Solar water heater, solar pool heater, and salt chlorinator were all installed at the same time by this company. It took several visits from the inspector before anything passed. I should have taken that as a warning.Each time someone came out from the company it was someone new and they always blamed the tech before them for not doing it correctly.Over two years of complaining about no regulation on the solar water heater and scalding temps due to the incorrect installation. Each person that came out had a different solution.The solar pool heater has caused leaks to my roof.The chlorinator they installed isnt even available in the US, its from Australia and trying to get support on it is next to impossible.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A MESS FROM START TO INCOMPLETE, NO FINISH EXCEPT FOR USING A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO FIX THE PROBLEMS

Used them for installation of a oversized solar pool heating system. Absolutely amazing guys, great work, great quality, and when we did work on the roof 3 years later and needed some extra parts, they were so nice and helping us out without extra charge so we could complete our roof job.

Replaced water heater and solar panel, very high cost. Left the system leaking due to lack of replacement essential parts. Had no hot water anywhere except in the tank. No follow up call to check on final product! Closed for the weekend, may or may not hear until Monday in spite of phone messages!

Great company to use! Very friendly, on time and does the work agreed upon with no hidden extras. Highly recommend them!!!

Dont hire this company. In my opinion, their installers are untrained bone heads. I hired them to install solar heating for my house and pool. It took them 3 tries to pass the inspection by the city because they didnt mount the panel into the joist properly. I had really bad leaks around that same area a year and a day after it was installed (their warranty is only 1 year). The pool panel piping had several pinhole leaks that had to repaired and the valve they used was really cheap and already broken. The solar hot water heater temperature sensor doesnt work right, causing the pump to come on at the wrong time. I have had to hire roofers to replace rotten wood and fix leads from their terrible installation. I also had to hire a different company to come correct their installation mistakes. Overall, very sloppy amateur work. There are better solar companies out there, dont hire this one.The only saving grace is that the pool heating panels do work really well and I would recommend anyone in Florida with a pool to get some. Im even able to heat my spa to 102 degrees in a couple of hours with just the sun.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I purchased a pool water heater from Advance Solar. From Sean, the sales rep, to all the tech guys, everybody was super responsive, professional and honest. The quality of their work and equipment is excellent. I highly recommend them.

Advance installed a full solar electric, hot water and solar pool heating system at a very reasonable price. They were very attentive to my concerns from the time it was quoted until the final inspections were done. They will handle FPL, so you can get your net meter installed and sell electricity to the power co! I would recommend Brian and Mark, they are very knowledgeable about everything solar.

Summary:Paid them barely 3 figures for service, ended up paying well into the 4 figures to partially re-roof the damage/leak caused by them. Caused roof leak, poorly secured solar heater, broke roof tiles - no reimbursement.Honesty:Ill be fully honest here and no emotions involved, just monetary quality of value. Im writing this a good amount of time later than they originally serviced my house, so again - less emotions involved. I do not review often, only if its a company that I believe is best in their field, or a company that is either of bad value, fraud, scam, bad work, poor quality, and etc... This company earned 2 stars, as youll learn - not all of their services are bad.Details:They did an indoor plumbing repair job perfect - good price, knowledgable, no problems.They actually did 2 indoor plumbing jobs - and again, it was perfect. But when I re-roofed, they charged me a a few hundred to remove the solar water heater (before re-roofing) and reinstall the solar water heater (after re-roofing).The end result is that that holes they drilled when they re-installed the solar water heater resulted in a leak eventually. Likewise, when they drilled into the roof to secure the solar water heater, the bolts are as round as your thumb. And with such a big bolt, they missed 1 main wooden crossbar frame on my new roof, which I discovered myself over a year later when I was in the attic and a large bolt was sticking through the roof - partially touching the crossbar. It was exactly where the solar heater is mounted. The other bolts were properly secured.Lastly, all was fine for several years, but now I am paying thousands of dollars to partially re-roof my house again since 3 of the bolts they drilled ended up leaking.

Looks like a good job. Had to wait a month for installation. Everything looks good so far. Everyone was courteous.

Really bad experience first took for ever to install then one panel broke 3 months after installation told me i havevto pay 430 it was not cover by the warranty they sell you really i recoment fpl solar program oh and i been sue for 430 when i spend 29 thousand on a system you barly save

Had them come out to fix a leak in the system. They charged me an arm and a leg and I still have leaks. Might have to get ahold of the BBB. Wont use this company ever again.

I have worked with Yamil at Advance Solar for several years now. He is a breath of fresh air! So, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Whenever we have had a problem with our solar panels or solar water heater, I call Yamil and he sends a service technician to check our solar system right away. Andrew was our service tech this week. He was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. Thank you, Yamil and Andrew for quickly getting the job done. Advance Solar has a great service team. I recommend them highly!!!

Over the last three years weve had a roof leak three times, twice advanced came out and temporary patch that. We ended up having a roofing company come out and patch the roof around the solar pipes that went Through our roof for a price of $750. Last year when advance solar was here they were in our attic looking for the leak. Sometime later we start having insulation come through the AC vent in the bathroom. We had air-conditioning company come out and found the vent under the solar panels was broken open. That was a $300 repair. No one else has been up in the attic since advanced solar was up there trying to repair it. Whats worse is when you call and tell them you have a problem such as a leak they get defensive and make you feel guilty and tell you that its not under warranty any longer even though it is not an equipment problem. When we initially bought the system the salesman told us there would be no holes made to our roof and to our tile. That was not true. He also told us that the pool temp would self regulate by thermostat. That was not true. We had to spend $500 more after the installation to have the thermostat installed. It was a very short honeymoon.

Service is good, once you get them to actually doing the job. Scheduling is awful

A few issues post installation but Yamil Went above and beyond to rectify them. Very happy with the customer service and highly recommend Advanced Solar.

Lost permits, trash left of property, tools left in yard, vast delays in the installation process then not keeping us properly informed about why the delays were happening (lying), Lied to our faces to get us to sign a contract then not putting said promises in contract, no assistance in the net metering application then holding the permits from us for weeks so we cant finalize the net metering application, sending us the wrong permits, denials about lost permits and debris left in yard and roof, holes left in yard from ladders....it goes on and on. Buyer beware. Very unprofessional.

Poor service. Company scheduled an appointment then didnt keep it. Didnt call to say they werent coming. Because of their schedule I had taken a day off without pay. When I followed up the next business day they were very rude so I canceled service request.
