Mavis tire used to be my go to place. The service is good and the staff friendly. However on my last visit, I had a nail in my tire and asked them to fix it. After putting the car in the lift I was told that the puncture couldn’t be fixed because the nail was too big and I would need a new tire. Of course it was suggested that I buy four new tires as mine were half life.This didn’t sit well with me because the nail looked like a normal nail. Went to a tire place down the road and the fixed it with no issue. 500 miles later the tire is still fine. So now I’m skeptical of their judgment at Mavis.

Impromptu visit. I had a screw in my tire. I was greeted by 3 extremely nice men, who immediately looked at my tire and water tested to see if air was coming out. It was. The manager came out and quoted me $40 to patch. Ugh, but what are you going to do? It is what it is. They were done in less than 15 min. It was pouring rain out, and they drove my car to the entrance where I would not get wet. This is my 3-4 visit to this location. It’s always been a good experience. And I would highly recommend it.

Tom and Jerry run such a good operation I had to give them praise on here. I went to Mavis twice to plug my tires when I had a hole in them and they did a quick and great job. Finally when it came time to replace all 4 they had them ordered and on site in less than 24 hrs. WIthin 90 minutes the new tires were on and I was out the door. HIGHLY recommend this place.

Mavis Tire, near the Coral Ridge mall, is absolutely the most trustworthy, friendly, helpful place to go for tires, oil changes, brake jobs, and more, even just a nail in a tire. They offer a “free air” machine in the front of the store in case you just need to pump up your tires! Tom and Jerry, the two managers, couldn’t offer better customer service if they tried, and couldn’t be more real and nice and knowledgeable and helpful in getting your problems solved in an expeditious, cost efficient, and pleasant way!!!!!!!!!!

I have taken my car to Mavis locations five times.Every single time there is a problem. Four of those five visits were because I had to return due to the fact that Mavis did the work and I could not afford to pay someone else to redo their work. This last time I hoped for better, but did not get it. I paid for four new tires and drove my car home at 45 miles per hour.On Monday morning while trying to get up to speed on the interstate the whole car was vibrating so bad it scared me. I called in and the guy said, it’s not a brand new car, what do you expect. If you bring it back and it’s a balancing issue we will fix it. But I can’t promise you anything. WOW!!! The car is a lease with 19,000 miles and only driven to and from work.Please for your own good, stay away.

I am from Texas down here working a power plant project. Was skeptical on where to take my truck for tires. I googled tire shops and Mavis came up as the closest near me. There ratings were good so there I went. I had an awesome experience... the guys at the counter was very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. In the process of changing my tires they caught the fact that I needed brakes also. Great upsale guys. I will definitely be back for more service. I had two tires and my oil changed at Mavis Tires, I believe I was helped by a young man named Lucas and a young man called MJ ! He was super quick and efficient! They had me out of there in 25 mins! Super friendly and attentive staff! They also went out of their way to fix my brake light that had a bad connection and I didn’t even notice! Definetly recommend, 10/10 !

I went to this store to solve a problem with a low tire pressure instrument panel warning. I had filled all four tires up but the error light was still on. They found the problem was the spare tire. Fast and exceptional customer service. They will have all my tire business.

I went in to repair a tire with a nail. Tom was genuine, efficient and knowledgeable. This place is the deal guys! They have others (mechanicians)in the back and no one is trying to upsell anyone here. They even straightened the rim at no cost to me! Very friendly service. What a joke of a company. I live 45 minutes from this location. I called the one near my house and said that this location has a tire In stock. I take the 45 minute hike to get my tire and arrive to an empty store with guys sitting around on their phones and smoking. Only to find out that they didnt have the tire in stock. Thank you for the monumental waste of time.

This company likes to take ADVANTAGE of FEMALES,DISABLED, & ELDERLY PEOPLE SICKENING! So if you fall under that category be prepared for them to charge u $400 just for labor, keep ur vehicle all day & after they do all that they will give you your vehicle with the same problem or even worse so that way you will have to come back in. Please do not waste your time these are not the same people who once owned the shop

I plugged my tire the other day . But unfortunately it had a slow leak still in it. Jerry and the guys got me in on Friday afternoon with a quick turnaround. They even had treats for my dog that was with me. I highly recommend them. I’m very pleased with there work.

The worst car place my family has ever gone to . Do not waste your time going here they over price everything and tell u ur getting a 10% discount so by the end you’ll have a $900 fee and half of it goes towards labor. They love to take advantage and waste peoples time so you will have to go back . If u see 5 star reviews on this place they’re more than likely coming from someone who was paid by this company

I usually work on my cars and I’m hesitant to let people touch them. These guys were able to fix an ongoing issue with my noisy adaptive damper system even after I personally installed new dampers. Car rides like new again.

I was attempting some work installing an after-market item in my Jeep. The installation required me to unbolt the driver’s seat from the frame. The two large bolts were frozen in place as they were 8 years old. I did not have a large enough or strong enough tool to loosen the bolts and I had come to a stand-still. I went to Mavis Tire and brakes which is two blocks from my home. I asked if there was anyway they could help me with this problem. Without hesitation, the gentlemen working behind the counter advised me that they would help. They assigned a mechanic and he removed the bolts pronto! NO CHARGE!! I provided him with a tip in appreciation and was in my way. Thanks very much! Nice to have Mavis for a neighbor. Please visit them for tired and braked as a continuing thank you.

I went in to repair a tire with a nail. Found out my wheel lock was missing. They were super understanding. Car came off the lift and was back a few days later with new lock from dealer. They repaired the subject tire but found another tire with a nail and repaired that as well. Thanks for checking Guys! They repaired both! Super friendly, efficient and clean. I’ll be back!

Aside from the $2000 bill it was a great experience I was even taken back into the shop so they could show me what was wrong with my truck. Honesty and good customer service I’ll be a returning customer ! PS I also checked prices online and they didn’t even up charge that much on parts.

We were in town for car repairs when it was brought to our attention that we needed 2 front tires. We called talked to Jerry and thankfully Mavis had 2 in stock that fit our car. We came in and Tom and Jerry gave us great costumer service. The mechanics were friendly and helpful as well. I also must celebrate the clean waiting area as well as the clean restroom.

I recently had slow tire leak and Mavis and Tom took great care of my vehicle with great service and speed. Furthermore, they did a full check on all my other tires to see if there were any other issues and nothing at that time. This morning I experienced another flat and took it to them and they are going to have it done before COB. I have recommended this Mavis location to others in the area.
