I have always had good luck with tuffy. They are some honest people there.

Im not sure why it took this long for me to write this, but two years ago on August 9th, 2018 I got a flat tire on the highway near Pierson Rd exit on 75. I pulled off on the side of the exit ramp and shortly after, a white pick up truck pulled up behind me and said he owned Tuffys right there on the corner and would have one of his guys put my spare on for me. I believe the owners name was Dave, but it was so long ago I cant remember now. He came back with one of his technicians and he changed my tire on the side of the highway. I was so grateful for him and will forever remember the kindness I was offered from a total stranger. Its been two years and it still crosses my mind.

They provided quick help and honest work when we had an urgent issue on a long trip. During an emergency on a long trip, we stopped in unannounced and they were able to look at our car within 30 minutes. They diagnosed the issue swiftly, it was an easy fix, and they did not even charge is any fees. Would recommend to anyone who needs help with their car troubles.Thanks for the great service.

My mother and I love Taffy, Paul and Steve always take care of us and our vehicle... they are always so very nice to us.

They did a great job changing the oil and rotating the tires on my motorhome, but they didnt put a sticker in the window to remind me when the next oil change should be and when I called asking to have one sent they said they would send it and didnt...guess Ill call again tomorrow...

Had a little accident so I had it towed here and Paul was able to get my car fixed that same day. Great service!

I’ve been to this location several of times over the last couple years and they are extremely fair and do a great job. The manager Paul has a heart and treats everyone fairly. I trust him. Steve is a mechanic there and is just like Paul. Steve also does a great job fixing my car each time.

I took my car there because I could hear grinding of brake. I feared my pad were gone an Id need rotors they inspected my brakes and found it was road dirt. They cleaned my brake and replaced a broken lugnut stem. They could have lied and charged me for more I appreciate their honesty

I have taken vehicles to these guys for years. They are knowledgeable, thorough and honest, and they always take good care of me for a fair price. Specifically, Paul is easy to work with, and Bill does excellent work.

We have used Tuffy on Pierson Road for years. Anything from a simple oil change to tune-ups on our vehicles as well as brakes, shocks, mufflers, etc. And thats just it...They do it All! and best of all, if they cant (havent seen that one yet), they never quit trying to find a solution!! A friend of mine always takes his car to the dealership for his oil changes and tire rotations. Three express lanes, in and out. I, on the other hand, choose the toss-up of having to wait for the same services at my local Tuffy because I love the people there so much. The wait - if it happens - has been well worth it time and time again because I know Im always in good hands with them. They make sure all my fluids are topped off and give my whole car a thorough inspection. One time they informed me about something as simple as the cap to my coolant being a little loose and recommended me to keep an eye on it; they are very detail-orientated folks who you can tell have genuine interest in the maintenance and safety of your car. Very pleasant and knowledgeable people. I would recommend them to anyone.

I live in Mt. Morris and have a Tuffy right down the road, along with other shops, but i always go to Tuffy on Pierson road because the service is great. Every time i go in there everyone is friendly to me, tries there best to explain the problem and take care of me. I went in there recently for a checkup and Ricky and Jim helped me. They were both very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Tuffy on Pierson because they actually care about you and make sure your car is safe and ready to drive.

I went in on a whim to get a front end alignment. Their price was comparable to others in the area but when I mention that I could get it less else where, they worked with me a bit and for me, that was very helpful. While I sat and waiting, I overhead many conversations between staff and customer, and every single one they were very friendly with and I couldnt believe they offered to deliver someone car to them. Amazing. Ill be going back to them for sure!

Well worth the drive from Fenton to Flint! Drove in on a wing and a prayer and drove out running like new! Jim my mechanic was exceptional he did a great job. Rick the Manager has always been honest and more than fair.It is hard to find a shop you can trust and over the years this is one I know I can!

Close to closing time, the workers stayed to fix my daughters car. Her brakes were in terrible condition and she needed it for the next day They got together as a team and fix her car so we all walked out at the same time. The owner was very nice and very understanding and he had a great attitude about fixing our car. I even used a coupon add got a warranty for the work.THANKS TUFFY

All I can say is WOW! I had a tire blow out and pulled into their parking lot. My car did not have a spare so I asked if I could borrow a Jack and a wrench so I could take my tire off and walk across the interstate to Discount tire. The manager, Paul said he wasnt going to let me do that. So he took my tire off loaded it in his truck took me and my tire to Discount tire. He talked to the manager, Carter, there. Discount Tire got me a new tire in about 10 minutes. Carter dropped me back off to Tuffy and Paul put my tire back on my car and sent me on my way. No charge. WOW!

