I overcharged my AC last night - I wouldn’t recommend doing that ever again - and my AC compressor wasn’t staying on. Fearing that I did some major damage I drove to Atlantic Auto repair as soon as they opened today. It’s a very busy shop but Steve took my car in without an appointment and had the AC working in under an hour. The price was extremely reasonable and Steve couldn’t have been nicer. Highly recommend and very grateful for the fast and efficient service.

Fixed our car air conditioner for approximately $1,000. cheaper/less than the dealer. Steve was very informative, helpful, knowledgeable and did a good job. Thank you!

The AC in my car wasn’t blowing cold. in South Florida AC isn’t a luxury, it is a necessity. so i had to find a place to take it and get it checked. my first step was Google. i live in Fort Lauderdale. there are a ton of repair shops in the area... so how do you choose?? i looked for a shop that had really good reviews. that is how i found Atlantic Auto Repair. i pulled in without an appointment. i went into the office, and that is where i met Steve. i explained what was going on with my air, and then he popped outside to take a look it. on a side note Steve’s personal automobile is a 2001 Toyota Avalon. it was parked out front next door. in our conversation he told me about it, and i went to take a look at it. you’re probably thinking, “what in the heck does this have to do with my repair?”the short answer is, nothing. but the longer answer is... that 2001 Toyota was immaculate. 20 years old and you would think it was only a couple of years old. clearly the owner of that car must have incredible attention to detail, and they took amazing care of it. i think that sums up Steve in a nut shell. i felt completely comfortable with the whole experience, and i left with my AC blowing as cold as it ever has.trying to find a mechanic that you can trust totally sucks. eliminate the guesswork and take your car to Atlantic Auto Repair. you will be in good hands.

I came in early one morning without an appointment for an A/C recharge, and was taken care of immediately in a friendly and professional manner. I drive my car down to Florida each winter and back up north in the spring. Now I have confidence that I have a place in the area that I can trust to bring my car for any future needs.

Recently drove down to FL from Ottawa, Canada only to realize that my AC was no longer functioning. As I don’t know any mechanics in FLL, I quickly searched Google maps and relied on the reviews. I took my car in because of ac problems and needed a oil change they finished the very same day, the prices were very reasonable and they fixed my leak and and my shield underneath my car and ordered caps for my ac line which I was missing so I do appreciate for them for taking that step for me. I was referred to Atlantic Auto Repair by a friend in 2008 when the AC stopped working in my Corvette. I dropped it off and with in the hour I got a phone call that it had already been diagnosed. They had it fixed the same day and i’ve been a customer since. When you talk with them you get the feeling that they aren’t just guys working on cars, they are car enthusiast. They seem to be able to fix just about anything. They have repaired my Ford Diesel trucks several times as well as my highly modified supercharged Corvettes. Its not uncommon to see beautiful classic cars being cared for in their shop. I recommend them to everyone.

Totally recommend! This guys fixed my a/c for only $257 when Tire Plus quoted $ 2,300. Plus Steven only took 20 mins to check my car and Tire Plus took close to 2 hours! This is a place you can expect great service.

Yesterday Something fell off a truck on the i95 & destroyed my bumper and grills, so I took my car into My Fav Mechanics at Atlantic Auto Repair. Steve & his mechanics were so friendly and helpful that I was able to Exhale; when they said that they would wrap it up for me and it would be safe to drive, until I made it safely to my Autobody Shop.
