I absolutely LOVE this dealership. My parents and I have been coming here for years and probably will never go anywhere else. I came in yesterday to trade in my car and it couldn’t have been a better experience. I came in and told Mark Ely exactly what I wanted in my new car and he picked out the perfect car for me in one try. He didn’t bombard me and was extremely well mannered with a great personality. Then I had the pleasure of working with Evan Lemons who literally broke his back and jumped through so many hoops multiple times to advocate for me to get the best deal literally possible. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had anyone fight for me that hard for anything. And he succeeded. Not to mention he was hilarious and made the process feel like it took half the time that it did. And last but not least Chris who finished out everything for us and kept the energy alive even at the end of the work day. He was so funny and so nice and finished everything at the speed of light while jamming to music which made for a perfect ending to a great day. I left there feeling so blessed and well taken care of. And it’s for that reason and so many more from previous experience with everyone at O’Brien Hyundai that I’ll never go anywhere else as long as I live here. I live over an hour away 20 minutes from a Hyundai and still drive to this location every service and for everything I need. I love them and you will to. Thank you again to everyone ❤️

Very professionally run car dealership. Everyone are dressed professionally, masked and extremely knowledgeable, and courteous.On my visit for a recall service on my Santa Fe I wondered over to the sales division to look at the new Tuscan Limited. Within 5 minutes I was sitting with the salesman and had a test drive in one within 15 minutes.Within 1hr a lease deal was made!The car was then driven to my house that same evening.Fantastic stressless sales experience! Had the best car buying experience ever. Was really frustrated when I got to Hyundai (see my Honda Fort Myers review...spoiler, it was not good). The Elantra was on my list of cars that I liked so I went to Hyundai of Fort Myers and immediately met Jorge. We sealed the deal in less than 45 minutes. Everything went smooth and cost/payment was right in line with my projections for total cost and payment. I got more than I thought for my trade in and everything was seamless. Jorge was great and and I am thankful he was able to help me get a fantastic car at a great price.

Ok,So I came in on 5/19/2021. It is now 7/30/2021. I still have not got my car fixed. The white Pearl paint which I was told there was a known defect on is peeling right off my Hyndai Sonata. I’m not sure if this is the normal time to get a car fixed but it seems a little excessive. Granted the manager Nathan, once he got a hold of my case got them to agree to a goodwill fix, but then they didn’t approve a rental. They want me to drop my car off for a week with no consideration for me getting to work. Nathan told me that he would attempt to get a loaner but it’s been 3 weeks since and no loaner yet. The car has gotten worse and at this point I will probably never buy from them again. Can I please get my car fixed as agreed and get a loaner within the next year.

Everyone we dealt with here was top notch! Karl the salesperson was very helpful, listened to our wants and really invested his time. Would definitely recommend him. Rex also was awesome. He was super friendly and willing to make sure we got what we were after and looking for. I appreciate them both and will definitely use them from here on out when buying a car. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is Steve. I recommend and stand behind using Hyundai, Karl and Rex. STAY AWAY FROM Steve. They have other finance people there, use them. Steve would not listen to the customer, was rude, and even tried to tell my wife I didn’t know the decisions I was making when I walked out of the room. Bottom line, I WILL buy all my future cars from Hyundai of Fort Myers. I WILL use Karl and Rex, but I’ll will stay far away from Steve. Go see Karl, you’ll love him!

I was very impressed with the professionalism, customer service, and diligence of the Service department. I was bringing in my GV80 for the first service. Making the appointment was very way and there was flexibility on when I could bring in the vehicle. I also decided at the last minute to install a trailer hitch. The Parts department was easy to work with and the Service dept accommodated me and installed the hitch during my already scheduled appointment. The waiting area is clean and there were drinks and snacks available. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend the dealership.

My sales person was Jessica DeZayas. She was very professional, welcoming and helpful. She made what is a stressful process easier. She was very patient with me while explaining the process and the differences between the vehicles I looked at and what were my better options. I was also very pleased with the gentleman (sorry I forgot his name) that walked me through all the paperwork involved with the transaction. He took his time explaining all the forms and options available for end of lease and packages. The sales person was genuine and cared, with good but not great product knowledge, to his defense he was new. I got the feeling when talking to others on the showroom floor the he represents the minority there in every aspect.The finance and sales manager did their part to squeeze every last dollar out of the deal for the (dealership). But hey, I guess that pretty much sums up the industry as a whole.The service writer that eventually helped me was pleasant and competent.

