I have brought all my cars to Firestone since I was 17yo; today was the last day. My literally like-new Jeep Grand Cherokee was having some issues with brake pads. Understandably so, I brought it in because I was metal on metal. Prior to walking into Firestone, I checked the wear on my rotor, but it was smooth, no need to be replaced. Once it was said and all done, I was told you need to replace both rotors, calipers and brake pads. Definitely, I was ripped off, however I had no option as I am in desperate need of my car/SUV. Ohh, did I mention my cars odometer reads only 19990 miles... yea, not even 20k miles.Steer clear of this shop.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this location otherwise I wouldnt have came. I made an appointment for a oil change and my lifetime wheel alignment for 9am. It is now 1pm! Why did it take 4 HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE? Theres no prioritization of appointments or what customers could be handled immediately in a shorter time frame. The front desk person also shown no urgency or initiative on trying to manage time. Plus I can tell the some of the mechanics have no expertise on certain type of vehicles (in my case a Mercedes) otherwise they wouldnt be in the garage scratching their heads when it comes to the reading the dashboard. I only hope nothing is wrong with my vehicle. I will not return to this location ever!

Very accommodating. Fixed tire with nail in a few hours. Honored warranty. Bathroom needs work. Not really dirty...faucet broken,, toilet running, empty trash receptacle.. They are on it. Good tires. Slow leak for maybe months. Never went flat like others have. One star off for bathroom!

I took my car a week prior when I was having tire and alignment issues. They recommended a Tire rod change, new tire and alignment. I took the recommendation and agreed to the repair which was ultimately pricey.A couple days after I returned to have it looked at again because my traction control was picking up slipping on the tire that was worked on.while being in the shop I asked if they can take a look at my Thermostat as my check engine light was reading that issue. Dropped off the car and headed to work to get a call a couple hours later stating that I needed a whole new assembly on my Radiator fan for a total price of $800, on top of them not being able to fix the traction control issue and suggested i head to my dealership, AND that my battery was dead - we had to jump start the car . I turned down the repair and showed up later to pick up the car.After receiving my car the sales stated that it started up no problems, Ive never had a battery issue before this. Looking at the car in the parking lot I could see that they dumped all of the coolant. They left a mess of it and didnt bother to notify me that it was now COMPLETLY empty. I myself Filled this up from AutoZone next door since it was left empty. If I driven on this in hot South Florida I could have OVERHEATED my Motor easily.Today I took it for a second opinion only for the mechanic to say that after every diagnostic they ran they can see NO ISSUES with the thermostat, Fan or assembly. Everything runs fine.These guys just throw anything at you to get your money and if not I have no doubt in my mind they will ruin your car or set you up to ruin you car. I have been a firestone customer for YEARS to see the service is this horrible where you as a customer are made to feel like the problem is disgusting . Avoid this place at all costs.

Wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I had the same experience as many of the other one star reviews.I made an appointment for 12 pm the day prior. I allotted 4 hours for a diagnostic & potential battery replacement on a 2005 Prius as other mechanics had provided a time estimate.Leaving 3.5 hours later with nothing accomplished. Didnt even make into the garage. If you have other plans or use your car for work dont expect to be doing anything else that day.Going to try another Firestone location in Plantation. Never had any issue there thus far.Safe travels.

I was skeptical at 1st looking over the reviews, and I still went there because its close to my house, and boy was I in for a treat! Mario knew my Corvette is too low for the lifts and did everything using a hand jack while talking about high horse power cars, amazing job amazing conversations, Carl helped me out at the register very polite and amazing knowledge about cars as well. The time spent there was awesome my car got new shoes, and now is handling great! Ive learned a thing or two from those boys! Thank you very much Gentleman for such an great experience 🙌

I went to this firestone because I had a big problem with my vehicle, I was very upset. I spoke to the manager by the name of Clerence and he mad my day better. He had great customer service and was very helpful. I lost faith in firstone until he fix and solved all the problems I need. The guys here are nice and they know what they are doing. Thanks to the manager, I will be a loyal customer again.

Typical chain shop.. Close to zero automotive knowledge. Always use the impact gun to put the wheels back on which is a big no no. I wouldn’t even let them work on my bicycle let alone my car, so avoid them at all cost!

