I recycled a laptop with them in the past but still called before bringing a Mac monitor and laptop to them today to recycle. I was clear on the phone, and the employee clearly responded that, yes, the store is able to recycle all Apple products, including power cords. So I loaded everything up and made the trek — difficult parking and two walking trips from the car — to drop off. And wouldn’t you know it: I get there with the second load (not the first) and they tell me they don’t recycle, less than an hour after telling me on the phone they do. I have had unprofessional (and to be fair, highly professional) experiences with the store in the past, but this is a new low.

Taking weeks to repair my laptop when they said it would be two days. Basically they were have no idea when it will be done. I dont know why they are running like this. I recommend going to another store. I had to pick up my laptop and take it to another store after them holding my laptop for weeks and not doing anything with it.

I called and asked for the price of a battery replacement for a Macbook Pro Mid 2012 retina. I was told it would be about $200. I went to the store for the repair and OOPS it was $600. I left and went to Everything Mac in Gainesville instead where the actual price more than 10% less than the $600 and the turnaround time was 2 days fewer. I recommend Everything Mac for repairs in Gainesville.

Half of the staff was very friendly and appeared to be doing the most they could to repair my broken down laptop. However, it took a week for a diagnostic, and another week for them to realize that they essentially diagnosed my laptop incorrectly, leaving me two weeks without a computer, only to return it still completely broken. When I went to pick up my computer, a friendly employee left to retrieve the item, and I heard another employee refer to this retrieval as him dealing with some drama. Not sure why an Apple service center is so limited in their abilities to fix an Apple product, or at least diagnose it. I also really didnt like my attempt to give this place service being referred to as drama which the employees must deal with. Throughout the process, the employees here recommended me to take my laptop to Gatortec, and after I was left no other choice, I finally did. I highly recommened Gatortec as a first option, and this place as a final resort.