Phil did most of the non-finance paperwork and was very thorough and professional and answered all my questions extremely well. Tony from finance did an outstanding job as well. Arrived and saw a multitude of cars lined up for service, didn’t panic as I saw that they were quickly inputting the cars for service. needed to have oil and filter change along with tire rotation. my service tech ( Charles) quickly got my information in the system and I waited for service to be completed. I have purchased 2 Genesis G80 from this dealership in the past and have returned as I have always received prompt and courteous service each visit.

Going to a dealership, You would think all they want is your money but that wasn’t the case during my visit. The service manager Scott was very helpful. He gave me his personal opinion on what he would do and what’s best for me, that would help me save some money. When I return I will always ask for him.

A simple process of discontinuing one lease, and initiating a new lease was made unnecessarily cumbersome and lengthy. I was left waiting outside the finance dept for two hours, while numerous other customers came and went. I got management involved after one hour, but nothing happened for another hour, at which time I was given all types of specious excuses why I waited so long.This process should be a simple roll over, not treated as though it is an entirely new transaction.

I had not heard from my advisor 3 hours after I dropped the car off so I called. Someone whose name I did not get took the call and said Kyle was at lunch and he would check with the tech. He came back on and said I needed a timing belt. I told him I had that done. He said I checked your records and if you had it done, it wasnt done here. I told him I only had my car serviced at OBrien. He said, Listen, I am not saying you are lying but I have checked all you records and there is no record of a timing belt. Plus none of your records show you paid anywhere near what a timing belt would cost. Plus, if WE did the timing belt, there would be a sticker on your engine and there is no sticker. He also scared me when he said if I didnt get the timing belt replaced, it could destroy my engine. Upon cheking my paperwork, I discovered the timing belt WAS done at OBrien at 47,700 miles. When this was brought to his attention, he backtracked and said it was categorized wrong on the computer. Fortunately I keep excellent records or this this service tech would have talked me into an unnecessary timing belt priced at $943.88.

Eddie at the Hyundai side just wanted to get to the next deal.Stop and understand what we are asking. I had my car towed in because it stopped running. Turned out to be that I needed a new engine. Brady was my service advisor and he was great from my arrival to departure. He was upfront and honest with me about my car. He got me into a rental really fast. The car took about 3 weeks to complete. Now it rides smooth again. I love having experiences where the advisors know what they are talking about and do a great job with a positive attitude. Kudos to Brady and the entire Hyundai team here!

I searched for a month to find a Palisade in the colors I wanted (worked with 5 other dealers in the Tampa area). I finally found the perfect vehicle at OBrien Hyundai of Fort Myers. Thanks to Edgar Lopez for all the help in securing this vehicle. We emailed back & forth for 2 hours. Edgar had so much patience, answered all my questions and concerns with the utmost attention and in a timely manner. We were able to come to an agreement on price that was good for me and for them. I have had the Palisade now for 3 days and all is well. Edgar did go through all the gadgets but it was a bit overwhelming, so I am slowing learning and implementing things. When I arrived at OBriens Edgar had all the paperwork ready, the vehicle was ready, we went for a test drive, and the whole process took about 2 hours. Buying a new vehicle is so stressful but when I found Edgar at OBriens he made everything run so smoothly I had no worries.I am so glad that I widened my search to 100 miles from home. My only regret is that I dont live closer, so I can take the vehicle to OBriens for servicing. I highly recommend OBrien Hyundai of Fort Myers and Edgar Lopez as your internet/sales person..

I was informed by a couple of men that there was something hanging from the back of my new 2021 Santa Fe Hybrid. Upon observation, there indeed was a object that was about 12-15” hanging from by back axel. I immediately got on the website for O’Brien Hyundai and started a chat with “Jessica “. I informed her of my situation and that I didn’t know if I should drive the car to the dealership or have it towed. I was informed by Jessica 3 times that I would need to select a day to make an appointment.Well, I ended up just driving to the dealership and they got me in and out in about 45 minutes. I really hate chatting with someone who doesn’t know their job, but the service department was GREAT!

These guys are incredible people. Rex, William, Aden, and David the finance manager were all amazing to work with. They made the process easy and I was treated with the upmost honesty and respect. I even brought my friend in today and they are willing to work with his bad credit and gave him an excellent deal on a preowned car with barely any mileage. Found a truck on cargurus that I wanted and stopped in to look at it right away I was greeted by the staff and took it for a test drive. They didnt ask many questions just asked for my license which I really like because I didnt feel pressure they just let me do my thing. Traded my car and and they worked out a great deal with me on my trade. Paper work was fast and very easy to understand. Will be coming back for future business. Everyone there had a great attitude even tho they were rushing to get deals pushed out the door for atleast 15 customers at that time. Another thing I really liked was that the price you see is the price you get.