I made an appointment a few days ago, for today, at 10am. I have been sitting here waiting for 2½ hours already for them to tell me they are just now starting on my car. What is the point of making an appointment for them to not honor the appointment?! No one watches the front desk, so you literally have to wait until someone comes in from the garage to talk to anyone. Three people that arrive here AFTER me, have left with their cars fixed while Im still waiting. Arturo, the guy I spoke to in regards to my car, seemed not to care about my waiting even though I made an appointment and Yadiel hasnt done anything but eat all day. I will be patroning another place to get my car fixed. This is absolutely unacceptable and now Ive wasted my entire morning waiting on them for 2½ hours to even put my car on the lift.UPDATE: it took them 4½ hours to fix a tire, change a battery and do an oil change AND it cost $309. I brought in a trailer tire to be repaired with a screw in it. They said they could do it and it would be done by the end of the day. I called in the afternoon to get an update, and they said they would call me before they close to pick it up. No Call. I called the next morning 4 hours after they opened and was told they dont repair trailer tires, I was miss spoken to.No communication, Misinformation, and a Waste of Time.

Paid 500 something dollars for two new tires, alignment, and oil change. Car is still shaking when over 65 mph. Was then told I need two more new tires when they are perfectly fine and they never did the oil change I had to inspect the oil myself . I did receive a refund for the oil change but if I didnt check myself I would have been ripped off. I will never be returning back for business to this fire stone.

We made an appointment Sunday , ro to the manger or shop Forman came up with every excuse in the book to not move two tires and do an front-end alignment, so he said he could not make an appointment after 3:30pm🤔 so we made the appointment at the time he wished ! We arrived on time and car after car was brought in that showed up after us while we sat out side until closing time and he made every excuse in the book, this place is very unprofessional and I whatch two vehicles come back and need repairs do to they did not put everything back together the way it was from manufacturer the intended well and air damn was hanging off smh , this is my PSA dont go to this store !

DO NOT get road hazard protection. Biggest scam since hourly internet fees. Get a flat, they NEVER repair the tire. They simply sell you a new one, pro-rated by how much wear is on the old tire, and guess what? Its never pro-rated less than the cost of the road hazard protection. So, basically, you buy a new tire.Total scam, total waste of money.

Tech that worked on my 2020 Audi A6 decided to take a 22min phone break while being the sole tech in the building. I apologize to him for interrupting his phone call and his attitude towards me was horrible. The front desk guys are great. If they only had a good worker they qet the highest score in the world of auto repairs.

Had a 1pm appointment to have two tires installed, an alignment check, and an oil change. They didnt touch my car until 3:30pm. They said it would be ready at 4:30pm. It is now 5:30pm. I wont be back except for my lifetime alignment service.

8am appointment for an oil change and my car is just now being taken in at 9:45!! What is even the point of having an appointment? Horrible!!

Please reconsider going to this place. After a 3 hour wait, they recommended almost $1,200 in repairs to fix a problem. I took the car and did all those repairs at a fifth of the price. It’s a scam. And after all that, the problem was incorrectly diagnosed entirely. Very inexperienced and extortionately overpriced.

Left my car there today at 11 am and only asked them to check the tires Incase I had a nail because my low tire sensor was on and to replace the bulbs in my front headlights because they were out. The customer service rep assured me that it would be done today. I mean come on how hard can that be? At 4pm I hadnt received a phone call, so I took it upon myself to call and they said they haven’t looked at the vehicle yet. I waited till 630pm and decided to head there and while waiting on my Uber I received a phone call from firestone to let me know that they still didn’t get a chance to look at my vehicle. And all I got was, “sorry”. I left it there because it was convenient and close by. Never again. Firestone.... you wasted my day and I hope that people read this review and think twice about leaving it there.

Very friendly staff! They explained very clearly what had to be done and helped me out by giving me a good price since I went to two other mechanics about my air conditioning. Now I have cool AC and a dependable mechanic to go to!

I went to this location on last Sunday, after having a complete flat tire. I was calling everywhere since Friday afternoon, and Del Was the only gentleman to actually hear and listen to me and most importantly get me the tire within an hour. He is the most compassionate employee that I ever had to deal with at a tire store. Being a woman especially, I feel like its harder to get in that respect. He went out of his way for me and I watched him do it for many others. I am a CFO of a business as well, and he definitely deserves to be recognized for his outstanding service

Never a good time to get a screw and a nail in your tire...Arturo at Southland Firestone made getting a replacement tire almost a pleasure! Courteous, Professional, Fast, and with Covid-19 an issue Safe Distancing, Masks, and Hand Sanitizing was greatly appreciated. Came in on 7/13 around 10am, and the guy at the front desk didnt even greet, no smile, just a can I help you without even looking up. I explained my situation that I had just come from a cruise and found the car with a flat in the parking, and had to drive back to Orlando with the family so I needed a fix for a flat...he told me it would be a 2hr wait (which I understood) so I ask if there was anything he could do for us to get it done before to which he very sarcastic replied what? Put you in front of people that are already waiting, I cant do that... Is not what you say is how you say it . He showed no empathy, at all! I dont care if he couldnt do anything for me but just at least be empathetic and say maam I know you are in a though position, but at this moment we really cant, Im really sorry I cant be of more help ... I hope he reads this and learns what customer service is... If he at least wouldve shown empathy, I would have said I understand, thank you and I wouldnt have written this review. I go to the Firestone in my town all the time, and they are amazing there.. this guys was just not friendly at all, I hope he was just having a bad day and he doesnt treat his customers like that all the time.

