If you want to be taken advantage of, come to Gunther Volkswagen. My girlfriend came in for a new tire and lug nut and ended up getting charged $460. The team here along with the manager prey on young women who don’t know any better and upcharged for items she didn’t request. When I brought it to the manager’s attention, he refused to acknowledge how his team took advantage of her. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere when searching for a new car or service center.

Completely dissatisfied!!! I had a 9am appointment and after being told my service advisor didn’t show up to work they said someone else would be right over to take care of my car. Nobody came and after 40 minutes of waiting and watching them take care of customers who came in after me I decided to leave. Definitely would never recommend

This couldn’t be more of a smoother process. We were looking for months for a new vehicle and couldn’t get any dealership to be transparent or communicative with us. I actually purchased my VW Atlas at the Coconut Creek location. I have been terribly disappointed in their service department. I’m talking unbelievably poor customer service. On my first service there they had my car for 8 hrs and when I picked it up the check engine light was on. I kid you not. From the time that I actually called the Fort Lauderdale location until the end it was an exceptional experience. From the receptionist and to Cliff, the service manager, who I had the pleasure of working with. I will be driving the 30 mins vs 10 from Coral Springs to the Ft. Lauderdale location from now on. My car is currently with their service team.My advisor is Robert Milton. Since dropping off the car, I was told I would receive a call/ update if the car would be sleeping overnight in their possession. I have not received a call all day, I have text the number they provide plus called. I talked to a different service advisor that says he will tell Robert to call me, because I don’t know how far or what else is needed or if the car will sleep over, it is now 6:29pm 7/12/2021The service area closed at 6pmNo call no nothing. Very untrustworthy, basically lied about keeping me updated. And this advisor do not answer calls or text at all. Very disappointed, I hope to see my car in the morning when I arrive and in good condition as I left it. After calling again, same advisor that do not belong to my car, because rob do not answer. He says well jeez Robert still haven’t called you yet, he told me to speak to a manager, so I guess tomorrow when I go in, a manager will be there. calling a paying customer about their car should not be difficult, especially when it will not be done same day. its the principle.

I brought my car in for maintenance and to address a warning light problem. The car was diagnosed with a multitude of issues that were completed, but the original problem was not completed and now I am told that I have to bring it back and pay another diagnostic fee for something that should have been done initially. I feel the service here has deteriorated from when I first started going here.

My experience was great! Jodi was my salesperson and she made the entire process smooth, pleasant, and fast. She had everything ready before I even got there and with the right price and product I was looking for. Although she works at the Mazda store, she was able to sell me a new Vw atlas. My advice to anyone is to go see Jodi at the Mazda store at Gunther Fort Lauderdale for any Mazda, Vw, Kia. She’s great! Fast! And no nonsense! Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

There has been major improvements in customer service since my last visit. Last year I was a bit disappointed and almost didn’t return but this visit has changed things. I really enjoyed receiving a video of the inspection, brought a sense of ease and trust through the process.

Gunther does not deserve any stars. 2 months after leasing a brand new Volkswagen Tiguan I started having car trouble. Since I’ve had my car, it has spent almost 2 months in service. Gunther has not tried to make it right by me so I had to go the legal route - to label my car a “lemon.” My car was to go in for an inspection which was to take 2 hours. Clifton Clarke, the service manager who was to be in charge of my appointment recommended a loaner, since he said the inspection might take 3-4 days. We’ll, my car spent 2 weeks in service! I called Clifton, left him messages with other staff, left voicemails and did not receive a call back until 4 days later. When he finally reached out he said my car will be ready by the end of the day. Except, I did not receive a call back once again. My car wasn’t ready til the following week! When I finally came to pick up my car Clifton did not come meet me to hand me any paperwork or communicate what was done. When I went to ask for my keys I was told he left them in my car. Even the employee at the front desk said that’s weird, they don’t normally do that. Gunther has been a terrible experience overall and Clifton certainly did not help. Stay away from Gunter Volkswagen!

Overall I’d say it was a good experience I had Juan Fernandez help me with all the paper work and getting up to date info on my car he definitely did a great job called me and kept me up to date gave me a date when it would be done definitely best collision center receptionist I’ve ever had forsure my car was ready in 2 weeks which to me wasn’t too bad I had my mustang gt in the shop for a hole month for ford the 2 big problem I had was there was a huge scratch on the back of my steering wheel thankfully it was on the back side I could still feel it clearly though not sure how that happens and also on my right fender not the one that was damaged bad a big scratch on the side not too noticeable but when cleaned it is was very upset about that but as for the repairs looks great and drives even better just wish they would have been more careful but if you do end up going take pictures of your car and definitely ask for Juan Fernandez really helps you get an idea of what’s going on with the car

I went on a vacation from NJ to Fort Lauderdale FL. Rented a 2021 VW Atlas Cross-Sport. I enjoyed the spacious driving experience so much, I went to Gunther VW where I met a enthusiastic VW rep named Tomas. I leased a 2021 Atlas Cross-Over SEL and returned back to NJ awaiting my delivery. I left FL on 8.17.2021 and received the Atlas in 5 days. Your location of course will vary. It was a good experience and would do it again.