Overall, a good experience. Bought a used car. The price on the web site was a come-on (but I think that is true of all dealers) so the $14,000 car became a $17,000 car because of fees and “packages” of stuff I didn’t want or need. (They did negotiate a little). The salesman, Troy Jackson, was friendly, honest and accommodating. I would deal with him again. Before delivery they did polish the headlights, but there were some minor marks on the paint they could have compounded out pretty easily with a buffer. It took me an how to do it by hand.

I was not happy to hear that O’Brien Hyundai was sold and is now Hyundai of Fort Myers. I have purchased my cars at O’Brien since 2005 and have also used the O’Brien service department exclusively since 2005. On this visit to the service department, I found the employees I spoke with, the service provided to my car and the overall look and feel of this dealership to be seamless in comparison to the O’Brien experience, which has always been top notch. The problem my car was having was diagnosed, an estimate provided and the repairs made with no surprises and within a reasonable time frame. A great job as usual.

When you come to this location to purchase a vehicle make sure you ask for Shawn Greene, Hands down the best car salesman. Super friendly, listened to what I wanted, cared about my price range and he never attempted to push me into getting something I didn’t want. The vehicle I purchased came from another dealership and was only given one set of keys so I came back to get a second set. I was waiting to get them done and while he had another customer at his desk, he was still on top of making sure it was getting done quickly so I wouldn’t have to wait. He was the unicorn of the car salesperson world, i will be returning to this dealership for my next purchase because of him and will make sure I send everyone on the market for a new car his way!!

I went here to purchase a Genesis, which I did. A 2022 G70 and I love the car. But it was a little confusing because I discovered when I got there that they don’t have a Genesis showroom…yet. You have to navigate a huge “auto mall”, complete with balloons and rock music in the showroom and people and families all over the place. It’s not really the atmosphere one would seek when shopping for a more luxury/high end vehicle. You’re not going to find a Mercedes or BMW-like atmosphere. Not even close. And completing my deal/lease paperwork took a VERY long time because the finance people were so busy. However, there are pluses: the car is AMAZING. Go drive one! My salesperson, Nino, was very nice and patient, as was the sales manager, Jeff. I feel they were honest and fair. Their valet service I will use in the future for servicing my vehicle is going to be a huge bonus. I may never have to “go” to the dealership again! That is, until I’m ready to lease another Genesis, and I am already pretty convinced I will do that.

I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. I waited for three hours. They had to replace a recall part, and was supposed to check my tires. While driving home, I noticed that my tires were still low, which means they were never checked. So I dont know if the recall part was even replaced. Now I am concerned.

Went in for an oil change. My service manager Ronnie called to tell me they were done and that I needed new cabin and AC filters because mine had “ants and mold in them.” When I explain that I change the filters myself to save on costs he promptly hung up on me and then chose not to put my car all the way back together. I found the latch/cover to my inside filter underneath the passenger seat a few days later. I just changed the filters myself and found no ants or mold. I am so sick of dealerships & service departments trying to take advantage of women.

The work done on my car was fine. It was the attitude of the Tech at the reception desk in the service department on Monday, Aug. 16th that upset me. He gave me the impression that he didnt want to service my car because it was a Nissan Rogue. He said he probably didnt have the necessary parts and would have to send for them. He also said that the oil change, which usually takes less than an hour would take up to 2 hours. He just made me feel unwelcome and had a crabby demeanor. He also belittled the service plan I had with Honda of Ft. Myers. I would not go back again if I didnt have those service offers in my contract.

Well, we were never shown anything on the car. We were in the office of the financial person to sign and found out our loan is for four years, not three, Then we were told we have an acquisition fee and disposition fee, which our salesman never told us. I was ready to walk out. And I really wanted a lift gate that came up automatically, but salesman told us it was in the next package up, about $8,000 more. Come to find out a week later, when we were having windows tinted, you could get lift gate without the package. I’m 5’ so that would have been great for me. And they were throwing in the window tinting, but guess what, just the front windshield and the two front Windows. So now I still want to get the other Windows tinted. So I would say our experience was not a good one. (But I do love my Sante Fe). And this is my third transaction with O’Brien, now Hyundai of Fort Myers. But we won’t purchase from them again.