I understand that Saturday is busy day and theres a lot to get done...That being said, upon arrival the guy on the reception desk was on the phone for 10 minutes (completely understandable) but then still needed to spend time checking and responding to his text messages before acknowledging I was waiting.Then an alignment and balance took 2.5 hours. Thats utterly ridiculous.At least the price was semi reasonable

The only reason this review is getting the stars it is is because of the customer service from Del (Delroy).I dropped my car off at 12 PM and I returned when the place was closing at 7PM to be told that my car was not even worked on yet.(I needed a tire rotation and oil change).To be fair, the gentleman that I dropped my car off with did tell me it would be towards the end of the day that the car would be done, but they close at 7 PM and my car not going up until 7:15 PM was not (towards the end of the day.Del apologized and was very accommodating with the price after this all happened and even shared a spiritual story with me.I have been taking my car here for years and have never had this experience, so I am hoping they step it up and if they are backed up, not to take your car that day and set an appointment.

Radiator blew up and had no choice but to stop here. Crazy expensive and over priced. Paid $249 bucks for a radiator I could have gotten on my own next door to them for $100. What a markup and labor was even more outrageous. Never will be back there again.

I made a 10 o’clock appointment for a simple oil change. I arrived on time as courtesy would expect. My vehicle didn’t even get pulled into the bay until 77 minutes later. The mechanic didn’t even start working on my car for another 20 minutes after that. The woman who walked in 15 minutes after I did, who didn’t have an appointment, got an oil change and full inspection. She was done well before I was. What’s the use of making an appointment if it isn’t going to be honored? 2.5 hrs later for a simple oil change. Terrible customer service.

I scheduled a 9am appointment. There were 2 people in the waiting area. At 10:30 my car was finally on the lift. At 12:00 my car was done. All I was there for was an oil change and time rotation. If theres a next time Ill be a walk in. They get served before appointments.

My elderly mom just went in for an oil change and the mechanic informed her she needed a new battery or she would surely get stuck with the car, thank goodness she called me and Imagine we just put a brand new battery in the car 2 months ago!! Shame on this firestone for taking advantage of an elderly woman there alone! I will be reporting to the better business bureau! They should be ashamed

I’m sorry but it’s a horrible experience. I’ve been there about 4 times and every time when I have to drop off a car for oil change it takes forever, the only way to make them take care of the car faster is to sit inside and annoy them by checking if they started your car. Otherwise if you drop the car and leave, be ready that it will take from 4 hours and up.

You guys tell me what my rating should be:1. I bring my S10 to find out why is running rough and to get fixed.2. Tells me they are going to have to charge 99 just for looking.3. Later comes back and tells me that a water hose is leaking onto one of the plugs and wires. But that i should replace the radiator also AND all plugs and all wires.4. I then tell him that I dont have enough money for all that that I just need the immediate problem fixed which is the one plug and the one wire and the actual leaky hose that was causing it.5. They refuse to fix just the immediate need and want me to spend a thousand bucks on fixing all the stuff that doesnt have an immediate need .6. I asked him kindly to please fix the immediate need he said nope... he refused to fix a partial repair ...Are we living in the twilight zone or something? If this is the type of business practices that Firestone has now? never going to be able to come here again and now I still dont have the problem fixed. There is absolutely positively no immediate need to fix all the other plugs and wires and the radiator right now

If you enjoy having your vehicle blatantly damaged and then called a liar by the Service Writer then this is the place for you! The tech assigned to work on my vehicle was clearly not skilled enough to handle the wheels and tires on my Jeep and damaged my wheels in multiple places and also gashed my tire in the process. When I brought it to Robert the Service Writers attention he was quick to deny and point blame at me. Robert handled the situation as poorly as possible and ended with a shouting match in the parking lot. The level of service here could not have been worse and there was zero remorse or ownership to the damage done. I rarely leave reviews but if I can save one person the headache or frustration of dealing with Robert or his team then my time here was well spent.