We were on a road trip from Manitoba, and suddenly had low oil light come on. Pulled into Tuffy’s, thinking I could probably buy some oil there. The attendant went and got us a couple of quarts (liters) 😜, and funnel and rags! Mechanic stopped and helped as we were adding it to our Yukon. When I went to pay, he wouldn’t take pay!! How’s that for service??

My Wife and I had our air conditioning recharged, and all the employees went the extra mile to insure that everything worked perfectly. They were kind, friendly, and very reasonable when it came to the extras. Would recommend this Tuffy to anyone terrific place.

Ive always heard negative things about Tuffy but when I went I got great service. They werent rude or impatient they took their time and made sure I had clear understandings of work that needed to be done on my car. I will definitely be going back and also referring others Tuffy is a grade A business in my book.

Replaced my tire stud under short notice, after my tire bolt fell off and caused a lot of clanking/difficulty driving. Explained everything throughout and eased a lot of worry. Ill be back!

I had a new battery installed for my car at Tuffys, a place where I know I can get quality service for my vehicles. The Interstate battery that was installed was a replacement for one they had previously installed nearly six years ago. I come back to them because I can trust both the quality of work and quality of the staff.

I had a bit of a crisis come up on my way from Ann Arbor to Frankenmuth, as my car would not shift gears. It was a Friday at about 5:30 and I was very fortunate to find this place on the first exit I could get off at. The mechanics immediately took a look, found the problem, and had it fixed in under an hour. On a Friday at 5:30, I was already considering how much a tow would cost, but these guys really pulled through for me. They handled my situation perfectly, and Ill be going back there for many future visits.

Rick, and his staff were very nice and courteous, and even honored a discount which was told to me by a tire place, for a front end alignment which was needed on my truck and then Rick also gave us the Tuffy 1200 mile roadside assistance and explained how that worked, which me and my wife didnt even know that would be offered for going there for this service. I will be recommending Tuffy to my family and Friends and going there for any future problems I may have on my vehicles.

I have been there 2 times for work and bill behind the counter and jimbo has both helped me and they are one of the nicest shops iv ever been to great customer service good work done on time and not one issue thanks allot guys.

Took it there for a front end alignment. the stearing wheel was still off center, and the toe and caster was still off. of course they didnt save the alignment sheet either because they evidently did the bare minimum before closing. do not recommend!

I got a flat tire and needed to borrow a Jack so that I could change my tire. And the mechanic Bill not only said I could borrow the Jack, but he took time out of a current job he was on. And changed my tire for me( at no charge). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU BILL

Yesterday afternoon I tried to start my van in a store parking lot 3 miles down the road from Tuffy, but discovered my starter was shot. I called Tuffy and within 10 minutes Dave and Rick came to my rescue. They arrived at the parking lot, checked to make sure my starter was the problem, drove me home, had my van towed to their shop, and made sure the new part was available when my van arrived. Then they replaced the starter without raping my bank account, and even stayed 15 minutes after closing to finish the job so I could have my van back the same day. Wow!! Thank you!!

The manager & mechanics at this Tuffys are honest & thorough. I have had nothing but positive experiences over the years when Ive entrusted my vehicles to their care. Recently, I visited another garage in Fenton for warranty brake work & was quoted future repairs in other areas in the amount in excess of $2500. I took my vehicle to see Rick at Tuffys for a 2nd opinion. He & his mechanics did several in-house and road tests to determine that the only problem with my vehicle was it needing a new fuel filter. In the future, I wont be taking my vehicles anywhere else.

Called 5 minutes before going there for a wheel alignment. Guy told me 49.95 and 15-20 minute wait. Took me only 5 minutes to get there after hanging up .the rep at the counter lies and tell me 59.95 and there will be a 4 hour wait. Never in my life will I go back here or even refer someone to them.Bad customer service
