These guys are awesome!! From Dan and Eric in the front to Justin and Butch in the garage. They are honest and reliable. I always take my vehicles here first. If it’s something they can fix they get it done and do it right. If they can’t (I needed some welding done on my exhaust) they may recommend someone else who can. Which helps a ton. I trust them and honestly sleep better at night knowing I have a whole team of people to help when my cars break down. Thanks guys, I appreciate you!!

Stopped in today to get something looked at on my F150... Was there first thing in the morning. Pulled it in... Got the issue figured out. Was done quick. Everyone there was quite friendly as well. Ill definitely be going back there next time I have an issue. Hopefully its not for awhile lol but.. yeah I wont hesitate going there again.

They do good work I give them three stars because someone broke in my car and the other cars that were there it took everything out of it.

Eric the manager was knowledgeable and really helpful he was able to get my vehicle in and get the repairs done when other shops couldnt or wouldnt great place to go to get your vehicle repaired.

Brian is my favorite Tuffy Manager. I was more than happy to see him at the helm of operations at the Dort highway, Flint location a few months ago when I stopped in looking to have my wifes Traverse worked on. He knows his workers and repeat customers, as well as how to handle walk-ins like family. Also, theres a lot of relief having my repairs done fast AND right by qualified people. My family mean everything to me. I wont trust their safety to just anyone, or put a price on it.

They went above & beyond in there service. Cisco Ramon was instrumental in getting an RV on the road. What a mans man. You rock!

Came in because when I turn my wheel it makes a clicking sound that also creates a sound that seems to me is coming from the the front driver side. It rattles and vibrates. I was told it was the tie rods. As soon as I get my car back I come back and tell them the problem is not fixed. I was told dont worry its not a safety issue. I will not stand for that. I bring my car back, I was in a meeting so I told them to please contact my dad. He was told it was a problem with the gear box and that its not a safety issue again. I come to pick up the car and Im told its my rotors and my intermediate steering shaft, but its not a safety issue. At this point I do not trust them. So why did you fix my tie rods if it was gear box? The shaft? My rotors? So what really is wrong with my car, because it seems like every time someone says something different. I brought my car in because its making a noise it clearly should not make. Wether it is a safety concern or not I took it in to get fixed. They charged me and did not fix the problem. Do not take your car here they clearly do not know what they are doing. I was charged $330 and my car is not fixed. This is stealing.

Was going to have two mufflers installed and found out they were the wrong size inlet/outlet for my truck. Started out trying to help me out by getting the right ones for my exhaust system, I appreciated that but it has several leaks and to my surprise one of them is on backwards. Been back twice and have got the same story bring it back some other time. Trying to make up my mind about what to do about this situation

They sis a front end alignment it was not that Expensive and people was real friendly

Not very busy, I was here for 3+ hours so they could clean my throttle body. Cars running a little better, if I wouldve known what they did was so easy I wouldve done it myself. $100 for 5+ mpg... And its still idling rough, but atleast it starts right up now. Also the guy working on my car left grease marks EVERYWHERE, my cars pretty old, but I still try and keep it as clean as possible, pretty unprofessional if you ask me.

I cant say enough GREAT things about this location!I went for the first time last summer for a quote on a repair and my car did not start as I went to leave. They were able to fix it the same day for me.I have taken two other vehicles into Tuffy for service this year and have been EXTREMELY happy each time.The managers and service men are helpful and friendly every time. The one manager, Dave, remembered me this year just by seeing me. He remembered the car I brought in the previous summer for the service.Yesterday I needed a fuel pump replaced in my vehicle. I brought the parts in to Tuffy and they were able to get her repaired very quickly. They are always upfront and honest. There were parts that I purchased that werent needed and they were left in my car so I could return them.I am very comfortable going in to Tuffy to speak with Dave, Dustin, John or John. As a woman, I have been talked down to by men at other shops, but here I am treated like a friend. I do the majority of work on my car and I have talked to them about what I have done and they are accepting. It is a wonderful experience.I have to mention the vehicle I took in there is my old faithful and my pride & joy.She is also my test vehicle at most places, which I dont mention. She is 20 years old, has a rusted out body and some days a miracle she runs. But she is the Best vehicle I have ever owned. I have had brand new vehicles that have not lasted as long.If a shop can repair her and treat her with respect, then they are a win in my book. I had a mechanic once replace the fly wheel in her and set the old greasy flywheel in the cloth drivers seat. He also did not wear gloves and everything he touched inside my Jimmy was covered in grease. He said why should I care because its so old.Happily I will take all of my vehicles to Tuffy (on Dort & Lapeer) in Flint for service.I HIGHLY recommend them to my friends, co-workers and customers that come in to my business. I work right down the street.These guys are the greatest and do awesome work!!And with the new fuel pump, she is running like a champ again!!!!

Efficient, affordable, and helpful.

Had my vehicle for two days never fixed anything and was ply in keeping it over the weekend end and supposedly fix it Monday. I took it back before they end up ruining it.

Very disappointed!!! i was told i had transmission line cut!!! $600!!! come to find out no lines were cut!!! it was just pulled out!!! no charge from the next shop!!! Was it because Im a woman!!! i dont know but i will never go there again!!! my car almost went to the junk yard!!

Ive been to a lot of Auto repair shops and Tuffy has to be one of the most professional businesses I have been to. The service is great and the manager was very helpful and answered all questions and didnt give attitude like other auto repair shops. Usually other services just give you your keys and send you on your way but before my car was returned to me they even gave me a few suggestions on car maintenance. I feel safe with tuffy and I will trust them to do any job.

Dave, the manager, is always friendly and to-the-point. Jason and Butch did a great job on my car. I go to Tuffy for everything from brakes to oil changes, and its guys never disappoint.

We have an extended cab Sierra. Not even that long and they dont have a rack long enough. Youd think for a well known high rated place youd think they would invest in at least 1 wonder rack?

Each time I have brought my car to them they have done great work. They have even helped me with small things, such as torching off a fused bolt. Dave, one of the managers, remembers just about everyone and has never tried to sell me on extras.

I went into Tuffy because I thought I needed new brake pads. They took a look and showed me that I needed a whole new brake system. My pads, brakes, and routers were all rusted out. I gave them the OK and they took care of me. They were plight and professional, and seemed to care about my well being. My new brakes are great and working perfectly.

They took longer then told. Did mot inform me of additional problem and put in used parted but invoiced me for brand new.

Yesterday I took my Regal to tuffy and had exellent service. For now on i will always go to that one they treated my vehicle with care.

Set my car on fire. I asked the guy twice to check out a car I recently bought. He claimed to not smell the antifreeze. After talking with him, to try and remedy one of my concerns I agreed to a fuel injectoion cleaning. They spilled a flamable under my engin cover. Never imformed me. Let drive off after paying or course. Hours later I had to car the Flint FD twice to extinguish he flames which later billed me, and provide my own towing. The owner was apologetic and compensated along with my insurance company. Thank God! I only owned this for a week.

Quality Auto Service with a knowledgeable staff

My experience with Tuffy has alway been a great one. The employees go far and beyond the call of dutie to service there customers.Dave has always made sure that every question that I have had has been asked, and with that being said I trust and believe that they are doing the best work and I dont feel as thought they are cheating me out of my money. Although I havent been a customer for that very long, they know me by name and make me feel like family everytime I enter into the shop. This is why I will be a lony-term customer at Tuffy S Dort Hwy.

This Tuffy The The mechanic Val is it licensed or certified to do anything on your car the mechanics are not certified you can check it out with G State Of Michigan that handles origin saying of mechanics and other places in the floor is been ripping people off steadily fourteen months