I had a 9:30 appointment and waited for an hour and 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, and they still hadn’t started it. The guy said it was because my van was too tall, and could only be put on one lift, but they just put a new car (they guy sitting next to me, who had a 10:30 appointment) on the same lift they used last time for my oil change and alignment. So I’m 99% sure that was just a lie.

Terrible Experience and not the first time either. Schedule a diagnostic at 11am. Diagnostics should be a 5 minute routine but this ended up taking until 6pm. I get in my car while they are closing and turns out they broke my emergency brake. I have to leave my car another night for the mechanic to get back the next day🙃

I drive for a living, so I need to be able to trust my vehicle to people who will keep me going strong. I trust Firestone because they are fair and honest. The Firestone at 903 W. State Rd. 84 in the Fort Lauderdale has provided me with exceptional customer service throughout the years. All of the technicians are knowledgeable, Chris, Marco, and Freddy have all shown that they provide the best service possible.

Four days prior to my visit to Firestone, I had a blow out in the expressway on my way to the Ft. Lauderdale airport from Miami. I had 6 people with me in the car. Fortunately, I was able to put the spare. The parking garage where I left my car had the blown out tire replaced but did not notice that the other back tire was also about to go. When I got back, I realized I was not able to go home in that condition and that riding with so many people the distance we had to go with a spare was not a good idea.It was Sunday and 4:30 PM. All the tire shops around were closed or about to close. I found the nearest Firestone about a mile from the garage. I noticed that they closed at 5 PM. This was our only chance to get our tire replaced and get home safely. We were all exhausted.When I got to the store, Frank M. was at the desk. I explained the situation. He looked up my Firestone record and looked to see if the store carried the tires. Unfortunately, the store did not have the exact tires, but they had a similar one that would work. The shop was about to close and all of the techs were working. Frank M. calmly and graciously stated that he would help us out and that he, himself, would change the tire and get us back on the road. He did so and in 30 minutes we were out of the shop on our way home, feeling relived that we were travelling safely.I know that this young man could have said that they were too busy or basically say that they did not have the tire and have me out of their shop in order to get me out of the way. Instead, he took his time, worked to find the tire, and then went the extra mile by changing it himself.Im grateful for such service and care. I highly recommend this shop.

Be aware of this place I took my wife Audi Q5 to replace the battery ,they put a new one in and not sure what they messed up it end up costing me $1200 2 days later for a new starter !!!!Today o called them to get a estimate on new front wheel bearings for my VW mini van the dude on phone was like its gonna be $1,1000 !!! Find out just now parts cost 80$ on Amazon and labor $150 !!!! This place was trying to get me for another $800 I guess !!!! Stay away far away from this place

We had Alternator and Brake line repair of our Subaru at Firestone. We chose this Auto Repair Center for its convenience and were keeping our fingers crossed that we would not be ripped off. I had checked online to get estimates for the repair cost of each issue. Firestones Service Representative, Danny, called us with a specific diagnosis after inspecting the vehicle. We were given a fair quote for repair. Although it took an extra day to get a needed Subaru part on a Saturday, I still recommend this facility. Friendly, Professional and HONEST.

Not a good place bad service!

This facility is conveniently off SR 84 behind the Dunkin Donut which youll be visiting if you decided to wait for your vehicle. Waiting is the key word. Firestone is like a space time anomaly where time slows to a crawl. You wait, & wait, & wait, .......💤. Slim parking, but you can also park in the plazas general parking area. Back to the Dunkin Donuts, friendly folks, lots of calories if youre not careful.....& wait....& wait.

Always very helpful and fair. Let me go talk with my husband before fixing anything that he can likely fix on his own. Helped calm me down after a huge wreck. Forever grateful to these guys.

I am changing my review from 5 to 1. I have been going to this store for 15 years and have bought a lot of tires. Today i go in with my challenger and one of the reps Wayne assisted me. He walked out to my car and i told him i want to put the next size wider tires on the back to improve traction. Wayne told me they only sell tires the same size thats on the car!!! well i have changed sizes every time i bring a vehicle in. I believe he was just to lazy to do a small amount of research. I will be going to OK Tires from now on.

As most of the reviews stated, they are very slow so if you are expecting any work done on your car clear your schedule for that day. Took around 2-3hrs for a tired change i could have done myself in far less time if it wasnt my companies car.

Bought 4 tires in 2018 at a buy 3 AMD get 1 free AMD the tires leaked after 8 months. And, they messed up my tire pressure sensors. After 3 visits to reset the sensors they couldnt and referred me to my dealer.Yesterday I replaced those 4 tires at the Pep boys on Stirling Rd Fort Laduerdale and the same special was less expensive, better tires, and the reset my sensors. Excellent service Pepboys! Im divorcing Firestone.

