All I can say is call them if you need any HVAC work done. This company is amazing! What a professional friendly company to work with. My wall unit air conditioner was not working correctly so I had A star come look at it. Long story short the original company that installed it (a very large AC company that we’ve had multiple bad experiences with) installed it backwards so it took a toll on the AC and caused it to die sooner than it should have. They installed a brand new AC at a fair price and in a very timely manner. It’s working like a dream I’m so happy with it. One of the head technicians even came to inspect it after the job was done to make sure everything went well. I never once had any type of follow up from the other large company we had used in the past. I also had A star clean the coils on our large AC and it was also a great experience. What I’ve learned from this whole thing is please give the smaller companies a try. Just because a company is large and advertises on bill boards doesn’t mean they employ skilled technicians or truly care about what they are doing. A star ticks all the boxes and then some. I won’t ever call another AC company again now that I know how wonderful A star is. Please take my advice and don’t hesitate to call them for all your HVAC needs. Thank you A star!

Just had an awesome experience with Filip and Monica from “A Star Air Conditioning”. They were very friendly and comforting from the get go. Monica got on it right away and in minutes I knew a tech would be here “today”. Just MINUTES after that, I received a call from Filip that he would be here in 10 minutes.Filip arrived on scene with some tools in hand, courteous, clean and very professional looking. Filip took the time to narrate and show me everything he was doing and what he was seeing in a way that I could understand. His approach put me at ease immediately. No up-sell, no pushiness just facts and thoroughly answered questions.Filip cleared up clogged lines and did a full inspection on the system. AC was back up in no time and we are good to go. Filip also kept everything clean and tidy. You wouldn’t be able to tell anybody was in there working. The unit is very old and eventually will need to be replaced. Tech came on time for diagnostics. Were charged OT (double) for after hours but that was not communicated with owner but discussed with renter. Quote came out too expensive compared to other quote. Not anywhere close. Had to go with other guy.

Excellent service all around. My A/C went out in the middle of the night (do they ever go out in the daytime?). I called A Star early the next day. The lady who answered was knowledgeable and helpful. I told her my situation. She called me back within 10 minutes to tell me the technician would be at my place between 1 and 4 and would call me first. He called and arrived about 2:30. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a quite reasonable price to fix it. I agreed. He went toward and with half an hour I had cool air again. Totally professional. Great service.After that I bought a new system from A Star. They did such a good job and gave me such good support that I have since moved into a townhouse that had an aging, slightly undersized AC. A Star put in a new system a a good price. Im cool and comfortable through this unusually hot South Florida summer.I recommend A Star whenever anybody asks me about AC companies.Since then I have moved and bought a new AC from A Star. Once again it was excellent service throughout the entire process. I always recommend them to friends and neighbors They always provide excellent service at a reasonable price.

I called them in the morning and by the afternoon, it was fixed. In less than an hour at that. Pricing is reasonable. The technician was professional and efficient.

A buddy of mine recommended this company for AC repairs, so I called them up when my AC stopped working last year. It was late summer, so it was hot. They were very friendly and very knowledgeable. I called A Star Air Conditioning toward the end of the day on a Wednesday, and they came out on Thursday. The technician quickly figured out what was wrong (it turned out to be an inexpensive part, thankfully), and within an hour or so my AC was working again. I definitely recommend this company!

With the exception of one problem that has been identified and given a permanent fix, the A/C works perfectly. The price was reasonable and the technical assistance has been above par.

I called on a Sunday because my outside unit fan stopped working. They came out same day, very polite and professional. However, the replacement fan was apparently wired incorrectly by the tech and the unit, which was a 2 stage unit started seizing when it went into low gear. I called and that same day at 8pm, which I found amazing, the tech came out but found nothing wrong. then entire night the inside unit made these loud hissing noises and was unable to reach temperature. I again called in the am and another tech came by noon with the correct fan motor, replaced it properly and the a/c worked fine. Pricing was a bit high including the $120 fee for Sunday work. I just wish the first tech would have been as informed as the second tech so that my family and I would not have had a terrible Sunday night.

I was able to get a same day appointment for our A/C that wasnt cooling properly. The tech called 15 minutes ahead to let me know he was on his way and showed up on time and was knowledgeable and courtious. He had a younger helper/trainee with him and it was awesome to see someone getting on the jib training.He was able to repair the issue and here we are a week later still enjoying our nice and cool home.Thank you !

Unfortunately, my feed back with regards.to the latest service calls are not in a positive light. After several visits to troubleshoot my A.C. problem the issue wasnt solved but I was sold a new circuit board which was supposed to fix the issue. It didnt. I called the office as instructed and left a message with the office manager but never received a call back for follow up. This was quite frustrating and since A star was my service provider for at east 5 years I felt ignored and neglected because of my.a.c. issue was more complicated and required ongoing service calls. In any even I ended up replacing the unit with a different company and still have the unneeded circuit board which cost over $ 400. Other than that my past experiences were very good and servicemen were always polite and professional. Its unfortunate that I had to go with another company for the replacement. This is the first time A star failed me. But not receiving the call back was the reason for the switch.

I recently had A Star AC perform a pre-season service to our Ductless Mini Split AC units. I am really pleased with their service, from their office staff and service technicians. I had a broken A/C. A service guy came the same day at 6:30pm, few hours later after I gave a call. He was very professional, he checked it, found the problem quickly and fixed it. Just a month ago, out air conditioning system went out when we had family in town. Even though it was January, it was still in the 80s making it pretty miserable inside. A Star Air Conditioning was available to come out and service our unit and cool us off quickly. Our AC repair Fort Lauderdale was amazing, and they even gave us some tips to keep our unit running better through the summer.My husband has his own business, and in Fort Lauderdale commercial AC repair can sometimes be difficult to get on demand. We decided to keep A Star in mind for our business as well.

Great company! Showed up on time!!! Very affordable. I was about to pass out because my A/C stopped working on a freaking saturday afternoon!!! Being that I live in Miami I have been used by some awful customer service from the laundromat to the dude down the street making a burger, but A Star was a refreshing surprise. I called them and was greeted by a friendly technician who came over within an hour and fixed the problem in no time (turned out to be a bad thermostat), I was back to watching porn in 70 degree comfort again!!! ;)

I own a rental property in North Lauderdale Fl.For the past 30 years plus, I have had quite a lot of problems with allfour A/C units, most of them could be fixed easily.However none of them were fixed easily, or reasonably priced, untilA STAR A/C came a long, in the last tow years they replaced tow of the four units, A couple of weeks ago I had to call them to service the third one, BUT THEY DID NOT WAND TO DO WHAT THE UNIT NEEDED, THEY WANTED TO REPLACE THE WHOLE UNIT RITE FROM SCRUCH.When I asked the tech about the rutling noise coming from the unit they replaced tow years ago, I never got any answer and they never got back tome regarding the repair of under warranty, and they never finished the job they came to do either.Now at this time I do not know if I should pass the news on to my Attorney Mr Kirkiles who introduced me to A Srar A/C, or not;I think I shall wait a little longer and then I at have a ward with My attorney.