I was hesitant at first stopping there,I felt that the cars were out of my price range. I had a great salesman and when I told him my price point, he stayed within range with no pressure. I walked out with a beautiful VW Jetta. They had all the paperwork I needed available, the car fax showed 1 owner no accidents. I have bumper to bumper coverage for 6 years. I know that I will be very happy for a long time with my purchase.I had to come back for a recall, there seemed to be some problem with the emission system. My service manager Jamie ,kept me up to date with the progress. They finished up, washed my car and I was ready to go. All of my experiences have been very positive. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new or used Volkswagen.

These guys over at Gunther took over 2 hours to do an oil change for me, they have no sense of Urgency. I’m not a mechanic but I know it doesn’t take over two hours for an oil change, I had a 11:30am appointment and left at 1:50pm. Take your money somewhere else guys.

My second lease here. The vehicles were fine and so was service. Tried to buy both of my leases. First car, they charged dealership fees after I paid it when signing the lease. Second car they charged me dealership fees and $1200 to change 2 tires, breaks, oil change and stamp it with a 2 yr preowned warranty on it. The vehicle has low mileage and I dont need it cpod. VW credit says cpoing it is not their requirement and said it is not necessary. VW credit does not have a seller license so you cant buy from them. When taking it as a trade for a new vehicle, VW credit issued a dealer to dealer purchase fee of $22k! , $10K over vehicle residual value. For all educated people go out of town to buy your VW that you love. You will be treated with educated respect. That is the real way I am sure VW envisioned their customer relations.

Service was great.. however Im given 3 starts because they always be over charging with the labor cost.. I recently went to goodyear to get a waterpump replace on my VW, but I was told that they couldnt do it, that I had to take to the dealer.. I ask the guy if he could give an estimate at least to have an idea what Im against.. estimate was almost $800... labor cost itself was a little over $400.. the dealer charged me almost $700 only in labor not including the car parts... I understand that going to a dealer is going to be expensive, but shoot.. twice the amount on labor... come on.. its funny how goodyear had the amount almost down to the T with the car parts cost.. the labor is what kills you..

Gunther of Ft. Lauderdale has absolutely impeccable customer service. Was having an issue with my car for over 4 years that no one could fix. My cars transmission would intermittently drop into safe mode/limp mode making it extremely dangerous to drive. After $7000 and at my wits end, I finally was able to get in contact with an executive at Volkswagen corporate (an angel) who suggested I see the service manager at Gunther Volkswagen of Ft. Lauderdale. To make a long story short (to late lol) the service manager and the magicians at this fine establishment came to my aid and finally, after all the blood sweat and tears, fixed my car. Not only where they able to repair my car but they did it with compassion and understanding while being incredibly sweet every step of the way. They restored my faith in Volkswagen and now my car is safe and a pleasure to drive. They went above and beyond to make sure they did what other repair shops failed to do. Thank you Gunther of Ft Lauderdale for making the impossible possible. Sincerely...a grateful and satisfied customer who plans on returning in the future :)

A dealership that actually means what they say and stands by their word!I came from another line of vehicles altogether. Had been a loyal customer with them for 12+ years ... and always had to “hassle” with them every single time it came time for me to turn in my lease and/or anytime I was interested in another vehicle. Did they get the job done? Yes. But it always came with the back and forth (sometimes for weeks) and then hours upon hours of waiting at the dealership for them to complete the deal.I’ve heard of Gunther many times & I was interested in their Tiguan. I’m a new mom and I needed the extra room but more importantly I didn’t have the extra time to waste with the back and forth. Sabrina was AMAZING (truly). She understood our needs and literally got right down to business.She ran the numbers and did NOT waste our time with the back and forth. She gave us her best price and truly it was the best. I was so impressed.We came in for them to inspect our trade in and she told us it would take 20 minutes. Well, it took 15. I called a second time and got a knowledgeable call agent that knew exactly how long it may take and offered information about the shuttle service which I did not know about and ultimately used.Overall excellent service!! Perfect service from the beginning to end. Daniel was seamless. They shuttled me too and from dealership. They sent me a video of what’s wrong with the car. They fixed everything perfectly and cleaned the car. You pay more when you go to dealership but the service, experience and confidence you have in the job they are doing is very different from a local mechanic.

I had previously gone to another VW dealership in Coral Gables. But the quality of service and the questionable repairs was an issue. So I set an appointment with service agent Rob Milton. Rob called me within 30 minutes to find out what the issue. He was very professional, diligent and extremely knowledgeable.The moment I arrived for my appointment I felt immediately at ease. The staff move things along in a very efficient manner. Once we located the issue with my car, Rob explain to me in detail and even brought me to service department to show me the exact work that was needed. Never have I experienced that.Rob also advised me on certain things that I should be doing to maintain the longevity to my car, I observed that Rob was like that with all his customers.