I found a coupon but it takes more then that to lure me into a mechanic shop especially when Ive always used my usual spot. I read the reviews an they were All very positive which is rare for most businesses especially an auto repair facility. Took my truck into the shop they honored the coupon explained other issues with the car for my knowledge an was charged exactly what discount coupon said an with a smile. Great service felt they were honest and curtious. Will definalty give them an recommend them to others as an honest straight automotive repair shop.

Avoid, avoid, avoid......the lack of professionalism and respect for your time is inmensurable. Was able to get my money back for an incomplete inspection requested (and paid for) not before spending more money and wasted 4 hours of my time because of them. To this time of day, not even an apology. Would not recommend at all

Please avoid at all costs!!!! These guys are the cliche scumbag mechanics that are out to rip you off. They broke a sensor in my tire that magically was attached 3 months ago when I went to dealership yet now was rolling around in the tire according to them. When I ask how does the metal casing just snapped apart without someone breaking it off considering no accident had occurred the scamming mechanic responseds with “how would you know it wasn’t broke before?” That is customer service to these people. They had already created suspicion when at the start of my visit they added on numerous fees and warranties. They attempted to have me sign for this with no explanation that these charges were additional and not required. It doesn’t take a genius to recognize that all these chain shops have add ons that people will blindly sign off and pay for but the majority of the time are just simple money makers for the repair shop. On top of that these guys love to give over the top brutal scenarios as to why you need these unethical charges added on. Don’t blindly throw away your money and by all means avoid these scumbags.

Watered down my radiator change with water...instead of anti freeze.My car was damaged and a risk; Other than that it was perfect and I wwas heartbroken to replace it. Bridgestone offered. . .after 6 months for a radiator flush. It took 5 month to deand and get the scienticinspection. The truth is known.They had changed management😰

Customer service/interaction unpleasant, abrupt, rushed, insensitive.

This asshat wanted me to pay 109$$ for tire rotation and balance, I have a lifetime tire and balance I purchased when I got my tires. I will never do business with Firestone again

I dont understand the negative reviews, weve been bringing our vehicles (personal and work) to these guys for over 10 years - I find they are HONEST (they dont tell me I need 10 things done when I come in for an oil change) - they only tell me what GENUINELY needs to be done - if my brake pads are wearing out, theyll tell me hey, you probably got a couple more months left, so you dont HAVE to do it today, but we advise in the next three months - or if my tire tread is low, theyll say - you need something in 3 months - they dont say HEY you really SHOULD do this TODAY and well give you a GREAT deal (i.e. high pressure sales tactics - I hate that) - which is why I trust them 100%. Other mechanics say - YOUR BRAKES ARE ALMOST GONE - YOU GOTTA GET IT DONE TODAY! And then I find out I had 45% left on the brakes. I hate that, being duped - so thats why unless I have absolutely no choice (i.e. car broken down in Miami), I always come to Firestone. And when they do repairs, they stand behind them - other mechanics have done work on a vehicle, after a month it has to be done again, and then Ill find out it was a used part instead of a new one (Id paid for a new one) - and then I have to pay to get it done again. This never happens with these guys at Firestone. so if Im going to take my vehicles anywhere, its going to be to these guys. Sure, sometimes theyre a little backed up and may take a couple of hours longer - but they ALWAYS tell me up front how long it will be - making an appointment definitely helps. They dont say sure, we can get it done in 45 minutes and then theyre still working on it 3 hours later - theyll say hey, were pretty backed up, we can probably get it done in an hour and a half - and then I know if I want to get them to do it. They dont over promise and under deliver, they deliver what they promise - and its not just from one vehicle and an occasional visit - this is from over 10 years and probably 7 or 8 vehicles that they have taken care of. I know that if I bring my vehicle here, the job will be done RIGHT, and it wont be some unnecessary job or scam for them just to bilk me out of some money. These guys are the best. When I do go to them for new tires etc., they will give me a really good price - extremely competitive. Im glad Anthony the manager is back, hes super efficient and always makes sure the job gets done right. Another thing - the location is good - there are lots of shops (Winn Dixie, Bealls, Dunkin Donuts, Mini Pita (great breakfasts if youre doing an early visit)) - the bike shop - lots of places to kill some time while you wait. But we really like how they treat us, prices are competitive, but you know the parts will be NEW (not used), and that the job will be done right - and if you have any problems, you know they will make it right. Im not being paid for this review, I dont benefit from this in any way, they wont even know who I am as this email address isnt the one they have on file - I just know how hard it is to find honest mechanics, and these guys are worth writing a review about. Thanks guys, your customers appreciate you.