Very happy with the service and salesmanship. The manager, Brian, remembered me from about 3 yrs ago! My salesman, Shawn Green was very professional, knowledgeable, understood my needs very well and helped with great explanations. He was patient and took a sincere interest in accommodatingTing is. By the way, I don’t think this is the most economical car purchase I’ve ever made, but I am still totally pleased, because of the attitude and atmosphere I encountered at this dealership. I was able to chat online with someone to ask basic questions and set up an appointment. Our salesperson Joe Schwoerer was great! Knowledgeable, provided us with choices, and didnt pressure us in any way. We got a great deal, and the finance person walked us through all the electronic paperwork - all copies of which were provided to us on a flash drive. Joe showed me how to use the new tech that my old car did not have, which was really helpful. He even called a few days later to make sure I didnt have any questions. What a great experience! I highly recommend Joe and OBrien Hyundai!

1. I was made to feel like I was asking for something impossible when I brought in the advertised price.2. The original contract had wrong car year and VIN for same price as the one I came in to buy3. I agreed to pay $8205.00 down to finance an even $16,000.00 down. Your loan guy took it upon himself to change my down payment without a conversation with me to $8300.00 I guess what I offered was not enough4. I was not talked to kindly when I questioned the numbers5. I stated multiple times that I am in the process of buying a home that my credit could not take multiple hits searching for the loan when I knew I could get financing from my own bank. Finance guy was not made aware of this and wanted to negotiate that also.6. You would only honor the price you offered if I used your financing!7. I was not happy that I was told I could finance for the 80+ month to keep my DTI low after being told by the sales person I could because I am trying to by a house then told no by the finance manager because of the price of the car that I was repeatedly told I should not be getting even though it was YOUR adversed price.

Gabe had called me the night prior to coming in to look at a truck that I liked. He just wanted to introduce himself, because the truck I liked was an internet find. I explained to him that I am in the middle of moving and had a specific breakdown of the deal that I had structured to buy the truck, and would not deviate. Also I explained my time is limited and needed to be in and out. Well, he had delivered with the deal and had me in and out in about 2 hrs. Buying a vehicle is a horrible experience, but not at OBrien, thank you for expediting my deal so I could get back to my task of packing up my home.

Ever since this dealer is no longer OBrian it has really changed and not for the best, at least the service area. The Wonderful young lady that took care of me when you enter the service representative was Wonderful, very caring and very knowledgeable and she intended to what I needed .But the mechanics... thats another story. I asked to rotate my tires which it was time to rotate and the said they didnt have to because the both had the same number or how ever the calculated, its impossible, you know why?Because the front tires were bought about may or June and they were suppose to be the back ones but we decides to rotate the and put the new one in the front. How can they have the same kind of meat(for lack of better word) than the back ones that have been with the car since 2018. The new dealers service department cant even be trusted. And I have been coming here since 2011 and have bought 1 brand new car there when it was OBrian. Im looking for another dealer. I NO LONGER TRUST THEM.

Hyundai of Ft. Myers was a great experience! Kojack was wonderful and he was able to get me into the exact car I wanted and I was able to take their showroom car right off the floor! It was a exhilarating feeling to be in the car I wanted after 2 years of being unhappy with my Dodge Journey and no dealership willing to help me get out of it. Cameron was also amazing and was able to throw in a few extras and get my payments close to where they were with a lower interest rate! I am a proud owner of an intense blue 2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL and let me tell you, she is turning heads! I LOVE the new Elantra design and all the technology it is equipped with. We were professionally approached & taken care of as soon as we entered the showroom, and we couldnt be happier with our salesperson Mark Forest, he kept us informed at every step & made sure we had no unanswered questions while being very pleasant. It states you pay $2,000 for a CERAMIC COATING/ PAINT PROTECTOR.. Well guess what?! There is no trace of it!! We had our car checked out by 3 individual companies.. They’re doing the same scam Ford used to do.

Yesterday was regularly scheduled maintenance for our Hyundai now two years old. She is a wonderful car and we were preparing her for an extended road trip.The service at OBrien is outstanding. We were greeted promptly and introduced to Kyle who oversaw processing of our services and provided a cost estimate.The service was prompt and thorough. Our car was returned to us without any change of our personal preferential settings.Kyle summarized the care and explained the final cost. He was efficient, professional and warm.The lounge area is comfortable and cool! Complimentary beverages are provided and wi-fi is available. This was a pleasant experience overall.
