in for an oil change and after it was put up on the lift they found that my tire rod was bent and needed replacement soooo - I was offered a loaner vehicle to get me home as I live an hour away; they ordered the part and it was fixed 2 days later... I cant say enough about how great the service department is. They always have my back and I am always made to feel welcome when I am there.

Geneva Foreign replaced the clutch and flywheel in my 2011 Porsche 911. The price was fair, great communication, lots of pictures and done in a timely manner.

Dealership prices with less than corner shop service. I’ve dealt with these guys for a few years and never had a problem with their pricing because I assumed the level of service would match and it does not. The turn around time has become inconvenient, communication is lacking and the quality of work is poor at best. You might as well go to your corner guy and deal with the low level of service and save more than half on the repairs. Chances are the repairs will be of higher quality.

When I brought in my 2014 Smartcar they took about 45 minutes to look at it and gave me a breakdown of what needed to be fixed along with a quote so I wasn’t just left guessing how much this would cost. Land Rover specialists! Dont go anywhere else if you are having Range Rover problems. They did head gaskets on my 2015 Range Rover for about 1/2 of what the Rochester dealer wanted. Much higher level of service than I have ever received at the dealer. AAA+++

I reported it to the sales rep Micheal, and even though I even showed him pictures of the black oil that wasnt changed, he still acted as if I was lying instead of fixing the issue. Also They knew my name but never greeted me by it. Nice cars, but I would never recommend this place ever! Poor customer service. I just financed a $10,000 vehicle, not a pen, a t-shirt a mug, no nothing, but a mere email saying thank you for your purchase terrible service I experienced.

I have never left a review before at a dealership but felt compelled to do so because GFS made the ENTIRE buying experience so excellent. I am a vintage aged woman and am always apprehensive about buying a car without my husband. The salesman did not try and steer me towards any particular car. He answered all of my annoying questions with ease, facts and made me feel like he had all day to make sure I was happy. The interior of the building is absolutely beautiful, clean and professional. I felt no pressure what-so-ever to buy. I did have a concern about a noise two days after getting my car home (they put new tires, brakes and rotors on between test drive and purchase). Without ANY hesitation they said to bring the car back and they repaired it at no cost to me. They even allowed me to keep a loaner for two days during the repair. They called after the repair to assure that I was satisfied. At this point they have secured a customer for life. The icing on the cake is that it has been 6 months and I LOVE my BMW 328i more each day. Thank you.

I bought a bmw from here, it took a month for the vehicle to be ready for me to pick it up. Not to mention the lack of communication about them needing more time, or the neumerous time Ive tried calling and no one answers or certainly returns your calls. Ive had to take it back four times to fix the problem that should of been fixed before I even took the vehicle home. Now 2 months later the dmv sends a letter that my plates are suspended because they never transferred my plates from the vehical they bought from me to the bmw. Overall a terrible experience would not recommend.

I would not recommend this place to anybody!! We drove an hour and a half to look at a pathfinder, we decided to buy it and Dan insures is they would take care of a few issues with it. So they had a whole week to fix it so we show up the next week and the heat still doesn’t work. Dan says they will fix it and deliver it on Monday to us and fill the gas tank so we won’t have to drive an hour and a half AGAIN!. Well it’s Wednesday afternoon and still no car here. One excuse and lie after another from DAN. One of the worst experiences ever plus the heat still. Doesn’t work properly.

This place is dishonest. The salesman (the owners nephew, Michael) and I went back and forth for a week before we settled on a price. Then, when he sent me the purchase agreement, it was not what we had agreed on. I pointed it out to him and he indicated we must have just misunderstood. But he held firm on the incorrect purchase agreement.I know what we agreed to. So we walked away.A couple of weeks later, the car was still for sale, so I reached out to see if Michael was ready to deal with the price fairly and he indicated that he had sold the car for full asking price (which is laughable).Here it is, three weeks after that and guess whats still showing for sale? And a different salesman confirmed that the car was still available.Ask around town and locals will warn you to stay away. This dealership is not known for honesty and integrity.PS Michael agreed to the sales terms we discussed if I would promise to leave positive reviews on three different sites.So the positive reviews you see here? Take them with a grain of salt.

My experience at this place was terrible. They were very unorganized and didn’t have anything prepared. I have never came across a business ran like this and regret it.
