I got my haircut here and I really liked it. She is Korean stylist, so she has the skills, the way it is set up right now is completely approptiate for this COVID circumstance. Only one person at a time can get the service based on reservations. The price is reasonbale and I will definitely get my hair cut in this place from now on!

Sun is definitely a hidden gem stylist in Gainesville area. As a Korean, I usually request a particular style to a stylist but I doesnt always end up with what I wanted due to the lack of experience a stylist may had. All you need is a photo of a style you want and Sun will make it happen. She is also very hospital and pleasant, and her rate is very reasonable (hence I always tip accordingly). She is also very cautious with necessary COVID precautionary measures, which makes me feel safe. Im glad she offers her service in my area and look forward to stopping by once in a while.

The facility was clean and the owner was friendly but that is about the only positive things I can say. I showed her a picture of what I would like my hair to look like and immediately she started cutting my hair in a way that is not similar to the picture in any way. She asks me if I like the direction and I reiterate what I want so she adjusts. Then half way through the cut after she had already cut one side of my hair far to short to be able to do the come over style I wanted she inquired about a part which I then say again no that is not what I asked for.. she does not seem very experienced in cutting anything other than a high and tight fade.. anything with layers or varying lengths seems to confuse her and I have since found multiple places all over my head where there are pieces different lengths and uneven lines.

The owner was very nice and friendly. Super clean place and even though it is in a truck that doesn’t take away from the fact that she is very good at cutting hair.

Sun has been giving me a quality haircut since she moved to Gainesville. Before meeting her, I drove all the way to Jacksonville to get my haircut from a Korean barber. I showed her pictures of the haircut I had in a popular hair salon in Gangnam district in Seoul and she was able to give me the exact same haircut. I feel very fortunate that she and her family members moved to Gainesville and I hope that she eventually open a hair shop in Gainesville.
